This garden does not use any chemical pesticides or fertilizers on its tea plants whatsoever.

Benefits of Oolong(Wulong)Tea:

Burn more calories than green tea

Reduce fattening effects of carbs

Clarify skin

Reverse signs of aging

Promote healthy teeth

Strengthen immune system

Enhance mind-body wellness

100% natural and nourishing

Is Phuket safe? Phuket people friendly?

Most travelers comment on the friendliness and hospitality of Phukets. It really is exceptional.
Phuket is not only friendly, it is one of the safest place worldwide and absolutely safe to travel to any part of the country. They are polite and helpful.

Even though Phuket is relatively safe, you had to be aware of pickpockets in crowded tourist area. I had met one during the vegetable festival trying to approach me but I kept avoid him.

Another thing is "Dont ever insult Buddha or the King", in fact you must bow to them. Thai people praise the King and Buddha. I think you had heard a news recently that a foreigner was sentence to life when he insult the King poster. So taking this advice we had a wonderful experience with the Thai People.

Many governments post detailed security notices on the Internet. These are useful reading if you are concerned about safety when you travel:

- UK Foreign & Commowealth Office
- Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://phuket-muay-thai.jinjinblog.com/2007/06/is-phuket-safe-phuket-people-friendly.html' title='Is Phuket safe? It is believed that the vegetarian festival and its accompanying sacred rituals bestow good fortune upon those who religiously observe this rite. During this time, local residents of Chinese ancestry strictly observe a 10-day vegetarian or vegan diet for the purposes of spiritual cleansing and merit-making. Sacred rituals are performed at various Chinese shrines and temples and aesthetic displays such as walking barefooted over hot coals and ascending ladders with bladed rungs are performed by entranced devotees known as "Ma Song".

The best time to visit Phuket is during this period where you can experience their culture very much.

<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" The beaches are a great place to lie in the sun, swim in the clean water and then have a massage. Beach massage as offered on Phuket is not traditional Thai massage but is a body therapy designed to relax. Thai women sit under shade umbrellas and will give a one hour oil massage for under 300 baht.

Massage in Phuket is a great way to relax after a long day of diving, touring or sailing. Massage is an ancient and traditional form of healing derived from Ayurvedic medicine and a Thai massage in Phuket is incredibly inexpensive compared to the west; after an hour session you will feel relaxed and rejuvenated. On the other side, some massage parlours will offer you special massage or Happy Ending (naughty).

Spoil yourself with a traditional Thai massage to soften those travel aches

Massage shops in Phuket are found all over the island but are more concentrated in the tourist areas such as Patong and Kata. The Nai Harn area also has a large number of massage places, many of which also have saunas on site. Massage in Phuket Town is more concentrated at the larger spas. These tend to be more expensive but the cost of a massage usually includes a spa and herbal sauna as well. All of Phuket’s beaches are dotted with small beachfront massage stalls. There is something special about receiving a therapeutic Thai massage while staring out at the white sands and deep blue Andaman Sea.

A massage in Phuket usually costs about 200 baht per hour at one of the smaller, out of the way shops and can go as high as 1000 baht for the full royal treatment at one of the upmarket health spas. On the beach, expect to pay 300-350 baht an hour – there are plenty of ladies wandering up and down the beachfront offering these under the shade of the trees.

There are several different types of massage available that focus on different forms of relaxation and healing. The main types of massage in Phuket are:

Thai Massage: derived from Indian Ayurvedic and Chinese healing techniques, Thai massage aims to balance and re-align the body’s natural energies. A typical Thai massage lasts for two hours, during which the therapist will use pressure points and stretching techniques to increase energy flow along key pathways in the body to relax, rejuvenate and heal you. Although some of the stretches resemble professional wrestling holds, you will leave with a great feeling of well-being throughout your entire body.

Swedish Massage: also called oil massage, Swedish massage in Phuket is a blend of long strokes, tapping, kneading and friction to increase oxygen flow to the muscles and release toxins. The aim is to stimulate the nervous system and soothe feelings of stress using therapeutic oils. It can be a really sensual experience and is generally more sedate than a Thai massage.

Shiatsu/Acupressure: derived from Chinese and Japanese healing techniques, Shiatsu massage in Phuket uses the principles of chi-gong (quigong) to stimulate the flow of energy through the major pathways of the body.

Reflexology – foot massage: this style of massage is based on the idea that there are reflex points in the hands and feet that correspond to every point in the body. It is believed that the entire body can be affected by stimulating these points. Reflexologists use pressure, kneading and friction to promote general good health.

There are countless massage parlours spread all over Phuket Island, in all of the main areas. Older women tend to be the most skilled masseuses and places with a young, attractive staff out front usually offer more than a traditional massage.

Food and Restaurant

There are a lot of options there in Phuket. They train you whenever they are available. All are champion and fighter with good records. I started with my stance, jab, punch, and kicking. Later on, they put me to sandbag to condition my shin. I decided to spend 10 days for Muay Thai training in Phuket. 10 days is not enough to master the skill but is enough for the exposure. The best time to visit Phuket is during the October. It is a sunny month with some rain. So, it is neither too hot or wet. Besides, the annual major event Vegetarian festival is fall on that month. The fest last for 10 days too. It is a Chinese celebration. Every temple, streets and town are having celebration. There are direct flight to Phuket international airport and most people able to speak English.

All training at the camp is done outdoors under a large cover, the camp has 2 full size rings, 16 heavy bags and small weight area and speed bag.

Where is Phuket

Capital: Phuket city
Area: 543.0 km² Ranked 75th
Inhabitants: 287,587 (2004) Ranked 68th
Pop. density: 529.63 inh./km² Ranked 6th
ISO 3166-2: TH-83
Governor: Niran Kanlayanamit (since November 2006)

Phuket (Thai: ภูเก็ต; formerly known as Tha-Laang or Talang) is one of the southern provinces (changwat) of Thailand. Neighbouring provinces are (from north clockwise) Phang Nga and Krabi, but as Phuket is an island there are no land boundaries. The island is served by Phuket International Airport, located in the north of the island. The ph of "Phuket" is an aspirated "p", so the name is pronounced (roughly) "Poock-get". The name Phuket is apparently derived from the word bukit in Malay which means mountain or hill, as this is what the island appears like from a distance.

Before that its old name was Ta-lang (in Thai): The word is derived from the old Malay "Telong" which means "Cape", which is still in use for one of the main districts in the Phuket area.

Map of Phuket:

Why Phuket?

Hi,

Having been travelled to lots of places, Phuket is a wonderful places which make me consider as a second home.
