Quality & Safety Manager

Hybrid Turkeys, an international turkey breeding company, is seeking a Quality & Safety Manager.

The position is responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance with the internal and external quality & safety programs, as well as applicable legislation. The main job functions will include:

Implementation & coordination of HAACP and other quality assurance programs
Overall execution ,coordination and implementation of health and safety activities
Proactively looking for improvements and corrective measures of internal processes
Conducting quality & safety audits (internal and third party)

This position will manage all quality & safety activities and initiatives for the company.

A community college or university degree in agriculture and/or animal science is required for this position. Formal training in quality or safety programs would be considered an asset. The ideal candidate is someone who is conscientious, highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable to change and able to work with people on many levels.

Major responsibilities include training & supervision of employees, feed ordering, scheduling and overall adherence to Biosecurity, Animal Welfare, Quality Practices and breeding program procedures. This is a hands-on managerial position working in a team environment.

A community college or university degree in agriculture and/or animal science is required for this position. The ideal candidate is someone who has excellent interpersonal skills, is highly organized, adaptable to change and able to work with people on many levels.
