Obama- No Speaking- "Off the Cuff"

President Obama seems to provide gratuitous soundbites to Fox News and the terrible right -wing radio critics every time he speaks "off the cuff" and without the aid of his precious teleprompter. Because of this, the WH Administration has kept our inexperienced president on a short leash when addressing the press. If it is not a scripted interview with a friendly news outlet, the administration washes their hands of the idea. Now we are starting to witness the arrogance and thin-skin which the WH is beginning to operate concerning the press, avoiding then, ignoring them, and bypassing them whenever they see fit- Now the press is beginning to get angry... If this continues, it wont be long before they decide to get even...

Obama and his administration entered the White House coming off an intense primary against Hilary Clinton and prevailed in their election defeat of McCain by using a strict set of rules which they applied concerning how to control their message and image to the public through bypassing the national press. This strategy by Team Obama allowed their campaign to take their message directly to the masses by using the internet, in-house videos, and carefully orchestrated interviews which featured “softball” questions by friendly members of the main stream media.

At the time, the MSM was already so enthralled with Obama and disgusted with Bush (and any Republican) that they were more than willing to comply with his campaigns demands and write only flattering articles. This is one reason why many people still really have no idea who Barack Obama is as a man and politician. The media loved his story. They loved his race and intelligence and so they neglected to dig any deeper because they were absolutely stuck in the moment and saw themselves as the authors of his magical and mystical tale.

However, he remains, still a relatively blank slate, no one ever questioned his hundreds of “present” votes while in the Illinois Senate, researched his “questionable” associates and business partners in Chicago, or questioned why he wouldn’t release his college transcripts after he pledged he would in a primary debate with Clinton (Mrs. Clinton did keep her promise and released her thesis paper and call logs from the Clinton presidency)

Upon entering the White House, Obama pledged to have “The most open and transparent presidency that any president has had” and did this by releasing the WH visitor logs and improving the WH web content. This is not open or transparent and the press is beginning to get irked.

In today’s Politico.com, the cover story (Why Reporters are down on Obama) goes into great detail and great length (7 pages) to describe the daily battle the White House Correspondence Association has dealing with the WH and this Administration to gain access, obtain quotes, or to simply get a phone call returned.

It also provides instances of the Administration providing “scoops” to The New York Times and other newspapers which give them favorable coverage in their papers. The article also points out examples of how Press Sec. Robert Gibbs “favors” different news organizations during his daily press conferences by calling on the news organizations he trusts and ignoring ones who publish unflattering articles about the administration, such as The Wall Street Journal. This goes along with the administrations past efforts to marginalize Fox News as a “real” news organization because they question Obama’s Policy’s.

The article goes on to say that- “During his first year in office, President Bill Clinton did 252 such Q&A sessions—an average of one every weekday. Bush did 147. Obama did 46, according to Towson University Professor Martha Kumar.”

These Q&A sessions are just informal times when a president has a break and allows the press to ask them some questions pertaining to the country’s current events of that time. Obama’s 46, lowest of the past two presidents, provides another example of Obama’s hesitation to speak unscripted to the press.

For an Administration which prided itself on transparency and promises that continually, Obama and his staff have been more private and secretive than even the Bush presidency.

Lest forget the time when Obama slipped the press to leave the WH to attend his girls soccer game, a big no-no and major breach of presidential protocol.

Another gripe from the press pool occurs when the WH releases their own behind-the scenes coverage of events closed to the press which always portray the president and their guests in such a glowing light- Now, not that they shouldn’t be portrayed “glowingly” however, these videos are created by people on the WH payroll and are totally bias. Then these videos are released to all the major news organizations which air them as actual “news”.

What would be the problem with having the pool reporters capture their own coverage of the events that they are supposed to attend?
Yet, this is starting to be a real problem for the WH. The press is a notoriously fickle bunch, who thinks that they wield the power to make or break candidates and stories when they see fit. Obama and his team have decided, for better or worse, to continue to bypass the press by trying to take their messages directly to the people by stonewalling the press pool.

In doing this, they will eventually have to face the wrath of a press corp. who is agitated and feeling disrespected by an Administration which many inside the press probably feels they contributed in helping him to win the presidency.

The press turns on politicians with the flip of a coin- and no president has been able to ever fully escape the scrutiny and wrath it brings when they do. As such a thin-skinned administration, using such arrogance when dealing with the people who are responsible for handing you the keys to the presidency- may come back to haunt them.

Maybe Obama’s lack of “Off the Cuff” remarks stems from his dismal track record of speaking without a teleprompter. Some highlights from him speaking freely:

· "No, no. I have been practicing...I bowled a 129. It's like -- it was like Special Olympics, or something." - during an appearance on "The Tonight Show", March 19, 2009 (Obama later called the head of the Special Olympics to apologize)

· "The Cambridge police acted stupidly."

· "I didn't want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about doing any séances." -–after saying he had spoken with all the living presidents as he prepared to take office, Washington, D.C., Nov. 7, 2008 (Obama later called Nancy Reagan to apologize)

· "UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? It's the Post Office that's always having problems." –attempting to make the case for government-run healthcare, while simultaneously undercutting his own argument, Portsmouth, N.H., Aug. 11, 2009

· I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody." -- defending his tax plan to Joe the Plumber, who argued that Obama's policy hurts small-business owners like himself, Toledo, Ohio, Oct. 12, 2008

· "It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." –speaking at a San Francisco fundraiser about his troubles winning over some small-town, working-class voters, April 11, 2008

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer was sick and tired of waiting for the Obama Administration to finally provide her the much needed help to deal with the avalanche of crime stemming from the hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants crossing over the border from Mexico into her state. So as Arizona saw crime continue to rise and drugs continuing to pour across the border into her state, last week she signed into law a requirement that police can now ask the status of one’s citizenship.

Since then the Liberal mouthpiece has been wailing words such as- Gestapo! Hitler! Racist!

Rev. Al Sharpton vows to plan a march!

Obama said it was “misguided and over-reaching” “unfair”

San Francisco politicians have called to boycott the state!

In other words- SUCCESS! - An Amazing SUCCESS!

It’s the only way, as a conservative, you can sum up the liberal response to such a competent bill. I mean...Hmmm…. your telling me the Gov. of AZ said she will enforce a law, WHICH is already a LAW! Gosh, Liberals are geniuses!

Mr. President should ask that drug dealer who just committed a Federal Crime if he too thinks that its “unfair” that he was arrested while breaking the law as well. When someone is in the country illegally they have committed a crime, this makes them a criminal. There is no other first- world country in the world that allows someone of another country’s citizenship to just come waltzing in and welcomes them with open arms.

Like America, there is a process which one needs to go through to establish citizenship in that particular country. Why is everyone up in arms about this law just enacted in Arizona?

Why do we even go to the lengths to establish this process to allow people to become citizens if the Federal government will just decided to turn the other way when our FEDERAL LAW is being broken?

There are two ways to approach this uproar in AZ.

The first is to just decide once and for all to have no borders and no immigration policy. Anyone and Everyone can come to America and work, live, commit crimes, and get on welfare, etc… all without having to pay personal, city, state and federal taxes. They can come over and milk us for everything as we decided to be the “all welcoming world state” Obama wants us to be.

Or we can follow and enforce the laws we have established long ago, which our grandparents and great-grandparents had to endure and make everyone who would like to become a citizen get in the back of the line and wait, like everyone else! Then after you put in your time and show that you are ready to follow America’s laws and learn America’s language and support America’s tax infrastructure than we would be more than happy to present you with a citizenship card.

In fact, the slimy libs are all up in arms about the law because it requires people to show proof of their citizenship if asked, well once you obtain a green card, it is already (another) Federal Law that you must provide evidence of citizenship, should you be asked. This is for our own already legal citizens. So that negates the other liberal talking point about how it’s unfair for an American citizen to need to provide evidence of already being a citizen.

70% of Arizonians are FOR this bill, before all the high-minded, snooty NY liberals begins giving their 2 cents maybe they should go to AZ and check out the results of having years of unchecked illegal’s taking over their state.

The deserts are trashed with litter from migrant’s crossing over and using the states landscape as their own personal garbage dump. The homicide rate is through-the –roof with cartel killings and drug-related slayings and innocent ranchers are now being slain while simply working their land because they live along a popular smuggling route.

Phoenix, Arizona is presently #2 (after Mexico City) in the WORLD for highest number of kidnappings yearly. And according to Forbes.com-

Though nationwide crime was down 3.5% year over year in the first six months of 2008, the cities atop our list illustrate a disturbing trend: All 10 of the most dangerous cities were among those identified by the Department of Justice as transit points for Mexican drug cartels.

As Forbes discovered - Every city which a Mexican Drug Cartel uses as a transit point to deliver their drugs and weapons further down the distribution line, just happens to be one of the top ten most dangerous city’s in America. Can this be a coincidence? Or is it racist to suggest that the illegal aliens who scamper over the Mexican border into Arizona become drug mules for their cartels which bring violence to states not even remotely located near the border.

Unfortunately, the only way the Liberals won’t wail is when the violence begins affecting them. When a rich donor in Manhattan is robbed and killed by an illegal immigrant is when the drums will start to beat declaring what a travesty America has become and how peaceful places have now turned into the wild, wild, west.

And as the liberals whine and mope about, brainstorming “Self –Help” seminars for drug mules and cartel shot-callers, us independent citizens will not fear- because we aren’t slimy liberals waiting around for the tofu to appear, we are firm believers in the 2^nd amendment…something Obama hasn’t taken away yet!

Big Bertha :NUTS Run ACORN

Embattled ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis just doesn’t know when to keep her mouth shut.

When damning tapes surfaced showing ACORN officials in 5 cities giving advice to a fake pimp about how to obtain Federal funding to set-up brothels, the Federal Government was finally embarrassed enough to yank their Federal funds to ACORN. They immediately voted to suspend all future funding and suddenly the prominent inner- city organization that our new president worked with- became an overnight disgrace.

Bertha Lewis and ACORN went into super-spin mode. Ms. Lewis appeared on all the network news shows by making outlandish statements defending her employees and ACORN by saying that everything was taken out of context and this was all a big misunderstanding, but the damage was already done and with ACORN facing Federal probes for voter fraud in many states, most Democrats were quick to distance themselves from the organization which a few months earlier was the gold-standard for Federally funded inner-city non-profits.

Now, Ms. Lewis just cannot help but to insert foot into mouth as she brings more unwanted attention onto an eerie organization which provided the springboard to President Obama’s Presidential Campaign.

In a recent speech to the Young Democratic Socialists, the youth branch of the Democratic Socialists and the U.S. branch of the Socialist International, Bertha made some amazing comments concerning the Tea Party Movement, the direction our nations heading in, and her love of socialism.

"Any group that says, 'I'm young, I'm Democratic, and I'm a socialist,' is all right with me. You know that's no light thing to do -- to actually say, I'm a socialist -- because you guys know right now we are living in a time which is going to dwarf the McCarthy era. It is going to dwarf the internment during World War II. We are right now in a time that is going to dwarf the era of Jim Crow and segregation," Lewis said.

Whoa! This is the best you can find to lead your company? She thinks that the time we live in now, a time when we have elected a biracial President and a Latino Women for the Supreme Court- all in the past 18 months- and in a time when everyone has equal recognized rights under FEDERAL LAW- will be worse than Jim Crow and the Segregation era?

Wow! She obviously has a lot of confidence in President Obama running the country!

Amazingly, she continued with these comments concerning the Tea Party Protestors:

"This is not rhetoric or hyperbole -- this is real," Lewis said. "This rise of this Tea Party so-called movement -- bowel movement in my estimation -- and this blatant uncovering and ripping off the mask of racism."

So after telling the crowd that our nation is heading into a period worse than the Jim Crow Era, she blasts Tea Partiers by calling them “bowel movements” and accusing them of racism, which is a baseless accusation while conforming perfectly to the whole ACORN “victim” mentality thing they got going on.

The most incredible aspect of her whole speech was that during it she admitted that ACORN is “on life-support” because of the recent ruling to uphold their suspension of Federal funding. Bertha and ACORN needs to get a clue. How do you expect your organization to elicit sympathy to possibly regain funds or receive donations when your CEO – of all people- is suffering from verbal diarrhea? Especially in a time when the GOP has most Democratic Reps on the ropes coming into the 2010 election season? No one will put their job on the line to support this nut.

The scariest element to her comments was regarding socialism and the facts that she thinks it takes courage to stand-up and proclaim that you’re a socialist. This is because the CEO of ACORN is proudly declaring her love of Socialism, which would lead one to assume, that she works with other people who have equivalent views with her own.

This leads us back to our new President who has worked at ACORN and during his short stint as President has already taken over our nation’s: Health Care, Banking, Student-Loan Program, Car Company (GM) , and the Housing- Mortgage Industry.

Some people have even accused him of being a “Socialist” by doing this? I wonder how they came to that conclusion?

WHERE ARE THE JOBS!!????????

The White House spin cycle has been working overtime, with all their heavy hitters, on all the major channels still trying to pressure people into thinking that Health Care Reform (HCR) is the most pressing (and only) issue that American’s are currently worried about? We are witnessing this administration slowly lose America.

After the epic drumming Obama and the Democrats have taken in the recent polls, while having a supermajority in both the House and Senate, you would need to think they would at least try to refocus their agenda to creating jobs.

Instead, much to the dismay of the suffering middle-class they continue to ram this HCR agenda down our throats. This is neither what the public is asking for right now, nor what the public needs right now.

We need JOBS! How can a “supposed” unmatched intellectual such as are current president be so blind to this fact?

The $787 BILLION dollar stimulus which the President pushed through sloppily last February was done so on the premise and promise of putting American’s back to work by creating shovel ready projects, building roads, and bridges, and stopping the sky-rocketing unemployment our country is facing.

Instead, unemployment figures continue to grow, as fewer jobs are being created and even more are being lost, month after month. A stagnant 10.6% unemployment remains.

Meanwhile, the president continues to downplay his poll numbers as they continue their downward spiral, yet all politicians focus on their approval numbers and one as egotistical as Obama is surely scrutinizing them daily.

He has focused on Nukes, Green Energy Initiatives, Healthcare, and Cap and Trade, yet refuses to focus on job- creation. The only answer as to why he hasn’t shifted focus is because he doesn’t know how to solve the problem or what the country needs to escape this current unemployment rut.

Exactly the problem which occurs when electing a person for president who has never been in the job creation business or even worked in the private sector!

President Obama continues to let our country down. While more and more people realize how awful and expensive his landmark HCR is, more and more people begin to hate it and the government intrusion, taxes, and job LOSS, it will bring to normal Americans daily lives. This will be a huge problem for the Dems in 2010 and an even bigger problem for Obama in 2012.

Also as facts begin to emerge about Obama’s dealings with Wall Street and the donations he received from them, it will make matters for him worse.

People have a general mistrust of Politicians to begin with, but when one comes in promising the lofty “Change” which Obama did, they will take their general anger out at the polls and will not forget all his broken promises easily or quickly.

Obama passed the stimulus package by boldly declaring that it will create over 2.5 million “shovel ready” jobs which will immediately put Americans back to work.

Now, everyone has their shovels, but are still waiting for their jobs…

A Solution to America's Energy, Welfare, and Obesity Crisis?

Maricopa County, Arizona’s famous Sheriff Joe Arapaio, or “Sheriff Joe” is known for his unorthodox treatment of prisoners. He has saved the county millions by setting up a “tent city” which houses prisoners in outdoor military tents, provides inmates with three tiny meals equaling 2,400 calories total, and makes male prisoners wear cheap pink underwear- all to remind them that they broke the law and to think twice before doing it again in his jurisdiction. n

Well, Sheriff Joe just debuted another brilliant idea which consists of making inmates who want to watch TV pedal stationary bikes hooked up to generators in order to power their televisions. One hour of pedaling generates one hour of TV! Incredible, saves tax payer money, gets prisoners in shape and the ole Sheriff is going green, all at the same time.

This sparked an idea within me. After all the recent chatter coming from politicians about going green and using alternative sources of energy such as wind and solar as well as solving the unemployment crisis which is rampant in our country.

If we followed the good sheriff’s idea, we may just be able to do both at once and even take it a step further by helping America’s obesity problem.

Imagine if we hooked up stationary bicycles in major cities that are all powered into the same type of energy grid which Sheriff Joe uses, one that can harness the energy of the people cycling. Then instead of doling out the massive amounts of taxpayer funded welfare checks, we make the recipients peddle, every day, for a certain number of hours.

This ingenious method would help power cities cleanly, whip people into shape, and make them earn their welfare check- all at once!

There are almost no downsides to this solution. Everyone knows how long and expensive the process is to construct, assemble, and put-up the solar panels and wind-turbines in America. Not to mention figuring out the ways of correctly harnessing the energy they absorb.

This solution would solve all those problems and give electricity to buildings instantly!

Now, I don’t want to jump to conclusions and assume everyone on welfare wants to be on it, because that’s certainly not the case, but I’m sure after a few days of pedaling for six hours people may become more motivated to start looking for other jobs and get off the government dole.

Unfortunately, this ingenious idea created by Sheriff Joe and expanded on by me, will never see the light of day, because the current Politicians we have in office lack something that both Sheriff Joe and I have- COMMON SENSE!

Melting Steele

At a time when the GOP should be out embracing disgruntled independents, raising campaign funds for the EXTREMELY important mid-term elections, and plotting strategies to take back the House and Senate in 2010- instead are dealing with a Republican National Committee President who is determined to lead the GOP off a cliff- or at least hope they follow him- as he goes charging right over the edge.

RNC Chairman Steele’s behavior has been a never-ending roller coaster ride since he was elected. Besides making multiple embarrassing statements (some which included elements of race) and catching flack for redecorating his RNC office to the tune of $17,000, or billing the RNC for private flights and expensive care services, as he focused more on promoting his new book than raising funds for the party, which is what Mr. Steele has refused to address. However, after releasing the latest fundraising numbers in February, the RNC has spent $115 million and only raised $109 million- spending more than we raise is a liberal move.

Now, as the GOP should be in “serious mode “ preparing for its candidates final stretch before elections season begins- Chairman Steele is again bringing negative press to the RNC as it deals with a $1,200 reimbursement given to a donor who attended a LA sex-bondage themed club. As the MSM (predictably) runs-wild with any story that goes against the GOP’s “Family Values” grain, Steele decided to throw gasoline on the fire by responding to an interview in which he said “that he has a slimmer margin for error" because he is an African-American running the RNC. Just the type of inflammatory statement our party needs right now.

That was enough for his Chief-of-Staff and the RNC’s outside consulting group to both resign Monday, fleeing in embarrassment at a time when the GOP should be solid, not fractured.

Insiders recognize what an embarrassment he has been to the party, yet they have little chance of ousting him from within; because of this big-time GOP donors are fore-going donating directly to the RNC and instead giving their money to smaller, more centralized, and more focused fundraising groups comprised of state and local Republican Committees, to protest our leader’s irresponsible behavior.

Either way, the GOP is facing important mid-term election which they need to win, with or without the self-aggrandizing leadership of someone who’s made of more silly putty than Steele.

This Bill and Obama Stink!

The Heath Care Reform Bill which President Obama signed into law today leaves many questions unanswered about how the future will shape this bill and especially the effects it will have on the country in the next four years………
•The President, House, and Senators are all EXEMPT… THIS SHOULD TELL YOU HOW BAD THIS BS BILL IS. Why would they exempt themselves from something they think we need?
•We have no money to pay for this bill, the real “cost” issues are not addressed, and there is no “civilized” nation as populated as ours (with 300 million people) that has “socialized healthcare”
•Every American for the 1st time in our nation’s history must PAY, to be an American Citizen or face fine/ and or jail time.
•Taxes begin immediately while benefits begin……… FOUR years from now!
•The Senators and Reps. who voted for the passage of this bill were bribed and bought like common criminals; embarrassing the American Legislative process and showing how awful this plan is, or else their wouldn’t need to be such a massive display of corruption in America’s most sacred political landmark.
•President Obama is a huge, naïve, and egotistical fool, this ensures him as a one term president. When you sign a bill that brings the pain early and backloads the effects then be prepared to deal with the next 2.5 years of angry citizens being laid-off because of his miss-guided bill.
•What happened to Obama’s dog “BO” ? He was all the MSM could focus on for a few short days, suddenly he’s not anywhere in sight…. It may be a coincidence he disappeared right before Obama’s first official State Dinner…. With INDIA!!!

President Obama's B+?

President Obama, in a recent interview with Diane Sawyer was asked what he would give himself as a grade for his first year in office, without missing A beat Obama replied, “ solid B+”.

Now, dismissing the fact that most Presidents wouldn’t even fall into the trap of answering this question, especially when unemployment is continuing to rise every month, “Arrogant Obama” just couldn’t refuse.

Let’s take a look at his first year and try to figure out how Obama’s grading system works and why I couldn’t get a college professor to be as easy grading me as the grade he gave himself.

Obama’s first act of closing Guantanamo Bay has failed miserably. In fact, Obama who signed the Executive Order closing G-BAY on his 2^nd day in office, has had so much trouble with this topic that the Democratic Controlled Senate has refused his request for additional funds to upgrade existing prisons within the US, to meet the maximum- security standards which are applied at G-BAY. As of now, the 2010 budget is closed and the prisoners will not be moved until 2011 at the earliest.

Staying on the issue of terrorism, Obama again fumbled the ball along with his Attorney General Eric Holder, who decided to reverse Bush Administration policies and place Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) on trial as a civilian in NYC, instead of using Military Trials.

Obama and Holder allowed their liberal out-look to cloud their judgment and after the Mayor and Gov. of NY publicly spoke out against this awful decision and the cost it would incur on the city in both overtime and tourism dollars, the administration retreated from their original positions and are now in the process of trying to figure out how to escape this predicament.

Obama also wouldn’t come out and admit that the Fort Hood shooting, where Nidal was heard yelling “Allay Akbar” was not a terrorist attack. Wrong.

He also decided to allow the Christmas day bomber to lawyer up after his failed attempt to ignite an underwear bomb over Detroit. It has been reported that he was singing like a canary until informed that he had “the right to an attorney” which prompted him to immediately stop talking. On Homeland Security alone, he should have deducted at least a point.

Last February, Obama insisted on a “nation saving” $787 billion stimulus package in which he vowed would stop unemployment (was at 8.6%) from rising past 10%. Now, we have watched it rise almost every month as it hit a high of 10.8%, worried American’s are still waiting for the “millions” of jobs he promised Main St., as Wall St was rewarded with billions in bailout dollars.

Instead of pursuing an aggressive job creation plan, the President decided to use his majorities in both chambers to push unpopular legislation such as Cap-and Trade and Health Care, which were heavily, influenced by Unions and big money Liberals.

Obama decided to tackle huge problems such as HC and Global Warming instead of creating jobs, which may have avoided losses in VA and NJ’s Governors races, states that heavily favored and supported Obama in the election. Not to mention the embarrassing loss of Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat to a Republican.

Obama still has time to turn around his Presidency if he decides to slow the government spending down and focus on jobs. However, this seems unlikely. After his State of the Union, Obama made it clear that his agenda will not be swayed to the middle, which will hurt his party in the 2010 mid-term elections.

This will make passing any major bills even harder and lead to the gridlock which Bush suffered during his last 4 years.

While Obama spent his first year bowing to foreign leaders, making a failed bid to hold the Olympics in Chicago, and blaming Bush on anything and everything, He needs to start getting people jobs and slowing down foreclosures because if not, his first year B+, will lead to a first term president.

Obama willing to use the "Nuke" on Health Care

President Obama just announced that he is ready to use the controversial practice of “Reconciliation” to pass Health Care if he cannot get an up and down vote on the legislation soon.

Reconciliation is known on Capitol Hill as “The Nuclear Option” because it skirts the Senate rules of a majority vote and instead passes a bill with a mere 51 of 100 votes. Much less than the 61 which the democrats would need to pass Health Care reform using normal procedures.

After Republican Scott Brown’s stunning victory over Martha Coakley in Massachusetts for Ted Kennedy’s vacant Senate seat, most political pundits and politicians (especially Democrats) conceded that the process of passing major H.C reform was all but dead.

Now, Obama is going to announce passing it through reconciliation. This stunning announcement comes after President Obama recently held a “Health Care Summit” which included members of both parties and proved to be nothing more than a dog-and-pony show, as many predicted it would be.

The summit accomplished nothing and neither party was budging on how to formulate a low-cost, high-coverage plan, which in itself seems implausible. The President is simply not in tune with Middle-America’s concern’s over the tremendous deficit Health Care will add to our already out-of- control debt.

The problem lies with the MSM taking their talking points from the WH and smearing The Republican Party by saying that they are the party of “NO”. However, they and the President miss the point. We all understand that HC needs to be fixed and that costs are indeed spiraling out-of-control, except they refuse to allow Republican ideas be included in “their” bill. Republicans want a cap on Medical Malpractice Lawsuits, which will immediately eliminate many of the unnecessary procedures which doctors use simply to cover their back over future lawsuits. They also want to see a crackdown on Medicare and Medicaid fraud which runs rampant and pushes costs up for everyone else paying taxes into the system and Republicans are against state-provided abortions.

There are a few other points as well, but these seem to be the major ones on which neither party will budge. The three buyoffs of Senators continued to enrage an already angry general public and hurt the process as well.

As President Obama starts feeling the pressure to simply pass a “bill”, he has forced himself into a corner, one that will define his presidency over the next three years. He knows that he campaigned on HC reform and will look weak and lost if he cannot get a bill passed, however, if the bill doesn’t appeal to the ultra-liberal left they may abandon him come 2012. Already, the Obama had the chance to pass HC with the advantage of having control over both the House and Senate early in his presidency- and he blew it, then came the unexpected win of Brown, winning a seat that hasn’t been held by a Republican since 1972, which forces Obama to use Reconciliation simply to save face.

Americans are not dumb, but angry and as the Tea Party Protest’s have shown, and sick of being taxed and taxed and taxed. We know this is just yet another tax increase which will kill Middle- America. As Obama finished his HC Summit he stated that “This is what elections are for, If Americans like this bill he shall see in November” with the Democratic party already running scared, the term “Nuclear Option” couldn’t be more fitting- because if it passes, then it will obliterate the Democratic Party.

Escalating While Retreating?

On last Tuesday night, in front of attentive Cadets at West Point, President Obama laid out his long-awaited speech concerning his war strategy for Afghanistan. It had taken him months of deliberation to finally agree on a strategy for the war he considered “necessary” and “vital” during his presidential campaign.

Obama had begun to receive increasing criticism and pressure from both sides of the aisle- with Republicans urging the president to make a quicker decision and encouraging him to seriously consider following Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal’s request for an additional 40,000 troops. Democrats however have suddenly soured on the war and many within their ranks are beginning to question if we should even continue sending troops into the area at all. Some democrats have even called for a complete withdraw of US forces in Afghanistan.

For a president who ran his campaign on the fact that he never agreed with going to war with Iraq this puts the President into a peculiar position. President Obama is an anti-war democrat who gained a lot of support and money from powerful and important liberal, anti-war, grassroots movements like Moveon.org and Codepink. These groups are vital for his re-election campaign because of their influential connections, big donations, and extensive volunteer lists. He knows that it is important to remain on their good side; however he also knows that he cannot be seen as being weak internationally in a war which he has stated was important for the safety of our country and for the future stabilization of the region.

In the end, President Obama made a wise decision by committing an additional 30,000 troops to be deployed quickly to the region. This will provide an immediate “surge” of US forces- first of highly trained US Marines, then followed by the Army’s 10^th Mountain Division, with additional US troops being deployed shortly after.

The President made an intelligent choice by deploying a considerable number of troops to join the initial 21,000 he sent in February. By agreeing to send a substantial amount of US forces now it should prevent him from needing to send anymore additional troops over in the near future. If, for instance, he only committed 15,000 troops now and things began to turn for the worse in the theatre then Obama may have needed to send additional reinforcements- making his decision making seem shaky- especially when his general asked for a considerably higher number. For this Obama needs to be applauded. It also shows he understands that he knows how important his decision will be with independent voters when 2012 rolls around.

This strategy was inspiring because of the level of skepticism within his administration. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and Vice President Biden both were against sending more troops to the region and publicly displayed their feelings for committing additional troops. These doubts shown by some of his top aides may have contributed to President Obama’s prolonged decision, yet in the end, he went against his V.P and S.S and listened to his advisors from the Pentagon.

The only criticism I have concerning his plan was providing an 18 month timetable for withdraw.

“Taken together, these additional American and international troops will allow us to accelerate handing over responsibility to Afghan forces, and allow us to begin the transfer of our forces out of Afghanistan in July of 2011.”

Which coincidentally occurs right as campaign season for the 2012 presidential elections will start to begin.

For some reason, President Obama has become infatuated with these timelines and timetables for many of his policies. The problem with this is that he has yet to reach one of them. He will not be able to close Guantanamo Bay by the end of this year, as promised, didn’t meet his August 1^st Health Care legislation deadline, and has pushed back government incentives benefits, which he promised would be “temporary jolts”, but are looking more and more, like they will become new permanent government entitlement programs.

By setting an 18 month deadline to withdraw the troops in Afghanistan, he is essentially telling the Taliban and Al-Qaeda to take an extended vacation to their safe havens in Yemen or Somalia for a year or two then simply return because we will be gone. This doesn’t help to defeat the enemy; it just provides them with a game plan to regroup after our set 18 month deadline. The other problematic thing about this is that if he does not reach his prearranged withdraw by July 2011; he again, begins to lose trust with the public and it makes his administration look inept.

President Obama’s speech Tuesday night was average one for such a great orator, yet for a “dove” he showed some serious determination to try and defeat this dangerous enemy. I think that he is very worried about being a wartime president and realizes how quickly public perception can turn on its leaders when in war. I think that the president made a good decision and the right decision concerning his troop increase and now he will need to wait and see how he will respond when our troops inevitable begin dying in combat and if he will lose the war in the battle of the media.

As President Obama ended his speech he said:

“America - we are passing through a time of great trial. And the message that we send in the midst of these storms must be clear: that our cause is just, our resolve unwavering. We will go forward with the confidence that right makes might, and with the commitment to forge an America that is safer, a world that is more secure, and a future that represents not the deepest of fears but the highest of hopes. Thank you, God Bless you, God Bless our troops, and may God Bless the United States of America.”

As our President, I hope he has the unwavering resolve which he speaks of and the confidence to not be swayed by the media’s perception of this battle because he made the right decision and they brought this war to us and they need to pay dearly for messing with America.

Their Savior and Ours

Liberal loons continue to show their massive hypocrisy against any issue which they do not fully endorse. I call it hypocrisy because- remember- they are the accepting, tolerant, giving, and “compassionate” party who aren’t like “us”- who are bigots, racists, and sexists; not to mention war-mongering corporate shills. But with all the issues they degrade and try to marginalize us for- religion seems to be the one that personally bothers me the most.

Their utter disrespect and scorn towards organized religion (mainly Christianity) in this country is disgusting. Do they not remember that the principle reason our country was created and was founded by The Pilgrims- who fled the East Midlands of England -to escape the religious persecution they were facing.

The story of these brave adventurers who put their faith in God to guide them safely to the new world in hopes of simply being able to practice their faith freely is a central message of how our country was created as a “free” nation and forms the core of this amazing country. It is so important to our nation that Freedom of Religion was included in the First Amendment in The Bill of Rights-

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

It set the golden standard for the citizens of the world to take a chance and leave their motherland in order to allow themselves to express their beliefs without being persecuted or out casted by fellow countrymen who disagreed with their different faiths.

Now, America is losing the battle for religious freedoms as liberal atheists take every chance they get to disparage Americans who practice and believe in their own Savior. Except, the main target of these slimy liberals seems to be some of the most understanding, giving, and hardworking people in the country- American Christians and Catholics.

You never hear any one utter anything on the news about Islam or Judaism. In fact, many members of the media and press go out of their way as to not offend these religions. In Europe, a magazine printed a comic of Muhammad and the extremists rioted and killed simply over these images. It was a clear warning throughout the world to not mess with their Allah- and it worked.

Catholics especially are forever a target of the left, mostly because of their views on abortion and gay marriage (Christians also hold the same views) yet, our unwillingness to fight back against the rude and derogatory methods employed by these religion hating nuts further encourages them to continue to attack and mock our central belief in God.

As pompous and conceited as these people are, they have yet to realize the thousands of great deeds provided daily, through the generosity of Christians in America. Catholic and Christian churches provide food banks, run shelters and soup kitchens, provide counseling for prisoners, donate millions yearly to all types of worldwide charity’s and causes, and do countless other projects that help benefit and build communities.

This is one of the main reasons Republicans donate more money yearly to charity’s than liberals, because as liberals count on government intervention by taking (um I mean taxing) the rich, Christians- no matter how rich or poor- feel obligated to donate whatever they can to help the less fortunate. Most donate money, but many others donate time, building supplies, food, Christmas gifts and anything else that their church asks from them.

The hatred for the American Christian couldn’t have been more evident than when late-term abortion provider George Tiller was killed over the summer. All the media and liberal establishment could focus on was the “crazy religious right’ that is terrorizing our nation. Since Roe v. Wade passed over thirty-six years ago in 1973, a grand total of eight abortion doctors and workers have been murdered in the United States and Canada. Tiller's murder was the first of an American abortion doctor in the 21st century. Yet, this didn’t stop the media from portraying every Christian as a “crazy religious fundamentalist. However, after the recent Ft. Hood shootings they were silent and cautious in concluding that Maj. Hasan may have been a Muslim extremist. Again, because they know that we are a passive target that will not mobilize and riot, as other religions tend to do.

Recently the Washington, DC Archbishop said that if the District passes their Gay Marriage Law then they will stop taking the millions of dollars it receives from the City to use for its Catholic run shelters and soup kitchens. This has set off an uproar in the city with liberal print and television media portraying the church as a cold heartless villain. In an article written by The Washington Post’s Petula Dvorak:

“By trying to play political hardball with the District, no matter how carefully they word their objection to the bill, officials at the Archdiocese of Washington and Catholic Charities are telling our city's most vulnerable people -- homeless families, sick children, low-income mothers -- that they are willing to throw them on the table as a bargaining chip.What the Church is doing is an uncharitable and cruel maneuver.”

Yet she never considers the fact that the church is simply sticking to its religious convictions and is only a contractor for the city to help them deal with their problems. She also fails to mention that they will not be closing down any of their church funded shelters or kitchens only the ones receiving money from the City Government. Also, she could use her article to encourage gay and lesbian organizations to step up and volunteer to fill this space that the church wants to vacate. Yet, Liberals don’t want to get their hands dirty volunteering, they just enjoy criticizing the religious for actually having some backbone and saying listen if you pass this, it goes against our religion and we cannot in good conscience support that.

The response to this action by the Diocese in Washington drew even more venomous criticism in an article by Allison Kilkenny of The Huffington Post, a super liberal slimy and vulgar website. In her article she made all kinds of ridiculous statements which include:

“Oh. So this "Please Stop Being An Asshole, You Guys" law is really the thing that has sent the Archdiocese flying off a cliff. The child molestations, and filing sticky-fingered priests from diocese to diocese is all part of God's grand plan, but showing the slightest bit of consideration for gay couples is just too much. “

“Beyond being simply mean and intolerant, this is just a stupid strategy for the Catholic church to employ. It may be a symbol of religion, but the church is also a business that needs to expand its customer base, or it will become extinct like Greek polytheism or New Coke.”

“And don't give me that "It's in the Bible so we can't change our beliefs!" crap. Religions stray from the Bible's teachings all the time the second people realize they're being unspeakably cruel to a society's sect. The Bible was used to legitimize slavery, and yet we don't do that anymore, so surely Catholics can make the same jump when it comes to gay marriage.”
“The Bible also says you'll burn in hell for eating shellfish, and I guarantee lobster-eaters crowd the pews every Sunday all across this great land.”

“I have no tolerance for tax-exempt pyramid schemes that take money from poor people to build golden houses in Italy for a decrepit former Nazi youth, who now wears a funny hat and occasionally blathers in a dead language about hating gay people, suppressing women, and always -- always -- refusing to wear condoms.”

Now just imagine if she wrote an article condemning Islam for its abuses of women or using honor killings to justify acts of murder against their own children, that’s yet to happen from Ms. Killkenny because only the Catholic and Christians are the big bad wolf in todays America.

During the Health Care debate, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews railed against the Bishops for sending a lobbyist group to try and remove the “Abortion Provision” in the bill.

"The clergy should stay off Capitol Hill," MSNBC's Chris Matthews flatly declared on the November 10 "Hardball." Matthews fumed with disgust as Politico's Jonathan Allen told him that Catholic bishops lobbied Democrats to pass the pro-life Stupak Amendment to the Democratic health care reform bill last week.
            These are just some very recent examples of the intolerance that Liberals have over our religion. Their nastiness and behavior is so and sickening to me and is one of the main reason I get so bothered by their ignorance.There isn’t enough paper in the world to recognize all their examples of their religious hatred, but it just shows how outraged they become when they disagree with someone’s differing point of view. Like their treatment of Sarah Palin, they become consumed with totally destroying their target and will do anything in their power to accomplish that goal.
            Personally, Religion is a wonderful and necessary tool in my life. It provides me with everlasting guidance in my life, helps comfort me in times of need, and has taught me thousands of powerful lessons on how to be a better person, improve my life, and help out others who are in need. It gives me compassion and helps remind me to follow my moral compass, which it instilled in me. Growing up in a Catholic household and attending Catholic school was an amazing blessing that I will provide for my children.
            The majority of Christians are exactly like me and enjoy the warmth and comfort that God blesses us with on a daily basis. It is always in the back of my head that if I behave properly and follow Gods words that one day, after a short stint in Purgatory, I will enjoy the gift of everlasting life in Heaven. Many people feel the same way about this (except some of my close friends and their families think we get a straight pass to heaven, not sure about that one, but I hope your right Mrs. VDV)
            I feel bad for these people who have no one to turn to in their times of need and feel sorry for them- of course, now they think they do.

They have discovered their own savior, a man who was found in a reed basket floating down the Chicago River. A man who proclaimed that the waters will stop rising and that the earth will cool (once he gets elected), A man who promises peace in the world and the Middle-East, a man who will unilaterally cover every single American with healthcare at no cost to the deficit, A leader who saved the banks and stopped the recession, with a single speech. This young man will erase racism and provide clean energy and put shovels in every unemployed person’s hands, and a man who doesn’t even sweat. The liberal’s prayers have been answered- they found Barack Obama, Savior of the Universe.
The Liberals have found their young redeemer and cannot stop until they convert the world into their newly formed cult - anyone who speaks cruelly about this man- Off with their head!
However, I like my Savior just fine, and until Obama starts to multiply loaves and walk on water- you can keep yours- because mine suits me perfectly.

Do Not Resuscitate New Health Bill

Last Saturday, The House passed its $1 trillion dollar Healthcare overhaul 220-215, a razor thin margin that means it will most likely not make it through the Senate unless it has some serious “elective surgery”. Supporters called the passage a historic moment on par with the New Deal and the creation of Medicare. They said the bill will finally guarantee health coverage to nearly every American-except that it won’t. That’s one of the main facts eluding all the members of the House Ways and Means committee who gathered in their committee room, toasting glasses of red and white wine, while congratulating each other on Saturday night after the bills passage.

The bill includes a requirement for individuals to have health insurance and for larger businesses to provide it to their employees. Except it does not say who will provide it or how it will be provided, mainly who pays. In fact, this will end up hurting the very people that the Democrats are supposedly trying to help- the middle class. Out of the 14% of American’s who currently do not have a health care plan for many it’s not for a pre-existing condition or lack of funds- it is simply because they choose not to buy one, yet can afford one. It’s exactly like how people drive nice cars; yet still don’t buy insurance for them, even if it’s a law. They are living on the edge at our expense and could care less.

What this bill will essentially do is screw the middle class. By the government mandating that health insurance companies take patients with pre-existing conditions or have substandard health habits like obesity, smokers, etc… then the health insurance companies will inevitable begin feeling more losses because they can’t “cherry pick” healthy applicants anymore which will then result in the companies needing to pay for more care because of the unhealthy. So the healthy middle class worker will see their premiums rise to account for that cost. Then they will be forced out of private care and sent to the back of the line to wait with all the others participating in the government health option.

Now, if you’re poor or old you get government health care currently through Medicare and Medicaid. If you have unemployment benefits you get care and if you don’t have unemployment it means you’re over 21 and haven’t had a job, making you a bum or you’re an illegal alien and shouldn’t be receiving any benefits anyway.

Obama recently said he hasn’t ruled out possibly making it a crime not to have health care and could possibly use fines or jail time to ensure that people buy health care.

“What I think is appropriate is that in the same way that everybody has to get auto insurance and if you don't, you're subject to some penalty, that in this situation, if you have the ability to buy insurance, it's affordable and you choose not to do so, forcing you and me and everybody else to subsidize you, you know, there's a thousand dollar hidden tax that families all across America are -- are burdened by because of the fact that people don't have health insurance, you know, there's nothing wrong with a penalty. I think the general broad principle is simply that people who are paying for their health insurance aren't subsidizing folks who simply choose not to until they get sick and then suddenly they expect free health insurance. That's -- that's basic concept of responsibility that I think most Americans abide by,” Mr. Obama said, “penalties are appropriate for people who try to free ride the system and force others to pay for their health insurance.”

While I agree with what he is trying to say, the same thing is currently happening now and people don’t seem to be paying. The Healthcare bill currently penalizes people $1,000 for not having health care if they can afford it. They funny thing about this “fine” is that it would most likely be cheaper for a lot of kids my age who are just starting their careers to just take the $1,000 fine because it’s really not that much- compared to some plans. So this fine won’t even be effective.

And while the republicans won the battle over abortion, the Democratic Senators have made it clear they won’t pass it without the abortion provision which, means it will be in for a tough fight with middle- American Democratic pro-life Senators.

The bill is too big, too confusing and too costly…. time to pull the plug.

Calling a Spade a Spade

Maj. Nidal Hasan, the man accused of killing 13 people and wounding dozens of others last week during a shooting spree at Fort Hood was a US Army psychiatrist who was scheduled to deploy to Afghanistan within the month. The cowardly and psychotic act of violence that he undertook against our military is awful; unfortunately the main stream media are also acting like cowards by not providing its citizens with the correct amount of information pertaining to his “militant” Islamic associations and by downplaying the fact that this may have been an act of terrorism.

Most of the MSM- fearing US citizens will attack other innocent Muslims have decided to ignore some of the major facts surrounding this incident, with many newscasters trying to blame “stress” as the initial reason behind this incident- or by blaming his upcoming deployment on the tragedy. Here are some recent Headlines concerning the shooting:

Now, as Obama said to not to jump to conclusions (which is exactly what he did when he blamed the white officer in the Cambridge Cop abuse case)

Lets exam some of the facts surrounding this case:

Maj. Hasan was a Muslim extremist who’s “spiritual adviser", Imam Anwar al-Awlaki, - who had direct ties to the 9/11 attackers. The Imam has since been deported and lives in Yemen, where Maj. Hasan continued to have contact with him. He had tried to contact al-Qaida, and at least one U.S. intelligence official says the Army knew it. Hasan delivered an hour-long PowerPoint lecture to an audience of doctors at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, which included these statements:

“It's getting harder and harder for Muslims in the service to morally justify being in a military that seems constantly engaged against fellow Muslims.” Under comments, he wrote: “We love death more than you love life.” And his conclusion was that Muslim soldiers be given the option of being released from the military, as conscientious objectors, to decrease what he called “adverse events.”

And arguing that non-Muslims should be beheaded and have burning oil poured down their throats.

Hasan denounced the "war on terror" as a war against Islam and said Muslims should attack Americans in retaliation for the war in Iraq. During the attack, multiple SOLDIERS, including one who had been shot by Hasan, all claimed that Hasan shouted "Allah Akbar" (God is great) as he opened fire. A wounded soldier even reported this to CNN, however they disregarded his statement “as being foggy from adrenaline” and quickly glossed over it.

Now, if this isn’t enough evidence to maybe “jump to the conclusion” that this man was a homegrown terrorist then I don’t know what is. However, the MSM continues to drag its feet on this story and continues to blame gun control, PTSD, stress over deployment, and any other politically correct excuse liberals love using.

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews just proclaimed, "Apparently, he tried to contact al-Qaeda. Is that the point at which you say, ‘this guy is dangerous?' That's not a crime to call up al-Qaeda, is it? Is it?

This was are obviously not a “stress related” incident and Hasan showed many examples of his extreme beliefs in Islam which he espoused at many different times and many different places.

Again, as the media continues to “spin” stories their own way- others may end up getting killed or hurt because of it. A recent Newsbusters poll shows the media’s own current polling on this attack and the results are simply absurd:

Networks Decide Attack Wasn't Terror: 85 percent of the broadcast stories didn't mention the word "terror." ABC, CBS, and NBC evening news referenced terrorism connections to the Fort Hood attack just seven times in 48 reports.
ABC, CBS, NBC Follow White House Line: Before Obama's Nov. 10 speech, 93 percent of the stories had ignored any terror connection. But after Obama hinted at what ABC called "Islamic extremist views," all three networks mentioned terrorism.
Alleged Attacker's Muslim Faith Not Important Either: Slightly more than one-fourth (29 percent) of evening news reports mentioned that Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan was a Muslim. Of those, half (7 out of 14) defended the religion or included experts to do so.

This blatant miss-reporting needs to stop. Americans deserve to know the truth to prevent future incidents as well as to be aware of the signs which can prevent them from occurring. By not providing this, more Americans may be at risk and another attack could possibly occur in the future and as the old saying goes “If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck.”

The Curious Case of Kenneth Gladney

During the midst of the August congressional recess, concerned citizens from both political parties had begun engaging each other over increasingly uncivil protest about our nations plan for Universal Health Care. Most of these protests were unorganized, yet polite, as worried taxpayers confronted their representatives about the massive spending occurring on Capitol Hill and the ridiculous cost of their proposed Health Plan. Many of these citizens questioned how their representatives could be voting for a bill that they had admittedly never even read.

Across America the voices from these concerned taxpayers echoed louder and louder as their Congressional reps continued to condescend them and even cancel their own town hall events, blaming the hostile crowds from preventing them from engaging in “civil discussions”. (Like we all of a sudden live in Britain and drink tea with are pinky’s pointed out)

Then on August.6, The White House Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina was quoted as saying,

“If you get hit, we will punch back twice as hard,”

He was right. This comment came, after cable news shows had been airing “Town Halls” across the country showing Democratic Senators and Congressmen participating in disastrous meetings, where they were not able to answer simple questions from their constituents concerning the bill. Mr. Messina also encouraged Senators to get updated briefings on the bill so they would be able to answer questions properly.

Also, AFL-CIO President John Sweeney sent a detailed memo to his members advising them on how to handle the “Town Hall” Protestors- [in it he describes]:

"The principal battleground in the campaign will be town hall meetings and other gatherings with members of Congress in their home districts," reads the memo. "We want your help to organize major union participation to counter the right-wing "Tea-Party Patriots" who will try to disrupt those meetings, as they've been trying to do to meetings for the last month. ...

(Remember the hooligans - many of them Republican Congressional staff - who harassed Florida vote counters in 2000? We can't let that happen again!)."

So, the AFL-CIO planned to target 50 "high priority districts," in addition to organizing telephone town hall gatherings, to counteract these “protestors” (tax-paying citizens). Both the SEIU memo and the White House comments were released the same day that Patriot Kenneth Gladney was brutally beaten at a Town Hall rally by SEIU Thugs in St. Louis, for Rep. Russ Carnahan, a Missouri Democrat.

Many attendees at this event, were wearing purple t-shirts with “Organizing for America” emblazoned across the front in white letters and with SEIU written in the same white letters across the back. These thugs were clearly there for disrupting the event and for intimidating and screaming at the regular folks who had showed up to question Mr. Carnahan’s policies.

Meanwhile a 38 year old, African- American, named Kenneth Gladney was simply standing outside in the parking lot handing out American Flags and “Don’t Tread on Me” Flags to fellow patriotic Americans. Suddenly, a large black man, wearing a purple SEIU shirt approached Mr. Gladney, knocking the flags from his hand, while calling him, “A son of an N*****” before punching him in the side of the face.

After being punched and knocked to the ground, Mr. Gladney got up and tried to run across the parking lot- as more purple- shirted SEIU thugs chased him and caught up with him, jerking him back into the pavement, then stomping and beating him brutally.

Mr. Gladney suffered serious injuries which occurred during the assault. He is looking to prosecute both of the SEIU thugs who were arrested at the scene. However, they have claimed that Mr. Gladney started the fight; luckily, witnesses have come forward to corroborate Mr. Gladney’s claim.

However, it has been months since this beating occurred and still no charges have been formally filed against the two union mobsters who assaulted him- he also wants to charge them both with hate crimes. The SEIU has hired high-powered attorneys to defend their criminals; however the SEIU did deny both gangsters’ claims of workers compensation for the injuries they suffered during their beat -down of a peaceful citizen.

This was the second act of violence against the Health Care protestors. William Rice, a 65 year old from California had his finger partially bitten off by a protestor from Moveon.org during the same type of Town Hall meeting. Neither incident has gotten MSM press.

Since Mr. Gladney’s assault I have not seen and/ or heard from the notorious “civil rights” activists Rev. Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson, who I believe would be marching in protest demanding quick and severe punishment for such a hateful, racially motivated attack on a citizen, if he was a democrat things would be different. In fact, the media has barley even covered this event, with the only network still providing ongoing updates being Fox News.

It just shows the hypocrisy of the media in their coverage of these Town Hall events.

As the MSM calls republican protestors “teabaggers”, racists, rednecks, and hooligans- they seem to be the ones allowing this type of behavior to perpetuate. By not holding the SEIU and their thugs accountable and ignoring this crime in the media, it just furthers their amazing bias and shows the lack of professionalism they have. Hopefully, these criminals will be punished accordingly so these assaults don’t happen again- because next time someone just may die.

NUTTY NANCY

Come tomorrow, Congress will stay in session for a rare weekend vote lead by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, who is arrogantly overconfident that her 1,900 page Health Care Reform Bill will be passed ( more likely rammed) through congress. This coming just days after Democrats suffered heavy losses in Tuesday’s elections where states went blue just a year ago, turned Red.

This is classic Nancy Pelosi, so self-absorbed and egotistical that she will not consider waiting to bring this bill to the floor because during that time someone may actually end up reading it. It has already been discovered that she has added two new provisions into the bill which offer covered abortions and health coverage to illegal aliens.

As written, the House bill would allow plans offered through new insurance exchanges, set up for individuals without employer coverage, to cover abortion services. Two promises just weeks ago she claimed came from “Republican Operatives trying swift boat the bill”.

To understand how this woman works you need to understand her political past. She was the youngest of six well- educated political children who were all involved with politics at an early age. Her Father was a U.S Congressman as well as the Mayor of Baltimore. Growing up she would help her father around his office and even helped him maintain an “Enemy’s List” of the local politicians who had crossed him earlier in his political life and who would later ask for him for favors when he became Mayor- they were never granted. Mrs. Pelosi is said to continue this same practice today. Her bother Thomas III also became Mayor of Baltimore and her other brother Ronald was a City Supervisor in San Francisco who was instrumental in convincing Mrs. Pelosi to move out there to begin her political career.

She is among the wealthiest in Congress with over $19 million in holdings and has a Vineyard in California worth between $20-25 million.

After winning the 8^th congressional district in San Francisco in 1987 she ruthlessly worked her way up to House Minority leader, a position she held from 2003-2007. She won the 2007 Speaker of the House position with the backing of big time liberals- John Murtha, Rahm Emanuel, who nominated her, and longtime friend John Dingell (D, MI) whom she had swear her in.

She then spent the next two years bashing Bush at every possible moment and her penchant for speaking viciously about opponents has not subsided. She did vote for the war in Iraq, yet as the liberal pressure began to mount, she quickly tried to distance herself from the vote and used her soap-box to turn it into the President’s fault.

“Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process. Saddam Hussein certainly has chemical and biological weapons. There's no question about that."- Nov. 17, 2002

"Bush is an incompetent leader. In fact, he's not a leader,'' Pelosi said. "He's a person who has no judgment, no experience and no knowledge of the subjects that he has to decide upon.”His activities, his decisions, the results of his actions are what undermine his leadership, not my statement," Pelosi said. "My statements are just a statement of fact."

However, people have taken notice of the callus words she uses so freely and ferociously to attack a sitting president and her current approval rating stands at 34% in California and 17% nationwide, making them the lowest ratings in the country.

They will only shrink further if she can’t manage to get her diabolical Heath Care Bill passed on Saturday, in which she has managed to scare away many of her own democrats- which are so sorely needed to support and pass this bill. There will be 258 Democrats in the House by the time the vote takes place, but to secure the 218 votes needed for passage -- and with prospects dim for Republican converts -- Pelosi can afford to lose no more than 40 members of her caucus.

There are already Democrats questioning why Mrs. Pelosi is trying to move so quickly on this issue. Added New Jersey Democrat Bill Pascrell: "People who had weak knees before are going to have weaker knees now."

In addition many democrats and republicans on the Hill are worried that the bill hurts seniors to much pointing out its $400 billion cut in Medicare over the next ten years. Many politicians are beginning to realize how awful the bill is, quoted by Bob Michel: “The Democrats' health care bill frontloads the pain and backloads the gain,"

And the democrats would pay a huge price for passing a bill with no republican support. "What the exit polls showed was real voter fatigue with how crowded our plate is," Rep. Gerry Connolly of Virginia (D), chairman of his party's freshman class, told the New York Times. "We need to take a deep breath, step back and clean the plate before we add to it."

I didn’t think Democrats had much sense, but seeing this guy is from Virginia- he is absolutely spot on with his assessment. We need to get the economy going by stimulating growth through jobs- not by passing a bill that costs over $1 trillion in new spending. Yet, Nutty Nancy marches to the beat of her own arrogance and it may cost the democrats a lot of embarrassment if this bill, in fact, doesn’t pass over the weekend. Why won’t Mrs. Pelosi listen to her colleagues and try to slow this process down a tad?-Not many people know.

All week Pelosi has been fighting for support from pro-life democrats who are worried about the bills “abortion” provision. At the same time, she is trying to persuade other democrats who are worried what their constituents will think if they vote for a bill which allows coverage for illegal aliens. This balancing act requires a stronger and more skillful politician than Nancy Pelosi, who has been almost unwilling to bend ever in her political life.

Then, to make it even more difficult for Mrs. Pelosi to get this bill passed- it has came out that Democrats have deliberately not indexed two main tax features of their plan: the $500,000 threshold for the 5.4-percentage-point income tax surcharge; and the payroll level at which small businesses must pay a new 8% tax penalty for not offering health insurance.

Wow! Their goes the “No new taxes on people making under $250,000 or less”. By adding or actually hiding, these new taxes in this bill- Mrs. Pelosi will directly contradict the President of the United States in order for her to receive credit for this bill. Wonder how that will work out? To make matters worse for Mrs. Pelosi, The Wall Street Journal just published this important article today which- Everyone should read and pass to their friends:

“All of those twentysomethings who voted for Barack Obama last year are about to experience the change they haven't been waiting for: the return of income tax bracket creep. Buried in Nancy Pelosi's health-care bill is a provision that will partially repeal tax indexing for inflation, meaning that as their earnings rise over a lifetime these youngsters can look forward to paying higher rates even if their income gains aren't real…

This is a sneaky way for politicians to pry more money out of workers every year without having to legislate tax increases. The negative effects of failing to index compound over time, yielding a revenue windfall for government as the years go on. The House tax surcharge is estimated to raise $460.5 billion over 10 years, but only $30.9 billion in 2011, rising to $68.4 billion in 2019, according to the Joint Tax Committee.

This surcharge has also been sneakily written to apply to modified adjusted gross income, which means it applies to both capital gains and dividends that are taxed at lower rates. So the capital gains tax rate that is now 15% would increase in 2011 to 25.4% with the surcharge and repeal of the Bush tax rates. The tax rate on dividends would rise to 45% from 15% (5.4% plus the pre-Bush rate of 39.6%).”

So this is our new, deficit- neutral Health Care Bill, which as you can see will raise the capital gains tax from 15%-25.4%, the tax rated on dividends would rise an astonishing 30% in only TWO YEARS! And the tax surcharge would go from a mind blowing $30.9 billion to $68.4 billion in EIGHT YEARS!!! This with people makes less money because they are getting more taken out from the federal government!!!
This will be happening when we may not even be fully recovered from our current recession!

So as these crazy Liberals continue to spend and tax away my future we can be assured that Nutty Nancy will be doing just fine, sitting at her vineyard, sipping a fine chardonnay, not worrying about her healthcare, after all- Everyone from the Congress and Senate are exempt, So why should they so be worried about actually passing a bill that would help America- instead of one which will ruin it in the long run. What Makes Liberal's Lose...

It’s now final. Virginia and New Jersey, believe it or not, have both elected Republican Governors in an election which was supposed to validate Obama’s domination over the entire universe. Instead, it shows that the tide is turning against Liberal, big- government power. In 8 long months Obama has turned 2 blues states which he won convincingly into states that are now red.
Even as the New Jersey victory was stunning close with Christie winning with only a 5% point difference, it was 5% points more than the arrogant liberal, Ex-Gov. Corzine received. This may prove to be a major set-back to the Democratic Party as it begins to focus on many of its up-coming 2010 races, where once popular “liberal” democrats are trailing in the polls against anyone willing to sign up against them.
            The problem with the Democratic Party is that it is currently being controlled and ran by the most Liberal or “socially progressive”, elected officials our nation has ever seen. And the difficulty with this is that these arrogant, elitist liberals are the people holding the highest positions of power in Congress, The Senate, and The Presidency. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barack Obama have uncontested ultra-liberal records and while Obama campaigned from the center, his extreme drift to the left, while occupying the White House has left his more conservative Blue-Dog Democratic counterparts, exposed at his rear.
            Liberals and Democrats are two entirely different species of political monsters and The Pelosi-Reid-White House establishment can’t seem to grasp that they have the upper-hand in the legislative process and have overwhelming support in the Congress and Senate to pass any bill they want with a President who will not veto it.
            Except, the Liberals cannot stop turning up their noses at the Democratic Blue-Dogs in their own Party- Blue- Dog Democrats are mostly southern and mid-western people who are good, hard working folks that are fiscally conservative and have strong religious beliefs. They are not as progressive socially as liberals pertaining to same-sex marriage, abortion, and gun-control and are mostly democratic through their prior union affiliations.
            Liberals, however, are mostly big city, well-educated, wealthy, elitists who are for worldwide diplomacy instead of wars, strict gun- control laws, single-payer universal health care, stem-cell research, same-sex marriage, and of course, “cultural diversity”.
These types can be spotted or smelled a mile away, usually with a $4 low- fat, Starbucks venti vanilla mocha, wearing Birkenstocks and a Che Guevara t-shirt, gingerly hopping into their Toyota Prius, usually adorned with at least two (but often more) bumper-stickers, which mostly declare their hatred for G.W Bush, love for being a vegan, and of course the COEXIST sticker, spelled-out   in all different religious symbols including Wiccan. I would advise you to stay at least 15 feet away from these types.
This type of Democrat- the dreaded Liberal- is intent on ruining their own power base and alienating the Blue-Dog Democrats because of their colossal superiority and unwillingness to work with their the Blue-Dog counterparts to get everyone on board of their agendas.

When you have a super-majority in the House and the Senate, you should be able to own any bill in DC- however; it hasn’t started well for Obama and his clowns on the Hill. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barack Obama are the epitome of elite liberal’s intent on ruining our economy by creating unnecessary and job killing Climate- Change bills, and trying to spend and tax our way out of a recession. So far it’s been a miserable failure. Unemployment continues to rise as consumer spending continues to decline.
You Liberals now have the President and both the House and Senate, yet still cannot stop complaining about everything and anything. You have unmitigated power and still cry over Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and FOX News.

You had eight years of protesting the war in Iraq, Bush, Halliburton, and Cheney, now you don’t have anyone to blame but yourselves. You’re lost. You can mock tea parties and call them “tea baggers”, call us Republicans racist, or as Nancy Pelosi said “Un-American”, but when it’s all said and done, you need to now carry the water for the nation, and for your party, and it scares you to death.
What makes it so hard for Liberals to simply govern? Put your nose to the grindstone and start pushing through agendas that work, not simply big government initiatives like “Cash for Clunkers” that start with a bang then end in an economic fizzle, showing another reason why most American’s don’t trust the government to run their health care program.

They called President Bush a “Loser” and the MSM chuckled right along with them. They proclaimed the war “Lost” and voted against the” Surge”- announcing it a failure before it even began (it stabilized Iraq and was the turning point in the war-allowing Obama to begin withdraws early) and take the time to disrespect our military and soldiers at every chance they get. Rep. John Murtha went as far as accusing our U.S Marines of rape and murder at Haditha- where they all were found innocent under a War Crimes Tribunal. The soldiers are still waiting for an apology.

They whine and cry when they “discover” that Bush water-boarded THREE high level detainees, yet remain silent and quiet (for once) when one of our American soldiers is kidnapped and beheaded after being ruthlessly tortured. They must have forgotten all the innocent citizens who were forced to either jump to their death or get burned alive after two planes struck the Twin Towers on 9/11.
Pelosi then took office, vowing to impeach Bush and even voted against extra government funds going to Iraq. Then, she shrieked to the press about the terrible conditions at Walter Reed Medical Clinic (government run btw) while whining about U.S Soldiers not having enough body armor.
But it gets worse. They have Barbara Boxer, Waxman, Dodd, and Rangel, All coming from states with the highest current unemployment rates and coincidentally the highest national tax rates. As jobs (and people) flee NV, NY, MI and CA, these inept Senators and Congressmen have done nothing to help their starving states try to survive, besides alienating the company’s and factory’s which actually create jobs.
You would think they would notice why California has the most number of small businesses leaving daily, heading for Arizona and their lower business tax and employee income rates.Or why Florida and Texas have more than 1,000 new residents per day in their states. Could it be they have no state personal property taxes? Tax incentives draw tax payers to states, which then produce extra income to spend in the state.
New York and California, the highest national populations are still are in deep debt because they simply spend more than they make. Tax and Spend Liberals….They then just expect their constituents to fall in line, and go along with this program- as another Liberal- VP Joe Biden, proclaims,

“It your time to be patriotic, time to pay up”

This coming from a man who makes six figures annually, yet didn’t even donate over $3 grand to charities last year, no seriously! But what makes these miserable politicians so awful is the fact that they continue to argue and vote against things that have proven to work.

They lament and disparage “Trickledown Economics” but cannot account for the unprecedented growth under Reagan by using this formula. They cannot give one example of a society becoming successful from their way of “Bottom to top Economics”- which sounds as stupid as it really is!
First and foremost- The Government has NO money- None. The only money they receive is confiscated from you through taxes. Therefore, Liberals think by raising taxes on the contributors they can redistribute it to the non-contributors, yet they do not take into account the fact that eventually, as the tax rate rises, the contributor can simply stop producing, therefore becoming a non-contributor, which in turn produces less available money for the country. However, as they target “ rich” company owners through “fairness”, they forget that poor people are not the ones running the companies and eventually the company will pick up and move.

This is because the poor do not hire people, they do not employ people and they do not run corporations that create goods that can be bought or sold or bartered on the open market. They also don’t rely on factories to produce these goods or parts of these goods, which make products work. The poor don’t need to rely on truckers, and freight trains and the many ways of transporting these goods to the market, where once it arrives, workers then unpack, price, and stock these items for consumers to purchase.
But these people do rely on the owners of all these different companies for jobs. And when they get these jobs and begin working, they can start saving a little money and buy a new truck (or whatever)- made by their fellow workers- thus, stimulating the economy just a little bit.Then these workers realize that as they begin to master their jobs, they become real valuable to the factory owners and receive promotions, earning more to save or spend, thus further stimulating the economy.
Or they may take it one extra step and realize they can run a company more efficiently than their boss and start a rival company to compete against their old one.Or they will preach the importance of education to their children, so their children can do better for themselves and not need to work as hard- Much like the baby-boomers did with their children.
Yet, these slimy liberals don’t understand business so they decide that the big, rich, owner of the company, who invested his capital or life-savings- to take a chance- is suddenly making too much money and hurting the workers. So then, much like the mafia, they begin extorting them to death with taxes, regulations and absurd fees, which ends up creating the domino effect of store-worker, trucker, and factory worker- all on up- losing their jobs.

That’s Bottom up economics.

Then the poor’s misery becomes the Liberal’s bliss- because now you MUST turn to the government for unemployment benefits or welfare aid; and-

“A dependent vote is a dependable vote.”

But through all this regulating and taxing- the Liberals still don’t hurt the intended target- which is the big, rich, unfair, owner. They hurt the middle class worker who just saw his job go to Peru. They also seem to think that taxing the rich will somehow help the poor. (See above)
So as these rich, liberals continue to tax the wealthy the wealthy can and will simply stop producing their goods or services and/ or move their factory overseas. (See Michigan as example)

America has changed tremendously since slavery, the Civil War and terrible riots and upheaval of the 1960’s, where African- Americans were fighting against segregation to gain the basic social and civil rights which every human being deserves.

During this time many African- Americans were (among other horrible things) being denied jobs, food service, and educational opportunities that would effectively prevent them from being able to raise themselves and their families into more profitable future situations.

The civil rights movement helped to successfully raise our country’s awareness- both socially and politically- to begin righting some of our nations horrendous past practices that African -Americans suffered and to create the equality for EVERYONE, our four fathers meant when they stated- “All men are Created Equal.”

The turmoil of these riots prompted President Kennedy to impose “Executive Order 10925” which states- “affirmative action is to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, creed, color, or national origin."

It was a step in the right direction to help level the playing field for the melting pot our nation had turned into. Unfortunately, President Kennedy was assassinated before he was able to push through any of his more comprehensive legislation and the torch was passed to Lyndon Johnson.

Four years later LBJ called Affirmative Action, a major stepping stone to help the movement of African- Americans upwards in the USA and “To achieve true Freedom.”

In 1967, President Johnson took it one step further and amended a previous executive order on Equal Employment Opportunity to expressly mention "discrimination on account of sex" as well. Females would now be getting the governments support to stop the discrimination they suffered in the workplace as well.

These changes were instrumental in helping minorities and women to finally begin having better job opportunities and helped to create diversity among the American workforce. This helped many Americans begin to shed their previous held prejudices against people of different colors or religions

Gradually, our nation has become more accepting of others differences, and for the most part, people are now judged on their merit and intelligence, instead of simply their race.

In 2008 Americans witnessed a monumental moment when Barack Obama, a half white/ half black American, became the first non-white and biracial president in our nation’s history. It showed that Americans were ready to trust a candidate not based on anything besides how capable they would be in running the Country.

This should now officially shift the argument of A.A in America- to focus on financial inequalities as well.

Diversity in college and businesses are now common and while racism still exists, and will never be eradicated fully, and by acknowledging that racism is evil and awful -people should now be judged on merits and that’s it.

If you’re the best, smartest, hardest worker- you get the job.

There is no affirmative action for 5’6, 200 pound white basketball player in college, because they are no good and take up a spot others could benefit from and more importantly take away an “opportunity” for the better skilled, talented- White, Chinese, Latino, etc… player.

How does this work in NCAA sports but not in NCAA Education?

There are now opportunities for everyone- and people of all colors have realized the American dream through education and lots of hard work.

We have a women and an African American serving on the Supreme Court and just recently added a Latino women to this prestigious position, not-to mention the first female Speaker of the House- Nancy Pelosi.

Minorities and women serve in the House and Senate and are CEO’s of some of the most successful companies in the world. They got there through dedication, skill, and sacrifice and I’m sure every single one of them will tell you that.

Now Affirmative Action is having un-intended consequences that are beginning to hurt white (especially poor males) who are perfectly competent for jobs or academically competent to gain admission to state colleges but are being denied based on race, simply so colleges can meet certain quotas specified by the government to accept minorities, if state institutions do not follow these guidelines than they lose a substantial amount of state and government education funds.
This was included in LBJ’S 1965 Amendment to the original A.A bill and states:

“The order specifically requires certain organizations accepting federal funds to take affirmative action to increase employment of members of preferred racial or ethnic groups and women. Any organization with fifty or more employees and an aggregate revenue exceeding $50,000 from a single federal contract during a twelve month period must have a written affirmative action plan. This plan must include goals and timetables for achieving full utilization of women and members of racial minorities, in quotas based on an analysis of the current workforce compared to the availability in the general labor pool of women and members of racial minorities.

The order is enforced by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs of the Employment Standards Administration of the U. S. Department of Labor and by the Office of Civil Rights of the Justice Department.”

(It was later amended to also include state institutions as well)

So now we have a government law that requires diversity in schools and at the workplace that is inherently racist in itself. It states that a minority can be accepted to college or hired for a job based on their race and not their intelligence or capability’s.

Colleges have lower admission standards for minorities to help meet their quotas. So in essence the law is saying that just because of your ancestry the bar is lower for you and you are needed help to get into college or get a job, because you lack the smarts to do it with your own mind or hard work. That’s explicitly racist in their written words, the government is saying this not me.

Meanwhile, what happens to the poor Appalachian kid who happened to be born white and studied hard- getting great grades yet gets denied because of his race only?

Affirmative Action now has evolved into a scale which has become increasingly unbalanced with the lower class whites getting hit the hardest. It also encourages applicants to claim any “thread” of nationality that may have been mixed in their family decades ago and this allows them the opportunity to simply check whatever ethnic box they believe will help them in the admissions process.

With the progression of minorities and women in this nation, our country needs to now advance our Affirmative Action law to simply base the college admissions process on one’s family income only and get rid of any questions based on race, religion, ethnicity…etc

Admission needs to be based on grades- simply across the board for everyone. A poor country kid should be able to get the same treatment as a wealthy, suburban, minority who has worse grades and has lived a more privileged life.

Rural, white, adults aged 18-40, with only a High School education; make up the highest number of enlisted servicemen in our nation’s Armed Forces. Could A.A be a cause for this disparity?

So as our nation continues to advance in the right direction towards race and gender equality we now must take the next step to include financial discrimination to judge ones ability’s equally, and if anything, allow the less fortunate Americans the great opportunity to gain the same chances everyone else now receives.

As Martin Luther King famously said : “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

It’s now time we start following those wonderful words of wisdom…

Say Goodbye to Hollywood....

Hollywood is the destination of dreams for many people across the land, who crave the trappings of being rich, famous movie stars. Celebrities in “Tinsel Town” get paid absurd amounts of money, live in palatial estates, hobnob with the elites of the world and are recognized universally for the movies they write, produce, or star in.

However, when Hollywood opens their collective mouth you see how ignorant and isolated they are from the real world and how un-intelligent they are when not reading from a script.

Hollywood stars are outrageously liberal-which doesn’t matter to me- except when they consistently bash America and say outrageous things about our past president-all while praising communist dictators such as Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez, but there isn’t a more glaring recent example of Hollywood’s absolute eeriness than that of the case of director Roman Polanski.

part of a Quaalude then proceeded to have non-consensual oral, vaginal, and anal sex with her- as she repeatedly tried to refuse him.

After the rape, the victim went to the authority’s, who had enough evidence for a grand jury to issue a six-count indictment against the Polish-born director that included charges of rape, sodomy and lewd or lascivious act upon a child under 14.

Polanski’s lawyer managed to have the charges reduced to the single charge of "unlawful intercourse with a minor". He plead guilty to this charge, but before sentencing Polanski fled to France, avoiding any jail time which he would have served.

After arriving in France, Polanski began an affair with a 15 year old named Nastassja Kinski. This is a classic pattern of pedophile behavior and more importantly shows Mr.Polanski’s total disregard or remorse for his past crime. Roman Polanski is a disgusting pedophile who raped and sodomized a 14 year old girl and then became a fugitive of the law. Now the past has finally caught up to Mr. Polanski, after being on the run for 3 decades he has been arrested in Switzerland.

Most decent, law abiding, and intelligent individuals across the world would applaud this move, after when a crime is committed, especially one as heinous as this, the world becomes a safer place.

Pedophiles are considered the most evil and repulsive criminals. They rob young innocent children of their youth and the victims suffer the aftermath for the rest of their lives. In prisons, pedophiles are considered the lowest form of criminal and even hard-core seasoned convicts look down on them with disgust and target and alienate them from the rest of the general population. Even talking or associating with one could get you killed.

This is how serious even other prisoners take crimes committed on kids.

However, Hollywood through its arrogance and “high moral principles” has turned the criminal into the victim- with many stars and directors rallying around Mr. Polanski, defending him at all costs.

Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein was recently asked by The LA Times to comment on the situation and responded beautifully:

"Hollywood has the best moral compass, because it has compassion. Roman Polanski is a man who cares deeply about his art and its place in the world."

In fact Hollywood was so outraged at this extreme miscarriage of justice, Harvey Weinstein and his famous “moral compass” created a petition demanding the immediate release of Polanski and collected over 100 signatures (so far) from many Hollywood elites including:

Martin Scorsese, Woody Allen, Salman Rushdie, Natalie Portman, Harrison Ford, Pedro Almodovar, Monica Bellucci, Jonathan Demme, Terry Gilliam, John Landis, David Lynch, Tilda Swinton, Wim Wenders, Darren Aronofsky, Michael Mann, Julian Schnabel, Tom Tykwer, etc…. This petition was sent to French Officials and includes ridiculous statement such as:

“…. His arrest follows an American arrest warrant dating from 1978 against the filmmaker, in a case of morals…. Roman Polanski is a French citizen, a renowned and international artist… …now facing extradition. This extradition, if it takes place, will be heavy in consequences and will take away his freedom.

Filmmakers, actors, producers and technicians - everyone involved in international filmmaking - want him to know that he has their support and friendship. If only in the name of this friendship between our two countries, we demand the immediate release of Roman Polanski.

So a convicted pedophile and fugitive finally being captured to face the consequences of his horrendous crime elicits howls of anger from Hollywood’s elite-As they stated “In a case of morals- will get his freedom taken away- as they DEMAND his immediate release (as if he’s an innocent civilian being held hostage by Al-Qaeda).

As Hollywood constantly yaps about global warming, torturing at GITMO, Bush’s war crimes, and how stupid Sarah Palin is- nothing could be worse than their defense of this man.

Amazingly the media hasn’t responded as critically as they should, mostly because The LA Times supports Polanski- more stars continue to comment- all of them suffering from foot-in-mouth disease while showing their “compassion”, again not for the victim, but for the CRIMINAL!

Patricia Arquette – star of the TV show “Medium” told CNN that Polanski’s situation was: “Complicated”

Jillian Michaels from the hit TV show “Biggest Loser” said: “Who are we to judge?”

Whoopi Goldberg from “The View” – a show hosted entirely by women and aimed at a female audience sparked minor outrage by saying: “What Polanski did was not "rape-rape,"

Coming in first, though- with the most despicable and offensive of all- is author Gore Vidal. The vile comments he made during an interview with The Atlantic- Take the “Hollywood Elitism” cake

“I don't give a f---" about the Polanski case. "Look, am I going to sit and weep every time a young hooker feels as though she's been taken advantage of?"

"The idea that this girl was in her communion dress, a little angel all in white, being raped by this awful Jew, Polacko - that's what people were calling him - well, the story is totally different now from what it was then."

These common views held by Hollywood elite’s show their inherent disconnect from the real world. A child rapist is a child rapist- and Hollywood has allowed their “moral compass” to point in the wrong direction, yet again- the sad and scary thing is- it’s not their first time and it won’t be their last.

Blaming Bush

Obama has been president and Commander-in- Chief for 10 months now and he still hasn’t stopped refraining himself from blaming George W Bush for every tough decision he needs to make. His newest occurrence of “Bush Blaming” stems from his inability to make a policy decision regard the worsening situation on the ground in Afghanistan.

In October alone we have had 55 deaths in Afghanistan, making it the deadliest month since the war began in 2001.

Earlier in the week Obama stated:

“We are finally getting Afghan policy right after long years of drift”.

These comments directly conflict with the plan President Obama laid out six months ago when he made his major address announcing their administration’s own Afghan strategy with the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of State standing alongside him.

This major speech outlined his plan and strategy for the region, not Bush’s strategy. That was six months ago- and he still hasn’t enacted his plan- while more US soldiers die. Obama cannot take the responsibility or criticism for the casualties occurred during his watch and has callously pushed off the problems by blaming the past administration.

Last night on Fox News, syndicated Columnist, Charles Krauthammer Summed up his thoughts on this issue perfectly by saying:

“What is happening today is not as a result of the drift so-called in the Bush years. It is because of the drift in his years. It is because of the flaws in his own strategy, which is what he is now reexamining.

He has every right as commander in chief to reexamine his own strategy, but he ought to be honest, forthright, and courageous enough as the president to simply say I'm rethinking the strategy I adopted six months ago and not once again in a child-like way attack his predecessor.”

These comments couldn’t have been more on accurate.

President Obama has blamed Bush constantly for inheriting what he said (falsely) is

“ The worst economy since the Great Depression”( Reagan inherited a far worse economy stemming from the Carter years) and used this rhetoric to pass his extremely expensive, yet unproductive stimulus bill, which he promised would jumpstart the economy and prevent unemployment from rising past 8.5% by producing “millions of shovel ready” jobs.

Instead, unemployment has continued to rise (currently at 10.5%) and the dollar continues to fall, based on fears of inflation that stem from massive and uncontrolled spending.

Now, 8 months after this stimulus bill, which he passed, with no republican support in the house and only two Republican votes in the Senate, Obama once again cannot take the disapproval over the so-far failed stimulus by reminding everyone how awful Bush ruined the economy.

This pattern of continually making excuses and passing the blame is very worrisome not to mention a sign of extreme weakness being displayed by a president.

The president campaigned knowing that he had many different problems which needed to be tackled as the leader of our nation. He was elected because the majority of American’s believed he was more capable than Senator McCain to solve these problems. By forever blaming Bush, it conveys that Obama is either overwhelmed with the responsibilities which come from such a stressful job or that he is incapable about taking criticism for the policy’s he enacts.

This is very troubling for the future of our nation because no one likes people who make promises they can’t deliver on and American’s especially dislike politicians who won’t hold themselves responsible and complain about how bad the situation was when they entered it. They want to see leaders who solve problems not criticize the people who created them, especially when Obama is beginning to wrap up his first year in office.

Imagine if a newly hired coach of a struggling professional team constantly blamed their predecessor for not being able to win games after he has already been hired to coach. They wouldn’t last long in their profession because their job is to turn around the franchise by compiling a capable staff of proven winners, cut poor performers, and instill confidence and excitement into the players and fan base by encouraging them that their team is turning the page from the disappointments of the past. This is how our current president should be governing our nation- looking towards the bright prospects of the future and not rehashing the misery of the past.

As a supposed sports fan, Obama should know this and realize that blaming his past predecessor makes him look inept, weak, and incapable of performing a job that many American’s believed he could.

The indecision and nastiness coming from this administration and the president has caused his popularity to suffer dramatically. No newly elected American president has ever seen such a rapid and steep decline in the polls and he now owns the largest presidential polling drop EVER!

As his inexperience as a politician and two -year Senator becomes glaring obvious to the public and by engaging in petty- partisan politics- He is proving to everyone he isn’t what people thought he was- the problem is- he’s worse- and there’s no blaming Bush for that.

The Chicago Way

By now everyone who follows politics has heard the phrase, “The Chicago Way” as a term to define the method the current administration is running the White House. This phrase harks back to the rough-and-tumble style of politics that runs amuck in the windy city. This method is simply defined as a dog-eat-dog world for political survival. In the city of Chicago, their famous political phrase is “Vote early and Vote Often”- The Chicago Way.

Its main goals are to target their political enemies who disagree with their policies and try to marginalize and destroy them. They use many tactics to accomplish this and we are now witnessing just how The Chicago Way works as they call out different industries and portray them as the enemies with the help of the President’s fawning media.

Fox News, The Chamber of Commerce, Insurance Companies, Doctors, and Republicans have all been targeted by the administration for not bending to their will. The administration is seasoned in these types of political games and so far has done very well in turning the tide against their perceived “enemies”.

Many of White House staffers are savvy and seasoned veterans trained in this bare-knuckle style of win-at- all-costs Chicago Politics. Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod, John Podesta and Valerie Jarrett have all been schooled by the city’s unquestioned Democratic leader -Mayor Richard Daley- whose family has held the city under its corrupt thumb for the last four decades.

Daley’s Chicago Way includes giving out high paying jobs to family members and friends -including Valerie Jarrett who worked in the mayor’s office (her father was a close Daley associate), being investigated for numerous pay-for-play schemes, one which included giving his friends and drinking buddies, white guys with mob connections, $100 million in city affirmative action contracts, all the while receiving Obama’s support and encouragement while he was in the State Senate.

Why didn’t the master of “Hope and Change” denounce these many cases of criminal corruption? - Because his wife Michelle Obama- was working in the Mayor’s office –hand- in-hand with Mayor Daley-That’s the Chicago Way.

Barack Obama’s first taste of the Chicago way of politics occurred when he decided to run against the much liked civil rights activist, Alice Palmer who had previously lost her bid at a national congressional seat in congress and decided to re-run for the State Senate seat she had previously held.

Ms. Palmer-at the time was a good friend and mentor to Obama- and was a well-liked state representative for years in the Windy City. Many people advised the young Obama to wait his turn for a later state senate run. After all, he was still a young, ambitious fellow who had practiced Civil Rights Law at a Chicago Law firm for only 3 years at the time.

However, he was an ardent student of the Saul Alinsky methods of obtaining power through community agitation and organizing and put these practices to good use in his first real campaign against Ms. Palmer.

After Ms. Palmer had secured the necessary number of signatures to run as a candidate, Mr. Obama sent his aides to the courthouse to carefully examine all of Alice Palmer's signatures to see if enough could be disallowed to knock her off the ballot altogether. And indeed, some of Alice's signatures were fake.

The aides also found enough other fake signatures on opponents' ballot initiatives to knock them off the ballot as well. This maneuver cleared the path for an easy victory for Obama in his first successful run for the Illinois State Senate- That’s The Chicago Way.

Now that they are running the White House, Obama and Emanuel are creating a new list of perceived enemies as they go about discrediting those who are not in lockstep with their progressive agendas- That’s The Chicago Way.

Obama’s current Chief-of-Staff, the foul-mouthed Rahm Emanuel, whose been quoted as saying, “F#$% Republicans,” and a Chicago native, is a typically colorful figure, known for once mailing a rotting fish to a political opponent and while at a post-election dinner in 1992 he repeatedly stabbed a steak knife into a table as he yelled out the names of those he considered President Bill Clinton's enemies.

Currently he is responsible for leading the charge against Fox News in an attempt to harm the reputation of the news channel. He even went as far as barring President Obama from appearing on the network and has refused his staff to appear on the channel- That’s The Chicago Way.

Obama recently called out The Chamber of Commerce for going against the administration’s stance on Cap-and- Trade legislation and new consumer protection regulations because the Chamber thinks it will end up killing jobs in some of the thousands of businesses it represents.

Many democrats are anxious and frustrated that the White House would go after such a group which helps to promote and protect businesses and who have traditional always had a great working relationship with past administrations.

"The chamber represents thousands of businesses . . . most of which are apolitical," said Rep. James P. Moran, a Virginia Democrat. "I'm not sure that that is the appropriate target to go after."

Instead the Obama administration is trying to create its own “Business Roundtable” by encouraging large businesses to drop out of the Chamber and work directly with the White House. So far Apple and Nike have both dropped themselves from the Chamber with many companies now beginning to follow suit.

Who’s behind this major strategy? – Chicago Native- Valerie Jarrett, who added this to the change:

"Our strategy is to reach out directly to the business community," said Valerie Jarrett, the president's liaison to the corporate world. "This is a shift. Previously, the chamber had served as the sole intermediary for business. That's not our approach."
Jarrett also praised the Business Roundtable, saying that it brings member CEOs to White House meetings in addition to Washington lobbyists. - That’s The Chicago Way

Another example of Obama’s masterful use of the Chicago Way is when he began pushing his healthcare plan and initially accused doctors of performing useless and expensive operations on patients to collect a bigger paycheck.

When the AMA quickly denounced his comments perhaps Obama’s team realized it wasn’t smart to criticize the very people you’re trying to aggressively support in your new Health Care plan, they quickly shifted gears and began targeting the Insurance Company as the culprits behind our “broken” Health Care system. They accused them of making too much money, for dropping patients who had acne and other outrageous claims- with no factual support but claims that the media can hold on to and report as “real” news to help the public back the plan.

The Chicago Way will now be “The Washington Way” for the next four years as his advisors try to govern the only way they know how- through bullying and intimidation. After all this was the same man who told a campaign crowd in Philadelphia,

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun."

To bad he doesn’t act this tough globally- he’s too busy bowing to Saudi Kings, talking with Iran, and accommodating Russia and China in any way possible, that’s not The Chicago Way - that’s “The Obama Way”.

America's Global Warming Debate Begins to Thaw

As the recession continues to remain stagnant and with 49 of 50 states recently reporting job losses instead of job gains, Americans have put climate change on the back-burner as they become increasingly worried about their own future. Climate Change or Global Warming is an interesting and divisive topic in today’s political landscape because the tremendous amount of unemployed citizens has caused Congress to switch gears and focus on trying to revamp the economy instead of saving mother earth. This seems to be a better move politically as trees and plants cannot vote. The Democrats enjoy a super majority in Congress, yet even they are not stupid enough to pass a bad Cap-and-Trade bill which will do major and irreversible damage too many Midwest blue-collar industrial jobs including farming.

Climate Change is a very tricky pill for many to swallow because of all the misleading and down-right strange articles being published in newspapers about how and why it occurs.

I’ve read articles that promote sterilizing women to prevent global warming, one encouraging people to wear a special “green shirt” which has removable sleeves to use as toilet paper that can then be cleaned and reused, and many others blaming climate change on anything from cattle to big screen TV’s. Many environmentalists or believers in climate change cannot even give you the same answer if you ask the same question to two people separately. Anything and everything is now contributing to “Climate Change”. This funny term took over after having a few periods of cold weather; therefore people couldn’t say Global Warming so they simply rebranded their cause.

Some call “Climate Change” - Seasons. When I grew up, we had warm summers, brisk falls, cold winters, and beautiful, rainy springs. It doesn’t seem like much has changed since then. Currently, we are only in October and it has already snowed in New England and Michigan.

My whole point is that as an American who loves the outdoors I would hope everyone does their best to recycle and conserve the wonderful and majestic planet God created for us to use. I recycle, try not to litter, and pick-up trash whenever I see it out walking or fishing, nothing pisses me off more than seeing trash floating in the water. In fact, what many people don’t know is that there are currently more trees in America right now then there has ever been. This is because people have made trees an important commodity in world trade. By making trees valuable for use in an assortment of products- tree farms have popped up to ensure that trees will be available to consumers to create products. Therefore, tree farmers are ensuring to replant trees at a tremendous rate to maintain their businesses. Trees are important in creating oxygen by inhaling CO2 emissions.

However, to create a “Carbon Free” economy through Cap-and-Trade will kill our economy and push unemployment higher, deepening our current recession. Without having India and China (currently the world’s biggest polluters) on board any manufacturer in America will simply move their factories overseas where they won’t need to deal with the absurd regulations that will result from Cap-and-Trade. This will cost more Americans jobs, as well as, losing valuable tax money that these huge corporations pay. This has already occurred when the corporate tax rate was raised under Bill Clinton.

After Bush cut the rate, America saw 7 years of the lowest unemployment rate ever and received great fiscal success because by giving money back to the corporations they were able to expand, hire more workers, and build new factories.

Moreover it is estimated by the CBO that Cap -and -Trade will cost the average America family between $1,200-1,600 in higher yearly electric rates. This is another tax that won’t help our current economic problems. That money could be used for upgrading your house, buying new products, or anything else people want to spend it on- instead of writing another check to Uncle Sam.

Cap- and-Trade has major backing by big city liberal elitists who know nothing about the American Midwest. The Mid-West is built of many small farming communities which rely on heavy duty equipment to ensure that the food we eat gets to our table. Many of these people have never even ridden a subway, yet liberal politicians refuse to acknowledge that public transportation isn’t available for everyone, as they chide people for not riding buses, bicycles, or subways more often. And as they take over the car industry, they have constantly pressed for smaller and more fuel efficient cars, again forgetting the mid-western farmers will not be able to load bales of hay or large fence poles into their Prius’s.

A recent poll showed that only 51% of Americans now rank Climate Change as a pressing issue down 73% since last year’s poll. This dramatic drop shows the general public’s uneasiness with the cost and regulations that come with a bill promising such dramatic changes in carbon rationing. People are also smartening up to the fact that any cost occurred by the Cap and Trade bill by the producer will simply be absorbed by the consumer, thus raising prices on anything manufactured, farmed, shipped, imported, or created in America. Couple this with the $1,000 plus increase in your general electric bill and it creates quite a price increase for the average family.

Democrats continue to claim how we are being held hostage by the Middle East oil barons and OPEC, which is certainly true in many ways, yet they are adamant about not allowing our country to explore and cultivate our vast resources in Alaska and off-shore in the Gulf of Mexico where millions of barrels of oils exists.

They just continue to spread the myth that our country t will be able to solely rely on solar and wind power in the near future. Currently 0.03 % of America’s energy is created from these sources. This shows how unreliable and difficult it is to simply harness these methods. Not to mention that if we do switch to electric “smart” cars it will only increase power usage by creating a product that needs massive amounts of power when plugged in to charge for driving.

If Democrats really wanted a clean solution to carbon and energy problems they should follow the lead of France- the very country many liberals love- and consider nuclear energy. France generates 70% of their energy by this method and it is clean and safe.

However, it seems all they are willing to do is crush corporations and kill jobs in order to save the planet- they don’t seem to worry about the citizens they represent, as they continue to generate ideas that will fundamentally change our economy and way of life for years to come.

Obama's Endless Campaign

Then Presidential candidate Barack Obama and his team of campaign advisors including the new “Architect” David Axelrod did an extraordinary job of campaigning for the presidency in 2008. During the campaign Obama and his staff managed to re-write how modern day campaigns will now be run in the future. They used simply and catchy phrases to grab young voters attention and turned the candidate into the message by personifying Obama as “Hope and Change” for future politics. They mastered internet fundraising by soliciting small donations, recruited grass-root supporters and energizing young, first time voters by giving eloquent and soaring speeches, sometimes in front of crowds numbering over 80,000.

Yet, now 9 months into his presidency it seems all the campaign adulation President Obama received on the trail has gone to his head as he takes every available opportunity to leave the Oval office and hit the campaign trail again and again to push his agenda’s to the public (who can’t even vote for them) or to stump for Democratic candidates who are facing re-election in the fall.

By now everyone knows how difficult it had been for Obama to make a decision in the Illinois Senate with his record of simply voting “present”. Now, he seems to be continuing this disturbing pattern while governing the country as our President. He seems to flip-flop or push off pressing decisions for as long as possible while he continues to run his endless campaign.

Toby Harnden from the UK Telegraph writes this interesting tidbit:

“Next week's fundraising events in Florida and Virginia will bring to 24 the number of such functions he had headlined since entering office in January. During his first year in office, Mr Bush attended just six fundraisers.”

This staggering fact shows the eagerness the President displays to hit the campaign trail at any moment while continuing to dither on major decisions. He still seems unsure about his assessment to commit to the counter-insurgency plan he concocted in February concerning Afghanistan and has faltered on making the commitment to more troops in that region. Meanwhile, while he continues to hit the trail, U.S troop morale is reaching an all time low in that region.

President Obama was elected on the promise of being post-partisan to Washington and transforming the country. Thus far, he has won the support of only a single Republican for his health-care plan and has shown himself to be as aggressive a Democratic partisan in office as anyone in the fabled Clinton war room and attacking a news organization for ‘unfair’ coverage doesn’t help unite anything either.

Beyond the grand announcements, fine speeches and his eager acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize, Mr. Obama has yet to achieve anything of substance. It is time for his campaign to end.

Obama Fiddles while Afghanistan Burns

President Obama and his staff have once again called an audible on an important decision that requires immediate action. Instead of using the primetime Sunday news shows to give Americans the president’s plan on Afghanistan, David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel decided to attack an American news organization instead. This is becoming a disturbing pattern in this new administration. . Whether it is Rush Limbaugh or Fox News the Obama team continually tries to use “smoke and mirrors” on the American people to distract them from the real and urgent issues that we as Americans are facing today. When his top two advisors go on the Sunday talk show circuit and attack other Americans for “unfair”’ press, it diverts attention away from answering real questions.

The one that should be the most important now is will Obama follow General Stanley McChrystal’s (Commander of US and NATO Forces in Afghanistan) and Defense Secretary Robert Gate’s advice and increase the amount of troops in that region? So far, Obama and his crack team of Marxists, socialists, and communists, haven’t been able to even release the date of when Obama will make the decision. They cannot even decide when! To make it, less answer the request coming from his top Commanders in the field.

Meanwhile, “Sheriff Joe” Biden, has came out publicly calling for a complete withdraw from the region. This awesome plan would put Afghanistan right back into the hands of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda which would further enable them to regroup and create even more terrorist training camps as before because they would have the momentum and confidence caused by an American retreat.

VP Joe Biden has been wrong about every single war issue since he has been in the Senate. During the Clinton Administration he was for going to war with Bosnia and Kosovo, declaring it a “Humanitarian Must” and provided us with this gem of a quote:

“I came back to the Republicans and laid out the death camps in Kosovo, the rape camps in Bosnia — I laid it out in stark relief,” he told me. “These guys” — the Republicans — “said, ‘It’s not our business.’ What is so transformational in the last four years is that these a**holes who wouldn’t give President Clinton the authority to use force” have now become, he said, moral interventionists. “Give me a f**king break.”

He voted for the war in Iraq, and then 13 months later, was against it. He was the main lobbyist for breaking Iraq into three separate “autonomous” states where all the different religious sects would have their own separate country. He also said that Bush’s troop “surge” strategy (which was an astounding success) in Iraq was “absolutely the wrong strategy”.

During the campaign, he was for increasing the troop level in Afghanistan and said “we will do whatever it takes to finish the war there”. Of course, as VP, he was the first to advise President Obama to not increase the amount of troops in that region, a decision which Obama rejected and sent an additional 40,000 troops. Now, he is at it again urging the President not to increase the troop level even after the Generals and Pentagon are begging for help.

What happened to the VP being such a “humanitarian”? Has he not heard of the despicable ways the Afghan males treat the women or gays in their country?

Has he not read about how women are raped on sight, how they need to provide sex with their husbands on demand, or how if they are in a room with an un-married male they get disfigured by acid, caned or stoned to death. Or if they suspect you of being gay they make you jump off a high dive platform into a deep, empty, concrete shell -that used to be a pool, and if you survive your straight if not you must have been gay. Afghanistan has an atrocious record on civil and humanitarian rights. Under the Taliban they would bomb all-girl schools (which were set up on the sly) because women were not allowed an education and kill all the innocent people inside for helping them try to learn. What happened to our “Humanitarian Joe”?

Now as the situation becomes more and more urgent for the President to make that important “3am decision” he is doing anything and everything but to make it. It also shows the fracture in the Administration with how they will respond to the Generals thoughts. If the VP has doubts publicly it makes the President look bad if they turn out right.

Recently, Gen. Stanley McChrystal submitted an assessment stating that, without additional forces, the U.S. effort in Afghanistan “will likely result in failure.”

This statement by our top Commander in Afghanistan shouldn’t be taken lightly and as the violence in that area heats up, the press will begin pressuring the administration for an answer, I just hope that President Obama isn’t listening to “Sheriff Joe” on this one because he hasn’t been right yet and the violence continues to take our brave soldiers lives in Afghanistan as Obama fiddles in the States….

Liberals Rush to Judgement..... Again

The liberal main- stream media, race baiters such as Rev. Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson and other Democratic elitists have again, used the same worn-out rhetoric in convincing Dave Checkett and his management group to drop Rush Limbaugh (by using two fake racial quotes Mr. Limbaugh never said) therefore eliminating his chance of ever buying the St. Louis Rams, his hometown NFL team.

First and foremost, Mr. Limbaugh had two quotes that he DID NOT SAY attributed to him FALSELY, one which praised the man who killed MLK – James Earl Ray and the other which said something along the lines of slavery making towns safe at night for citizens. These two quotes were then hand-picked by the main stream media who then ran with these false quotes without checking the source. The source, a liberal author, had 24 hours to verify his comments and couldn’t do so, causing him to apologize to Mr. Limbaugh.

In fact, Mr. Limbaugh had his lawyers send letters to CNN, MSNBC, and sportswriters and newscasters such as Mike Wilbon, David Shuster, Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton and others demanding a retraction- whom begrudgingly took back their statements, yet didn’t apologize for them. Wilbon- a talented sportswriter for “The Washington Compost”- even danced around a specific apology in his latest column by writing this: "I'm not going to try and give specific examples of things Limbaugh has said over the years because I screwed up already doing that, repeating a quote attributed to Limbaugh (about slavery) which he has told me he simply did not say and does not reflect his feelings. I take him at his word. . . . "

It’s sad to think that professional journalists are so lazy now that they will take any quote posted online and use it to smear and slander someone’s reputation so viciously without even checking the source of the quote.

Since when has the NFL had such stringent standards it will go nutty by letting a conservative flex his American right to capitalism?

Imagine if whites protested when the rapper, JAY-Z purchased the New Jersey Nets because they were against his music being degrading to women and for glorifying inner-city violence with his music?

Rev. Jackson and Sharpton would have been right there, screaming racism, for not letting a minority own a basketball team. As Limbaugh points out in his Wall Street Journal neither one of these “Reverends” are squeaky clean either:

In 1998 Mr. Sharpton was found guilty of defamation and ordered to pay $65,000 for falsely accusing a New York prosecutor of rape in the 1987 Tawana Brawley case. He also played a leading role in the 1991 Crown Heights riot (he called neighborhood Jews "diamond merchants") and 1995 Freddie's Fashion Mart riot. Not to be outdone, Jesse Jackson, whose history includes anti-Semitic speech (in 1984 he referred to Jews as "Hymies" and to New York City as "Hymietown" in a Washington Post interview)”

It’s awful to use racism as a tool like these characters constantly do, but it’s even worse that they use the very same racism themselves, which they won’t tolerate from others. These examples, plus Jesse Jackson fathering an illegitimate child with an aide, while married and staying at the White House counseling President Clinton on his affair with Monica Lewinsky, is a pretty low moral standard for anybody, especially one wanting to call himself a “reverend”. We also all saw them fly down to Duke to castigate the lacrosse players there whom they have refused to apologize to as well. These guys are divisive!!

And when the NFL and especially, NFL President Roger Goodell commented on Rush Limbaugh as being “divisive” it is utterly absurd and beneath what the NFL should be focused on. They have allowed murderers, dog killers, and thugs into the league at a far higher rate than any other sport and having a “conservative” in the owner’s box wouldn’t be anything new. It’s just that this conservative had been branded by the scarlet letter- (or in this case) word- racist. A label that once applied is impossible to shake. Just ask Don Imus.

Iran- but not FOX News?

The Obama Administration made a bizarre move over the weekend by sending out their top two lieutenants- David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel to try and neutralize FOX News Station.

Obama and his staff have refused to appear on FOX News to give interviews and have talked to Iran quicker than they have FOX news. It was the White House’s latest move in trying to marginalize the conservative slanting news station, who hasn’t received favorable coverage from FOX in the past. Both Mr. Emanuel and Mr. Axelrod followed in the same footsteps of WH News Director, Anita Dunn, whom just last week stated,

“The reality of it is that Fox News often operates almost as either the research arm or the communications arm of the Republican Party. And it is not ideological... what I think is fair to say about Fox, and the way we view it, is that it is more of a wing of the Republican Party. Obviously [the President] will go on Fox because he engages with ideological opponents. He has done that before and he will do it again... when he goes on Fox he understands he is not going on it as a news network at this point. He is going on it to debate the opposition. [Fox is] widely viewed as a part of the Republican Party: take their talking points and put them on the air, take their opposition research and put it on the air. And that's fine. But let's not pretend they're a news organization like CNN is."

Both Axelrod and Emanuel basically echoed those same sentiments in agreeing FOX news wasn’t really a news station, but one with “perspective”. (Like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, don’t have their own “perspective”?)

These comments coming from such high ranking official’s in the WH indicates how thin- skinned and petty this president and his cronies may be during President Obama’s first term in the WH. The president needs to punch-up not down, he holds an office that signifies the man representing the most powerful nation in the world, which makes him the most powerful man in the world. His fights need to be focused on North Korea, Iran, or Afghanistan, not an American news outlet, especially one that is currently up 20% from this time last year and whose primetime lineup in ranked #1 in every demographic. Voters think this is petty and silly and frankly that the president should be worried about other issues.

This is also troubling because of the overwhelming support and lack of vetting Obama received from the media during his campaign. The notion that one channel, FOX News, dares to question an elected official, about his past connections- or for not blindly supporting his agenda is ludicrous.

The point of journalists is to dig up dirt in order to get the “scoop” on a good story-Whether it be having an illicit affair with an intern or receiving bribes from lobbyists to pass influential laws- journalists have time and time again, constantly been looking for the next big political mishap. They also are responsible for informing the viewer with information that may be detrimental to their own future, such as passing a $787 stimulus when we currently have a record $1.4 trillion deficit.

President Obama also still carries a grudge against FOX for exposing the Rev. Wright controversy, his past Bill Ayers connections, the ACORN scandal, and many other “news” worthy stories that other major news outlets have been slow picking up on. These stories being constantly looped on FOX news, along with FOX news commentators questioning the

“Obama Agenda” has caused Obama and the WH to stop appearing on FOX as well as, beginning this war with FOX News, it all seems so high school doesn’t it?

Its time that the Administration begins to move on from this petty war of words with other Americans and begin to focus on our real wars on two fronts- plus all the other pressing issues that our country is currently facing.

The president promised to move us past “the petty issues that divided us in the past”- right now he seems to be creating them.
