Daria James, vocalist with the new jazz band, "Daria and the Goodfellas", is an accomplished singer, choreographer, dancer, actor, director, who performs in Houston, the heart of the Texas Arts scene. Ms. James is an Austin Circle of Theater award winner, who began her theatre/dance career at the University of Houston. She later studied improvisation and puppetry with Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre in D.C., where she was also a member of The National Deaf Dance Theatre Company. She is also the host of “Build Green”, an HTV-Network (Houston municipal channel) environmental program.
