Photohumourist

This morning in Sydenham at Venner Square while hanging with another local photographer while we handed out leaflets for Sydenham Lens Festival coming up in February and March next. I will be leading a street photography workshop. More on that later. #se26 #Sydenham #Lewisham #everydayUK #everydayLondon #repostmyfuji #millennium_images #tea_journals #x100 #Fujifilm #SPiCollective #gspc #streetphotographer #streetphotographers #dailydog #dogstagram #dogsofinstagram

This is better than previous versions with stiffer canvas cover and satin spine. I have one more prototype to make before deciding on final product. #SE26 #Sydenham #Lewisham #diypublishing #selfpublishing #handmade #handmadephotobook #streetphotography #myneighborhood #myneighbourhood @flakphoto #millennium_images #x100 #Fujifilm #repostmyfuji

Cloth version of my SE26 book. Not too keen on the cloth or leather covers. Next up will be a paper canvas cover which I think will nail it @davidgibsonstreetphotography take a look at the black leather cover too. Here's # 3 of 1st batch of 10 going out to a fellow artist and resident of Sydenham (SE26). The leather used on the cover was found material which I removed from a discarded piece of furniture. Unfortunately the white foam behind the leather got blown all over the street as was likely messed with by foxes. The husband of the artist friend to whom I will shortly deliver this book cleaned up the mess. This book is my apology for the inconvenience I caused. Pippa and Dave, I'm sorry. #photobook #diypublishing #selfpublishing #SE26 #Sydenham #streetphotography #handmade #handmadebook

Looking south over the Thames towards Greenwich from Orchard Place in Leamouth The sky is ever reliable when it comes to making interesting photographs. I find myself looking up more and more these days. All photographers like to play with the light as it falls on things and in all it's glorious variety. I like to look straight at the sun and put things in it's path when I can. #millennium_images #repostmyfuji #everydayLondon #everydayUK #riverthames #London #streetphotographer #streetphotography #SPiCollective #shutup_London #gspc #igersLondon #2instagood #watchthisinstagood #x100 #Fujifilm @flakphoto #skyporn #skystagram #skyscape

I made this photograph on the streets of #Williamsburg in #Brooklyn back in 2003. It came to mind this morning when I was thinking #WTFUSA and such like. This picture sums up my thoughts and confusion on all that has just happened I published a book on US flag etiquette some years back.
