A sad, grey, rainy day. What does that mean? Indeed, an extra challenge to still show some sunny pictures.We met our couple in Sint-Niklaas, were we headed for the park for our shoot... After a drink :-)
Due to the sometimes really heavy rain, we decided to use the cafe/castle in the park to start of with the shoot. Luckily, after an hour or so, the rain got a bit better, and we were able to go outside for the remainder of this great e-session with this great couple!

Using available light for your photography isn't always easy. Especially not in the Belgian climate. As big fans of Mike Larson, we were of course easily persuaded to for a California Sunbounce. And, since we often get the question, what this big impressive shield (we opted for the sun-bounce pro) would really result in, we posted these photos. The pro allows us to light out a whole group, or to just let one individual jump out of it. The resulting light looks very natural, and can be a bit varied depending on which material/side you use (gold, silver, white,...).

One good tip though... if it is a windy day, let the heaviest person hold the screen...

Yes, you can go airborne with this :-)

For this beautiful wedding we had to drive to Ninove. We were expected at the hairdresser at 7 am, so it was quite early to get out of bed, but it was well worth it. The sun was at our service throughout the whole day, and dissapeared and made place for thunder as soon as the outside part of the wedding was finished.

Little Lieze, what a tremendous experience. This was one of the greatest and sweetest little girls that we ever knew. And the honour was ours to have a shoot with her and her family. We had another lucky evening, since we could do an engagementshoot with this nice couple. We met in Dendermonde, to check out the locations for their big day. Besides the nice and warm weather, we were also very lucky with the light. We made a great and fun evening out of it, of which you can check out the results below. Finally the time had come! Being a big fan of Joe Satriani, it was a huge honour to have the ability to go to his concert to make pictures. This guitargod, who has quite a list of well known guitarplayers as students, played as if his life depended on it, that evening in the Royal Circus in Brussels. We can't give you the wonderfull sound he created with his guitar,but these pictures do let the music flow. A great experience which made me respect this musical genius even more.

This cheerful couple married on the 17th of may, inbetween the bad weather. We definately were the lucky ones, since we did not have to fight the rain on this special day. We had the luck to be able to do the locationshoot on the ferry between Doel and Lillo, for which we are the crew very thankful. Although dry, it was a cold day, but we managed to fae the cold with a laugh, and the wish for great photo's.
We would like to thank Sara & Kevin for this beautiful day, and we are honoured to have had the opportunity to make their pictures. We hope they will bring them cheerful memories for years to come.

On the 3th of May Sugar Jackson defended his European Titel against the Ukrainian Viktor Plotnikov. The boxers needed 12 rounds, but Sugar can still call himself European Champion. Photography Luna was there and wants to show you the results.

We would like to show you the result of our engagementshoot this weekend. With this always laughing couple we went to the ghosttown Doel to ease the nerves for their wedding next week. Erik en Sanne decided to leave their regular instrumentation behind, and found some new inspiration with the Gipsies. The result is an album "Parfum Tzigane", which consists of their typical songs, combined with the a-typical Gipsy music. And honestly, the result is more then ok.
