Its been a while!!

Hey guys!! I've been extremely busy :-( I have not been posting like I should and I apologize!!!! Do forgive?
Let me catch you guys up! Well.... I turned 24 on Saturday July 23rd (LEO baby whoot whoot!!) My girls and I went out to Pio Pio :-)

Then we went to HK Lounge....
(NEVER EVER GOING THERE EVER AGAIN)
Where a few more of my friends met me and my love was there :-)

Then the next day on my actual birthday... Omar and I went out for breakfast which was a light fruit salad and yogurt....

Then treated me to RED DOOR SPA where I had a full body massage and my FIRST facial!

The services were amazing!!! I was so relaxed!!

Then we went to build a bear where Omar bought me a bear because he always tells me no when I want one... so it was a pleasant surprise when I got my new friend!! :-)

Thank you to all of you guys who wished me a Happy Birthday! 24 is one that I will NEVER forget!

So I have been indecisive lately. I been thinking about selling my D300 and purchasing a new DSLR which allows me to shoot and record. I have put out ads on Craigslist and was willing to sell it for a decent price but my anxiety started to kick in and I can't let my baby go. This is the first camera I purchased with my hard earned money and I wouldn't feel right handing it over to someone else. Lol check me out getting emotional over this post.
I wrote all of this to say- if you are passionate about something it is always great to upgrade, but don't forget where you came from... those memories will keep you humbled.
I've decided to keep my baby....

Omar and I spent the weekend in Philly with his FAAM brother LJ. It was a great time. I've never been to Philly.. (SMH and I was a huge Sixers fan) I enjoyed the city, The nightlife, the lights, the bridge! LoL you guys know I'm a visual person! :-)

Hi All!

Thank you for LOVING our video! Oh My GAWSH! I never expected this much from Omar and myself being.... well ourselves!!

I’m completely humbled while receiving you guys’ positive feedback!! I am so happy that you guys get to see what I see every day. Omar is definitely the star of the video. He keeps me laughing and there is never a dull moment.

I’ve noticed that since I put the video up Omar has been giving me the side eye while I apply my makeup lol…… There might be a part two ladies and gentleman!

This was a quick blog entry to let you guys know that I appreciate all the love and positivity that has come our way since the video has been posted.

:: raises right hand :: Omar and I have read EVERY SINGLE comment that has been posted to our video. I don’t know about him but I smile so hard while reading them all. I check the locations of the users from time to time and to see people from LONDON and ASIA looking at my video makes me say WHOA! J

We love letting you guys into our normal everyday “adventures”.

We are also accepting suggestions to what you guys would like to see in future videos.

My LOVE story: One Charm At A Time

In March of 2010 Omar decided to purchase my Pandora Bracelet. Each charm that I have has a special meaning. Here is my love story...

1. Clock Charm: The significance of this charm was simply "Perfect timing".

2. Penguin Charm: My blog is Purple Penguin. Purple is my favorite color and I have a special love for penguins lol I think they are absolutely adorable :-)

3. Heart Charm: Although this charm wasn't given to me with an "explanation" I noticed that around the time he purchased this charm we have been really expressing our feelings towards each other, I believe that this was around the time he said "I love you" for the first time.

4. Money Bag Charm: With both of us investing in a better- wealthier future, we made a promise to each other that we will be each others 'financial advisor' we decided that we will help each other financially along with everything else.

5. Gift Charm: This charm was a 'just because' gift to add to my collection. We were at Applebees one night and he totally suprised me with this charm. I think that its well put together, the bow looks soo pretty and I think that this is one of my favorites :-)

6. Cupcake Charm with 14ct Gold: This charm was given to me on my 23rd birthday (July 23, 2010). That day was so special. The night before I went out with my girls, and even though I was out Omar managed to call and be THE FIRST person to wish me a happy birthday :-) After celebrating with my friends, Omar came to pick me up and treated me like a Queen all day.

7. Kitty Cat Charm: Omar HATES cats! lol BUT loves my 2 yr old cat- Mango. He loves her so much that he wanted her on my wrists :-) SO there she is.

8. Football Charm: Um we're JETS fans... DUH!!

9. Teddy Bear Charm: This charm was given to me to hug when I'm missing Omar and he can't be with me at that moment.

I absolutely adore my Pandora Bracelet. I look at it every day and I fall in love all over again. It completes every outfit. There isn't a day where I don't wear it.

As you know, Japan has recently experienced tragedy. Omar and I decided to pay homage to the Japanese culture and experience Japanese dining for the first time! The restaurant is named Mumon. The service was outstanding, the food was DELICIOUS!!

Mumon is located in Garden City, NY.
