The Brain Tree is located in the upper middle right of the Haunted Woods. If you choose to except his challenge you will be asked to find out were and when a certain person died. The only way to find the answer to his question is by feeding the Esophagor twice. The Esophagor is located at the bottom left of the Haunted Woods. This greedy (whatever it is) has a huge appetite consisting mostly of Halloween food. The best way of getting this Halloween food is by looking on the shop wiz. If the wiz is too pricey you could help Edna in the Witch’s Cave ( located above the Esophagor) by finding the missing ingredients for her spell. Edna will reward you with anywhere from 200 to 2,000nps and a Halloween food. The more times you help Edna the higher your reward becomes. Once you feed the Esophagor once he will tell you when the person you have been looking for died. Feed him a second time and he will tell you were he died. After getting this information you will be able to answer the Brain Trees Questions. If answered correctly he will give you a handsome amount of nps and a rare battle dome item good for fighting with or worth bundle of nps.

Make sure you accept the brain tree’s quest before feeding the Esophagor. If not the Esophagor will only give you some sort of organic food not nearly worth the nps you spent on him. Also, if you decide to help Edna remember that the Brain Tree dose time you (normally 50 to 60 minutes) so you don’t have all day to fool around. Another tip is to write what the Esophagor tells you. This might take you an extra minute or two but it will save you in the long run because The Esophagor will only tell you the answer once and it would be a shame to feed him and then forget what he told you. Last, I would not spend more the 20,000 to 30,000 nps for the Brain Tree quest. Once I spend 15,000nps and was rewarded 8, 523nps and an attack fork which I sold for 20,000nps. But I also spent 25,234nps before and was only rewarded 1,000nps and a Garlic Shield only worth 500nps.

Yes, I think helping the Brain Tree is a good idea if you follow the direction in the second paragraph. Even if you dont like to or just dont battle it still could be a good idea because you can sell the battle items or give them to a neofriend if youre feeling like being super nice. Feeding the Esophagor with out needing its help, is a very bad idea unless you like wasting nps. Like I said before he normally only rewards you with organic food not worth that much anyway. Helping Edna is a half and half chance of it being good or bad. I normally help her if she doesnt want you to spend too much nps and then put the Halloween items in my Safety Deposit Box for a rainy day. My advice would say help her once every week to two weeks and just keep the reward or sell them. – Tabbycat_541

This game is very similar to Frogger except you are in a mine shaft and you have to save petpets by running over wagons avoiding boulders and avoiding falling rocks. You can only carry one petpet at a time and you have a timer.

LEVEL 1 (req. 4): You have more than enough time to get four petpets and all the jewels. Your worst enemy this level is getting antsy and trying to force your way across the lava when the floaters just aren’t there. Take your time and only move forward when the next floater is absolutely in front of you. Don’t use your diagonal this level at all. Remember that when you get your fourth petpet back to the entrance, you move on to the next level automatically, so make sure you get all the jewels first!

LEVEL 2 (req. 6): This level you will certainly lose at least one life, either from running out of time or accident. This level, you’ve got to take more risks, like darting between the boulders and using your diagonal keys on the lava. Grab the petpets that are closest to you, then run back, but because of the way the lava works, just think GO FORWARD until you reach a petpet. Don’t try to get a petpet that is technically closer to the entrance when the floaters are arranged in a way that makes it easier to grab a different, farther away petpet. You will need every petpet you can get to make the 6 requirement.

LEVEL 3 (req. 8): By the time you get to this level, you will probably only have one or two lives left. The strategy here is the same as level 2, only be more opportunistic about jewels and things, since you probably won’t make it to the next level. That’s ok, because when the game is featured and even when it’s not the NP is really good. The basic points are tripled and then when it’s the featured game it’s doubled again. So you need a score of around 160 or so to make that max of 1000np on a featured day. – sharon_sgc

How The Game Works
The petal have begun to fall, and it is only a matter of time before the Enchanted rose is nothing but a thorny stem!! Its a race to save the Beast, to help him find his true love. Choose Chip, Mrs. Potts, or Cogsworth to guide through the obstacles of the West Wing.

Scoring
You’ve got to be nimble, and you’ve got to be quick! You’ve got to jump over those candle sticks! The only way to gain points in this game is to collect the petals. But you’ve got to be quick! Weave in and out of those candles as quick as possible, and dive for those petals! In the end, you’re score will be doubled in NeoPoints! How sweet a deal is that?

Lives
It seems to me Neopets LOVED the idea of the Goldfish game! So far Pillsbury Toaster Strudel Baskery, Feed Florg, AND The Table Of Enchantment have been based on this ‘life’ system. Whether it be PetPets, Toaster Strudels, or Petals, let five hit the ground and your gone!

NOTE:
In the upper left-hand corner, there will be the Enchanted Rose, which represents the amount of lives you have. Collecting petals does not get you more lives!! The only way to get anymore lives is to get the Magic Mirror!

The Guide. Finally!
No, I’ve only played this, well, who knows how many times. It gives out great NeoPoints, and it’s really quite easy! Now I don’t know if you noticed while playing this game, but many times in the higher levels the candles grow VERY close together. BUT, between two, there will be a space just a *little* bit bigger than the others – GO FOR IT! It may not look like you’ll make it, but any of the characters should be able to squeeze through Now, pressing the up button will speed make you go forward, but it won’t let you past half way. Even if it does sometime, I advise you stick near the back. You can do this by pressing down. Jumping candles, be VERY careful! This could get messy *nod nod* The only candles you can jump is those that have fallen-trust me! Now the game does speed up, and quite a bit. STICK NEAR THE BACK!

Well, rather short to what I would usually write, but it’s a rather straight forward game! I hope you find it helps you out, and if you have any further questions or comments, I have added how you can contact me at the bottom! – Razol

It is an excellent game that really tests your logic and problem solving skills.

Fill in the game board so that the numbers 1 through 9 occur exactly once in each row, column, and 3×3 box.

The numbers can appear in any order and diagonals are not considered.

Your initial game board will consist of several numbers that are already placed.

Those numbers cannot be changed.

Your goal is to fill in the empty squares and depending on the level you choose depends on how many empty squares you have to fill in.

On easy you have to fill in 28-31 empty cells. On medium you have to fill in 38-41 empty cells and on hard you have to fill in 48-51 empty cells.

The Roodoku board

Luckily for us the numbers light up if we hover our mouse over the certain number in smaller grid (the one that’s really tiny in a cage cell).

We can use this to our advantage. Regularly on each cage to start with there is a number that is already been put in at least 4-7 other cages.

If you just hover over each number and scan the surrounding cages you will soon find out which one it is. Then its just a process of elimination, but always try to start with the number that’s mostly already been put in for you.

You should always keep your eyes moving when your scanning individual numbers so you know which number is were before putting your number in.

Keep your eye out for highlighted numbers in your row, column or cage.

Tips

If you cant find the were the number goes then move to the next number and see what you can fill out.

If you go from 1-9 filling out the Roodoku in it might deem a little bit easier than you looking in cages for random numbers to go in.

So if you have to leave a number out then do so because you can come back to it later, and you usually find after you have been around the numbers once you can put a number in you had to leave out before.

Or can solve each cage individually but I must warn that there is a higher chance you could get muddled up, put too many numbers in a row or column or miss out numbers all together.

But if there are any single boxes in a cage, within a row or column try and work them out first because they will help you get closer to reaching your goal.

You can also try and do the rows and columns individually but this would be very hard and problems can easily arise this way.

You need a good balance between solving grids, columns and row.

And Lastly you have a very good strategy included in the game called “practice”.

Try having a few goes at this before you go at the real thing because it will get you in the right frame of mind for the game ahead and it will let you make your mistakes then instead of when you play the real thing.

The more you play Sudoku, the faster you would be able to notice the connections between the numbers and their correct placement. This is comparable to mind teasers which get better and easier to solve when you keep practicing them for better speed. – i_h8_this_game

The Neopian Stock Market is undoubtedly one of the best ways to gain neopoints in Neopets. Personally, I’ve amassed over 20 million neopoints using the stock market alone, and you can too.

The beginning
The Stock Market upon its advent, get this, had no restrictions on how many stocks you could buy daily! You could easily make 60 bajillion neopoints if you had the dosh ready in literally one hour. Now, Neopians are limited to 1,000 stock purchases a day. Poo!

They had no bankruptcy
Bankruptcy was unheard of in the beginning. Therefore, as long as you had the patience to wait things out, you were guaranteed to make millions of neopoints. Now-a-days, companies occasionally go bankrupt. Looks like Neopets wised up after awhile.

It still is one of the best places to make money
The stock market is one of the few areas that doesn’t discriminate against net connection speeds. Everything is ‘fair’ and if you’re willing to go for the long haul, you’ll become a multi-millionaire in no time. Guaranteed.

The Controls

This is one of the games which has fairly simple controls: Just the space bar (or mouse) in between levels and the left and right arrow keys!

What Neopets Wants You to Know

You use the right arrow key to paddle your right arm (as seen from your screen) and your vice versa with your left arm. Paddling with your right arm sends you left, paddling with your left sends you right! Pretty simple, huh? Anyway, now you must move your way through a river trying to hit as many yellow/gold orbs as you can!

You can also hit tree trunks for points too! The umbrellas give you a shield from the enemy (don’t worry, I am about to explain) but not from the whirlpools that pop your tube, making you lose a valuable life! Anyway, the enemy I mentioned earlier is the wild, spear-throwing Kiko!

They are very plentiful in the game and throw spears which pop your tube, only deflected by your umbrella shield. Don’t worry, they stay on the land, and don’t follow you into the water. Oh, and going into a waterfall gives you a slight speed boost, only really necessary to escape spears as the game is not timed. Make your way to the end of the 3rd level and the game is complete!

What Neopets Doesn’t Want You to Know

The entire game can be played by just holding down both the left and right arrow keys at once! You may be thinking: ‘Yeah, but you’d die straight away!’ Wrong! You don’t even have to look! For some bizarre reason, when you hold both keys down at once, the Kikos that throw spears at you don’t see you, and just keep looking upward for the entire game! No kidding! Here is a rough analysis of what you shall encounter if you just hold both keys down for the entire game:

Level One

You hit an umbrella and can use it as a shield! (If you are on the left side, which comes by default.)

Level Two

You narrowly miss 2 whirlpools.

You will most likely hit one whirlpool, third whirlpool you see, but you can avoid it if you really try!

Level Three

A few bonuses!

A waterfall (maybe).

Secrets and Tips!

When doing the “both arrow buttons” technique, press them down at the same time at the beginning of the game for best results.

The first level is in most cases completely harmless if using the “both arrow buttons” trick, so even if you don’t want to risk it for the other levels, do it for level one!

Try keeping to the right side (a good choice if you get caught out by the second level whirlpools a lot).

The third level is swamp land and therefore… HAS NO WHIRLPOOLS! If you are using the “both arrow buttons” technique, feel free to look away!

When you get past the FINISH banner, the game does not automatically end straight away, so don’t get worried! I usually just keep both left and right keys down in case, but after about 2 – 3 seconds the game screen fades to white.

Thanks for reading my first guide, and remember something very helpful: I have found that Tubular Kiko Racing is one of the games that is Featured (x2 NP!) quite a lot! Often more than once in a month! Good luck! – Alexmajor9

Meepits are probably the most feared Neopian things. Many are obsessed with their hypnotizing eyes and fluffy appearance. I am NOT obsessed with Meepits, nor do I fear them. They are just another ordinary petpet to me. They are easy to get obsessed with though, and I can see why many people are. Here are some facts about Meepits and other obsessions of many Neopians.

There are many things to get obsessed with in Neopia, and Meepits are just one of them. People can get a little overwhelmed with all the great things here. Try to stick to one topic. It gets a little overwhelming when you see a Meepit-themed shop, a Darigan-themed user lookup, or when each one of your pets has a different world-themed pet lookup. The next tip will help you narrow it down to just one.

If you are having a hard time deciding on what to be obsessed with, here is a tip for you. Let’s say that you are choosing between Meepits (a classic) and The Darkest Faerie (kind of gloomy). Make a chart listing the goods and bads for each one. For the Meepits, the goods would be that they are really cute, and a lot of people like them. The bads would be that you would not stand out from the crowd because a lot of people REALLY like Meepits, and it would be really hard to top them if you weren’t an HTML genius. For The Darkest Faerie, the goods would be that if she takes over Neopia, she wouldn’t destroy you. Well, maybe she would, but you wouldn’t be one of the first ones that she destroys. And the bad would be that people might think that you are weird because you like her. After you have the goods and the bads listed, you can make your decision, but you are on your own there.

The subject you’ve all been waiting for, the MEEPITS! They may seem cute and cuddly, but ask anybody, THEY ARE MOST CERTAINLY NOT!!! I am not a Meepit fanatic, but I do think they are creepy and quite hypnotizing. I am not the most qualified to tell you about them, but I will. If you are positively IN LOVE with them, then please seek other resources. All I know is that they are cute and fluffy, hypnotizing, and kind of creepy.

Please do not judge a book by its cover. Take, for instance, that Darigan-obsessed people are NOT always goth!!! I, myself am in LOVE with all things Darigan and am NOT goth. If you do judge people like this, it is an easy way to get yourself kicked off Neopets and to hurt someone’s feelings. This rule out of all four is the most important of all. – smitch2008
