Were you born a traveler? So am I, as I want to get to places every now and then to get a glimpse on everything that a woman haven’t seen yet or where you would always want to be. Traveling to many outside locations probably for a long vacation or let us just say, a simple weekend getaway can uplift our spirit, renewing us once again into a whole lot better being. And this makes a traveler in me said all these thoughts. But as what the cliché goes, “It feels good to be back at home” is always true. And that’s the reason why I have been eyeing on the Motor Homes since I was just a little girl.

Allow me to take you to what I call, “a traveler’s home”…

The way I perceive it makes me realize one thing that a comfortable traveler can find the right place for his/her comfort is the inside of a motorhome. I could see the benefits of owning one beyond the comfort it would ensure. As for me, owning a motorhome is definitely the right way to go especially when you often leave home to have fun. It indeed brings the outdoor life to your doorstep with the comforts and pleasure that you can get to experience inside your own home. Yes, all these are possible-to go wherever and whenever you want.

Vast improvements in motorhomes have been seen in the last 20 years. But I suggest that you get started in purchasing an older model first. A Motorhome FYI is not driven every day like cars. So it has a lesser chance to wear out easily.

Invisibly Invincible Work of Art

I stumbled upon this photo days ago and it seems that a movie of James Bond flashed back all of a sudden. I forgot the title of that James Bond series, but when I look at this picture, it resembles the car in the movie. The invisible feature of James Bond’s car made me wondered if there is such a thing like that in real life. I’ve actually been sent to my wild imaginations, thinking more of the “if’s”.

Oh well, going back to this art which I entitled, “Invisibly Invincible Work of Art” is no doubt a “head-turner”. I bet you didn’t know what model is this. It’s actually a Subaru WRX, which Benedict Radcliffe, the head of experimental design at the Glasgow Consultancy Stand has transformed into a wire frame outline. If you want to see it with your own naked eyes, you just have to pay a drop at the Paul Smith gallery. It sits outside Albemarle Street in London, England.

At the moment, I am still wondering how this artist came up with such a work of art. It’s almost invisible if without the lights. What do you think guys? It’s really awesome and I could even say “wow!” several times. You also find it great, don’t you? If you take a look at it at first glance, you might think that it also resembles a styling buck. Some of you may not believe that this is indeed a real deal.

You got to believe it; art has its own show-time, anyway. The man behind this art had his creative juices flowed into creating his own design. And look at his end product; it’s definitely an invincible work of art. It turned out to be a thing of beauty sourced out from scrap, underwent construction process, and finally a real head-turner driving machine.

Who Said Floppy Isn’t for Magnets?

It only took me a few years to grow up and finally get in touch with computers. Most of you are computer geeks too so you probably know what I mean. Now that I am counting on the years, I remember one thing that made me wonder where on earth I stored those floppy disks. Yes, to reminisce them made me realized how far I have gone through in this computer age. How about you? Have you still kept a few of them in your dusty boxes?

You got to read further. There was a woman named Lara Weigand who found her boxes of discarded floppy disks. She suddenly came up with an idea to upgrade her 1998 Honda Civic’s exterior. And guess what she did. She actually made used of her unused boxes of floppy disks. You have to believe it, she actually transformed her Honda Civic into something catchy, and there’s even better than such description. How about magnificent?

She gathered all these 3.5” and 4.25” floppy disks and painted them. There are hundreds of them that Lara glued on her car. Since she already started upgrading the exterior, Lara also decided to upgrade her vehicle’s storage capacity by at least half a gig. She even upgraded the security features so she “write-protected” most of these disks. As soon as you get into the car, you will be able to see a dash plastered with sheets of punch cards and windows bordered by computer keys. Everything has to look real and unique, so Lara also accessorizes the wheels with processor chips, while the door handles are covered with ESC keys. And look at what she got at the rear. Yes, you are actually staring at her car’s license plate as it says there, “DSKDRV”.

Such a brilliant mind she got there, right? So if you are a bit tired of the way your ride appears, you may also do the same thing. Hit those boxes of floppy disks. Don’t worry they aren’t afraid of magnets.

Volkswagen Beetle Transformed into Phantoms

You heard it for a couple of times that beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. And I am not so sure if you will agree with me when I say that an artistic expression of one may not be the same as what others can perceive it. In fact, your art can make another man vomit if I would exaggerate it. Now that I’m up to car designs and all, I would do whatever I want to express this artistic inclination I have in me. I just felt like I had to share it. Who knows, it may also inspire others to come up with something based on their artistry.

So let’s get into car fashion today. I will be showing you unique car designs, which I entitled for today as the “Passion on Fashion”.

VW as PHANTOMS

I am giving the man behind this creativity a two “THUMBS UP!” Yes, William Burge did very well in the transformation of a 1968 Volkswagen Beetle. He crafted it by collecting all of those little pieces that have fallen off from the beetle. It turned out really impressive as compared to the Bug’s original and once-ubiquitous countenance.

If you are going to count these metals, you will know that there are actually 21, 000 gigashards of metal available, and that's more metal than a '68 Type 1 contained. The steady diet of replacement parts doesn’t even account to its body shell. It captured the attention of many during the car's exhibition at the Essen Motor Show, an exhibit concerned with all the levels in the car artistry.

It has been said that the cathedrals and castles in the city will be the future European Capital of Culture in the year 2010. And this gargoyle-themed Volkswagen beetle fits right in these areas. Its painstaking metal work won’t get lost on the home of the Krupp Iron Works. In fact, it is named as the “Phantoms”.

So if you wish to drive the same car as he does, you are definitely going to discourage parking in front of your homes.

Dr. No Said Yes to Sunbeam Alpine, Series 5

It was in the year 1962 when the first James Bond film was shown in the cinemas. Obviously, I don’t exist yet by then, but I am grateful enough to watch that film entitled, “Dr. No”. Sean Connery did the best role and he even drove the first car featured in the James Bond’s films. It was light-blue convertible, a Sunbeam Alpine, series 5 (a 1961 model year car).

This car originated not from bread or the toasters, but in Great Britain from 1899 to 1981. There were actually 19,122 Series 5 Alpines like the above picture made during its 3 years of production from 1965 until 1968.

Here are the specifications of this first James Bond car ever used.

Engine: Four cylinder unit with five-bearing crankshaft, aluminium cylinder head and push rod operated inclined overhead valves. Twin Zenith/Stromberg 150 CD carburettors. Four rubber mountings absorb vibration. Sealed crankcase ventilation. Oil cooler.

Bore and Stroke: 3.21 in. x 3.25 in. (81.5 mm. x 82.55 mm.).

Cubic capacity: 105.2 cu. in. (1,725 c.c).

Engine develops maximum b.h.p. 100 at 5,500 r.p.m. and maximum torque 110.2 lb. ft. at 3,700 r.p.m. Compression ratio 9.2 : 1

Ignition: Coil and distributer. Centrifugal and vacuum control of ignition timing. Champion N9Y sparking plugs.

Cooling system: Centrifugal pump and four bladed fan. Thermostatic control for quick warm up. Vertical flow radiator, with header tank.

Clutch: 7 1/2 in. Borg and Beck diaphragm, strap drive. Hydraulic operation from pendant pedal.

Gearbox: Four forward speeds and reverse with control ring synchromesh on all forward gears. Short centre-floor gear lever.

Unitary construction of chassis and body includes an 'X' bracing and gives exceptional strength and rigidity with light weight and low centre of gravity.

Front suspension: Fully independent front wheel suspension employing silico-manganese coil springs and swinging links. Telescopic shock absorbers housed down the centre of the coil springs. A torsion bar sway eliminator is fitted between the suspension lower links. All greasing points have been eliminated.

Rear suspension: Semi-elliptic leaf springs. Direct acting telescopic shock absorbers maintain complete control.

Steering: Burman recirculating ball type with three-piece symmetrical track rod linkage. No greasing points. Steering wheel is 2 1/2 in. 'telescopic' adjustment, has two sprung spokes and chromium plated horn ring (G.T. Model, wood rim wheel).

Brakes: Girling 9.85 in. diameter disk brakes front, and 9 in. diameter brake drums rear having a total swept area of 295 sq. in. Handbrake operates mechanically on the rear wheels, the lever being at the side of the driver's seat.

Petrol tanks: 11 1/4 gallon capacity positioned in rear wings.

Wheels: Five pressed steel wheels with cooling apertures, four fitted with polished nave plates and wheel trims. Spare wheel housed vertically in luggage compartment.

Tyres: 6.00 x 13 in. Dunlop nylon cord tubeless.

Electrical system: 12 volt 38 amp. hour battery housed under the occasional seat. Starter operated through solenoid from switch on facia; 35 amp alternator; two powerful double dip headlights with foot dimmer control; separate sidelamps; built in twin stop/tail lamps and reflectors; self-cancelling flashing indicators controlled by lever on steering column which incorporates headlamp flasher; also map light.

Equipment: Twin wind-tone horns, two speed windscreen wipers; screen washers; warning lights for ignition, main beam, direction indicators, speedometer with trip and mileage recorders, revolution counter, oil gauge, water temperature gauge and fuel gauge, anchorages for safety belts, passenger's grab handle, ventilation system. (G.T. model with heater, carpeted floor, sun visors and door operated courtesy lights as standard.)

Overdrive unit: (Available at extra cost). For those owners wishing to enhance the degree of pleasure to be derived from the Sunbeam Alpine, a Laycock-de Normanville overdrive is available. It is designed for use in top and third gears and is operated in conjunction with a final drive ratio of 4.22 : 1. As this unit is fitted during production, it must be specified at the time of placing your order.

The model was considered to be unspectacular; hence, it remained to be hardly worth mentioned through James Bond’s film discussions. Same thing with the Chevrolet Bel-Air used when James Bond was fetched by a taxi driver in the airport in Kingston, Jamaica.

An Entire Ride With James Bond

A lady that I am and a self-proclaimed James Bond fanatic, I admittedly say that I admire him for being a man with appeal. And not just that, what I admired him the most are the innovative technologies he use in his films. The guns down to the cars, he is really a man whom girls would ever dream of. Include my name because I am not shy at all, especially when I got a glimpse of James Bond’s film vehicles. Here they are…

1. English Sport Cars and Luxury Automobiles for 007

Were you able to watch the first movie entitled, “Dr. No (1962)”? Sean Connery was the first James Bond who drove a Sunbeam Alpine, series 5, from the 1961 model year. It was a light-blue convertible. When he was fetched by a taxi driver at the airport in Kingston, Jamaica, he rode a Chevrolet Bel-Air.

In the year 1963, another movie followed entitled, “In From Russia with Love” where James bond rode a 4 1/2 Liter Bentley Sports Tourer, which is the favorite car of the author of James Bond novels, Ian Fleming. The next car he rode was a black Rolls Royce in Istanbul.

2. The Aston Martin DB 5 from Goldfinger

In the year 1959 when Ian Fleming’s novel entitled, “Goldfinger” was published; James Bond in the novel had driven an Aston Martin DB 5. And it was his first time to ride on it since he would often drive Bentleys.

3. The Aston Martin DB 5 from Thunderball (1965)

It was in the year 1965 in the film entitled, “Thunderball” when one of the three vehicles appeared again in James Bond’s next appearance.

In the films, “Golden Eye (1995)” and “Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)” James Bond’s Aston Martin DB 5 appeared again for several times.

4. The Toyota 2000 GT in You Only Live Twice (1967)

It was in October 12, 1965 during the Tokyo’s Motor Show when Toyota 2000 GT had made a sensation to James Bond’s next film. It features excellent technical details.

5. Flying Cars in “The Man with the Golden Gun" (1974)

A Matador Coupe model, a car that is capable of flying with a jump-off speed at 64.36 km/h.

6. Lotus Esprit in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)

Esprit from Lotus was the newest design presented and had been chased by a black Ford Taunus on the winding Costa Esmeralda.

7. Lotus Esprit Turbo in For Your Eyes Only (1981)

A white Esprit Turbo was used in the film, “For Your Eyes Only” in the year 1981.

8. Citroën 2 CV in For Your Eyes Only (1981)

Another car that performed some amazing tricks in the same film, “For Your Eyes Only” was a bright yellow Deux Chevaux, a Citroën 2 CV.

9. The Aston Martin DBS Models and the V8 Vantage in “The Living Daylights” (1987)

In the film, “Diamonds are Forever” in 1971, James Bond used another Aston Martin DBS Model but hasn’t been noticed unless you become very attentive. In the film, “The Living Daylights (1987),” James Bond used a V8 Vantage, a Volanter version.

10. German Cars on 007 Missions

If you will notice, James Bond had used German cars for years. A black Mercedes 190 coupe in the film, “Gold Finger”, seven BMW 200 CS models in the film, “You Only Live Twice (1967)”, a black Mercedes Benz 250 SE model and also a VW were used.

11. The First BMW Appearance: Octopussy (1983)

It was in the year 1983 in the film, “Octopussy” when James Bond had driven a stolen Alfa Romeo through the streets of Berlin.

12. Bond’s Motor Works – BMW Equips 007

The film entitled, “Golden Eye” which was prepared during the summer of 1994 had made used of the Z3 roadster from BMW as James Bond’s official car.

13. BMW Lives Twice in Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)

That Z3 roadster from BMW had attracted the attention of many so it was still used for the second time in the film, “Tomorrow Never Dies”.

14. Made in Germany – The Z8 is the New Sports Car for James Bond

James Bond film, “The World Is Not Enough” had made used of BMW model again. It was a Z8 sports car driven by Pierce Brosnan.

The Man Behind the Most Beautiful Car

Every time we look into those beautiful cars on the road, we would sometimes wonder how the concepts have been brought up and who the people were behind their developments. While I drifted my thoughts on this, I finally met Henrik Fisker on the net. I didn’t have a chance to have a face-to-face talk with him so I just suit myself reading on an interview with him.

Let me share with you how all these designs were formed and how Henrik Fisker become excellent in his field which have actually put him to fame as the “Master Car Designer.”

Taking pictures out of sheer wonder has caught me by surprise when I am able to see what I had actually viewed on through my naked eyes and that of the lens. These beautiful cars I have seen in my entire life are definitely magnificent if I have to exaggerate it. But such is just the appropriate description to use, especially if it was Henrik Fisker who crafted them, the designs in particular.

It is just pretty timely that all the queries I have in mind were answered by Henrik Fisker on a Three-Part Interview with him. Of course, good design and cost must go hand and hand. So the curious “me” had this intention of knowing how does true design excels as compared to the gimmicks of the other auto manufacturers.

When asked by Jake Stride about the cost of beauty, the master car designer responded, “...a design that is beautiful – except for the manufacturing challenges – is no more expensive to make than an ugly design. There is no excuse, really, for doing an ugly design.”

Then he continued discussing how he has gained inspiration on this when he stated, “But where do I get the idea for the design? Whenever I’m awake, I think about cars. It’s not really something that’s from 9 to 4, and it’s not even exclusive to the 5 days a week; it is 7 days a week. It’s when I drive to work, I look at cars and I wonder, “Why’d they do that? I would not have done it like that.” Whenever I watch television, I always watch what cars people are driving…everything, it’s always cars. I think my inspiration just comes out of looking at cars, looking at what type of people are in cars, looking at how light reflects on the cars, that’s how I get my ideas. And I always have more ideas than I have cars to do, so I don’t think there’s ever a danger of running out of ideas. It’s more the other way around; you don’t have enough opportunity to actually put your ideas out.”

And just like anyone else, Henrik Fisker had gathered his own perception and expectations in doing what he loves. He even said, “One of the things I wanted to change – which is just a detail, really – is that I wanted to get away from having carpet on the doors. I felt it was really ridiculous to have carpet on the doors, just because a lot of people kick the door. I thought, “This is an Aston Martin, this is a high quality car, and the interior is like an expensive leather couch.” You don’t put a carpet patch on an expensive Italian leather couch at home because somebody might kick it. You clean it after, or you make sure they don’t kick it. So, there is no carpet on the doors of the DB9. This was an important thing to take out.”

To sum it all up, Henrik Fisker has taught me and even those who have come to read his three-part interview on what to consider in designing “the most beautiful car on the road.” These factors include the design, inspiration, materials, light, shadow, size and proportion.

Cars for Midgets

These fast cool cars are really amazing. If your pocket can afford taking almost any car there is and if you have enough budget to spare, you can actually transform it into a “fast cool car”. And many are actually doing just that. It makes me feel glad that car enthusiasts like me can freely do what we want in our car especially that the automotive market these days do carry a lot of automotive accessories to choose from. Many have gone through caring for a good car and actually had made it a great car.

You got to see them here. They are not just those fast cool cars you would often find anywhere for they are what I call, “The Cars for Midgets.” I remember someone who said that “Size isn’t everything.” And I guess he got a point there. Whether you own the biggest automobile in the planet, it doesn’t mean that it already has the best features anyone would look for.

And I want something with a smaller footprint for fun. I feel like everybody’s eyes are on me and, so with the car. There are already a number of vehicle owners who find these small cars amazing, not just the cuteness that it brings to each and every ride, but most of all is the way these cars automatically provide you with lower running costs. You have to believe all these as getting a small car would also mean that insurance, economy and servicing are becoming friendlier to you. But when you finally decided to drive one, make sure that you are choosing the right small car that is both reliable and practical rather than just being the right size.

So when you imagine how small they are, you would probably thinking if they do feature a reasonable rear legroom, a high driving position and plenty of headroom. So just like me, you are also wishing to have that feel of more spacious interior despite the size.

Rooting from the effort of General Motors Corp. and Ford Motor Co. to provide cool yet smartly equipped little cars such as the GM’s Opel Tigra and the Ford Ka intended for Europeans. Now you may ask why these are often intended for Europeans. Well, it’s just that these small cars are ideal for them especially to those living in old cities with narrow streets. While as what I have mentioned on my first post, Detroit and other American owned automobiles would take luxury to associate with spaciousness so little did they pay attention on small cars. And it’s a good thing to know that they are starting to change it just recently.

The shift can also be attributed to the rise in gas prices to more than $3 a gallon that has prompted many vehicle owners to consider buying smaller vehicles. Hence, an even more demand for premium small cars is increasing. Who wouldn’t get caught of this when these small cars do offer more than just affordability and fuel savings? Art Spinella, the president of CNW Marketing Research Inc. in Brandon, Ore had commented, "We're seeing a lot of people interested in fuel economy or in adding a secondary vehicle to their household fleet."

If you are going to ask me, I would say that these mini cars are really cool, seriously speaking. But they are also really cool in a funny way so making me want to own one. I can already imagine how I will step out of one of these mini cars and could actually turn heads on. Try to imagine a sexy lady driving any of these little cars.

If I am a midget, I’d definitely call them, “Cars for Midgets.” How is that? Anyway, Euro-styled small cars such as these are really one of a kind. They aren’t just cool, but practical as well. Soon I will be telling about myself just by driving a little one as it can actually speak of something about me, a person who is a little more sensitive to the environment and is no doubt a little more concerned about fuel economy.

As promised, you will get to find the best street cars on the planet today, featuring their best design and of course, best performance. I call them, “The 10 Supercars on the Go!” Yes, I do understand how excited you are. So what you can do for now is to fasten your seatbelts as you will take the best ride you’ve ever dreamed of.

SUPERCAR #1: 2009 C6 ZR1 Chevrolet Corvette, one of the world’s best known and longest-running nameplates in America. It is finally considered worthy enough to compete in the world’s best automobiles. It can feed your engine with 620+ horsepower, and I must say that is indeed a one fast cool car.

SUPERCAR #2: Koeningsegg CCX, a super car with a dynamic stance and futuristic, aggressive attitude. Its amazingly low and broad appeal is further enhanced with its cockpit-like semicircular windscreen added with organically shaped read hood as its best features. And look at that smooth and polished body, isn’t it great to cuddle this car? It looks even more charming when the body is gently curved with almost simplistic, yet speaks of a fully integrated design. It actually speaks of hundreds of tongues if you will exaggerate it. But true to that, the lines and surfaces of this car appear to be slippery, and thus, project an image of velocity.

The First -Ever Developed Street Cars

Setting up this blog goes with the purpose of sharing my thoughts about beautifully designed automobiles. Some of you may have different views on these great automobiles, but let me take you through my mind and allow me to share with you how I view these auto designs and concept cars.

Let me start discussing about “Street Cars”.

If you are one of the many fast car enthusiasts, you gotta read this.

Have you been counting on how fast you are driving? Oh boy, if you own the fastest street car on the planet, you could have been taking a flight on the road. That is how street cars can take you into a ride. And this is probably the reason why street cars are also called “fast cars”. Alright, before we take a flight into the latest street cars on the planet, let us first look back and gather some thoughts on the history of street cars.

Did you know that there was such thing called, omnibus? If this is the very first time that you heard about it, you better read further. Omnibus was the first mass transportation vehicle in America which began running in New York City in the year 1827. It is similar to that of a stagecoach, and was pulled by horses. And lucky enough to have owned this first was Abraham Browner, the man who organized the first fire department in New York.

While horse-drawn carriages were already roaming around America and taking people to places they desired, Omnibus however did the excellent job of running along a certain designated route, charging their passengers with a very low fare. What’s funny about this street car was that people would wave their hands in the air just to get on to this horse-drawn car. And when these passengers would want to get off the Omnibus, they had to pull on a little leather strap. The funnier about this pulling of strap is that the leather strap was connected to the ankle of the Omnibus driver. Perhaps, you can now imagine how it was done during those times.

Years after, Omnibus had been subjected for improvement. It was still a horse-drawn car, but the only difference was that this car had to roll along special steel rails than the regular street. And just the same, its wheels were also made out of steel and were carefully crafted so these won’t roll off the rails. This car was also much larger than the omnibus so more passengers can get inside the car.

So how did these horse-drawn streetcars have transformed into real streetcars of today? You have to be grateful for the development of “cable”. Yes, my dear readers, cable was the first major attempt made in America’s streetcar lines in the year 1873. This machine had replaced the first horse-drawn streetcars, and was hauled by a long cable that moved slowly under the city’s streets. But before it did happen, people in-charge in this streetcar improvement had dug first a ditch in between the rails. They also built a chamber (vault) under the track from one end of the line to another. After the vault has been finished, there was a small opening that was left at the top of it. And next was the long cable placed inside this chamber.

Finally, this new streetcar which is better known as cable during those times ran under city streets from one end of the streetcar line to the other. It was spliced into a big loop and was kept moving by a huge steam engine which features massive wheels and pulleys housed at the side of the street in a powerhouse.

All these streetcars have paved the way to the improvement of today’s latest street cars on the planet. And watch out for the next post as I will be discussing more about great streetcar designs available.

“Inner Beauty is the Path to Success.”

It’s been years when American automakers had set aside interior aesthetics in favor of horsepower and torque. Typical buyers would choose performance over design aesthetics. But later on these U.S. automakers have found out that no matter how great the horsepower given off, their vehicle models still look bland as if no other effort for improvement was done except for performance.

Finally, Detroit discovered the missing inner beauty when they figured out the reasons behind the years of excellence of Japanese and European automakers. These makers believe that, “Inner beauty is the path to success.” Giving more focus on improving the car’s interiors, these automakers have fascinated more and more buyers. Using the same concept, Detroit finally came up with all-new “inner look although it took years for them to finally boost the over-all aesthetics of their vehicle interiors. And one event that can attest to that is the recent North American International Auto Show. This only indicates that Detroit is now ready to compete with the Toyota Motors (TM) and BMWs (BMWG) not only on performance basis, but on aesthetics as well.

To prove to the world how U.S. automakers are doing it right, here are two car examples that have stand-out at the show.

2008 Chevy Malibu

Take hold of your breath when you see it for the very first time. The General Motors’ (GM) craftsmanship on this Chevy Malibu model of 2008 clearly speaks of big improvements when compared to the former model.

And it doesn’t just end there because the 2008 Chevy Malibu has finally revealed how it turned its interior into something really great. Jim McCraw, a freelance journalist and one of the panel of journalists at the Car Show commented, “For me, the whole inside is what tipped me over. I like the outside, but the interior is just so nice and so well-proportioned and so modern, it's just a joy to be in.” He also added that, "They've upgraded the quality of the materials." The result had favored 2008 Chevy Malibu as the North American Car of the Year.

When interviewed by the panel of journalists at the show, Chevrolet’s General Manager Ed Peper responded that the positive result is accounted to the manufacturing tolerances that are tighter for the new Malibu than for previous models. He further discussed about the new features including the improved fit and finish which reduced squeaks and rattles, and in turn increased the way customers perceived its value.

According to the BusinessWeek.com on the 19^th of November 2007, Chevy Malibu 2008 is aimed to be squarely competing with the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. These car models are known to offer simple, comfortable and well-made interiors at competitive prices, and thus, made them the reigning midsize sales champs in the world so far. To justify how competitive the 2008 Chevy Malibu is, Ed Pepper further stated that this Chevy model features improved quality with high level of standard features. That includes the satellite radio and an upgraded version of GM’s On-Star communication system. You better believe that this upgraded version could actually make you feel like you are getting a car worth $40,000 for only $20,000.

Ford Verve on 2010

While many were captivated by the no-doubt American car of the year, 2008 Chevy Malibu, there is another American vehicle model that stood out at the show-Verve. Yes, this newly designed vehicle model by Ford Motor attributed its success to the high quality concept of Ford. And this one is expected to roam around the city in the

U.S.

by 2010.

If you take a closer look, you may notice that the Verve design was based from European design aesthetic. And this had resulted into something worth keeping. Simple and sporty, this Ford model was made to be a superb driving machine. It was carefully crafted using high-quality materials that made it look and feel good despite the size. Plus, you can be amazed if you find out that the car features wing-shaped buttons in the center of what they call as the “stack” for control heating, ventilation, air conditioning, telephone and other special features anyone would love.
