What and amazing way to celebrate Leap Year this February. Sara Friend of Fete Nashville, Michelle Sol of Burlap and Brooches Events and Dana Patel of Sambuca Nashville put on a wonderful event to show off Sambuca’s Sky Loft Lounge. We were very honored to be asked to be one of the sponsors at this party.  When your looking for a place to hold your wedding rehearsal dinner, small corporate party or really anything this is the place ( We actually had our rehearsal dinner there and it was Yummy). When this wonderful couple won the Her Perfect Day contest from Her Nashville Magazine bride to be Jessica Sneed called Picture this Nashville and booked us for her wedding. We remember the day we actually met Jessica Sneed and Gordon Olson at a show we were doing and we knew right then the fun we would have with them and boy were we right. We just got this review from Jessica so we thought we would share that and some photos as well.

Ryan’s mother Heather contacted us 20 minutes after The Mitzvah Market published their blog naming Picture This photo booth the Mitzvah Find of that issue. She was so excited to have found us and loved the idea of our custom guestbooks. Ryan’s theme was sports and with the wonderful design help from Tariko at Picture this Whimzy we designed the perfect screen to fit in with his theme.  When the event was over we asked Heather  few a few words to describe our services and this is what she wrote.

Working with Elaine on this event was fantastic.  She is personally available to assure and reassure you that everything will go perfectly, and it did!  My guests (of all ages) loved dressing up and taking silly pictures all night.  I am a photo book fanatic, so I can’t wait to get my guest book with the notes, portraits and fun shots.  I know it will be a wonderful keepsake. After reading about us being a Mitzvah Find on a blog called the Mitzvah Market  The Lantzman family contacted us to work with them on their daughter Macen’s Bat Mitzvah. Macen’s theme was social media. Everything had a  pink Macebook logo on it to go with the Facebook craze. We recently got this review from the family on our services and wanted to share it:

“We were looking for an entertainment option that was interesting, unique and sure to provide fun to all of our guests. Most events in our area include a photo option where the guests are able to take pictures with their friends and family and have their photos placed in different frames. Our favorite part of the options provided by Picture This Nashville  & Picture This Touch were the ability of our guests to be able to e-mail the pictures they took to themselves, which we thought went great with the Macebook theme, and the photo album that we will receive where each of our guests were able to write a message to Macen and have that message be printed in a photo album next to a picture of that guest. As a result, we elected not to have a traditional sign-in board and when Macen looks at her album ten years from now, she will be able to see and remember who each guest was at her Bat Mitzvah. All of our guests, adults and kids alike, loved  the ladies from Picture This Nashville & Picture This Touch and had a lot of fun posing for their photo shoots. We were so excited to meet our featured bride Erika at a wedding show in Nashville, TN. She is just one of the happiest people and it was our pleasure to work with her on big day. Speaking with some of their guests we heard such wonderful things about the 2 of them that we wanted to write a little about our experience with them as well.

We pulled up to Historic Rock Castle on the day of the wedding and were greeted by one of the groomsman asking  “Are you here for Mac’s wedding?” My associate and I looked at each other in confusion and asked is Mac marrying an Erika? Whew thank goodness he said yes. We were in the right place.

You see when we asked Erika what her grooms name was for our records she told us his name is Gordon so we couldn’t help being confused. We found out later Gordon is known to his friends and family as Mac and that was the beginning of an amazing day.

Meet Erika & Mac – Aren’t they Cute?

Mac and Erika met in 8th grade and dated for about 7 years before getting engaged. They had their outdoor theme wedding on a beautiful November day at Historic Rock Castle in Hendersonville, TN.

We asked Erika why they went with Picture This Nashville instead of a more traditional booth and here is what she said:

We decided to go with Picture This Nashville because we cherish pictures. They are the only thing you have from your special day and they can be displayed throughout your home for years. So, by using Picture This Nashville I could capture more memories and with the beautiful guestbooks they offer we get all our guests pictures and messages plus all the photo booth pictures in one place. I didn’t have to get a separate guestbook that would never make it out of a storage box.
