Hanami - Cherry Blossom Festival

I choose Hanami Festival for my e-wallpaper assignment. This festival is from Japanese (Cherry Blossom Festival).

Hanami (花見, lit. "flower viewing") is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers, "flower" in this case almost always meaning cherry blossoms or ume blossoms. From the end of March to early May, sakura bloom all over Japan.The blossom forecast (桜前線 sakurazensen, literally cherry blossom front) is announced each year by the weather bureau, and is watched carefully by those planning hanami as the blossoms only last a week or two. In modern-day Japan, hanami mostly consists of having an outdoor party beneath the sakura during daytime or at night. Hanami at night is called yozakura (夜桜, literally night sakura). In many places such as Ueno Park temporary paper lanterns are hung for the purpose of yozakura.

A more ancient form of hanami also exists in Japan, which is enjoying the plum blossoms (梅 ume) instead. This kind of hanami is popular among older people, because they are more calm than the sakura parties, which usually involve younger people and can sometimes be very crowded and noisy.

Change the eye color!!

Okay today i wanna teach y'all something. Let's change the eye color to whatever you like.

First, open up the Photoshop.

Click "File", click "Open" and choose your pictures.

The window will look like this.

Next you have to create a new layer. At the Layer window, right click at the layer, and click "Duplicate Layer".

It will pop out this.

Just rename it to "eye color". And click "OK".

The Layer window will go like this. A new layer has been created.

Zoom your pictures to the eye.

After that use the "Quick Selection Tool". Select the both eye perfectly.

Click "Image", "Adjustments", click "Hue/Saturation".

A new window will pop out like this.

Make sure that the "Colorize" is checked. And adjust the hue, saturation, and lightness to make a new color you want.

For me i want to change it to blue color. After done adjusting, click "OK".

Click the "Quick Selection Tool" first. And then, right click at the eye. Click "Deselect".

Here's the result. Hooray! Happy Photoshoping~ =]

Hello there, today i'm gonna teach the most important function in Photoshop called "Layer".

First, open up the Photoshop.

Click "File", and then click "New".

Choose how many pixel, in this tutorial i just choose 600x600 pixel for the height and width. And then click "OK".

It will look like this.

To create a new layer, click "Create a new layer" at the Layer window.

A new layer has been created

Now using "Ellipse Tool", create the first circle by selecting the layer 1 and color it with yellow. Next create the second circle by selecting the layer 2 and color it with blue.

Use "Move Tool" to drag the blue circle on the top of the yellow circle.

Now in the Layer window, try drag down below the "Layer 1"

As the result we can see that now the yellow circle is top of the blue circle. Finally, the shape with layering is done!
