For $5 you will get a chick-fil-A sandwich, chips , and a drink
For $8 you will get 2 chick-fil-A sandwiches, chips, and a drink

Textbook Turn In

Students will be turning in their home sets of textbooks through their ENGLISH class.

8th graders will turn in all textbooks on Monday, May 21
7th graders will turn in all textbooks on Wednesday, May 23.

Note: 8th Grade – Students will be working on algebra related material not involving the text.

7th Grade -For the last days of school, math teachers will be addressing Algebra topics not covered in the textbook. Students will receive handout materials.)

Remove all book covers, clean out papers, and erase any marks before returning the books.

Please have your student turn in the complete set of home textbooks and return all library books on or before the scheduled turn-in date.

Placerita Tech Summer Programs

Any incoming or returning students to Placerita that are interested in learning about video production/broadcast journalism or LEGO robotics can sign-up for the Placerita Tech Summer programs. Mrs. Kennedy Memorial

Greetings,

On behalf of the family, I’d like to officially invite you to be part of the memorial service for Vicki Kennedy. We will be celebrating Vicki’s life on April 21 at 10:00 am in the Placerita Quad. The family has opened the invitation to everyone who was touched by Vicki’s life and by her contributions to the students of Placerita Junior High School. Attendees will be invited to join us in Tanner Hall following the ceremony for an opportunity to enjoy a “treat” reminiscent of Vicki’s work in the student store.

In lieu of flowers, the family has invited those wishing to make a contribution to consider a donation to the Placerita Drama Club. They have asked me to share that those interested in donating can make checks payable to the Placerita ASB/Drama Trust.

Summer School Applications

Summer School applications are due in the counseling office from English Learners, Special Education students, credit-deficient students, AVID students who wish to take Art 1A/1B, and Algebra 1A/1B students who wish to repeat in summer school in order to move to Geometry. Junior high summer school will be at Placerita and high school summer school will be at Hart, Valencia, or Golden Valley. Bring completed applications to the office today or immediately after spring break.

Also, Hart ASB applications are available from Ms. August in Room 402 or from the counseling office.
