Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
Psalm 139:7-10

So, You Think You're Tolerant?

In this video, Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report analyzes this question and shares his experience. Click here to take a brief survey about this video.

Heresy Revisited

2018-05-21T17:29:00.001-07:00

Old Universalistic Heresy

Everyone is raving about the sermon at the Royal Wedding, here it is in a nutshell - God is love, love is right and good, so love each other. Do you see the problem? Everyone knows we are supposed to love God with all our heart, mind soul and strength and our neighbor as ourselves, but we don't and can't. Apart from the transformative work of the Gospel and empowerment of the Holy Spirit we are unable to please God and frankly don't want to. Jesus was only mentioned as an example, not the cure. He is THE ONLY ONE who has or ever will live the life of love God requires. He is THE ONLY ONE who perfectly loved mankind enough to lay down his life as a sacrifice for our sin. Good luck with try-hard, moralistic religion, I prefer the Gospel. – Dr. Gary Cass Sadly there are people who ought to know the difference between biblical Christianity and old, discredited liberal theology defending Bishop Curry's sermon at the royal wedding. There are so many false assumptions and out right errors that you would hope people would see this is nothing new, it is the old, universalistic heresy. No, we are not all children of God. No, Jesus didn't die merely as an example of love. No, Jesus did not die for nothing. He died to redeem His people and has gained a name above every name, and the nations of the earth are His inheritance. I could go on, but here is the Bishops own words regarding same sex marriage, "Our commitment to be an inclusive church is not based on a social theory or capitulation to the ways of the culture, but on our belief that the outstretched arms of Jesus on the cross are a sign of the very love of God reaching out to us all." Dr. Gary Cass

Control the Words, Control the Culture

Control the Words, Control the Culture: The culture war is first and foremost a war of words - and the left is winning. The consequences can be seen everywhere: in politics, in education, in media. In this video, Michael Knowles, host of the Michael Knowles Show, explains why we should not cede another syllable.

The Inconvenient Truth About the Republican Party

2018-01-17T11:47:00.001-08:00

The Inconvenient Truth About the Republican Party: When you think of the Republican Party, what comes to mind? If you’re like many Americans, you may associate the GOP with racism, sexism, and general inequality. It’s a commonly pushed narrative by left-leaning media and academia, but as former Vanderbilt Professor of Political Science Carol Swain explains, the Republican Party was actually responsible for nearly every advancement for minorities and women in U.S. history—and remains the champion of equality to this day.

Perceptions

2018-01-04T10:31:00.003-08:00

It's amazing how perceptions can be so deceiving

I am amazed at how many people are blindly forming opinions about things when they don't really know the facts. They base their opinions, sometimes quite strong opinions, on what they have heard from others, politicians, news media, talk show hosts and hostesses, etc.

I am encouraged, however, that when they do hear the truth of a matter they are willing to rethink their preconceived ideas.

There is hope for America!

Because It's Right

2017-04-25T16:09:00.001-07:00

Four days before Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated he is recorded as saying,

"On some positions, cowardice asks the question - is it expedient?

And then expedience comes along and asks the question - Is it politic?

Vanity asks the same question - Is it popular?

Conscience asks the question - Is it right?

And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, not polite, not popular - but one must take it because it is right!

Kangaroo Court

2017-04-03T18:29:00.001-07:00

Just have to share this piece by James Webber dated April 1, 2017

Dr. George M. Stover Jr.

"Proof, Proof," you ask.

WARNING

Whatever you do, don't get trapped in the Atheistic kangaroo court.

(The name kangaroo court is a disdainful appellation for a judicial tribunal or assembly that blatantly disregards recognized standards.)
(Prejudicial bias of the decision-maker.)
(Such proceedings are often held to give the appearance of a fair and just trial, even though the verdict has in reality already been decided before the trial has begun.)
Consider:
Within Jury selection on a murder trial they ask a potential juror "Could you make a decision to convict on murder if the evidence merited such?" The juror responses by saying, "I do not believe in such a thing as the possibility of murder." Needless to say he would not be on the jury.
That's exactly what the thesis is up against in offering an atheist evidence. Like a kangaroo court its over before it starts.
In a normal court, if eye witness testimony does not exist, they rely on Circumstantial evidence.
(Circumstantial Evidence is also known as indirect evidence. It is distinguished from direct evidence, which, if believed, proves the existence of a particular fact without any inference or presumption required. Circumstantial evidence relates to a series of facts other than the particular fact sought to be proved. The party offering circumstantial evidence argues that this series of facts, by reason and experience, is so closely associated with the fact to be proved that the fact to be proved may be inferred simply from the existence of the circumstantial evidence.)
Since God's finger prints are to be seen throughout our existence, it becomes a point of fact for the theist.
If an Atheist is not willing to consider objective circumstantial evidence why even present it?
By concluding before hand there is no possibility of God, no evidence will be satisfactory.

On the other hand, when an Atheist dies and meets God and is shown all the circumstantial evidence it becomes undeniable that he should have perceived it.

Psalm 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
