we’re all waiting for this, Official “read more” links in blogger posts, Easy, guaranteed, and officially supported by Blogger.

For years and years all blogger users tried to place the read more links in blogspot blogs.
we published a tutorial here on allblogtools.com about this hack and how to do it by manually editing template HTML.

but it wasn’t working probably with all bloggers.

few days ago, blogger announced their latest birthday present:Blogger Jump Breaks.

By using Jump breaks you can show only a snippet of your post on your blog index page and archives.
Blogger will insert a read more link after each post so your readers can keep reading by clicking on this link.

How to using Blogger Jump Break

1.blogger New Post editor

If you use bloggers new post editor, ( you can use it by enabling it via the Settings tab at your blogger dashboard )
You’ll find that there is new icon on the tab called “Insert jump break”

So while writing your post just click with your cursor where you want to add the Read More Link, And then, click on “Insert jump break” icon.

2. Normal Blogger Post

You can insert the read more link buy clicking on Edit Html tab while writing your new post,And insert

where you want the read more link to appear.
do it’ll look like the next image.

Cuztomize Jump Break

You can change the text “ Read More > ” by going to Dashboard >> Layout >> then Edit the Blog Posts widget.And change it to what ever you want.
Add readmore (Edit Html)

hi all, yesterday blogger published on blogger buzz that they want blogger users, they wants to hear from you, if you are experienced blogger and have some opinions for blogger team, check out this post on blogger.
blogger team said that they want to hear and understand bloggers needs to keep up improving blogger.

And here is some details for the study.

it’s a two week diary study, starting on a date between September 28th and October 2nd (you will have a small daily task to complete)

* Compensation for the diary study is $100 US dollars in American Express gift cheques.
* Some participants may be selected for a 60 minute follow-up session which can be run either at the Google campus in Mountain View, CA or run remotely via screen sharing ($75 incentive). These sessions will be run after the 2 week diary study is completed early-mid October.

To participate you will need to:

* be at least 18 years old
* be willing to sign our Usability Non-Disclosure Agreement

If you are selected for one of the 60 minute follow-up sessions, you will also need to:

* Allow us to video or audio tape the session
* have a desktop or laptop computer preferably with Windows 2000/XP/Vista with Internet Explorer or Firefox browsers installed
* have a Broadband Internet connection or stronger (DSL, Cable, T1 all fine)
* a phone next to your computer that we can use to call you during the study. A speaker phone is recommended.
* or you can participate in person, in Mountain View, CA

What’s all the buzz about? Maki at Dosh Dosh has started a Technorati Favorites Exchange with the goal for bloggers to break into the Top 100 favorite blogs on Technorati, and to increase traffic and get more exposure to your blogs. Who doesn’t want more traffic?

Getting into the Most Favorited list doesn’t depend on any other variables like the link count over time, only the number of favorites each blog receives. Publicizing your standing on your blog will provide social proof of your blog’s popularity, and increase the attractiveness of your site to advertisers and blog readers.

For those who don't know what Favicon is 'Favicon is a small icon(image) displayed at the beginning of the address bar of the browser.It is also called Favourite Icon,Pageicon and urlicon.

The main advantage of creating and using favicon is ,it makes it easy to find your blog or site when someone favourited or bookmarked your site/blog among several other sites.

Most of the people use 16*16 pixel favicon(you can also use 32*32 pixel favicon) with ".ico" format.But,you can also use gif,png(image formats) aswell.

Do you know how to create Facebook page for your blog? A couple days ago, I was doing research on my blog’s niche. I wanted to know which social media sites were being used by my audience. Did they have blogs? Were they active on Twitter or forums? Did they participate in MySpace or Facebook?

I found out that Facebook was a popular place to hang out. Also, my referral stats showed that I was getting traffic from Facebook even though I never promoted my blog there. With these things in mind, I created a Facebook Page for my blog. I’m planning to use the page to join the conversation on Facebook. Hopefully, the result will be more traffic and increased branding.

Step by Step Guide to Create Facebook Pages

Here’s a step by step guide for creating your own Facebook page.

1. Log in to Facebook.
To create a page, you must have a personal account. If you don’t have your own account, go to the Facebook home page and sign up.

2. Go to Create New Facebook Page
For category, chose “Brand, Product, or Organization” and then scroll down on the drop down menu and choose “Website”. On the next section, enter the name of your page. I just used the name of my blog. Click “Create Page”.

3. Add a relevant image.
Move the mouse pointer to the question mark on the left and you’ll see the words “Change Picture” pop up. Click it to add an image related to your blog. I used an image from my header but you can also use your logo or icon.

4. Include information about your blog.
Click the “Info” tab and then “Edit Information” on the right.

Type in the relevant information including the date your blog was founded, the URL, and an overview.

5. Import your RSS feed.
By importing your RSS feed, your Wall will be populated with your newest posts. Also, it will be updated whenever you publish a new post. Go to the left sidebar and under your picture, click “Edit Page”.

Scroll down until you see the Notes application. Then click “Edit”.

Look to the right and click “Import a blog”.

Enter your RSS feed URL, click the check box, and click “Start Importing”.

Click “Confirm Import” on the right.

6. Write a short blurb about your blog.
You’re back on the home page. Look to your right, click the fifth link under the picture, and write a short blurb.

Oh, one last thing. Don’t forget to become a fan of your new page.
