Pacquiao Vs Bradley: Knock-Out Please

The best thing Pacquiao fans are asking for the in the Pacquiao VS Bradley fight on June 10 (June 9 in Las vegas) is a splattering knock out.

We haven't seen one in years. Specifically, we haven't seen one in almost three years.

Before the fight, Manny Pacquiao's boxing record reads as 54 wins, 3 losses, 2 draws with 38 knockouts. Thirty-eight knockouts in 54 wins. That's above 70%.

Sadly, looks like those are hard to come by nowadays. Pacquiao took his last knock out win from Miguel Cotto back in November 2009. He hasn't won in a knock out for his last four bouts.

If you would skim his boxing record, he usually have knock out streaks. His last streak was a four consecutive knock out win against Diaz, de la Hoya, Hatton and Cotto. His longest knock out streak is was thirteen straight knock outs wins which ran from 1997 to 2001.

Then the knock outs came sporadically slow. And now, it has been four fights of decisions, the longest number of consecutive fights without a knock in his boxing history.

Walang Hanggan: The truth behind Daniel's identity, revealed!

Daniel Cruz, played by Coco Martin, is introduced in the primetime melodrama Walang Hanggan as a tough young man living in the streets, with no one to live with except for his grandmother.

His grandmother is - surprise, surprise - Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces), who doesn't have a chance of having a real grandson because she was never married. She did fell in love but gave up on her own happiness for the sake of her sister Margaret (Helen Gamboa).

We now know that Daniel isn't really Virginia's grandson. And it is really not hard to find out who Daniel's family really are.

Daniel is Marco and Emily's son

Marco (Richard Gomez) and Emily (Dawn Zulueta) had a son, but Emily decided not to let Marco know. Emily gave birth to his son while in prison.

A few moments after Emily gave birth, the midwife told her that the child died, saying it was weak and premature. She even showed Emily a dead infant for proof.

But as we will know, that only a part of Margaret Montenegro's evil plan. The video below tells us that Margaret told the midwife to take the child to an orphanage.

Virginia heard the conversation and managed to take hold of the child and raised it as her own grandson.

When will Virginia reveal the truth?

The question which will be for the writers to answer is: when will this truth be revealed? And to whom?

As of now, only Virginia knows of this. This is a key element in how the story will progress. The revelation of this truth to another key characters will change how things are happening. However, the writers may try to hide this truth until the end, which is really a very old trick.

Spoiler: City Hunter (ABS-CBN) full plot summary and ending

City Hunter is the story about a skilled assassin, his mission, his love and the mystery behind his identity. It stars Lee Min Ho who is popularly known for his role as Goo Joon Pyo in Boys Over Flowers. His leading lady in this series is Park Min Young.

What is the story behind the City Hunter? Who are the targets of the City Hunter? What is the mystery behind Johnny Lee's identity and how will he become the City Hunter? How did Johnny Lee and Kim Nana met? What is the ending of City Hunter? Will Johnny Lee die in the ending?

City Hunder Spoilers Full Plot Summary: The story behind the City Hunter

Lee Jin-Pyo (Kim Sang-Jung) and Andrew (Park Sang-Min) worked as bodyguards at the South Korean President's home the Blue House. While the president and other high ranking public officials were visiting Myanmar an explosion occurs there set off by North Korean agents. The explosion did not harm the South Korean President, but other South Korean officials were killed. To retaliate for the killing, five high ranking South Korean officials plan a covert operation to go into North Korea and kill North Korean agents. Without the president's knowledge, bodyguards Lee Jin-Pyo and Andrew gather men who will take part in the dangerous mission. The men will be dropped near the North Korean coastline and then enter North Korea to carryout their assassinations. For their return, Choi Eung-Chan (Cheon Ho-Jin) promises to have a submarine waiting for them to carry them back to South Korea.

Meanwhile, the five high ranking South Korean public officers, who initiated the covert operation, changes their minds while the operation is taking place. The officials decide to give up on the 21 special force members taking part in the covert operation.

The Special Forces members complete their tasks and swim into the ocean looking for the submarine to take them back to South Korea. They spot the submarine waiting for them and attempt to board the submarine. A sniper on the submarine kills all of the Special Forces members except Lee Jin-Pyo – who was saved by Andrew and swims back to South Korea.

Lee Jin-Pyo, carrying out a promise to his fallen comrade and good friend Andrew, goes to Andrew’s home and snatches away Andrew’s baby, while Andrew’s wife hangs clothes outside. Lee Jin-Pyo then moves to Thailand with the baby. Lee Jin-Pyo sets up a camp in the jungles of Thailand, while growing and trafficking illegal narcotics. Jin-Pyo also raises the baby Johnny Lee and eventually trains him into an elite soldier.

Johnny Lee, now a young adult, enters a village in Thailand and spots a Korean man, Dindo Bae (Kim Sang-Ho), being shaken down by Thai gang members. On a whim, Johnny Lee comes to his aide and helps Dindo Bae’s escape. Johnny Lee takes the Korean man back their camp. It turns out Dindo Bae is quite a cook and he prepares dishes for Johnny Lee and Lee Jin-Pyo. Johnny Lee also spots a photo of a young woman named Kim Na-Na that Dindo Bae carries with him. Johnny Lee takes the photo and places it next to his bed. He becomes emotionally attached to the woman in the photo even though he has never met her.

A few days later, Lee Jin-Pyo loses a foot while saving Johnny Lee from a landmine. While Lee Jin-Pyo is recovering, he finally tells Johnny Lee about his birth father and how he was killed by his own government. Lee Jin-Pyo then vows to exact revenge upon the five government officials responsible for his father's death.

Seven years later, Johnny Lee finally arrives in South Korea. Prior to arriving in South Korea, Johnny Lee studied at M.I.T. in the United States. He was also warned by Lee Jin-Pyo, prior to entering South Korea, to avoid falling in love because blood will be shed all around him.

City Hunder Ending: What will happen in the ending of City Hunter?

In Blue House, he meets bodyguard Kim Na Na (Park Min-young). The story of love and revenge begins. Eventually Kim Na Na helps him to take revenge, as they discover that they have the same goal in mind. Both of them start working together, but problems occur during their revenge plot.

A twist occurs as the full truth is revealed. Johnny Lee discovered that his biological father is the president, Choi Eung Chan, the last of the five council members who decided on killing the special ops team that was sent to Nampo waters in North Korea. Choi Eung Chan is also the last target of Lee Jin Pyo, and supposedly, the city hunter's last target as well.

When Lee Jin Pyo was about to kill the president, Johnny Lee took the bullet. As the secret service arrives, Lee Jin Pyo saves Johnny Lee and the president by saying that he is the final target and that he is also the city hunter.

Johnny Lee survives and continues to be the City Hunter.

'Padre de Pamilya' changes title to 'Nang Dahil sa Pag-Ibig'

Nang Dahil sa Pag-Ibig is the new and official title of the upcoming drama series starring Piolo Pascual and Jericho Rosales.

The said drama series is previously entitled Padre de Pamilya.

Why change the title? Piolo Pascual explains, “We just wanted it to be more universal because everything that happens around us is all about love kaya Nang Dahil Sa Pag-ibig ito ay nangyari. Ito ang makikita niyo as you watch the soap, its all about love, its all about the conflict ng umiibig at nang dahil sa pag-ibig ito yung naging conflict ng bawat isa."

'Nang Dahil sa Pag-Ibig' Cast

There are no words yet on what would be the characters of Piolo Pascual and Jericho Rosales but they promised that it will be something new.

Nang Dahil sa Pag-Ibig also stars Christopher de Leon, Maricar Reyes, and the new addition to the cast, Cristine Reyes.

Piolo last worked with Christopher de Leon and Maricar Reyes in Lovers in Paris. However, this is the first time that he will be working with Jericho and Cristine.

Not an Exciting Fight

However, not every boxing fans are excited to watch the replay videos of the third fight of Pacman and Dinamita because there are not enough flares in the bout.

Pacquiao seemed to be very careful with his punches that it appears that he's not throwing enough. On the other hand, Marquez is applying his usual technique of waiting for the opponent to attack before using his deadly counter-acttacks.

Upcoming Philippine TV Shows November 2011

Toda Max is the newest and currently the only sitcom on ABS-CBN today. It stars Robin Padilla and Vhong Navarro.

The Jose and Wally Show Starring Vic Sotto is a satirical TV show about how a TV show is being made. It is a show within a show starring Vic Sotto, Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola.

Miss World 2011 is happening on the morning of November 7, 2011 in the Philippines. Our bet to this pageant is Gwendolyn Ruais.

Glamorosa is the next offering of TV5 Mini Serye following Nora Aunor's Sa Ngalan ng Ina. This one stars Lorna Tolentino and Alice Dixson.

Pacquiao Vs Marquez III is the most-anticipated rematch of Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez. It will be held at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kokak is the TV adaptation of a comic series by Ruben Marcelino about a frog who turns to a beautiful woman. It features Sarah Lahbati and TJ Trinidad.

Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Doubles Showdown is the fourth season of the Philippine version of the hit reality show. This time, it will feature celebrity couples with pre-existing relationships, a first in the Survivor franchise history.

Other shows that are set to be aired this November is Ikaw ay Pag-Ibig and Angelito Batang Ama on ABS-CBN. However, the air date of this show have not been confirmed.

Out of over 30,000 who auditioned, Big Brother selected 13 official housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited.

Big Brother also has also chosen 30 reserved housemates who have the chance to enter the Big Brother house and even be an official housemate if they can complete their tasks. This is one of the unlimited surprises of Big Brother revealed during the grand launch of the fourth season last Saturday.

Meanwhile, here are the names of the 13 housemates and the first reserved housemate who entered the house.

Who stood out among the housemates?

Among the girls, Divine and Tin stood out for me. Tin because she is the daughter of basketball star Alvin Patrimonio and Divine because she is a self-confessed lesbian. However, Pamu and Luz are also memorable because they have unique looks and personalities.

Among the boys, Kigoy stood out because of his reputation as an ex-con, and Seichang because he is Japanese. We can’t also miss Roy’s long hair and Biggel’s Mohawk.

Reserved Housemates

There are 30 reserved housemates who will have the chance to enter the house and become an official housemate if they complete their tasks.

The first of these reserved housemates is Carlo, who enters the Big Brother house as a spy for Big Brother, who will give him four tasks that he should complete within the one to be considered as an official housemate.

The Pinoy Big Brother house will open again, for the nth time!

And they never stop innovating the format of the hit reality TV show. This time, they call it Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited.

Why Unlimited?

It's the biggest secret so far. But we are guessing it has something to do with the unlimited ways we can get updates about the happenings inside the house including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

We are also guessing these social networking sites will be used in the voting system.

Our last guess is that there will be an unlimited number of housemates who will be allowed to enter the house. They have been hinting that those who did not make it to the cut should not be sad because Big Brother has a surprise for them.

Who are the Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited Housemates?

Toni Gonzaga on her Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited Updates has already given hints on who will be the new housemates. But I'm not really interested yet on who they are.

They are still civilians until the cameras start rolling.

Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited 24/7 on the Internet

The official website of Pinoy Big Brother has just posted the PBB Housemates' Rulebook. This book contains the rules which will be implemented inside the house and which the housemates should follow to the letter.

In one of the sections called The Internet, the book reads:

Big Brother will also be broadcast on the Internet. Cameras feed the Internet 24 hours a day. The images on the Internet have the same rules as the images on television. The images of the toilet and the Confession Room will not be broadcast on the Internet, unless your actions in either of these rooms is contrary to their normal usage. You are not allowed to ask Big Brother any questions about how you are being shown on the Internet.

This can be one of the unlimited ways viewers can get updates on what's happening inside the house. However, this can also be just part of their paid products like TFC Now or IWanTV.

Where is: Felina, Ang Prinsesa ng mga Pusa (TV5)?

Felina: Prinsesa ng mga Pusa is meant to be TV5's first ever afternoon drama. It is also Arci Munoz first lead role and is set to premiere this October 2011.

However, it seems TV5 has stopped promoting it like the cat is already dead.

The story conference for Felina happened last August 31, 2011. And the first shooting day was on September 4, 2011.

After that, we heard nothing about Felina.

Did TV5 already cancell Felina? Will we ever see this cute-looking woman-cat?

Felina: Ang Prinsesa ng mga Pusa

The supposed first afternoon heavy drama of TV5, Felina, Ang Prinsesa ng mga Pusa is a story of a girl cursed to have the features of a cat.

It stars Arci Munoz as the title role. Other stars included in the cast are Leandro Muñoz, Ahron Villena, Carla Humphries at Bing Loyzaga.

Also starring are Jestoni Alarcon, Sharmaine Suarez, Epi Quizon, Carlos Morales, Angel Jacob, Bearwin Meily, Gerard Ong, Ms. Raquel Montesa and Ms. Pilita Corrales.

Update: Reports said Felina: Ang Prinsesa ng mga Pusa will finally be airing on February 27, 2012.

Daldalita (GMA7) starring Jillian Ward and Ogie Alcasid

After the magic shoes of Futbolilits, GMA7 will bring us a girl who can hear farm animals talk.

And as if we didn't already have a lot of stories with missing daughters (for example, Iglot) the writers at GMA7 thought we need more.

Daldalita, starring Jillian Ward and Ogie Alcasid, is a story of a girl who was separated from his father (her mother died giving birth) and develops the ability to communicate with her animal friends.

It is also a musical telenovela like the defunct Magic Palayok.

And they call this a refreshing concept.

As Mateo dutifully raises Lolita, Katrina (Manilyn Reynes), Carmela's sister, helps her brother-in-law in fulfilling his parental duties. Most of the time, Mateo and Katrina would clash but in the end they realize that they have develop an unlikely affection for each other.

The two get closer and closer as days pass by until Katrina advises Mateo to bring Lolita to a "miracle" doctor. This angers Mateo and makes him say hurtful words to Katrina. Completely devastated, she packs her bags and leaves him.

Having no one to turn to, Mateo seeks the help of his neighbor Tisay to help him out in taking care of Lolita. Unknown to him, Tisay brings Lolita along to beg on the streets. One day, police officers arrive to arrest beggars who are part of the syndicate. Afraid of being caught, Tisay immediately flees and leaves Lolita in a basket inside a delivery truck.

Mateo's whole world crashes down when he learns of Lolita's disappearance. He parts way with Katrina and continues his life without his daughter.

Meanwhile, baby Lolita ends up in a duck farm owned by Lupe (Timmy Cruz) who finds her and raises Lolita as her own. But Lupe's daughter, Susan (Eunice Lagusad), despises the new addition to their family and often mistreats Lolita. The animals in the farm empathize with Lolita who until now is still unable to utter a single word.

To cheer her up, they would talk and play with her. Lolita listens to the animals and Daisy (voiced by Candy Pangilinan), the mother duck in the farm, treats Lolita as her adopted baby. Until one day, when Susan attempts to kill Daisy, Lolita stops her and says "quack"!

Lupe, after hearing that Lolita can now speak animal sounds, teaches Lolita how to talk like a human and gives her a new name: DALDALITA. Daldalita grows up to be an extraordinary girl who is able to understand the language of the animals in the farm.

Susan continues to bear a grudge against Daldalita. When Lupe becomes sick and bedridden, Susan sees this opportunity to get rid of Daldalita and takes her to Manila. Daldallita, along with Daisy (the duck) and Bobby (the pig voiced by Wally Bayola), ventures around the city and starts their life in a new and different environment.

Due to an unexpected turn of events, Mateo and Daldalita's paths will crisscross. Mateo, who is now an accomplished veterinarian, finally reunites with his missing daughter. But with a different name, will Mateo find out that the lost girl who now lives with him is really his long-lost child, Lolita? How will Daldalita's animal friends help her in discovering her true identity? Who are the friends and foes Daldalita will meet in her adventures?

Angelito Batang Ama starring JM de Guzman on ABS-CBN

Mula sa Puso remake leading man JM de Guzman topbills ABS-CBN upcoming series Angelito Batang Ama.

This is JM's second biggest project after being the leading man in the remake of Mula sa Puso, playing the role of Gabriel Maglayon, previously played by Rico Yan.

In Angelito Batang Ama, JM de Guzman will be playing the title character. He will play the role of Angelito, a young man who falls in love early in his life. JM says he has to lose 10 more pounds to look more like the 17-year-old character in the series.

He will be paired with his Alyna and Mula sa Puso love team Charee Pineda.

Do you remember Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin on GMA7?

Neither do I.

However, GMA7 thought it was a pretty popular TV series in its time that they are making a remake of it.

The remake of Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin will star Barbie Forteza and Joyce Ching. They will play the roles formerly played by Angelika dela Cruz and Sunshine Dizon, respectively.

Maybe GMA7 is remaking this drama series because it has some similarities with Mara Clara. And it is said that this marked the comeback of GMA's soap opera.

Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin Plot Summary/Synopsis

Here's how the story of Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin will unfold, with possible spoilers:

Despite having different personalities, Mylene (Barbie Forteza) and Clarissa (Joyce Ching) are each other’s best friend. The two are inseparable until a landslide strikes their community, which causes Mylene to suffer from amnesia.

While wearing Mylene’s necklace, Clarissa ends up in a slum area, where she grows up in the care of a family of crooks. Here, she becomes friends with Jepoy (Kristoffer Martin), whose father (Kier Legaspi) sees Clarissa as a bad influence to his son.

Meanwhile, Mylene lives a difficult, new life as Katherine renamed by Ising (Matet de Leon), the woman who saved her from the landslide. After Ising is accused of stealing from the evil Raquel (Shirley Fuentes), Katherine needed to work as a house maid to pay for Ising’s debts and to get her out of prison. Having no memory of her former life, she meets her only friend and confidante in Charles (Joshua Dionisio), the son of their next-door neighbor.

Both girls have learned to accept their fate until Clarissa runs into Ferdinand (Gardo Versoza), who mistakes her for being her missing daughter for she is still wearing Mylene’s necklace. ABS-CBN is coining a new term here. Advocacy-serye. A television drama series with an advocacy.

In this case, Budoy's advocacy is learning and understanding people with delayed mental development.

It shows that ABS-CBN is brave on trying new things. But not brave enough to get out of the Pinoy Soap Opera Box.

Gerald Anderson's role as a mentally-challenged person is a new shape of character in the Philippine TV. However, he is set to live in a cliche soap opera story of estranged child and parents and scheming relatives.

Budoy Plot Summary/Synopsis: New Character, Old Story

The story of Budoy is about a well-renowned family of doctors, the Maniegos. Bound to success but with no child, Dr. Anton Maniego (Tirso Cruz III) performed an artificial insemination to his wife Luisa (Zsa Zsa Padilla). She give birth to their child "Budoy" (Gerald Anderson).

Budoy's birth is a family blessing but later on turns into the family in shame when they discover that Budoy is suffering from Angelman syndrome, which delays his intellectual development. Predicaments arises against Luisa, who became very protective of Budoy and the rest of Maniego family.

Until Budoy's fifth birthday that he gone missing and be found by Elena (Janice de Belen), the Maniego's former caretaker. Meanwhile the family decides to hide their dishonor with their abnormal son Budoy and replace him with a normal child named Benjamin (Enrique Gil).

Growing up not knowing their past, Budoy and Benjamin became rivals at school and to the girl (Jessy Mendiola) whom they are both seeing.

Brace yourselves while watching 3 Brothers because it will be a long ride. It has 70 episodes, each episodes running for almost one hour each. Here is the gist of the story of 3 Brothers:

Mr. Kim is a retired police officer and father of three sons.

He had high hopes for his eldest son Keith (Ahn Nae Sang), but he has fallen short of expectations almost every time. He has made wrong decisions many times in life, ending up being divorced and going bankrupt. Mr. Kim was not happy with Keith's decision to remarry, but after finding out the wife's secret, he keeps it unknown and wishes the couple's happiness.

His second son Ervic (Oh Dae Gyu) is the envy of the town and pride of his father. Compared to his older brother, he was not favored as much by his parents as a child, but now he runs a number of businesses which are quite successful. Mr. Kim always feels indebted to Ervic's wife, who has long sacrificed her happiness for the benefit of the Kim family.

Mr. Kim feels proud of his last son Lionel (Lee Joon Hyuk) as he follows in his father's footsteps by becoming a police officer. However, due to the generation gap, oftentimes the father and the son clash each other.
As opposed to Mr. Kim's expectation, Lionel married the daughter of his deadly foe, an ex-convict Mr. Kim traced and eventually arrested a long time ago.

The unique three sons and three daughters-in-law! 3 Brothers revolves around their relations full of conflicts and love.

Upcoming Philippine TV Shows October 2011

The Kitchen Musical is the first ever Pan-Asian musical drama produced in Singapore featuring artists across Asia. The cast includes Karylle and Christian Bautista, which Karylle playing the main character Maddie Avilon, a chef working for his father's restaurant while struggling to prove she is up for the job.

Sa Ngalan ng Ina is Nora Aunor's TV comeback after being outside the country for a long time. This mini-series is about an accidental governor and her struggles with family, politics and the death of her husband.

3 Brothers is a Koreanovela about the story of three sons of Mr. Kim with their own attitudes and their own problems in their married life.

Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin is the remake of a 2001 primetime drama of the same name, now starring Joshua Dionisio and Barbie Forteza. It is about Katherine, who after losing her memory will try to find her true identity and claim what is rightfully hers.

Budoy stars Gerald Anderson as a person with delayed mental development. ABS-CBN dubs it as an advocacy-serye because it will bring awareness about people with such cases.

Daldalita is a comedy drama series which will air soon on GMA Network, starring Jillian Ward, Ogie Alcasid, Manilyn Reynes and Ruffa Mae Quinto. It is about a girl who is lost in farm and was able to understand them when grow up.

Pinoy Big Brother Season 4 Unlimited is the fourth regular season of the hit reality show on ABS-CBN which incidentally became a breeding ground for new talents of the giant network.

Other shows that are set to be aired this September are the Koreanovela Cinderella Man on GMA7. However, the air date of this show have not been confirmed.

Junior MasterChef - Mystery Box and Invention Test

We have good news and bad news. Bad news: Looks like Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition will no longer be aired on daily primetime as previously reported. Good News: We have it on Saturdays and Sundays.

What's more, back to back challenges every episodes and no cliffhangers, we'll get to know the challenge winners at the end of every episodes!

In the October 1, 2011 episode of Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition, we have the back to back challenge of Mystery Box and Invention Test.

Mystery Box Challenge: Typical Family Dish

This is only a Mystery Box Challenge but it seems like the kiddie cooks are already in the Invention Test because of the creative dishes they cooked. The theme of this Mystery Box Challenge is typical Filipino family dish. The kiddie chefs must use at least four of the ingredients inside the Mystery Box.

The first place winner of this challenge will be awarded six points, the second placer with four points, and the third placer with two points. The rest will get one point each.

The winners of this challenge are:

3rd place - Louise Mabulo, Lumpiang Repolyo with coconut breading
2nd place - Bianca Dimapilis, Fishball Pattie with malunggay puree
1st place - Miko Manzano, Malunggay Ravioli with galunggung fillet

Invention Test: Duck

Miko has the chance to choose which main ingredient the kiddie cooks will use in the Invention Test. Among the choices are rabbit meat, duck and cuttlefish. Miko chose the duck. Miko was also given five minutes to get his ingredients from the pantry while the others only had three minutes.

The theme of this Invention Test is Love, which means the kiddie cooks have to think of their loved ones while cooking and dedicate their dishes to them.

The winners of this challenge are:

3rd place - Caitlin Tabulan, Hazelnut-crusted Duck with sundried cherry
2nd place - Iain Johnston, Red Duck Curry with lychee
1st place - Kyle Imao, Roasted Duck with tinola consomme

Worst Part of the Show

The worst part of the show so far is when the judges are tasting the dishes and giving their comments. The comments are generally positive though the kiddie cooks are having trouble with their dishes.

For example, Mika has problem undercooking her dish, which host Judy Ann didn't even notice. And Jobim admitted he put too much garlic on his pesto, but Chef Ferns still thinks the pesto is the star of his dish.

I don't know what to believe. The judges seem to be trying hard not to hurt the kids feelings and they can't give them an objective feedback.

But for the rest of the show, I love it. I will be looking out for these six winners because I think one of them will be the first Pinoy Junior MasterChef.

The video below gives us a sneak peek behind the camera and inside the cast, director and choreographers' brains on their thoughts about this genre-busting series.

For example, Director Cheek reveals that The Kitchen Musical was born out of his passion for food, wine, music and dance.

Rosemary VanderBroucke who plays the role of the sommelier of The Avilon, Selena Aragon, also spills there will be deserts at the end of every episode because they will reveal the recipe of the dishes presented in the episode.

Padre de Pamilya starring Piolo Pascual and Jericho Rosales

Padre de Pamilya is another ABS-CBN's groundbreaking teleserye starring Piolo Pascual and Jericho Rosales. It's too early to speculate on the story but Piolo is playing the role of a priest, hence the title.

Jericho is currently hosting the reality show I Dare You but his latest primetime drama project is the remake of the Koreanovela Green Rose. On the other hand, Piolo's last teleserye is Noah. They both worked together in sitcoms D Hunks and Bora.

Padre de Pamilya definitely going to be a family drama but Piolo is saying the twist of the story made him cry.

It is said that Padre de Pamilya's first working title is Sa Ngalan ng Ama, however, since Nora Aunor's mini-serye on TV5 is called Sa Ngalan ng Ina, they have to change the title.

Aside from making Piolo cry, he said the story of Padre de Pamilya left him shock and gave him sleepless nights, which makes us think that the priest role he is going to play will do something controversial.

Padre de Pamilya will definitely be slated under the Primetime Bida block, which means it will probably be airing next year because all the primetime series have just started.

Protege - Top 30 Finalists in Face Off Round

After the provincial auditions in The Hunt round, the mentors are left with three Proteges each, completing the Top 30 Proteges.

These Top 30 Proteges competes with each other in the Face Off round where individual acts performs in from of the three judges. The judges then tell the mentors which of the three should be their Proteges that they will pit against the other mentors' Proteges.

Thus, in the end of the Face Off round, every mentor will only have one Protege each. There will only be ten Proteges competing in the next round.
