Ayala Triangle Gardens spectacular holiday display of dancing lights and sounds for the year 2013. Ayala Triangle Gardens Lights & Sounds Show was a display of 800,000 colored LED bulbs connected by 45,000 meters of cabling and with almost 500,000 digital channels dancing to Christmas medleys.

This year’s Christmas celebration in Makati gave a message of hope. That we can all make a difference by sharing our blessings to make it a more meaningful Christmas for those affected by typhoon Yolanda.

It gave everyone the opportunity to reach out and help our fellow Filipinos in Visayas affected by typhoon Yolanda. Donation boxes were placed around the Ayala Triangle Gardens and Tower One & Exchange Plaza fountain to allow people to drop cash donations of any amount.

The Tiger Mobile Application may be downloaded free in Apple and Android devices. It allows customers to search for the best flight deals, book flights, select seats and store personal information while on the go in their respective mobile phones.

Book Online-Pay in Cash, a partnership with 7/11 as an outlet for payments of flights booked online

Tigerair announced its partnership with the country’s top convenience store, 7/11. With the tie-up, passengers of the airline can now pay in cash through any of 7/11’s more than 780 branches nationwide, thus making payment transactions of its patrons easier and more convenient.

“We realize that not all our customers have credit cards so we decided to provide this service to them,” added Ramos.

Upon booking online at www.tigerair.com, the customer will receive a booking reservation code to be presented to any 7-11 branches to facilitate the cash payment.

Transfer Service for hassle-free travel from Kalibo Airport to Boracay

The Tiger Transfer Service makes it easier for passengers to travel from Kalibo International Airport all the way to the beautiful island of Boracay via a seamless multiple transfer service at the convenience of just one ticket. To facilitate said service, Tigerair sealed a deal with Southwest Tours Boracay Inc. under a specially-priced agreement.

Virgin Islet in Bantayan, Island Cebu

Your Bantayan Escapade wouldn't be complete without visiting the islets of Bantayan, specially Virgin Island (but technically an islet). A 15-minute ride from Sta. Fe using a motorized boat which usually rented up to Php800. Actually, we had no plan of going there since we were about to leave at 12:00pm that day. However, we were offered with a good deal at Php600 for a boat fee. We were unsure at first but then eventually decided to grab it. Before we left, we bought fresh squid+charcoal and rice. No foods are being sold in the islet so don't forget to bring some for lunch. You could just find sea foods sold on residential area just near the Sta. Fe Beach and let the Bangkero cook it in the Island but still you have to pay the resources used for cooking like spices and etc. Upon entry at Virgin Islet, you will need to pay Php200 per person as entrance fee and Php50 for the cottage rental.

These photos were taken just near the shoreline. You don't need to bring waterproof camera or a waterproof case because you can just shoot a fish or a group of fishes without drowning your camera.

PHILTOA launches the country's largest Tourism Expo!

If you've ever thought about taking a vacation and exploring the Philippines, now would be the best time to turn that idea into a reality.

It doesn't matter if you want a quiet retreat or a thrilling adventure; whether you're planning your honeymoon or just going out with friends, there is no shortage of options in the upcoming 23^rd Philippine Travel Mart (PTM) this coming August 10 to 12 at the SMX convention Center in Pasay City.

Now bigger than ever, the Philippine Travel Mart (PTM)—the longest-running travel trade show in the country—is set to showcase the Philippines in the upcoming Sale ng Bayan. Featuring heritage and eco-adventure tours from all over the Philippines, the 23^rd PTM is the result of various familiarization and exploration trips that bring new tour products into the market every year.

The annual event is organized by the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA), in cooperation with the Department of Tourism. With almost 250 exhibitors presenting their tour products through colorful pavilions and booths, the Sale ng Bayan will also launch “Philippine Island Fun Caravan Getaways”—joint group tours that cover various locations from all over the Philippines. These 4-day to 8-day tours pool local, balikbayan, and foreign tourists together to avail of special packages that would have otherwise cost a lot of money if done individually. Featured tours include the Batanes-Cagayan Northern-scape, Cordilleras Cultural Weekend Warrior Caravan, Central Visayas Backdoor tour, and the Tuna-T'Boli trail, among others.

“It has always been our goal to outdo ourselves every year,” says PHILTOA President Cesar Cruz, who is also the chairman of the upcoming PTM. “Innovation is key. We've been working closely with tour operators and government agencies alike to offer newer, better products yearly.”

Like most trade shows, the PTM will still feature classic destinations such as Bohol, Boracay, Cebu and Palawan. Also not to be missed are the individual tour packages that have anywhere from 70 to 80% discounted prices, such as “Kulinarya” (Binondo food trip for as low as P648), “Health and Wellness” (Tagaytay Wellness trip for as low as P2900), “Festivals” (Panagbenga trip for as low as P5500), and many more. Bantayan, Island in Cebu has always been compared to Boracay. It is popular by its powdery white sand beaches and crystal clear water. But Bantayan is more than just the beach, tranquility is what defines Bantayan Island.

Me and my best travel buddy, Gold, had a sojourn to the Island. On our day 2, I woke up around 5:00am to witness the sunrise. However, I was disappointed because it rained. I decided to go back to slumberland. Around 8:30am, we went to the resort's restaurant and ordered for breakfast. Menus are quite expensive. Fried danggit+sunny side up+fried rice+coffee+orange juice priced at 175Php per order. Taste was just so so and flies were all over the place, that really pissed me off. But what could we do? We just dealt with it because it was our choice anyway to eat at the rooftop bar. After we're done eating, we opted to take a nap on the hammock while waiting for the sun to come out. When finally the sun showed up, we went down the shore. We were actually eager enough to go swimming but to my dismay black jelly fishes were scattered on the shoreline. We saw a group of kids taking out the jelly fish and bury it on the sand. I asked them why is it that there were a lot of it that day, they said that black jelly fishes really appeared during the month of June. I was looking around and wondering if the other resorts had the same dilemma. We decided to rove around the adjacent resorts and observed that there were actually resort guests swimming on their beach front. I guess Jelly Fishes have already been scraped from the sea. I was wondering why tickety boo were not doing the same. Luckily, beaches in Bantayan are open to the public. That means you can do swimming anywhere you want even in front of the other resorts. We stopped in front of Beach Placid and soaked in the crystal clear blue water of the Island. I would say Bantayan Island has the best beach in Cebu and better than the crowded Boracay, right? A complete relaxation is what you'll get when you are in Bantayan Island. A swimming spree from around 10:00-2:00pm, how's that? It was actually cold down under the sea. We couldn't feel the heat of the sun and as a result, we were like grilled. Mapula-pula parang BBQ!:). Ayaw na sana nameng huminto eh pero gutom na kasi. Kaya siguro naging kulay BBQ na kami!:))

We took a quick shower and went to Sta. Fe Market. Saktong sakto sa hitsura namen, BBQ ang ulam for late lunch!:) Just an observation, foods in the Island are sold at a higher price. Maybe because it needs to be imported to the Island thus, transportation cost is added.

Right after our lunch we visited their public market. We were planning to buy fish/seafoods and have it cooked by the local. We learned it from trisikad drivers that there are locals near the resorts offering the service. However, we were not able to buy some because that time fish/seafood stocks were already unavailable. We just made use of the time visiting their church, Sto. Nino Church, roaming around the town center, bought chicheria, tanduay ice, etc. and off to tickety boo for a power nap. The trisikad driver offered us fresh buko juice for 20Php per buko which was available just beside the resort. It was contained in a pitcher (just don't forget to return the pitcher..hehe!) and if you would request for a cold one, they'll buy you an ice. It was also our way to sneak in our goods without getting charged with a corkage fee by letting the driver brought it together with the buko juice at the back door (the beach front) Good idea, right?:). Another cost-cutting tip!haha

To cover up my disappointment on failing to witness the sunrise, we stayed at the beach front as the sun set and enjoyed the rest of the night together! Time always runs fast when you're with the one that you want to spend the rest of your life!:)

Mr. and Mrs. Pinoy Biyahero in Bantayan Island Part 1:Getting There

Plan after plan, finally our summer vacation together had been pushed through. It wasn't Puerto Galera which was our first choice. Nasugbu Batangas was also on our list but it ended up to our third plan, Bantayan Island in Cebu!

Taking advantage of the June 12 Holiday, we decided to go on a vacation together. But, have you experienced travelling during sandwich day (a day between a weekend and a holiday)? You wanted to make it a long weekend however, finding an approval for a vacation leave from your boss is difficult so you are left with no choice but to invent a reason for a sick leave:)). I am not recommending for you to do this. Diskarte mo na yan!:)

So, let's start the story rolling! We went to Cebu North Bus Terminal around 1:30PM and looked for Hagnaya-bound bus. A dispatcher approached us if we want an aircon Hagnaya-bound bus. We said yes and followed him. We stepped inside thinking it was an air-conditioned but I just found that it was not when the real air-conditioned bus was about to leave. Anyway, we had no choice but to stay on that open-air bus. We left the Terminal around 2PM. We paid 123Php each, cheaper from the 150Php air-conditioned bus. If your looking for convenience, I would advise you to ride an air-conditioned bus specially during summer season because definitely that'd be friggin hot.

We arrived Hagnaya port around 4:30PM paid a terminal fee for 10Php each, purchased a ticket at Island Shipping ticket booth for 185Php per person (tourist class). If you opted for an economy class it will cost you 170Php each. It departed at around 5:15PM and reached Sta. Fe Port around 6:45PM and disembarked at around 7:00PM already.

Note: Bantayan Island is composed of three towns: Sta. Fe, Bantayan and Madridejos. Popular beaches are located at Sta. Fe, just adjacent to the Sta. Fe Port.

Upon disembarkation, tricycle and trisikad drivers are waiting to convince you for a ride. We chose a trisikad and helped us find a cheaper and good resort around Sta. Fe. What's good with trisikad is that you will be taken to a resort after resort for a fixed rate of 15Php per person until you find a good find. We were taken to Beach Placid, which they said one of the popular resort in Sta. Fe but 'twas fully booked.

We chose to stay at Tickety Boo Beach Resort. Although Tickety Boo was a bit far from the Town Proper, the room is big enough and it's cheaper of course. It is good for budget travelling. Their room space is quite big for 2 guests, with a queen size bed, a CR&shower. We took the Fan Room at 950Php per night for 2. Resort facilities available are: swimming pool, rooftop bar, restaurant, entertainment area (KTV & Billiard). Their restaurant closes at 8:00pm. No problem anyway, we advised the trisikad to take us back to the town proper where we can dine without paying any additional cost for the waiting time. A whole Lechon Manok (Smoked Chicken) was already enough for the two of us!Hahaha..Nde halatang gutom eh!:)) Then we headed back to Tickety Boo for a shower and rest.

Kalanggaman Island, Palompon's revived treasure

Kalanggaman Island is a place to be!

This Island is now slowly becoming a popular tourist destination. Many have already took a sojourn into the place some of these are the famous travel bloggers Enrico Dee of www.byahilo.com and Angel Juarez of www.lakwatsero.com. Unlike before, not only Palomponganons are now enjoying the beach. Travelers from neighboring Province such as Cebu and Foreigners have already came to experience the beautiful Island.

Kalanggaman Island (technically, an islet) is located in Palompon, Province of Leyte. It is an hour-away from the town.

As far as I know, this was privately owned by a businessman and then 'twas reacquired by the Municipal Government. (correct me if I'm wrong..)

Sinulog 2012 Festival Route Free Wi-Fi Access

Sinulog 2012 is made difference by PLDT as they establish Free Access Wi-Fi Zones in the Sinulog 2012 Festival Route. This means you can upload photos taken during the Sinulog Grand Parade in real-time. You can easily update your status on twitter, facebook, plurk, and etc.

There will be a substantial bandwidth pipe so that videos can also be captured in real-time and with less internet access problems.

This won't be an open access Wi-Fi network connection, however, user's name and password be provided for FREE once you register at the Wi-Fi Zones. A day at Pacific Cebu Resort for Christmas

We spent a day at Pacific Cebu Resort to celebrate Billing and AR Dept.'s X-mas Party. Pacific Cebu Resort is located in Suba Basbas, Lapu-Lapu City. We had the whole Sunday there eating, swimming, cam-whoring, the "bola^"(interminable talks) and all. Good thing I was invited to join them specially that I am alone..haha! Not that I am a loner but because I am the only one in my Dept. :)) But still, I was an interloper after all. haha! We started the day with the endless game "Category" :)). After getting tired of thinking other category, some of us decided to go swimming, some grabbed the chance to take pictures. We stealthily brought junk foods to munch and soft drinks while waiting for the food.

The buffet lunch was ready at around 11:00am. We were first to taste the foods served for the lunch. There was nothing special with the foods in the resort. I took some of calamares, fish fillet, beef steak and chop suey and a drink of Calamsi Juice. We went back to the tent beside the adult's pool. A bottle of tanduay w/ a liter of coke completed our meal :)). We started exchanging gifts and then we spent the rest of the day swimming and picture taking.

Palawan Day 2: Puerto Princesa Underground River Tour

My 2nd day in Palawan was a lot better. Waking up with excitement and full of energy after recovering from sickness. A good night sleep at Color Mansion helped and of course w/ my best nurse :).

Note: Room good for two at Color Mansion is 1500Php per night. It's quite big. It has a sala and a CR. It's airconditioned with cable TV.

At 07:30 in the morning we left Color Mansion. The van had to fetch the "joiners" in the group, who were two Malaysians. We dropped by at a fastfood chain to buy food for our breakfast. We just had our breakfast inside the Van in order not to delay our trip. We were excited, you know!=)

We had a stop over in the middle of the trip to stretch our muscles and to pee. And if you want to buy souvenir items you could find a store selling those.

Another stop over somewhere ( I forgot the place) where there is a viewing deck showing the Honda Bay. We spent just a few minutes there for a photo ops. There is a donation box to fund its maintenance.

When we passed by at this picturesque view, we requested our tourist guide to make a short stop so that we could have a clearer view and do the picture-taking. This is another cave in Palawan that has not been open for tourists since exploration is still on going. Soon, it will be another tourist spot in Palawan.

Around 10:30am, we've reached Sabang Port. However, we were advised to be back by 11:00am. Our tourist guide Sonny decided to take us at Sabang Beach for an early lunch while waiting for our schedule going to the Underground River entry point.

Sabang Beach has a tempting white sand beach and a clear blue water. As far as we want to go swimming, we couldn't. Swimming there is no longer allowed after one diver died when hit by the big waves, became unconscious and then drowned. It's dangerous to go swimming due to big waves since it's an open sea, facing the China Sea. Immediately after we're done with the photo ops, the buffet was ready for attack. Menu for lunch: grilled pork belly, grilled tuna, lechon manok, and ginisang kangkong w/ some dessert and fruits. Almost everything had a sweet taste. I did not enjoy the meal because I was suffering from tonsillitis that time. Obviously, people in Palawan loves sweet-tasting foods. Are they also sweet? Definitely maybe!:)

Enough for the eating. We went back to Sabang Port for our 11:00am schedule off to Puerto Princesa Underground River. The sea was not cooperating. The tourist guide from LGU decided to have 5 persons per motorized boats because of the unpleasant movement of the sea but since we were 9 in the group we had to utilize 2 motorized boat. Me and my girlfriend "Gold" were separated from the group.

We were very silent in the whole 15-minute ride because it was bumpy and we were with the Malaysians (baka mag-nose bleed kami eh!hehe). I was busy covering my camera from the waves. phew!

But, it was worth it! Seeing at the end of the ride a stunning view of the beach and rock formations. What a relief! =)

We had to register in a booth before heading off to the starting point. There were numerous tourists that day. They would only accommodate 600 tourists a day that is why you have to have a permit before you can go there. This is to control the number of tourists going. We had no problem securing permits because we just paid Php 1,500/pax to a travel agency. Php 1,500.00 inclusive of transportation (V-Hire) from Puerto Princesa to Sabang Port and vice versa. The lunch and boat transfer were also included.

We were #53 in the queue and still serving #47 so we just used the time taking pictures. We were even more excited to sit down on the boat and paddle inside the cave =)

It's almost our turn, we have to gear up now! Life vests (check), hard hats (check), picture taking (check)..lol!. Our Cave Guide Marvin started paddling and do the talking.

Important Rules to observe in the tour:

- Wear safety equipment

- Keep voice at a minimum while on tour

- Do not touch walls or other rock formations

- Do not scare cave dwellers

- Do not smoke, eat or throw waste inside the cave

Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park or commonly called as Puerto Princesa Underground River is measured to be 8.2 km-long and easily navigable up to 4.3km. The tour is only up to 1.5km or approximately 45mins but you can go beyond if you have a special permit. It would require two Cave guides because it's a bit a dangerous and a dead end.

Astounding view of the limestone karst landscape. The cave guide was really informative and entertaining. It was very dark and cold inside. The only light is just coming from the battery-operated spot light and this helped me capture the rock formations inside the cave. If you are bringing camera with just a low-light flash, it would be almost impossible for you to take photos inside. That witty stories of the Cave Guide broke the silence inside the cave. He started showing us the different rock formations from the Vegetable and Fruit Section: the Corn, Cocao, Banana Bud/Blossom, Ampalaya, Mushroom, Garlic. Next was The Cathedral, presenting The Holy Family, The Virgin Mary, Melted Candle and the half-faced Jesus and other rock formations like the Tiger, Lion, Smokey Mountain and the two men hanging on the chicken wing. Lastly and the main attraction, the holy shit formation..haha!rofl..

The 45-minute Cave Tour was out of the ordinary. It was a surreal experience! I'm running out of adjectives now, you can just look at the pictures below. :)

We went back to Sabang Port and off to Puerto Princesa City. We bought pasalubong at the Tiangge before heading back to the Color Mansion.

Palawan Day 1: Puerto Princesa City Tour

After travelling for more than an hour thru a budget arline from Cebu, we've reached Puerto Princesa Airport. We were fetched by a Multicab which we rented for our City Tour. We had our late lunch at Balinsasayaw Native Restaurant and at 2:00pm we proceeded with the tour.

Note: Rented Multicab costs us 1000Php for the tour around the city's tourist spots. It's the usual PUJ, so I guess at most 14 people could share.

First stop of our Puerto Princesa City Tour, Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center. There you could find crocodiles of different sizes and the skeleton of the 60-year old crocodile. There is also a crocodile breeding facility and a crocodile sanctuary for the big crocodiles. A mere cat is also there to entertain you, walking at your palms or wrapping around your neck. I also experienced touching a small crocodile but of course with a taped mouth =)). A fee Php30.00 is collected for a two solo and a group picture.

Then, we headed to Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm. This is one of the most talked about tourist spot in Puerto Princesa. Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm houses prisons which were transferred from Muntinlupa City Jail ( composed of captive Notorious criminals in the Philippines). This is I think the only jail facility in the Philippines detaining prisons inside a farm. They are forced to go farming and the likes because these serves as their punishment. Not the typical prison, they are free to walk around the farm, they can play outdoor games. They also have dancing inmates performing in their recreation hall and some has helped making and selling souvenir items for tourists. You would have a chance to chit chat with them. We even met two Cebuano prisoners who were caught because of murder. One has just two wait 4 more years and the other one was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Next stop, the Palawan Rancho commonly called Mitra's Ranch. This is the rest house of the late Senator Ramon Mitra. You would get to experience a break away from city life. Some of my group tried horseback riding. I was unfortunate that time because I was sick so I was just sitting at the grass feeling cold..hehe! And I was not able to try their Zipline. Nonetheless, I enjoyed.

Last place we have visited, the Baker's Hill. A snack haus and a park in one place. You could find lots of statues of Disney characters like Donald Duck,and etc. Christmas is in the air at Baker's Hill! Sta. Claus statue is there and the place is well-decorated w/ Christmas Symbols. Marilyn Monroe and other entertaining statues would make you mesmerized. A small playground for children is also built. Kids will surely love this place and all other ages too! =))

After we've completed the tour, we passed by at the Puerto Princesa Boulevard to look for a place to dine however, we found just a few food stalls so we decided to eat at the foodcourt inside a Supermarket. (tipid! =) ). Good thing we ate their because I was able to buy a bottle of water and an energy drink.

Though I was feeling really bad that time, it was still an extraordinary afternoon. A day that was!

FYI: Puerto Princesa City has no factory and has been tagged as a Carbon Neutral City (CNC).

Bohol Day Tour: Hanging Bridge

Last destination of our Bohol Day Tour, the Hanging Bridge. It is located in the Municipality of Sevilla, Bohol. The Hanging Bridge is approximately 40 meters long above the Sipatan River. It can hold up to 100 people at the same time. An entrance fee of Php10.00 per person is collected for the use of the Hanging Bridge.

When you reached the opposite side of the bridge, you'll find souvenir shops. You can buy "pasalubong" (bohol's delicacies, fashion accessories, home accessories, or souvenir shirts) at a cheapest price. That is why it is recommended for tourists to experience Sipatan Hanging Bridge and enjoy shopping at a lower price.

You would also meet the popular Buko King, the man who removes Coconut Husks using his teeth. He would have a short show if you want to and pay for a corresponding amount. The Buko King was once featured at a TV Show, Rated K.

Bohol Day Tour: Tarsier Sanctuary

One of the things that I was really looking forward to see during our Bohol Day Tour is the Tarsier. Right after the Chocolates Hills, we went straight to the Tarsier Sanctuary.

Tarsier Sanctuary is a habitat for the world's smallest primate, the Philippine Tarsier. This was made to protect this species from extinction.

Tarsier measures only between 8-16 cm from toe to head. Its head can be rotated to a 180 degree, they can also jump as high as 16ft. Tarsier's eyes is bigger than its brain. Its toes are used to grip branches. Its tail is longer than its body. Tarsier is put under stress when disturbed thru touching, a loud noise and moving the tree where they stay. Tarsier normally commit suicide when they are touched by humans simply because they are not used to it.

In Tarsier Sanctuary, tourists are advised not to touch the tarsiers and in taking pictures there should be no camer flash.

Bohol Day Tour: Chocolate Hills

The major part of the Bohol Day Tour Package, Chocolate Hills. This is the most famous tourist destination in Bohol. Located in Carmen, Bohol, Chocolate Hills belongs to the Natural Wonders of the World.

We went to the Chocolate Hills Complex for a best view of the Chocolate Hills. We needed to climb up a 200+ steps viewing deck and enjoy a 360 degrees view. The complex is located in Buenos Aires, Carmen Bohol. It has a restaurant, the viewing deck and Virgin Mary Grotto.

Chocolate Hills is composed of 1,247 chocolate-like hills. This is called Chocolate Hills because its color turns brown during summer season, looking like a Chocolate Hershey's Kisses.

In one myth, the Chocolate Hills is believed that it has existed because two giants were throwing dirt balls as they fight each other and the rains transformed it into cone-shape hills. Second myth is that it is a giant sobbing tears fell into the ground creating the hills. But originally, the Chocolate Hills used to undersea and it has drained away, that also explains why the hills made of limestone.

And, Chocolate Hills is another wonderful creation indeed!

Bohol Day Tour: Photo Souvenir Shop

On our way to Chocolate Hills, we had a short stop in a souvenir shop. It isn't just selling Bohol's premiere items but also souvenir photos. Photo backdrops printed with a photo of Chocolate Hills. We had a group jump shot photo, flying w/ a broom stick and an individual shoot.

You would surely enjoy it, specially for cam-whores :)) They are selling it in 3's. But what I am posting above are those taken using my camera.

Bohol Day Tour: Loboc River Cruise

Third stop of our Bohol Day Tour package is the Loboc River Cruise in the town of Loboc, Bohol Province..

Just the right time to feed our ravenous stomachs, we were brought in by the Van to Loboc River Cruise registration point to pay for our sumptuous brunch in the famous Loboc River Floating Restaurants. Meal is offered from 10:00am-2:00pm. We arrived around 11:00am and lined up with the bigger group of tourists. We paid Php100 per head as entrance fee and Php300 per head for unlimited food and the rests are for free aboard the Loboc River Floating Restaurant. The view, the entertainment, and priceless experience!

The Waiting Area and/or Docking Bay

But as we start to navigate in the Loboc River, we're even more fed with great views, festive and a relaxing atmosphere. The lunch is a buffet of local delicacies (mostly sea foods) while the band is playing a mix of OPM and POP music. A 1st class eating experience on board floating restaurants. The Floating restaurant can accommodate 50 people.

The cruise would pass the Busay Falls (a one a half meter falls), then goes back to the docking bay. We've witnessed a local performers, a local dance group dancing from the music played by the rondalla. The whole cruise took about 45 minutes. Another great Bohol experience! \m/

Bohol Day Tour: Alburquerque Zoo

Right after the Baclayon, we went straight to the Alburquerque Zoo in Sta. Filomena, Alburquerque, Bohol. It is where the world's longest and biggest Python in captivity is located. Prony is a 25-foot long and 200 kilo in weight. It was captured last 1996 and named after his captor and owner Safronio Salibay.

Though Alburquerque Zoo is just smaller than any popular Zoo but it houses several kinds of animals such as Leopard, Palm Civet-Cat, King Cobra, Iguana, Owl, Ostrich, Bald-headed Eagle, Birds, other species of snake and other animals. Entrance Fee is only Php5.00 and you may donate (optional) a small amount for the feeding of animals and maintenance of the Zoo.

Bohol Day Tour: Baclayon Church

The next destination of our Panglao Day Tour is at the Baclayon Chuch. Located in the town of Baclayon in the province of Bohol, the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Concepcion is considered as the oldest Coral Stone Church in the region. It is also one of the oldest in Asia and foremost among the best-preserved Jesuit-built Churches in the Philippines. Baclayon Church houses old religious relics and the famous museum.

Baclayon Church is 6 km-away from Tagbilaran City. It can be reached thru a Jeepney or Tricycle that passes by. And, if you avail the Panglao Day Tour Package, you will be taken there thru a Van.
