Boston Pizza Eats.

2012-06-17T00:06:00.002-07:00

Boston Pizza is one of my favourite restaurants to go to @ Burnaby. I've been there with my best friend Jenny since grade 10 and now we are 20 years old.

In our recent visit we found out our favourite BP at Burnaby will be closed down forever on June 30th 2012 due to renovations at Station Square.

These are some of the dishes we had:

Home Style Lasagna $15.49

One of the best lasagna I've had. Its filled with ricotta, Parmesan, ground beef, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, and spices topped with pizza mozzarella. When you cut in to it, everything just oozes out. Thinking about it just makes me so hungry.

Thai Chicken Bites (appetizer) $9.99

These are the bomb.com Its spicy, sweet, and just gives my taste buds a dance party.

Goat Cheese Spinach Dip $9.99

Lots of restaurants are famous for their Cheesy Artichoke Spinach Dip, but Boston Pizza has this!
Its super delicious, but one thing the spices on the bread is horrible!

Chicken Parmesan $19.49

It comes with a plate of noodles or fries, garlic bread and a fresh spring salad; a pretty good deal, I must say. The chicken was juicy, tasty, and cheesy. Definitely a yum in my tum moment.

Spicy Italian Penne $15.49

One of the reasons I always got this, is not because its super delicious but the portions of this dish is enormous. Honestly, the only spicy thing in this dish is the sausage. If you don't spicy, you can always replace the sausages with shrimps or extra chicken. Just tell your server!

Oven Roasted Wings (Starter Size) $10.99

The wings are a must try at Boston Pizza. We got the Honey Garlic Wings with honey garlic dipping sauce. HONEY GARLIC OVERLOAD, I know. But its heaven! Juicy, tender, delicious wings :)

FINALLY THERE'S DESSERT...

Bite Sized Chocolate Brownie Addiction $3.29

It was my birthday, so this was free! The best brownie I've ever tasted, its warm, and chocolatey. It comes with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and some whip cream drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce.

I would definitely go back before it closes and when it closes I will venture to a different BP!

This song is creepy and stalkerish....

2012-05-29T13:26:00.000-07:00

Have you ever heard a song and thought to yourself " WOW those lyrics are fucking creepy?"

I did!!!! Its, Invisible by Clay Aiken

Its not the whole song that makes it sound creepy, but the first two lines of the chorus.

"If I was invisible
And I could just watch you in your room"

Seriously.... self explanatory.. *Double face-palm*

Wil Wheaton

2011-11-07T01:23:00.000-08:00

So, if you are reading this post.. you will notice the widget I recently added... I just wanted you guys to do me a small favor. Demand Wil Wheaton to Vancouver BC Canada. You know Wil Wheaton, he played Wesley Crusher on the TV series Star Trek: The next generation or you might've remembered him as Gordie Lachance in the film Stand By Me, and recently in a hit CBS comedy Series; The Big Bang Theory!

He also is an amazing author. His Short stories are amazing. In my opinions kids in high schools should read them. He also writes amazing books!

DO ME A FAVOR AND DEMAND WIL WHEATON TO VISIT VANCOUVER. I WANT TO MEET HIM.

Random Thoughts of the day.

2011-10-27T21:30:00.000-07:00

Happened today when I was on the skytrain and the train was PACKED! I was standing around and the first thing that came to mind was...

``HOLY FUCK EVERYONE IS EITHER ON THEIR, BLACKBERRIES, IPHONES, ANDROIDS OR TABLETS.``

I was chuckling inside.

METROTOWN F21 CHICK IS FUCKING COCKY.

2011-10-10T17:11:00.000-07:00

The Title says it all.

Chick shot my mom a dirty look when she zoomed in to the fitting room.
No my mom wasn't trying on clothes, she wanted to see my outfit.
Cocky chick told my mom in a cocky tone "Next Time wait for me and then you can come in"
I'm no fashionista and I wore something wrong and my mom wanted to help me fix it cause Im noob like that.
Cocky Chick " Sorry but we only allow one person inside the fitting room"
This never happened @ any other store or even the F21 at Richmond.
FUCK U COCKY CHICK.
I went on to tweet about this on twitter and it seems like other people are agreeing with me that F21 staff are cocky there. If I ever go back and encounter that chick again, I'm gonna give her a piece of my mind. Whatever happened to "Customers are always right?"
At Least H&M is opening in a few days and everyone is gonna go to H&M and F21 can rot in hell.
End Rant.

Update: Forever 21 in America is way better. Its bigger and the clothes are way nicer!

Tanner Glass answered my question!

2011-09-08T16:16:00.000-07:00

The Fan Zoo Started a "Ask a Hockey Hero Series" recently. The first guest was Tanner Glass! It's basically a Q&A session. We got to ask questions on Facebook directed to Glass. So I decided why not? I didn't know if they would choose my question and they did! YAY! My question for Tanner was Are you still wearing your scrabble t-shirt?

and he answers.. scroll to 2:35 or just watch the whole thing! My twitter buddy @DavidRthomson got his question answered too!

This makes my day! Have a great season with the Jets, Tanner! I'll be cheering for you!

Mission Failed

2011-08-30T04:21:00.000-07:00

I would like to say, I failed my mission of leaving twitter/Facebook for 4 days. I only lasted a day. I don't think I can live without twitter. I miss tweeeting about my fave shows Warehouse 13, Rizzoli and Isles, and The Lying Game today.

The next Hiatus will be when all you comment on my post and bet with me or someone offering me $$ to do it. Because I can't do it!

Twitter I'm using you again ;)
I'm back, whether you like it or not!

Hiatus On.

2011-08-29T22:14:00.000-07:00

August 29 2011: Day 1

I woke up pretty late, so pretty much half of the day was gone. I actually couldn't help myself but go on Facebook.. I didn't tweet or look at people's timeline! That's pretty much a success for twitter! Still got to work on Facebook. As of right now I feel kind of lost without twitter.. (no lifer right here)
3 days to go.

Guess What?

2011-08-29T04:59:00.000-07:00

Ive decided to go on a 4 day twitter/facebook hiatus! Mainly because I want to see how I respond to it, seeing as I'm pretty much a twitter addict. All I do is tweet tweet no matter what. I really hope I don't cheat or anything. My twitter/facebook hiatus means no tweeting or updating facebook statues, and no reading peoples timeline at all. So, the next four days I won't know anything going on in the world, and people won't know anything going with me. (Not that people care or anything)

This is totally a challenge for me, even when I was on vacation I tried to find wifi to tweet my adventures! And now I'm on hiatus during the US Open, this is going to be super hard. No tweeting about Djokovic or Isner and how they are advancing to the second round ahhhhh....

I won't be able to tweet about big brother and how Shelly is being bitch or Vienna from the Bachelor doing the same thing. No Retweets of Biznasty's funny tweets. I won't be able to find out about those funny Bieber trending topics.

Why 4 days?
Because when I'm done it will be Friday and I'll be able to do #FF's.. I always do them except for this one time. I have to #FF my fave @AspiringMedia or my other fave @LTLband.

I think I can do it.. I mean its only twitter.. I still have tumblr, youtube, and blogspot.. Easy peasy its only four days... pft Ill prove people wrong and most importantly prove myself wrong.

I won't even go on twitter or facebook if it was the biggest emergency ever. So if you need to find me comment on my post..

I'll even try to keep a diary going on for four days and post it up after my hiatus is done..
It really feels like I'm going to rehab...

BYE TWITTER AND FACEBOOK UNTIL NEXT TIME

P.S. I DID SHUT OFF MY ECHOFON, TWITTER ON MY PHONE AND EVERYTHING

Hello, Im back again.

2011-08-15T02:16:00.000-07:00

Canada Day

2011-07-06T22:33:00.000-07:00

I actually had a great Canada Day this year!
The first thing I did was head to downtown and did some shopping.
It was a kinda day where I did a ton of walking.... We headed down to Canada Place around 3pm. There were a ton of people. First stop we saw a magic show, it was amazing! I always wanted to know how the magic works and I guess I will never find out, unless I sleep with the magician or learn my own MAGIC.

After the magic tricks, we walked around the area and saw some navy stuff, food stands (mmmm authentic poutine that I did not get). Which I totally regret. I want some quality poutine, or any poutine right now. Nom Nom Poutine, if this was twitter there would be a poutine bot retweeting me.

You know what I realize in events like these, theres always a few tables that offer free things and theres a always a huge lineup waiting for these free things. EVERYONE LOVES FREE STUFF CEPT ME ON A SUNNY HOT DAY. While everyone was lining up for their free MOTT's or free pictures at the photo booth. I was enjoying some live music and my favorite local band played!

Things I did that was caught on camera:
Took pictures of the cauldron (It was lit for Canada Day)

Cauldron all lit up for the city to see.

Took pictures of my little brother Kevin

Kevin and The Cauldron

Some Landscape Shots

And Finally some Louder Than Love pics!!

My pictures are alright but if you see them live its even better.

My favorite local band performed! ( Louder Than Love)

It was my first time seeing them perform live and guess what they were amazing. Not being bias or anything Even my brother agreed and hes a pretty big deal. (Haha not really) But seriously hear them play live, your mind will be blown away. I even got some clips of them play live, but my camera is horrible so sound quality is bad. Therefore no videos will be up, so seeing them play live is your best bets. I will link down below their future concert dates, twitter, facebook, and band page and you can check them out!

Well thats the end of my blog. Im still a newbie blogger and learning and my grammar is still pretty much crap, bear with me. PLEASE

I've only found out about them 6 months ago, when they started to follow me on twitter. My first reaction " WOW a band is following me" I'm so following back. After that I went on their main page and listen to their music.

2 months ago I decided to buy both of their Cd's, "Coming Around' & "Dark Days"

Yes, I actually bought some Cd's! I haven't done that since buying a Faber Drive CD back in 2008. I know I can always get their songs on amazon or Itunes, But I wanted a hard copy! Also I want to support the guys! But seriously their music is amazing and if you are reading this give them a try. It won't hurt to try something new!

By the way, they have a new single out called "Longer Road". Its a great song and one of my new favorites! Its free to download, but if you want to pay just type however much $$$ you're paying. Link is down below. Press it, Download it, hear it! Simple as that.

Whitecaps FC

2011-04-23T04:56:00.000-07:00

I admit it, I've only been a full supporter of the Whitecaps FC this year when their countdown videos and advertisement were everywhere. I always wanted to go to a game even when they were playing at Swangard Stadium and they weren't part of the MLS yet. I finally got to go this year and I was super stoked about it! So far I've been to 3 and every game gets better and better.

This was Opening Day WhitecapsFC vs Toronto FC pregame warm up.

Ceremony, Steve Nash and Christy Clark was there.

We ended up winning 4-2 over Toronto FC... History has been made. The next game I went to was against Sporting Kansas City. That was one of the most exciting games I've ever been too. We were down 3-0 at one point and tied the game in extra time. There's one thing I got to say, real fans stay till the end of the game and watch everything even if your team is winning or losing.

Our Mascot Spike the blue jay

Whitecaps FC vs Sporting KC pregame warm ups

And finally I went to the Whitecaps FC vs Chivas USA game last week. The final score was nil-nil. Each team had their chances but nothing would go in. It was my first time sitting near The Southsiders and let me tell you they are loud and proud. The whole game we watched the game standing up. It was actually a better view standing up. This game was my little brother's favorite game particularly because he got to meet Terry Dunfield and Ashleigh McIvor (2010 Ski Cross Gold Medalist). We also got to touch the gold medal with our bare hands and yes it is indeed really heavy.

I really recommend going to a game.. Its affordable cheapest tickets are $20 with Ticketmaster charges around $28. Like the dudes sitting behind me a couple games back "Going to 3 Whitecaps FC game = 1 upper bowl Canucks Game" The atmosphere is amazing and Vancouver seem to be always sunny when the Whitecaps FC play.

Next up: Whitecaps FC vs FC Dallas Today @ Empire Field 4pm
Be sure to tune in on Sportsnet.

We never lost at home and I'm pulling for a 1-nil win!

Go Whitecaps Go!

WE'RE BLUE WE'RE WHITE WE'RE FUCKING DYNAMITE!
