Kristii Lockart designed this Valentine card using the Antiquated Collection Misses' Apron stamp set. What a cute way to display this stamp! Love the heart she added to the front and back.
Kristii is so good at combining lots of layers and keeping the style vintage without going too far. She strikes such a good balance of color, embellishments and distressing.

Lisa Pace is also on the design team for Maya Road, so she has been busy making samples for CHA (Craft & Hobby Association Conference) that takes place next week. Lisa is having so much fun incorporating her new Antiquated Collection stamps with the Maya Road items.
Lisa used new Maya Road products that will introduced next week to make the bracelet, along with a stamped image from the Antiquated Collection (Society Lady) on a chandelier bead. I asked Lisa how she got the image on the glass bead: "I stamped it onto vintage ledger paper using Archival Ink Jet Black, then applied Diamond Glaze to the back of a flat Maya Road Chandelier Bead, pressed the chandelier bead on top of the paper to remove air bubbles and set it aside to let it dry. Once dry I trimmed the excess paper from around the edges of the bead then attached a jump ring. Super easy!"
And super pretty too!
Everyone needs thank you cards after the holidays, and we have a couple of birthdays in our house during January, so even MORE thank you cards are needed then! When I need to make some cards, I try to make a batch of the same design so that I can complete them in an assembly line fashion and then I always have some on hand. The first one always takes some time, but once I am happy with the format, then the rest are quick and easy.
Melisa Waldorf made this cute Thank You card that I think is adorable. I don't have the die cut machine to replicate her design exactly, but decided I could use this idea in a little simpler format
I needed a card for my son to send his thank you notes, and I didn't think that pink would go over too well, so I changed up the color and size a bit. Melisa is much better at doing the fussy cut around the scotty dog than I am, so I left a small white border around my image. Cutting out the scroll banner, not a problem, but the fuzzy edges of the dog's fur was too much for me!
My daughter does love pink, but she chose a different stamp for her thank you cards, and followed the same basic format.
Everyone loves receiving a handmade Thank You card. They don't have to be super complicated, and truthfully, it is what is written inside the card that really matters.
