OMG!!! Latisse has to be one of the best products I have ever used and sold! Yes, I sell a lot of Latisse in my office, and if you've forgotten I am a Medical Aesthetician for a plastic surgeon. If your tired of wearing false lashes or have inadequate and short/thin lashes then this is a great product to try that actually works. It will grow your lashes out thicker, darker, and longer and what chick doesn't want luscious lashes!!! And no, it (latisse) doesn't pick and choose who it would like to be effective on, it works on all lashes, just a litte FYI! People are always asking me "will it work on my lashes?" O^o, lol!!! Anyhow, keep in mind Latisse is a prescription strength product and can typically be purchased right out of a participating physician's office or a prescription can be written as well. You get the maximum results in 16 weeks, however you can definitely see a difference within the first 3 weeks of using the product. The product is applied to the base of the upper lash line, once nightly with a disposable applicator wand. Very simple and easy!!! Now, I will always be honest so I'll tell you I did get a little irritation on the lid, but this is normal and it subsided in a few days. I always make it easy for you guys, so here's a link if you would like to research for yourselves. : )

DIY! Homemade Sugar Body Scrub!

Most of you know that I am a Medical Aesthetician, and eat, sleep and breath skin! I often times find that a lot of women exfoliate their faces but forget about the rest of their largest organ - THE SKIN FROM THE NECK DOWN! So I just wanted to let you junkies know that you can save a ton of money by making your own sugar body scrubs right at home. It's cheap, easy, and will have your skin smooth as a baby's butt! There are a host of different ways to do this however this is the simplest and most effective in my opinion. If you've got a granulated sugar at home and some olive oil then your on your way to smooth skin. You can also add a little essential oil of your liking just to give it a touch of fragrance.

Directions: Take 2 cups of the sugar *(the finer the better) and 1 cup of olive oil and place it in a bowl. You can also add several drops of an essential oil such as lavender to give it a relaxing or therapeutic fragrance. If you want to add more sugar or olive oil be my guest, this is your scrub, and there's no wrong way to really do this. Mix everything together with a spoon and VOILA, your own homemade sugar scrub. You can put it in a cute little jar and place it around your tub. Oh and these are great to be given as gifts too, *wink*. I recommend exfoliating your body at least once weekly to remove dead skin cells and rejuvenate your skin. It doesn't get any easier than this!

FYI: I typically apply my scrubs on semi-dry skin while I'm in the shower, before actually showering. I believe you obtain a nicer buff and polish when you scrub semi -dry skin opposed to wet.

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I would love to! My name is Hansa, my friends call me 'Hanz' by

which I have been known for a long time :) I have pretty much

been a workaholic for last 7-8 yrs of my life, so now I've

actually decided to slow down a lil and look at the more

'creative' side of me. Starting a blog is one of them! :)

How long have you been a blogger?

I've recently started - just over 6 months ago! But I'm blessed

with some fabulous readers and followers who have really

taken into my blog in such a short time.

How would (someone) describe your blogging style?

It would have to be personal and I tend to add my own humor

to it! Though mostly its relating to Fashion, I try and make it

relateable for all my readers.

How do you keep coming up with material/content for your blog?

The key is to share content which is inspiring. It could be a

great article somewhere Ive read or the latest editorial of one

of my favorite designers and I will make sure to share it. I also

like to change things up. My blog covers Fashion, Daily

inspiration, Guest blogs to My personal style and Decor. It has

many aspects for all readers to enjoy :)

How did you come up with the name Fashionista Era?

I was really thinking hard about it to be honest. I didn't want a

common name but I knew I wanted to cover aspects like

Fashion mostly. That lead me to the name 'Fashionista' and Era

was created as I feel its now time for Fashion. So the combination

of that makes it sound so good!

Where were you born and where do you currently reside?

I was born in South-east Asia and now I'm residing in Europe.

What's your fav television show, if there is such? ; )

I have so many! But my current favs are Vampire Diaries,

Friends (all time favorite I guess).

What is one of your main fashion pet peeves?

My nail polish, purse and handbag need to match!! I know its so

'girlie' but I absolutely love it like that.

Who's your favorite designer?

Elie Saab, Gustavo Cadile are my top favorites. They have such

great elegance and style blended with a lot of variation.

Where's your favorite store to shop and why?

H&M, Zara, Mango, Vera Moda, LV to name my top favorites.

The main reason I love to shop in these places is that its got

casual yet chic fashion. I always felt European fashion is far

superior than the rest of the globe. The fabric, texture and

overall styles are no less than the runway shows we see! I'm

total shopaholic when it comes to these lovely stores.

What makes you happy?

My family and friends for sure. They make me feel connected

and grounded and my husband definitely brings me alot ofhappiness and joy.

Would you ever like to become a designer and create your own

garments or accessories?

Absolutely would love that!! Maybe someday I plan to have my

own franchise and gain a lot of recognition.

How often do you blog?

I really enjoy blogging..I make it a point to blog at least 2-3

times a week. That keeps my readers glued in, its always good

to make sure you are in touch with the blogging world :)

What’s your favorite brand of cosmetics and why?

MAC and L'oreal products. Essentially because they have the

style and shades and the long lasting feature is another main

reason.

Who do you look up to?

My mom, shes a spiritual person and very motivating. She's

always taught me to be respectful of people and ensure that I'm

balanced and don't lose focus when it comes to my goals in life.

I am what I am because of my parents. I'm very grateful for

their support and I've felt they are like friends more than

parents!

What type of handbag are you carrying at this very moment?

I have a collection of over 15! My hubby wonders why I need

so many haha..But currently I use my Mango and LV bag very

frequently.

What's your favorite food?

It has to be my mom's food!! I miss it so much now that she's

away from me. Besides that, its mostly continental, Asian (Indian) and

Chinese.

What inspirational vitamin would you like to leave us with to

conclude this interview?

Make sure to be respectful to people. You really don't know

what battles people are fighting on a day to day basis and the

least you can do is be nice. It might actually make some one's

day better :))
