PhotoPost Classifieds 5.5 beta will bring in some new features and bug fixes as well as work on supporting newer versions of PHP which are coming out on people’s servers. The new features are listed below. Anyone running PHP 5.4 or newer will need to use the new beta. New Features will be added as the beta cycle progresses.

New Features:

-Updated WYSIWYG Editor
-Some Style Enhancements for the Standalone Styling
-New Menu system added for Standalone and Forum Installs where menu is not integrated
-New Sidebar Options to set a display order so entire sidebar has been moved into its own function.
-Updates to vB5 integration to fix recent changes they have made to there integration.

You do have an upgrade script to run to update from 5.4 to 5.5. There are several directories noted you must upload in there entirety with all the changes made to things..

-jQuery Image Overlay of image info can be turned on or off. For display purposes this feature works best with thumbnails over 175pixels.
- Added Ability for User’s to set a Language Preference to override Global Language setting.

-Updates to vB5 integration to fix recent changes they have made to there integration.

ReviewPost 6.2 is a maintenance release to add the following features to the program as well as take care of any reported issues since the release of 6.2. Other features will be announced as the beta progresses

New Features:

* HTML 5 template validation with tableless design for standalone ReviewPost sites.
* HTML 5 template validation for xenforo installs.
* Updated Plugins for Xenforo with html5 validation for the plugins.
* Added framework to switch styles on the fly. There is a style selector plugin in the plugins forum
* Added Xenforo Style Map in Admin so users with custom styles can change the style class elements used in the xenforo templates.
* ReviewPost Sitemap Added
* Registration Banned Email Address/Domain for the Registration system has been added.
* Added new cookie_salt variable for vBulletin
* Fixed the vB5 style integration which was broken with the 5.03 release of vBulletin where they changed there styling.
* HTML 5 validation to the vB5 template set.
* Enhanced templating work done to the vBulletin 4 templates.
* Enhanced templating work done to the forumstyle templates.
* Added ability to edit reviews when moderating in the admin panel.
* Added ability to set a sort on the category additional extra fields and review fields.
* Added a new usergroup permissions for forum integrated installs to set a minimum number of forum posts before a user can post. Helps promote activity on the forum and prevent spammers/lurkers.

You will need to run the upgrade script for this release. It is important that you upload all files noted in this release. With that said it is best that you remove your stylesheets and templates folders and upload them from this build since most of this release is centered on style and templating.

vBulletin users will need to add the new cookie_salt variable to the config-inc.php file and set the proper cookie_salt variable in the instructions.

PhotoPost Pro 8.3 fixes any issues reported since the release of Pro 8.23. New Features for the 8.3 series are listed below.

New Features

. New Full Enhanced Integration for Xenforo Forums. This integration uses the full header footer style integration giving users a very attractive alternative to the vBulletin Product.
. New Support for the new vBulletin 5 product. This integration uses the full header footer style integration like previous vBulletin versions.

. Added Unlimited Definable Profile Fields
. Added New Sidebar Permissions which allow independent left and right sidebars which can be ran at the same time and you can configure whether to show the sidebar content left or right. ( Note that the double sidebar is not compatible with vb5 integration as that system does not allow such a layout at this time ).
. Added new plugin locations to take advantage of the new sidebar system
. Improved Search Routines.
. Changed Scan Database Routines that when you select a category its subcategories will also be scanned.
. Added Administration Settings for vBulletin 4 Plugins in Admin panel
. Added Facebook og:image og:title and og:description tags
. Added option to remove redirection message pages.
. Added option to pick which program to extract exif from images. You can use PHP if your server’s php has it installed or jhead if your server has jhead to process exif.
. Added Facebook like Tagging on Photos.
. Added TinyMCE WYSIWYG Editor
. Moved Admin Ajax move/delete display on top of photo instead of below.

We have had some stable betas out for our PhotoPost Pro, ReviewPost and Classifieds products for several months now.
