Easter Weekend

Well, hello there. How was everyone's Easter weekend? Ours was spent at Punta Fuego in Batangas where we've basically been spending Easter for I think 6 or 7 years now. This time we spent it with our village friends (we're a tight knit village hahaha) with 7 families in all so it was crazy fun.

We're sorry we've been MIA (again!) so much has changed in such a short amount of time. I'm not sure if you guys know, but I've taken the bar exam last year and the results came out a few weeks ago and luckily I'm one of the 949 who passed the bar! It still remains completely surreal to me and I'm still feeling quite euphoric that I have put this blog in the back seat. Sporadic posts are more likely to continue since I have so much to do and have yet to learn to balance everything. Hopefully though, it'll be sooner than later :)

Hey, how's everyone doing? I hope everyone's enjoying Valentine's day. Taken or not, I think it's still nice to remember that your are loved by your friends and family. So if your are single like the three of us, please know that we love you, whoever you are, and you are not the only one single this Valentine's day. Hahaha! To those who are taken, make this Valentine's count by doing something special! :)

So anyway, about the pictures. Me and Nina had a little pre-valentine's date of our own (Pat followed us after her class) which included a late lunch at Cibo, a little shopping and then merienda of... isaw! Classy huh? Hehehe. These pictures were taken at our favorite spot in Greenbelt where people are scarce - except for that occasional security guard who kept walking past us probably thinking we were suspicious or something, but aside from him you can pose all you want without people staring at you. The sunglasses Nina is wearing is actually a replica of the Super sunnies that I love but can't afford to buy. As much as we want to buy designer shades, we have a habit of breaking and losing sunnies so we just buy cheap shades that way we can discard them easily. Hihihi.

Since it's heart's day I have included a picture of me and my reflection doing a heart. Forever alone much? LOL

It took me a long time to finally decide on what to wear for my informal graduation picture. At first, I wanted to wear pajamas but none of my friends wanted to join me so I changed my mind. Then I thought of wearing something Mcdo related, because it's my favorite restaurant, but then I had a vision of me showing my kids my high school yearbook and seeing them laugh at me because of what I'm wearing so I thought nevermind. So I settled for this cropped tee, skirt and DM's outfit, that my sister helped me pick out.

In reality, this is what I really look like - glasses on, goofy smile, awkward stance. I realized that I actually haven't posted any photo of me wearing my glasses like it's some dirty secret. But yes, I do wear glasses and no, I don't wear it for fun. My eyesight isn't actually that bad, I can still read without it but with the subsequent punishment of a nasty headache at the end of the day. Sometimes though, I choose the headache because I'm a little sadist that way. Hahaha!

So about the outfit, I wore this to work plus some after work shopping with Pat. The weather gods are a little nice to us with this recent good weather that I just had to wear something a tad bit warmer hence, the sweater. The skirt is actually a little too big for me, I bought it without trying it on so now I'm left with a semi-pencil cut skirt. The bag is borrowed from my mom and my shoes are a current favorite of mine so expect gazillions of outfit shots with this one.

New Normal

I just realized that it's been too long since I've actually posted an outfit shot that I'm not even used to posing anymore - hence the hazy look kind of photo. Come to think of it, I never really perfected the whole "pose" thing so awkward faces are really more of a trend in this blog. Anyway, this was what I wore last Saturday and basically what I've been usually wearing this 2013. I've been leaning towards classic clothes and corporate friendly attires since I'm looking for work at offices which have strict corporate dress code. I have, however accumulated a few printed pants, I know I'm late in that bandwagon but then again I've always been a late bloomer. Hihihi.

It's that shoes + socks combo again, I admit I am obsessed with these kind of pictures. This is the third time we've done this (see the others here and here) and I still can't get enough. Mostly inspired by the pages of Vivi Magazine which feature tons of shoes + socks combos.

On other news, I recently opened my own Tumblr Account where I plan to post some of my non fashion-ish photos. I've been feeling kind of guilty posting some of my "feeling professional photos" here since this is essentially a fashion blog (why do I always cringe at the word "fashion"?) Plus, I rarely post photos on my own facebook account, well, because everyone's there you know? And I mean this literally, because even the school registrar from my previous school is my facebook friend. So I feel like the tumblr account is my separate avenue to post my personal photos and things that inspire me. To make the story short - can you please follow me on tumblr? Hahaha!

Well, here goes another Disney post. It is inevitable, we truly love Disneyland. If I could, I would visit all the Disneylands out there. I mean, who wouldn't right? Heeeey! So happy that it didn't take me more than a week to actually sort our vacay pics. These first few days of the year I've been on a roll (much to my Dad's surprise) that I stopped slacking off and actually finished some work for him (Although I still have a lot to do - mostly reviewing contracts. Snooze much.) I haven't been dressing up as much since I gained weight but lately I've been trying to draw inspiration from my favorite blogs and finally going back to wearing heels again (I haven't worn mine for what feels like forever - that's how lazy I was.) I'll try to update this blog often as well, since apparently people DO read this blog. Thank you for reading this, whoever you are ;)

So, on to the pictures, these are my sisters' Macau photos. I didn't go with them and just stayed in Hongkong - the plan was to shop til my feet fall off but it rained so hard the whole day that I didn't get to shop as much as I wanted. And it ended up that Nina and Pat didn't get to tour around Macau as well since they also got rained on and they just went hotel hopping instead.

Well, on the brightside it's post-Christmas sale season! Why not welcome the year with new outfitsssss? Yes, may emphasis talaga sa "sssss." Hahaha!

Happy New Year everyone! 2012 had its ups and a lot of downs for us that we wanted it to be over and done with, so we're welcoming 2013 with open arms, filled with hope and positive attitudes. We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season. :)

Here are our pictures (sans me, Nica) at the airport for our yearend vacation at (where else?) Hongkong. I know you think we're crazy to go back there almost every year but it's our favorite place - for one, it's an hour or so away, second - it gets pretty cold there during December, and third - the sale season there is craaaaazy. I could basically go on and on about my love for Hongkong but I'll limit it to three for now. Hehehe. Sorry I'm not part of the pictures again - I didn't like my outfit so I didn't want to get my photo taken. Emotera lang! Lol.

Ok, so I finally showed my face here in this blog. I missed you guys! *virtual hugs and kisses* I know what you're all thinking, "Ehrmergherd you gained so much weight!" First - no I did not get pregnant (I wish I had this excuse though) I just ate a LOT during my review since it helps me stay awake. Unfortunately, I get sleepy all the time so I basically ate myself away for 6 months. Second - No, I'm still not going to the gym and no, I have no special diet. I mean come on guys, the holidays are coming. AND I have so much movies/series/kdramas to watch. I'm just basically accepting the reality that I may never bring my old body back (plus it wasn't really that great to begin with.) But I may re-think the gym thing next year. :)

ANYWAY, so here's a rare set of photos of the three of us. We finally had time to take pictures during the weekend. Everyone was home to celebrate our brother's birthday so we took it upon ourselves to take pictures for this blog. We may not update every time but you are always in our minds. Chos.

Photos from my recent road trip up north with my friends. It was my first road trip ever - I have avoided doing one for so long since I have motion sickness. Thankfully, my friend's car remained clean and intact so it seems I have outgrown it but sleep still seems to elude me when I am mobile. Hi everyone! We are sort of back...again. How many hiatus can a blog take? Apparently, this one can take so much. We sincerely apologize for always being MIA, everyone has been just so busy with school, life, etc. Now Nina is the one leaving us for her reviews and she just moved out of the house. As she is our resident photographer we are still figuring out a way to bring this blog alive. Hehehe. We will start to update, we promise, but for now we will post our backlog photos. These pictures were taken I think a few months ago (Kamusta naman sa backlog diba?) at Greenbelt when we celebrated Pat's confirmation-slash-parent's wedding anniversary lunch. Ironically, only Nina had her outfit photo taken. I want to explain how it happened, but it's so far back I don't even remember. Hahaha.

I'm thinking this blog needs a makeover as well.

Singapore Day 3

Hello, hello! And we're still not done with our Singapore posts. 1 more and we're finished with showing you our adventure there.
During our third day, we went to Sentosa with my bestfriend's family. All the outfit posts are of Pat since I didn't have a decent one. Teehee. This day was super hot, it's not even a joke. We tried different things like the Skyline Luge Sentosa (see 4th picture for reference where you see me smiling like there's no tomorrow haha), 4D Magix, and then the MegaZip (which was really not much because there was only a short distance from the top. Also, we went to Night Safari but I didn't post the pictures because I didn't like the outcome because it was too dark. but here's a snippet of what happened that night:

Our second day was spent at Universal Studios. I decided to dress down a little bit because I knew this day would require clothes that were fit for rides. Lol. It was raining really hard when we arrived there, but it didn’t stop us from having fun.

I have only one word to describe the Transformers and Battlestar Galactica: AWESOME. I am a big big fan of rollercoasters. I don’t like ocean activities/stuff/whatever-they-call-it, but if you let me ride the most thrilling rollercoaster ever made, I would gladly do so! Even though we spent almost half of the day in a queue line, it was definitely worth it.

Hello! It's been a long time since we've posted here and we are really sorry for not updating this blog. It's just that, we've been really busy with school. But now, our schedules are starting to loosen up (mostly mine) and we can blog again! Yay!

Anyway, here are our pictures from our Singapore Trip last May. On our first day, we went shopping around Orchard Road and afterwards we rode the MRT to Marina Bay Sands. It's so sad to say that we weren't able to see their 'oh so popular infinity pool' but we were all tired of walking around and made a unanimous decision to just go home and rest. That's just about it for now, we'll try to update as soon as we can!

Not so little anymore...

We used to take pictures of these 2 when they were still in their 10's or something like that. Ate Nix and I would dress them up like they were our dolls and they'd pose pretending they were models with my lil old digicam. And now, they're all grown up, and they've already surpassed my height! I now look like I'm younger than them. Lol jk. But seriously, they're bigger than me. I hope you two won't get tired of being our "Barbie dolls" when we're bored during the summer. Rainy days and Saturdays

Classes got suspended, parents are gone, 2 sisters are busy and there's a typhoon. I've got nothing better to do than fix my nails. So I tried this Nail Rock from Topshop which we bought last summer at Singapore. It's kinda cool but it is hard to put on your nails. I've always wanted the plain gold shiny one but it was out of stock so we bought this instead. My only problem is I don't know how long this will last..hope it lasts until next week. :)

You're probably wondering, "Who's the cowboy who turned one?" Well, it's our one and only little pineapple monster! Our precious baby monster just had his first birthday celebration and the theme was the movie Toy Story. He wore a cowboy costume at the start of the party, and just like an 18-yr. old debutant, he changed outfits in the middle of the party into a Buzz Lightyear costume. Happy First Birthday Andrei!

Hi! It's been a long time since I last posted here and I'm very sorry for practically being MIA in this blog. I was busy (yes, even during the summer) with school since I had to attend review classes for my upcoming College Entrance Tests. And being the paranoid nerd that I am, I couldn't let go of my studies.

Anyway, last Saturday, our family decided to have dinner at this Thai Restaurant called Mango Tree Bistro in GB. My outfit on that day was inspired from Sulli of f(X). Actually most of my outfits are inspired from f(x), because I believe they're clothes are perfect for girls my age.

Last April we went to Dapitan to attend our family friend's wedding. Well, technically, our parents we're the ones invited and we decided to come along. Since everything was free, we ended up sharing our room with our other friends. Imagine three families in a room, definite chaos but it was a lot of fun. As you can see, I have compiled our four day stay into one post because I don't know how I should separate them all! Forgive me for the random arrangement of the pictures, and for not posting our outfit shots. because apparently, I haven't taken a lot at all. Lol.

A Little Break

I figured you're a little tired of my vacation photos, so we'll take a little break from that (but I still have gazillions of photos to share with you guys) and post my sisters' outfit pictures instead. They wore this for dinner with the family plus my mom's friends over at High Street. Sorry I'm not part of the pictures (although I was part of the dinner. Hehehe) because we ran out of time to take pictures and I'm not really in the mood to have my photos taken right now since I've gained so much weight from my vacation and add to that lack of exercise from sitting all day reading books. Our dad keeps nagging me to watch my weight (thanks for the vote of confidence DAD) but it's just that when I see food, I'm like I WILL EAT THIS AAAALLLL. HAHAHA =)

Just because it's springtime in LA does not mean it's warm. I was totally freezing and the temperature reached about 11C and it was also raining that time (eh paano nagpumilit mag-stockings, tiis ganda moment lang!). Anyway, these are our pictures at the Getty Museum. I highly recommend The Getty, they have a great collection of art, an awesome garden and most importantly the entrance is free - thank God for unselfish gazillionaires like the Gettys. I have this love and fascination of museums which explains my giddy smile in the photos. Plus I was just so happy with the fact that I've finally seen an original Van Gogh!

Heeeeey! I'm semi-back from a month long hiatus. Semi-back because I'm still not sure whether I'll be able to blog as often as I'd like since (drumroll please) I'm preparing for the bar exam. :) So anyway, last April me and my bestfriend finally went to our much awaited and overly anticipated US trip that we've been dreaming about for at least 7 years or so. LA was our first stop and we initially wanted to go to Coachella (doesn't everybody?) but the tickets were WAY expensive at $600! We're thinking of going next year and this officially serves as an invitation to every person out there who's reading my little entry here in the blogosphere who wants to go to Coachella but doesn't have anyone to go with! This is, like, a totally serious invite (pretend I have a Valley girl accent so it'll sound better in your head. LOL).

Anyway, I still have a lot of photos to go through, edit and post but I don't go online that often anymore. I'll try to post at least my US photos (I still have a long way to go though). Plus, Nina and Pat still have their summer photos to show so watch out for that as well. I've missed you all!
