There is not a lot of fish I like to eat or to prepare. One exception is salmon, which is a very eclictic fish. There are so many ways to cook salmon, either fresh, smoked or canned one. My favorite recipe is a combination of fresh salmon and smoked salmon, that's why I called it "Gratin with potatoes and two kinds of salmon".

Believing the stats, it is not just me who likes salmon. Within the first 24 hours this lens had almost 200 visitors, 13 comments, 23 ratings and an angel blessing from chefkeem. Thank you for this!

Watermelon Anyone

This morning we were out for shopping and we bought some fresh fruits and vegetables on a market close to our house. At the entrance of this market stood a small truck with a farmer selling watermelons. Seeing this heap of probably several hundred watermelons I thought it might be a good idea for a squidoo lens.
Watermelon is not just a tasty and refreshing fruit, you can also prepare a lot of other different dishes from it. There are a lot of recipes for watermelon salads but also cakes, soups or different desserts are made from watermelons. And did you pay attention how many products in watermelon design are produced.
