I attended this amazing Artisan Fair this last mothers day weekend...shopping entertainment, food and meet the most wonderful people. Just something being around other creative souls! Just like you have know them forever and make an immediate connection! My daughter Heidi helped me set up and do the show. We had a great show will definitely be going back! Hope to see everyone this weekend for the Gatherings Show here in Willows my shop will be open too 11 to 5pm
Time seems to be going bye in a whirlwind....busy with Easter, family, projects and work. Time to enjoy the weather, life, friends and seasons. Getting away for a little break with girlfriends and Spring. Remember to enjoy the simple things in life...they are the Best!
I received my Easter Egg carton from my partner Mercedes Scott. What a nice surprise! My carton was filled with pink vintage goodies...I loved everything! I have to say the vintage card and millinery pin were my favorites. After a really nice Easter with family and loved ones my swap package was a finish to a wonderful Easter. our partners...Debi Hunstman, Loraine Beaumont, and Mercedes Scott are the ladies I gathered for. It wasn't hard to fill the bags with goodies, but having to enough room. Sheesh those bags were, well mini! Can't wait to see what treasures will arrive in the mail...

Last evening we went to Chico to visit Nantucket for a special Soirée in honor of our cousin Corey Amaro of Tongue in Cheek. The was a marvelous gathering, lucious goodies and eye candy galore. Corey you were amazing! She spoke and answered questions about living life and blogging and adventures of brocanting in France so glad we were able to attend it was a special treat
I have always wanted to make an Altered
Art Book...mixed media. I had the opportunity to do a swap with my partner Terri Gordon. We were to take a book of our choosing and remake a cloth cover and transform pages with paper, textiles laces and images of Marie. This was one of my most challenging and favorite projects. It pushed me beyond the usual and help me create beyond my comfort zone. I have to say I was very pleased with the outcome. Terri is was my pleasure and pure joy and a labor of love. I am already starting on my next book!
