Cara Delevingne is one of my favorite models, she is from United Kindom and she is the sister of the it girl Poppy Delevingne. She has been the face of famous brands as Burberry, Thakoon, Rag & Bone, Jason Wu and Chanel among others. I really like her style because she is a cool relaxed girl, her style is really similar to mine: she loves wearing simple short dresses, skinny jeans, a leather jacket, tees, long hair and minimal make up. I bet she only wears mascara, brow liner and nude lipstick. Have you ever noticed that models have fabulous style?

Cara Delevingne es una de mis modelos favoritas, es de Reino Unido y es la hermana de la it girl Poppy Delevingne. Ella ha trabajado para varias marcas como: Burberry, Thakoon, Rag & Bone, Jason Wu y Chanel entre otras. Me gusta mucho su estilo porque se ve que es una chica muy cool y relajada y su estilo se parece mucho al mío: le gusta usar vestidos simples y cortos, skinny jeans, chamarras de piel, t-shirts sencillas, el cabello suelto y muy poquito maquillaje. Last Thursday I was invited to the Beauty Products Awards 2011 organized by the magazine Glamour Mexico. The event was amazing, everything was so beautiful, the decoration was full of pink details and the food was delicious. Many famous people were there drinking Moet and Cranberry Martinis. There were many pink flowers and oriental umbrellas hanging from the ceiling and a table full of delicious desserts. The winner products were from the brands: L'oréal Paris, Pantene, Nivea, Clinique, Mary Kay, Maybelline, Dove, Bobbi Brown and Clinique you can see the complete list here. I am very grateful to have been invited to this cocktail party.

El jueves pasado fuí invitada a los Premios de Belleza 2011 organizados por la revista Glamour México. El evento estuvo increíble, la decoración muy rosa y llamativa, la comida deliciosa. Había mucha gente famosa todos tomando Moet y martinis de Arandano. Había muchas flores rosas, sombrillas orientales colgadas en el techo y una mesa llena de postres deliciosos. For example if this lady is really lonely then he will try to be always with her so she doesn2t feel that way. Translating this to fashion, a casanova will normally dress in a relaxed but sexy way. Here are Robert Pattinson, Ed Westwick and Ryan Gosling as perfect examples of this personality. So why don't you give your boyfriend some fashion advice?

Ya que ví que les gusto mucho mi post acerca del libro de "El arte de seducir" de Robert Greene, decidí escribir acerca de la personalidad del "Casanova", este ser suele ser muy atractivo para las mujeres pues tiene la capacidad de cambiar su personalidad o su físico dependiendo del gusto de la mujer a la que esta conquistando. Son algo manipuladores porque siempre estan analizando a su "víctima" y viéndo qué es lo que le hace falta. Por ejemplo sí esta persona es muy solitaria, el trata de pasar más tiempo con ella para que no se sienta así. Traduciendo esto a la moda, el Casanova se vestiría de una manera muy relajada pero sin dejar de ser sexy. Ejemplos perfectos son: Robert Pattinson, Ed Westwick y Ryan Gosling. Then we went to a famous night club here in my city and took other pictures. Dresses are perfect for a girl's night out, mine was turquoise I love this color because it's really shinny. As I post in this month favorite book I'm reading "The Art of Seduction" by Robert Greene, it's an amazing book that shows you how famous people in history have win their power by seducing others. So I think it's interesting to relate this with fashion. It mentions 9 types of seducers (I will be talking about them later) one of them is the Siren, a woman like Cleopatra who gain her power by looking as a Goddess: use as many gold jewelry as you can, also dress like if you were from other world: having a unique and elegant hairstyle and don't forget about the make up.

Another type is "The Sexual Siren" who will be like Marilyn Monroe a combination of sexuality with innocence. She was an orphan so without any effort people wanted to protect her because she seem needy, but the combination of adventure and innocence was really her power. She had a gorgeous body with more weight than is used this days, but she wasn't fat she had everything in place. Use garments that look childish and feminine but insinuating strong sexuality.

Como puse en el libro favorito del mes, he estado leyendo el libro "El Arte de la Seducción" por Robert Greene. Me encanta este libro porque nos cuenta como personajes famosos ganaron su poder seduciendo a los demás. Así que pensé que es muy interesante relacionarlo con la moda. El libro nos habla acerca de 9 personalidades (de las cuales hablaré después). Uno de los personajes es "La Sirena" perfectamente personificado por Cleopatra. Para tener su estilo no olvides usar mucha joyería dorada, un peinado y maquillaje que sean únicos y elegantes. Su poder venía de que ella se sentía de verdad una Diosa, así que sientete una y reflejalo en tu vestimenta. Otro personaje es la "Sirena Sexual" ejemplificado por Marilyn Monroe, ella era una combinación entre inocencia y sexualidad, lo lograba de manera inconsciente porque era huerfana y era muy necesitada de cariño pero a la vez tenía un cuerpo sexy y voluptuoso (pero jamás gordo, siempre tenía todo en su lugar). Así que si quieres copiar su estilo sólo tienes que usar prendas que sean un poco inocente con un toque atrevido como algún escote.

Good girls go bad/mad all te time, they change their looks in order to appear stronger, I think this is the case of Rooney Mara, she had a sweet image and now she seems to be a dark/pollite/rebel. I like her style but sometimes I think it's too much. Not everybody looks great with black dark hair and pale complexion but I think she looks fantastic. Do you like this style?

It was an awesome trip specially for the weather, I got a nice tan and enjoyed hours and hours in the sea. What about you? What did you do for Christmas Dinner?

I'm a big fan of pyjamas and lingerie. Actually I love buying at Oysho, you can find there many different styles almost every month. For sleeping is so important to be comfortable, sometimes I just wear an old tee and a pair of shorts. What do you wear for sleeping? I post above how my perfect pyjamas will be: in gold and with leopard print, hope I can find something similar soon.

I have never shared with you some of my favorite beauty products, I think it's time. First we can start with beautiful skin; the best products for me are from the brand DDF, specially the glycolic 10% exfoliating moisturizer .

For make up I love Bobbi Brown for their foundations because they got yellow undertone that makes them more natural; specially the Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation in Beige . Mac Cosmetics for their blushes, my favorite one is the Powder Blush in Pinch O' Peach, I love this color is a natural pink that makes you look natural. Also I love Clinique for their fabulous lipsticks, recently I went to the Black and White party organized by Privalia and get the NEW Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Chunky Cherry and love it!

For perfumes I love Be delicious from Donna Karan because it makes me feel sweet, and when I want to feel sexy and confident I use Chance from Chanel, this one has been my favorite perfum since long ago.

My favorite body lotions are from Victoria's Secret, I love smelling good and having soft skin.

Nunca les he compartido acerca de cuáles son mis productos favoritos de belleza. Para empezar con una piel bonita me encantan los productos de DDF especialmente el glycolic 10% exfoliating moisturizer que te deja la piel hidradata y sin imperfecciones.

Para el maquillaje me encantan las bases de Bobbi Brown por tener tonos amarillos que las hacen ver más naturales, mi favorita es Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation en color beige.

Para los blushes me encanta Mac porque tienen mucho pigmento, mi favorito es Powder Blush in Pinch O' Peach que es un tono rosa muy bonito y natural.

Para los labiales recientemente en la fiesta Black and White de Privalia me regalaron el Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm en Chunky Cherry y me encantó porque es muy cómodo y fácil de usar.

Todos los días me dedico a escribir acerca de decoración de interiores y todos los tipos de iluminación que van de la mano con grandes diseños. Hoy voy a compartirles algunos espacios inspirados en ¡la moda! Como muchos de ustedes saben, en la alta moda hay muchos diseños dramáticos y piezas de alta calidad. ¡Espero lo disfruten!

Dior's Spring 2011 runway featured beautiful soft palette of cremes and pastels, with plenty of draped tulle and a bit of sparkle.

La colección de Dior Primavera 2011 mostraba hermosos colores pasteles, con tul drapeado y un poco de brillo. 

This bedroom was designed with Dior fashion in mind. Notice the soft pale blue, grey and crËme colors used through out the room, accented with long flowing drapes at the windows and canopy. The crisp lines are perfectly fitting with Dior's signature style.

Esta habitación fue inspirada por Dior. Pueden ver el color azul pastel, gris y otros colores crema usados a través de la habitación, acentuados con drapeados largos en las ventanas. 

Burberry's Fall 2011 collection really popped with bright 60's inspired colors, such as burnt orange, ochre and tobacco browns.

La colección Burberry Otoño 2011 nos mostró el lado colorido de los 60s usando naranjas, ocres y tabacos. 

Incorporating such bold colors, as seen on the Burberry runway might be intimidating, but if scattered about in key places, like curtains, throw pillows and blankets, a single standout color won't dominate the room. This cozy living room vignette uses vibrant burnt orange in just the right amount of accent pieces.

En la pasarela estos colores pueden resultar muy llamativos, pero si se colocan en lugares estrategicos como las cortinas, almohadas o manteles, solamente dan un toque de color.

Black and White Party

I'm really excited to introduce you the Mexican Blogger's community, last Thursday we were invited to the "Black and White party" organized by Privalia Mexico (an amazing online store where you can find your favorite brands at fabulous prices, you can check it here). The dress code was black and white and everybody respect it. The night was full of joyful moments where we shared our point of view in the world of Fashion. I met many bloggers. Estoy muy emocionada de presentarles a la comunidad Mexicana de bloggers. El jueves pasado todos asistimos a la fiesta "Black and White" organizada por Privalia México (una tienda en línea dónde puedes encontrar tus marcas favoritas a precios muy accesibles pueden verla aquí). El dress code fue blanco y negro y todos los respetaron. Fue una fiesta muy divertida y con mucha moda en las conversaciones.
