Brick Force Review

Brick Force is indie style MMOFPS published by Infernum. Much similar to Minecraft, I guess they have made it exclusively for the free to play community. There are obvious changes to the original concept of Minecraft, for example, it is exclusively FPS in terms of gameplay. As for the companies involved that made it possible seems to pick up players fast. Of course I'm not saying that this game was taken off from Minecraft although it does resemble it to some extent. This would be considered to be unique in some ways, the graphics are obviously modernised and improved compared to other 8-bit style games.

League of Legends: Dota Rip off?

League of Legends is a dota style free to play MMO published by mobafire, offering a mass community with a world wide appeal. As many of the MMO gamers know, it is based on the whole Dota aspect however, with improved mechanics of the original. League of legends has been widely accepted by gamers to still be a unique MMO as it is free to play with epic champions. As we undergo this review, keep in mind that moba does fully support Dota and so the developers themselves have accepted League of Legends. Moba first introduced this game in 2007, during the release, much work had to be done, many champion balancing issues and interface glitches, however recieving support from the community allowed the game to stabalise. Other similar games that are Dota style is of course Heroes of Neweth which is slightly less popular than League of Legends.

Army Rage

Army Rage is a free online FPS published mainly by Yacuba Games offering a very wide spread free roam battlefield of mayhem. As for the company, it seems that they have first published this game in Korea although no surprise there. One of the first game that was published in the late 2011, could be considered as a 2012 game. It truly amazing to see such massive maps, have not seen as much freedom since Warrock although now Warrock has been degrading ever since. As for Yacuba game, very oddly I have noticed that the logo is actually from an anime character called "Reborn", quite weird to be copying the character however; I do not think the anime has copyrighted the character. Anyway, back to main topic, Army Rage seems to be the first game FPS game Yacuba has published. As far as I played this game, seems to offer a wide spread, free roam and very large maps enough for a MASS battle. An epic shooter to compliment, and so to explain in full depth, below are my opinions.

Infinity Ward have become the name that most people would associate first person shooters with, why? To those people who don't know, well it's because of their epically successful first person series Call of Duty: Modern warfare. The first and second instalments were massively successful selling together approximately 23 million copies world-wide to this day. This massive success has been reflected in the latest and last game in the series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 which was released on 8 November 2011. Like the previous Call of Duty games it has an online multiplayer mode and the equally amazing single player campaign.

Halo Reach

Halo Reach is last Halo game to be made by Bungie, who are due to the success of the game, one of the most successful game developers of all time. Halo Reach is a prequel to the original trilogy which helps you to delve into the background of the Spartans and the war between the Human race and The Covenant, a group of alien races joined to one cause. However before you read this review and are thinking of buying Halo: Reach, I suggest that you should buy the previous games. Failing that I advised that you at least Halo: 3. If you do you will have a deeper understanding of the hugely beautiful campaign and narrative that Halo instils into the gamer.

King of Kings 3 is a free to play MMORPG published by gamingo, a moderately popular company as they are in fact known for publishing MMORPG's. King of Kings 3 brings a totally new experience to the typical MMO's out there with no originality. Tremendously amazing view of the world as you can zoom in to 3rd person or zoom right out showing the overview of the landscape. King of Kings 3 is mainly known for the popularity in Guild activities. PVP plays a big part in this and so is extremely popular with many players who have practically played for years. As for the company's reputation, they have made many new games which are in fact very popular. It is amazing to see this game and actually enjoy. Hopefully this review will tell you many good aspects of this game and change your mind on how it is played. For those people who think this game is very inadequate are ignorant as they have not played the game to it's fullest. Despite many people appreciating this game for what they bring in the MMO world, many who have not even played this game are already critisising it which is very unfair. It truly is amazing to see the amount of work done to this game, very frequently updated to fix many of the games' bugs and errors.

Project Blackout is a MMOFPS made by SG Interactive offering the best experiences with shooter, with slight resemblance of Counter Strike; it is starting to get quite popular. Many other shooters out there love the engine of Counter Strike but there are always differences between them. Gun designs are quite unique rather than others, slight graphic changes with screen filter which is nicely done. The overall HUD resembles KOS operations but apart from that, Project Blackout is pretty imitations with many tweaks, this can sometimes be a good thing towards gamers as you can rank before the game get’s popular. In this review the gameplay and graphics will be talked about and later given a rating out of 10.

Poxnora is a turn by turn tactical MMORPG made by Sony, similar to Dofus except the gameplay times are considerably longer. Poxnora gives a new experience to tactical games as they treat your spawns as "cards" which most games do not do. Poxnora is unique in itself just by the name, I have been observing the development of Poxnora and up until now is a big improvement. Quite surprisingly, the game is made by Sony entertainment which you don't see everyday. It's hard to believe a console developer is developing a free to play game. As we all know Sony is very successful so I do not have to go in detail about their history and how good they are at developing games. The unique concept of "cards" has got me interested as I could just be a collector though that would be very boring and not have a purpose in the game. What I like most is the "meaning" of the game as you can choose to play a ranked match or just a training match where you nothing to lose. The game itself has an in-depth story about each side of the game. As it is an extremely popular company, premium cards are always the winners to be fair, though for free to play users would not lose that easily.

Perfect World is an International MMORPG game made by Perfect World offering an amazing range of gameplay. The overall graphics is an amazing considering it's quite a dated game, but does not mean it is not popular. The gameplay is very standard as many typical 3D MMO's have it, but the most unique aspect of this game is the diverse choice of character customisation. This game has been famous for it's variety of choices but with many perks to this game, there are always flaws. In this review I will be talking about the gamplay and graphics of this game.

Operation 7 is an MMO FPS game made by fiaa(Europe) and Netgame(International) offering a unique shooter which has a Call of Duty feel to it. Not very popular as the game relies of player hosting and not server hosting which puts many players off, because those with not a good internet connection lag many times. Most unique aspect of this game is that you can make your own gun from scratch, where as other shooters give you a ready made gun. Most common things such as gameplay and graphics will be reviewed and then have a rating out of 10.

Mythwars Online 2

Mythwar 2 Online is a turn-by-turn 2D/2.5D game made by IGG offering a different side to many of the other MMO's out there. Mythwar as you can tell has gone a long way as it has made a sequel of the original one. I have to say the original had so many improvements to be done such as translation, general movement bugs etc. During beta was at its peak of performance in the number of gamers in Mythwar 1 online, but slowly started to "die" out which is why a sequel just had to be made. Mythwar is unique in its own way as this is the only MMO that has a sequel which is quite surprising. As you can tell, I have been with Mythwar since the start of the game so looking at it now, is a big improvement. The main website looks as all MMO sites do, has a fantasy theme, which actually help new players as information is given on how to play the game. So as all fans know, I will be reviewing this game out of gameplay and graphics out of 10.

MicroVolts is a 3rd person toy shooter made by Rockhippo Productions offering the best online experience to enjoy and laugh. The general graphics is cartoony which is starting to get really popular now a days. The most enjoyable aspect of this inclides the sound tracks and special effects, which is really funny. This game is very fair as many factors have a downside as well as an upside. Many weapons to play with on one game which is in my opinion fair as you can switch weapons any time. Though the system requirements are quite high, many computers are still able to run this game, which is why MicroVolts is getting increasingly popular as this is a new game. As many of you know I will be rating the gameplay and graphics out of 10.

Metin2 Online

Metin 2 is a 3D MMORPG game made by Z8 Games offering a unique experience from other MMORPG's. A unique style of gameplay showing a combo type gameplay as you can decide whether to hit using the spacebar button. Well the combo system is good and all but still lacks a great deal like introduction to the game, foreign skills like alchemy or other types. Z8 games is ultimately is known for a shooter called Crossfire which is getting extremely popular but not prioritising with Metin 2, if the game is developed more I think it would be very successful. Considering this game was made in 2007, I think it should greatly improved with the graphics and gameplay altogether. Though one thing that made me want to play this game is it's very quick questing system which I will be reviewing later on. Metin 2 has given originality unlike World of Warcraft clones but Z8 has truly made a unique game.

Knight Online is by Gamersfirst offering an MMORPG gameplay, the most unique aspect of this game is definitely how you play this game, as it is quite an "active" game especially in PVP areas. The unique aspect of this game is that some of the skills are in 2D which is quite retro but gives a unique look to it. The graphics of this game are really quite old but remember that it is a dated game, but for some reason, each server is extremely populated. The popularity of any game means that people play this on a regular basis. In this review I will just be talking about the gameplay and graphics and come up with a conclusion of rating out of 10.

Karma online is a 3D MMO FPS game made by joymax set in the WW2, which shows you an insight to WW2 guns, scenaries and real battle grounds. Joymax to start off is a reasonably popular company as they published Silk road which is a popular MMORPG. Since this was a relatively new game in 2011, I didn't think it would get popular in my opinion because what I would assume is that the genre it self is out dated or just not in fashion. For a free to play game, it offers many guns and costumes for free players, of course if you pay you would have a lot of benefits. I dont know the reason for releasing a WW2 style game but I noticed that some of the guns used was actually in Call of duty, this is where it all became clear. If you have played this thoroughly, you would notice that many aspects are from Call of duty, the aim down sight, sprinting, map creations and so on. I do not think they meant for me to compare it to a console game but it very much reminds me of it. Most of all I think Joymax has really out done themselves, as right now it is proving to be very popular at the moment. This game brings a classic feel to it but with upgraded graphics makes this game also new generation.

Gunz is a game made by ijji offering a unique third person shooter with many maneuvers you can use. Gunz is moderately popular but still needs working on as it was released in 2003. Very unique game as you can show off your skills through acrobatics which is a nice touch, the selection in guns are quite diverse. Many pros playing this game especially when someone performs the "butterfly" which means they have fully grasped the gameplay and animation. I'd say this is a really competitive and fast paced gameplay giving people no mercy.

Grand Fantasia

Grand Fantasia is 3D MMORPG game made by Ariagames offering a game much like Fiesta Online where it shows many aspects of the game such as the monster desgins. I'm not entirely sure if the game is made by the same engine but in many ways Grand Fantasia is different. Showing another anime types graphics which is still getting increasingly popular. An overall effect on the game is quite childish and gives a good atmosphere, in fact the game itself encourages people to make friends so it is more sociable than most games with limited chat. I like many features of the game such as sprites which actually introduces the pet system in the beginning of the game. Personally I think that this game is a bit simplistic for more of a young group rather than teens because games like these are usually played by much younger people. This game to be honest does not appeal to me as it lacks depth and originality of the game.

A game made by Outspark and one if it's first games. Through extreme advertising Fiesta has made it big in the gaming industry. With in a months time, thousands of players were all over this playing like they have never played before. The few aspects of the game will be reviewed such as the gameplay and graphics and not so much the story as many MMORPG's don't tend to work on the story or maybe many of the audience are not interested.

Eudemons is a 2D MMORPG made by TQ which is quite a popular destinations for those who have low spec PC's. The gameplay offers quite a unique feature as the main concept is to collect summons for you. This game does not require an amazing hours of playing and then get bored but on the way you can collect eggs, get social which in my opinion is quite a friendly game.

After certain changes to the game, Dofus has re-released the new features of the game and is currently being developed. As most of you gamers out there, this game is mainly for a younger audience however hardcore MMO gamers are welcome to try this game as well. It seems that Dofus needed to go through many changes, I'm wondering mainly because of many places being unable to fight monsters and the map itself is quite confusing. The main aspect that I find they still have not improved in is the introduction to the game. As I start to make a new character in the game, I find myself having trouble when trying to navigate around the map. Ankama is fairly an experienced company in developing games, therefore the changes should be good. Dofus seems to be full on when releasing updates to improve the content of the game. As some of you guys know, strategy is not exactly my way of playing, as a typical gamer, I feel the game lacks excitement and thrill which is needed to long appeal to any MMO's out there.

Dragonica Online

So let's start of by saying that Dragonica is a 2.5D side scroller fantasy rpg made by gpotato. In most cases I do not really make reviews for such game types as most side scrollers lack depth and the real sense of appeal. Gpotato to start off, is a very well known company as one of their games called Allods has won a joystick awards which is quite impressive for a free to play game, so this company is full on when it comes to publishing and developing a game. The side scroller is one of the few which I find quite limited in most games no matter how popular they are, in my opinion my ideal game is with a lot of depth to the story, gameplay and graphics. Needless to say Dragonica is an excellent game in its field and actually has some of the depth in the gameplay. As a beat 'em up hack'n slash game, the appeal is indeed very low as there is a lot of repitition in combat but certain alternatives of the objective can make it fun. Apart from Maplestory, it's the first time I have experienced playing a side scroller, and to compare this to Maplestory can make it really competetive so let's see what this game has in store for us.

Dark Throne is a browser based game made by Lazarus Software offering a strategical and calm gameplay between offense, defence and stealth. The aim is to have the biggest yet most secure economy and army. As you can tell it requires about 10-20 minuites of gameplay as the amount of things you can do is based on the number of turns. Through extreme advertising I think Dark Throne is really on it's way to popularity in-terms of browser based games. I have played Dark Throne since the start and I do have to say it has improved by miles as it is more fair in terms of race and class. As most of you know I will rating this game out 10 based on gameplay and graphics.
