Tinuy-an Falls

Touted as the Niagara Falls of the Philippines, Tinuy-an Falls is a white water curtain that flows in 3 levels and is said to be one of the widest waterfalls in the Philippines, and so far is the best in the country because of its majestic natural formation, covered beautifully with rainforest.

Bathing in its cool waters is definitely an experience that you will never find elsewhere. Aside from this, the whole waterfall area is also a sanctuary of many wild species that makes it a very ideal place for nature tripping.

A wonderful thing happens in this magnificent wonder of nature every morning. A rainbow appears daily between 9am to 11am. Don't leave the place without experiencing this phenomenon.

Located in Burboanan, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, it has become one of the main tourist attraction in the city.

Enchanted River

Enchanted River is found in Barangay Talisay, Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

The stunning blue lagoon nestled within a mountainside is shrouded in thick vegetation with a narrow passage connecting to the sea.

True to its name, the Enchanted River looks fascinating with its majestic blue water. Its dark tinge comes from the Pacific sea pouring in from a deep underwater crevice.

It is said to be enchanted because no one has fathomed its depth. Its unknown depth gives it the deep sky blue color. Many people, including scuba divers, tried reaching the bottom of the enchanted river but failed. The water clarity changes throughout the day. At midday, the water becomes clearer and even more majestic.
