Automatic Dish Rinse Additive

Is a concentrated rinse agent for use in automatic dishwashers.

This formulation serves to retard deposition of spots and films on ceramics, flatware, and glassware.

Crodasinic LS-30	7
Polytergent SLF-18 (biodegradable surfactant)	45
Fragrance, dye, preservative	q.s.

Crodasinic LS-30 provides wetting and promotes formulation stability without compromising rinsing performance. Unlike petroleum-based hydrotopes, Crodasinic LS-30 will not discolor the formulation nor will it impact it's odor.

Procedure:

Add the first five items in the order listed with agitation. Allow each ingredient to disperse completely before adding the next item. Adjust product pH to 10-11 with caustic potash liquid. Add the Incromine Oxide C with agitation and mix until uniform.

PAO bases synthetic automative gear oil show improved resistance to thermal and oxidative degradation compared to petroleum base stock.

Many VOCs are dangerous to human health or cause harm to the environment. VOCs are numerous, varied, and ubiquitous. They include both man-made and naturally occurring chemical compounds. - Wikipedia

Prifer 6813, benzoate ester from CRODA, is an effective, non-VOC, low odour solvent for industrial, institutional & domestic cleaning products. It has a very good solvent action, non-VOC classification, and excellent environmental and toxicological profile.

Procedure

1. Melt phase A in the final container at 70°C while stirring.

2. Mix phase B ingredients in another container, dissolve them completely while stirring and gently heat to 40°C.

3. Heat phase C to 70°C.

4. Add phase B to phase A, rinse the container with phase C.

5. Stir until the mixture is homogeneous

6. Add phase D ingredients.

7. Add phase E

8. At room temperature, adjust pH 6 with phase F.

9. Compensate for the water loss due to heating

Procedure:

Mix first three ingredients in order listed with constant agitation, allowing each to fully dissolve before adding the next ingredient. Combine stearyl alcohol and Cola ® Mid CMA and heat until just melted. Add the fragrance/ Cola ® Mulse Emultron PM blend to the melted ingredients and mix until homogeneous. Fill while warm into molds and allow to cool.

Meets State and Federal regulations governing VOC limits for solid air fresheners. Total VOC content is less than 2% (fragrance is exempt up to 2%).

Why thicken your cleaners?

We have featured several formulations that are viscous or thick. The advantage of a thick formulation is longer contact time which resulted to more cleaning time. Most bowl cleaners are acid base that can be thickened by acid thickeners like Ethoxylated Aliphatic Amines.

Bleach cleaners can be thickened using Magnesium Aluminum Silicate.

Alkaline cleaners can also be thickened using a combination of different ingredients. Below is an example formulation of Thickened Alkaline Cleaners that can be use as Alkaline Truck Wash.

Add sodium hydroxide (50%) to water and mix well.

Add Tomamine AO-728 surfactant and mix until dissolved.

Add oleic acid and mix well.

Add Tomamine Amphoteric N surfactant and mix well.

Applications:

Spray applications to trucks and equipment. Soak tank application for equipment and parts. Ratio: 5:1 to 10:1
