Weekend: Hair cut and grilled cheese trucks? I think so!

Happy Monday lovelies! As you know, I love posting pics of how my weekend went, and this past weekend i did something DRASTIC. I cut off my bangs! I'm a huge "New Girl" fan, and if you're familiar with the show, then you're familiar with Cece and Jess. Both have amazing bangs, and they inspired my new do.

I drove down to my friends hair salon, and here is the before and after of how my hair turned out.

Such a huge difference! it's definitely going to take some getting used to, and having to "fix"them every morning is a drag, but the compliments I've been getting make it worth it!

The day after my hair cut, my boyfriend (who follows every lunch truck in southern California on twitter), found out that the "The Grilled Cheese Truck" was going to be in town. We raced over there for a treat :) and took these pictures while waiting in line..

Weekend Fun & Fashion

Happy Monday bloggers! Hope everyone had an incredible weekend! I know I did. The weather was beautiful and sunny in California, so it was time to bring out the bright colors!

On Friday night my boyfriend and I went down to TasteTea in Rowland Heights. This is the first time I had ever been here. I heard so many great things, so I just had to try it. They have the BEST smoothies, tea, lemonade, ever! I had this drink called the “Ooh La LA” It’s a mixture of coconut, strawberries, and green boba. Yum!! The place is located on a busy corner, and parking here was an adventure, but once you're able to actually get into the place, it's worth it!

Saturday was such a beautiful day so John and I decided to head down to the beach to walk around. We drove down to Huntington Beach and I had on the brightest cardigan ever lol. Here is my outfit that day. Sandals by day, Heels by night! It's amazing how heels can dress up a simple outfit.

Sunday we headed to Puente Hills' TGI-Fridays for their oh so delicious 2 for 20 deal :) There's a Best Buy near there, and I have been wanting to buy the Lana Del Rey CD since it came out. I have not purchased a CD in years! I had a $5 dollar off coupon for BestyBuy so my bf took me down there and I bought this CD for $4 with my coupon. I SCORED!! woo hoo! As you can see my weekend was pretty amazing, simple but fun, and i was with my love so that made it incredible!

By Popular Demand: The Rocco Bag Review!

Okay the time is here! I’ve been using the Rocco Bag look-a-like for a few weeks now, and let me begin by just saying, I’ve been turning heads! And it’s not my big butt this time lol jk! It’s all about the bag! This bag has the overall look and feel of the real thing, but does it measure up?

Well it depends on your expectations. Here is my review of the Rocco bag.

Exterior Look: You cannot go wrong with the exterior look and feel about the bag. Its stunning, it’s gorgeous, it’s chic yet edgy. Totally my style. The leather has this worn feel to it, it’s soft and it’s really difficult to notice it’s not real.

It also has a long adjustable strap. When I’m shopping I like to wear it on my shoulder and it still looks great.

Interior: It’s “ok”.
There’s a simple brown cloth material on the inside, great if you’re messy (like me) since makeup and lotion doesn’t seem to really show on this dark brown material, but the bag does have this particular “smell” to it. It doesn’t stink, but I can’t quite describe it, the smell is gone now after I’ve sprayed the inside with Justin Biebers’ "Someday" perfume lol. I guess the smell can be described as a “fake leather” smell. Either way it’s gone now.

The interior has two pockets one fits my iPhone perfectly and the other fits keys, or even large enough to fit a small note pad.

The size: The size of the bag I would describe as medium to large. I usually carry a bottle of water, a book, my make up bag, a perfume bottle, my monthly planner, and still have room left. I’ve even thrown my iPad in here once on a park trip. So it’s quite big but not bulky.

The studs: Studs are stunning ya’ll. I take this bag everywhere! I set it down on all kinds of surfaces, and the studs are still intact. They have this brassy look to them that give the bag its appeal.

Overall this bag is my favorite that I own. I own bags triple the price of this or more and I still haven’t been as happy as I have been with this bag. I’m sure you’ll love it!

The Perfect Shade of Pink.

One thing I always seem to get asked is what color/brand of lipstick I have on, and you'll be surprised by my answer. You can find this lipstick at your local drugstore! Today I decided to let you in on my little secret. Hint: It's what i named my blog after! My favorite lipstick to wear on a daily basis is Revlon's Matte Lipstick in "Pink Pout". It's amazing. I love the matte finish, It leaves a soft pink color, no messy glossy residue at all, and it's very natural looking. It retails at about $7.00 dollars. I only wear pinkish/nude colors, & from all that i have tried, Pink Pout is my favorite <33

Other colors that i also wear are:
MAC Lipstick in "Creme De Nude"
MAC Lipstick in "Myth"
Mac Lipstick in "Angel" (This color is the closest shade to Pink Pout) This color is also famously worn by Kim Kardashian

Alexander Wang Rocco Bag

So i've been eye-ing the Alexander Wang Rocco Bag for a while, but let's face it, I can't afford no $900 bag! I've seen so many celebrities with it and i just had to have it.

i'm so madly in love with all things studded, so i've been on the hunt for a similar bag. There's a big difference beetween a Replica and an inspired bag. A replica is a bag that is fake, but claims to be from the name brand. An Inpired bag, is a bag that simply looks like the real thing, but has no label on it. So i found a Rocco inspired bag, and it looks like the real deal!
