NETWORK MARKETING?

IT IS WORD OF MOUTH MARKETING, AND IS THE OLDEST FORM OF ADVERTISING.

THE CONCEPT OF MULTILEVEL MARKETING, WHICH IN ITSELF IS SIMPLY BEING REWARDED FOR WORD OF MOUTH ADVERTISING, CONTIUES TO BE FULL OF MISCONCEPTIONS AND MISUNDERSTNDINGS EVEN IF GENERATES WELL OVER 200 BILLION IN ANNUAL SALES.

In 1963 there was a strong move to make it illegal. In fact …it
came within 11 votes shy of being outlawed in Congress. It was Franchising. Today this so-called ‘scam’ is responsible for over 34 percent of all retail sales in North America. Franchises sell nearly 800 billion dollars worth of goods and services annually.

One of the important fundamental facts of today is that we don’t like to change. We resist it, we like to stay within our comfort zone of what is accepted by the Majority. Network Marketing is a study in human nature.

I want to read a short story, the moral of the story is something my dad said too many times for me to count, “Life is nothing but a Habit, if you see something in your life you want to be different it is going to require changing a habit.”

"When the great library of Alexandria burned, the story goes, one book was saved. But it was not a valuable book; and so a poor man, who could read a little, bought if for a few coppers. The book wasn't very interesting, but between its pages there was something very interesting indeed. It was a thin strip of vellum on which was written the secret of the "Touchstone"!

The touchstone was a small pebble that could turn any common metal into pure gold. The writing explained that it was lying among thousands and thousands of other pebbles that looked exactly like it. But the secret was this: The real stone would feel warm, while ordinary pebbles are cold. So the man sold his few belongings, bought some simple supplies, camped on the seashore and began testing pebbles.

He knew that if he picked up ordinary pebbles and threw them down again because they were cold, he might pick up the same pebble hundreds of times. So when he felt one that was cold, he threw it into the sea. He spends a whole day doing this but none of them was the touchstone. Yet he went on and on this way - Pick up a pebble. Cold- throw it into the sea. Pick up another. Throw it into the sea.

The days stretched into weeks and the weeks into months. Yet he persisted, from morning to night. One day, however, about midafternoon, he picked up a pebble and it was warm. He threw it into the sea before he realized what he had done. He had formed such a strong habit of throwing each pebble into the sea that when the one he wanted came along, he still threw it away.

So it is with opportunity. Unless we are vigilant, it's easy to fail to recognize an opportunity when it is in hand and it's just as easy to throw it away."

Do you realize that the only time in our lives when we like to get old is when we're kids? If you're less than 10 years old, you're so excited about aging that you think in fractions.
'How old are you?' 'I'm four and a half!' You're never thirty-six and a half. You're four and a half, going on five! That's the key.
You get into your teens, now they can't hold you back. You jump to the next number, or even a few ahead.
'How old are you?' 'I'm gonna be 16!' You could be 13, but hey, you're gonna be 16! And then the greatest day of your life ! You become 21. Even the words sound like a ceremony. YOU BECOME 21. YESSSS!!!
But then you turn 30. Oooohh, what happened there? Makes you sound like bad milk! He TURNED; we had to throw him out. There's no fu n now, you're Just a sour-dumpling. What's wrong? What's changed?
You BECOME 21, you TURN 30, then you're PUSHING 40. Whoa! Put on the brakes, it's all slipping away. Before you know it, you REACH 50 and your dreams are gone.
But! wait!! ! You MAKE it to 60. You didn't think you would!
So you BECOME 21, TURN 30, PUSH 40, REACH 50 and MAKE it to 60.
You've built up so much speed that you HIT 70! After that it's a day-by-day thing; you HIT Wednesday!
You get into ! your 80's and every day is a complete cycle; you HIT lunch; you TURN 4:30; you REACH bedtime. And it doesn't end there. Into the 90s, you start going backwards; 'I Was JUST 92.'
Then a strange thing happens. If you make it over 100, you become a little kid again. 'I'm 100 and a half!' May you all make it to a healthy 100 and a half!!
HOW TO STAY YOUNG 1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay 'them.'
2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
3.Keep learning. ! Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever, even ham radio. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.' And the devil's family name is Alzheimer's.
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love , whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever.Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them , at every opportunity. AND ALWAYS REMEMBER :Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. And if you don't send this to at least 8 people - who cares?But do share th is with someone. We all need to live life to its fullest each day!! Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting '...holy sh*t ...what a ride!'

We never know when we start our day where we will end up! Sometimes we have little detours that take us off our path or desired direction. Are we learning to be flexible, adjust to change?
All my life I have been a goal setter. I work my plan and achieve my goal, every once in a while something interferes that takes me in another direction. Not all the time can one control the direction you are going so what do we do? Panic, go backwards, change goals, give up! Once I gave up goal setting, as I was exhausted from achieving my goals. For about a year my life was chaotic and disorganized and going nowhere. I decided I needed to get back to setting and achieving my goals and reaching my dreams.
Part of life's experiences is meeting interesting people! It is so much fun to learn about new people and share their experience in life. I love meeting lots of different people, different nationalities, young people and older generation, which some might say I belong. ( I don't think so) My theory is to hang out with young people and think young and you are young!
