Today is the May release day over at Papertrey Ink! All of the new stamp sets and products that me and the design team have been sharing during the countdown will be available to purchase today, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

Today I have the rest of my release projects to share with you...

This card is created with both the new Tiny Triangles and Side by Side Sentiments sets. I stamped some extra triangles when I made the mini book that I shared yesterday and I used those to make the little bunting on this card.

I also used the triangles to make the little border that goes down the side of the card.

Next up is the new Polka Dot Parade #4 set. I stamped the cute little teddy bear in Fine Linen to create the background and then paired the sentiments with the "baby" word from my new Wonderful Words: Baby set.

I had orginally stamped the word in Spring Moss on the teddy bear background, but it blended too much with the bears so I added the die cut word that I stamped with Blueberry Sky ink.

And finally, a card using the new Boutique Border: Baby set as well as the new Ruby Rose set. I did a little spritzing with water before stamping with the images on the Rustic White cardstock and then cut the opening for the sentiment on the stamped cardstock with the Boutique Borders: Baby die.

I really love this look with the Boutique Border series and creating the fun floral stamped backgrounds is so fun to do.

Welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink May release countdown. It's another group post today and it's all of about creating with the new Ruby Rose set. My project also includes images from my new Wonderful Words: Baby set.

I went to Pinterest for a little inspiration and found this sweet quilty picture:

I have been inspired by Nana Company before for projects that I have done - I just love her blog!

For my project, I put together a little mini book for my best friend of the day when her new baby girl Ailsa (pronounced ale-saw) was born. I had found some kraft file folder die cuts that a friend had gifted me a very long time ago and decided that was going to make the base of my mini book.

There are so many ways that you could get a similar look for a mini book like this: Using an electronic die cut machine that has a file for a file folder shape, use the Edgers #5 dies on the edge of your pages, or even cut down some actual file folders to use.

I combined the "baby" word with "welcome" from Wonderful Words: Baby with letters from the Stitched Alphabet set to spell out Ailsa's name for the cover. I added stamped/die cut flowers from the Ruby Rose set stamped in colors from my inspiration piece. I even added a little bunting like fabric from my inspiration with the Tiny Triangles set.

Here's a look at the side of the little book. I used 2 file folder cards layered on top of each other and then stitched them together with my sewing machine.

On the inside pages, I stamped Ruby Rose flowers in Fresh Snow ink on the page bases. My one flower under Ailsa's picture has a tint to it from not cleaning up my stamps well before inking them up in Fresh Snow ink. I was fine with the effect for this page and as I stamped the flowers were more white colored in the rest of the book (and my stamp pad is fine too, in case you were worried...)

The sentiment on the left page is from the Inside & Out: Baby set. I stamped it on a patterned paper from the Sugar Plum patterned paper collection. I used the same paper to type up some other picture information throughout the book too.

A few die cut flowers sprinkled through out the book are perfect accents for the pages. I also stamped a few words from the Wonderful Words: Baby set on each tab of the mini book.

I kept it simple with just members of their immediate family holding their sweet new addition.

Such a special day that I was honored to be a part of. I am excited to give this sweet little book to my friend - I know she will love it.

It's day 4 of the Papertrey Ink May release countdown. Today is a group post day and we are all sharing projects created with the new Pedal Pusher set. My second card that I am sharing also uses images from my new Red, White & Blue set.

For my first card with the Pedal Pushers set, I chose to do a wedding theme. Of course I had to do a pair of bikes! The first bike is stamped directly onto the white cardstock and then the second is stamped onto the coordinating die cuts so I could make them look like they are sitting next to each other. I used the interactive wheels and so they really turn - so fun :) I love fun details like that.

I stamped the flowers in just on of the baskets to represent the bride's bouquet. I am so excited about how this card turned out - especially since I have the couple in mind that I am giving it to who are getting married in June.

Next up is a fun bike to celebrate the 4th of July! I took part of an image from the Vintage Picnic set and selectively inked the flag and one star to fit into the bike basket. The fireworks that are stamped in the background with Fine Linen ink are from my new Red, White & Blue set. Stamping in a light neutral ink let me create a fun and festive background that doesn't overwhelm the card design.

For the bike I used the interactive wheel die feature again - it's too fun not to use!

Welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink May release countdown. Today I have another project to share using my Wonderful Words: Baby.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on May 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

The card and tag set uses the die cut word along with some of the coordinating words from the Wonderful Words: Baby set.

I used the Happiness in Bloom set to create the floral background. I stamped everything in the Papertrey shades of purple: Lavender Moon, Plum Pudding, Winter Wisteria, and Royal Velvet. The paper looks like a fabric that I might have bought at the store - so pretty! I die cut the "baby" word from the stamped background paper and then layered it onto a kraft card base.

The coordinating sentiment is stamped on a strip of vellum and attached behind the ribbon to hide the adhesive.

I took the left over die cut word from the card and used it on this simple kraft tag. It was too pretty to not use!

Welcome to day 2 of the Papertrey Ink May release countdown! Today I am sharing my new Red, White & Blue stamp set and Star Spangled impression plate. Did you bring your sparklers?

All of the new stamp sets and product that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on May 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I have a trio of festive and patriotic themed cards to share today that I created with the Red, White & Blue set. I don't know about you, but this theme puts me right in the mood for summer.

Here's a look at the new Star Spangled impression plate. The stars are reversed so that when you run the plate through your die cutting machine, the stars will pop up instead of being pressed in. A little spritz of water on your cardstock before doing the impression really helps the stars look sharp. I also ran some aluminum tape through with the impression plate and I am really liking how that turned out. (for more on using aluminum tape with impression plates, you can see my Make it Monday video tutorial here.) The Star Spangled impression plate retails for $16.

For this first card, I used the circular element to create a background with Fine Linen ink and then I added the fire crackers in with Pure Poppy and Enchanted Evening inks.

I think "oh snap!" is probably my favorite in the set and it's perfect with the fire crackers!

Next is a card that is ready to celebrate with the firework images from the set. I stamped the larger firework in Pure Poppy and then added the little stars from the Star Gazer die collection that I cut from Night Sky shimmer cardstock - it's like they were make to perfectly coordinate with the Red, White & Blue set!

For the main sentiment in the center, I stamped one of the circle elements in Fine Linen ink and then stamped the sentiment in the center with Enchanted Evening ink.

Here's the card that I used the star impressed aluminum tape with. I attached the tape at an angle and then used the smaller firework image to stamp a border on each side of the tape. If you look close, you can see a little "boom" sentiment that is stamped in Soft Stone along the edge of the tape as well.

The circle element is sized so you can punch or die cut it with a 1 3/4" circle and have a full bleed to the edge. I did that here with the circle element stamped with Pure Poppy ink.

Welcome to day 1 of the Papertrey Ink May release countdown! I am so excited about this month's release because it just feels like summer and has been a breath of fresh air to work with. I have 2 new stamp sets debuting this month to share with you.

Wonderful Words: Baby is a set that includes a large word (baby) with companion words and sentiments. The set has a coordinating die for the large word as well. You can use the die alone, stamp the word alone, or use the 2 together. Wonderful Words: Baby retails for $5.

I have a card today that uses new new Wonderful Words: Baby set...

The "baby" word this month is done with a loopy cursive script for a sweet whimsical look. The overlay pattern is a simple polka dot that will coordinate with any theme. And what's going on in the background of this card? It's a new impression plate that I will share more about tomorrow :)

The "baby" word is stamped with Aqua Mist ink onto the die cut word. I stamped "hello" on Rustic White cardstock and then punched it out with a 3/4" circle punch. A little sprinkle of sequins and stars is the perfect finishing touch to this baby card that is perfect for either gender.
