Living in Collector, NSW

2019-12-25T21:57:00.002-08:00

Welcome to the community of Collector. A small village with a perfect commute for both Canberra and Goulburn travellers. Offering yoga weekly at the community hall, sponsors of the fabulous Pumpkin Festival and a Preschool three times a week available at the community hall.

Some Cafe - a delicious cafe that leaves you cooler just for stepping foot in the door.

Bushranger Hotel - join the community for dinner on Friday night with great company, often fabulous live bands and often the sponsors of fun family community events.

Collector Public School - A beautiful local school for K to 6
There are also buses that run the other students into Canberra and Goulburn every day.

Collector Fresh - a fruit and veg shop that makes your own garden green with envy. Offering weekend fresh food buying or weekly baskets delivered to your door. Collector Fresh has been the source of delicious dinners many times in our home.

Kiki's in the Grove - beautiful scenic meals to be had at this restaurant.

Well, now that I have mentioned a few of the great things about this community, I will share some info about my home we would like to sell. We are moving purely because after 10 years of living in Australia we have decided it was time to move back to the USA as our parents are getting older and needing help as well as our support. If it wasn't for that we would stay perfectly placed in this beautiful village.

Our beautiful home will be going to Auction beginning of March unless sold prior.

We have picked the amazing Ryan from LJ Hooker to take care of things for us.

4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, study nook, fabulous laundry room and an open living area for the
lounge room and a kitchen with a large walk in pantry.

Off to the side of the dining area you will see a big rumpus room
(or can be used as a 5th non-conforming bedroom or an home office).

203m2 home with additional outdoor veranda area.

16430m2 block in the main village

3 x 30,000 litre tanks and a large roof span for rain collection

Energy-efficient home with extra insulation, double glazed windows, ceiling fans in all rooms,

led bulbs through all the home, solar system and solar hot water system.

Rates are less than $1200/yr

Awesome quarterly energy bills....(here is our current bill)

Master bedroom with His & Her Closet space and an ensuite

Three bedrooms in addition to the master bedroom

2nd Bathroom with big bathtub

A good-sized laundry room off the back entrance door with lots of room for shelving and storage.

It will be listed online soon - keep an eye out for it!

If you had to spend time with a family for the holiday's - this one would be it. They were a blast to photograph last week. One of the hottest days in their area but we made it work. Thanks for inviting me into your beautiful home to meet your family. It was a blast! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Tozer's

This was a wedding full of love and laughter.

Surrounded by friends and family that really cared for this couple and their family.

What a beautiful day to be apart of.

There is a reason I just love being apart of weddings is because the love & joy shared is contagious!

I love when families come back for more photos. I get to see their kids grow up and I get a little catch up on how they are doing. Loved taking this family's photos tonight, we even beat the incoming storm for some fantastic shots of their fabulous kiddos!
