Sometimes people are made to stay by telling them that there will be work coming shortly and it never happens! And when they do hold you back, they don't offer you any sort of sustenance. First they pay you less, then they make you stay late even when you don't have work. Heck! Everybody is always tense with no sense of job security and with the CEO of the company looming around picking out easy targets to jolt. Then there's the IT manager who may be a knowledge power house but for some reason isn't all that keen on sharing it with anyone. And how can i forget the CTO, who is perhaps the brains behind the whole company. He sounds like an awfully nice guy but rumours are that he is the one who decides everybody's pay and trust me they are well below standards. WIth all these three people combined, nobody has peace of mind.
