Kristie Larsen has a lot to be thankful for and she wanted to share a project that can help you express your gratitude too.  Kristie is expecting her 3rd child in February and we are all so happy for her.  This cute banner pretty much says it all.  Kristie used Large Banner and Soda Pop Alpha to make the banner and backed each pennant with a scalloped circle.

Hang this on your centerpiece, over the buffet table on Thanksgiving Day, or just across your kitchen window to remind you of all that you are thankful for this season.  

Kristie also made this sweet little set of paper cards to have at the Thanksgiving Table.  She explained that you write what you are thankful for, then roll it up with a ribbon and keep them in the jar until the next year.  Then at your next year's traditional Thanksgiving Dinner, read the old ones in the jar out loud to see what you wrote and replace them with new ones to be kept for the next year.  Would be so fun to see how some writings change each year and how some of the same thoughts show up every year.

The cards are stamped with the Singing Birds frame, perfect for a little note.

Pink Persimmon was honored to participate in an artwork exchange with Carolyn Peeler, Sr. Creative Director for Melissa Frances.  Judi met Carolyn a year ago at SilverBella and had a great time in her ATC card holder class.  We just love the vintage style of Melissa Frances products and how well they work with Pink Persimmon stamps.  They have a full line of Scrapbooking products and some really unique items as well. Their papers are beautiful and they have wonderful vintage style resin frames and appliques that are so fun to work with.  Their Vintage Colonial House is a little chipboard house that is to die for!!! We are winding up the contest over at Cookin' Up Creations and wanted to share what some of the Creative Team members came up with when we challenged them to make something that you would give to a girl friend and it had to have the color pink and a stamped image. 

Julie Detlef made this cute card with the Small Banner Set.  Perfect for a friend who needs a bit of cheer in her mailbox. 

Kelly Schimer made this beauty with the You're a Jewel set.  I just love how Kelly made the stamp image and the center of each flower shimmer.  Here's a closeup of the flower ribbon:

Not to be excluded, our Little Red Wagon girl went to the pumpkin patch too and came home with her own halloween decor.  She didn't want her brother to be the only one to get some pumpkins this year!

Samantha Sibbet designed this cute Halloween Gift Bag with the Little Red Wagon set, the Small Banner Set, and Carnival Alpha (small) as well.  We just love how versatile the banner set has become for any holiday.  Here's a close up of the banner in Samantha's gift bag.

Have you been to the pumpkin patch yet?  This little guy looks like he is returning home with some Pumpkin Fun! What a sweet Halloween card.  

Kelly Schirmer created this card with the Little Red Wagon set.  She stamped the boy on patterned paper and cut out his shirt and then again on black cardstock and cut out the pants.  The rest of the image is stamped on watercolor paper and colored with Martha Stewart markers and a watercolor brush.  Patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket and cardstock is from PaperTrey Ink. 

We are very excited to introduce Pink Persimmon's first Creative Team.  We really appreciate everyone who took the time to submit an application.  There is a ton of creativity out there!  It was so hard to choose just 4, so we increased our team to 6 and are very excited to introduce these creative ladies.

We'll have their bio pages and gallery up on the website soon, but in the meantime, we'll have a little giveaway fun with their blogs.  Each Creative Team member is hosting a giveaway at their blog and all you have to do is comment on their blog post about your favorite Pink Persimmon stamp set.  We'll do a random draw at each blog on Saturday 9/19.  So the more blogs you visit, the better your chances to win!
