Beginning the horror reviews this episode is Trouble Every Day starring the strange Vincent Gallo. Next is High Tension, sometimes known as Haute Tension, written and directed by Alexandre Aja. Halfway through we discuss Sheitan with mixed feelings, some loved it and some hated it, you must listen to find out what side of the fence your on. The highest average rating of the show is a 2007 flick called Inside that is about a depressed pregnant woman who gets stalked, tortured and abused by another woman who wants her baby. Another interesting and entertaining show for you to enjoy with HellHunter’s theme, five scary, deadly dog movies. The whole gamete ranges from poor to excellent on these 5 films, and yep this show does mention Cujo, probably the most popular ferocious dog movie ever.

Summaries begin with a 1977 film called The Pack starring Joe Don Baker. One year later a made for TV film called Devil Dog is analyzed. Next is the controversial White Dog, written and directed by Samuel Fuller, the movie was made in 1982 but after being pulled White Dog went underground and didn’t get released on DVD until 2007. Pushing forward we tackle Man’s Best Friend that’s about a genetically modified gruesome Tibetan Mastiff. Winding down we cover the newest film The Breed where all the hosts are in total agreement for a DVD buy.

The Planet Macabre team has a fun show in store for you this episode with Lady Phantom making her return, and a few incredible announcements, all the while discussing Hammer Production Studios 1970 vampire films. The hosts were very adamant on this show with many bleeps throughout holding onto their convictions.

After the introductions, announcements and news the critics start analyzing The Vampire Lovers which stars Ingrid Pitt who just recently passed. Next up is Countess Dracula based on the true story of Erzsebet “Elizabeth” Bathory who apparently was responsible for the deaths of over 600 girls in the late 1500’s. The third review is Dracula AD starring the famous Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. The same year came Vampire Circus with David Prowse aka Darth Vader playing the “Strong Man” at a circus sideshow. Rounding it off and hitting the chopping block hard is The Satanic Rites Of Dracula which has vampires, spies and scientists with a James Bond feel.

On this episode the critics delve into all brand new DVD and BluRay releases with a special guest, Paul Cram, an independent actor that has been in over 20 films and many horror shorts.

Some horror movies worth checking out that Paul has appeared in are Intermedio, alongside Edward Furlong, 13 Hours In A Warehouse, Living Arrangements and 2009’s Dawning. This episode marks the beginning of Planet Macabres host-picked themed shows. On a continual basis, the hosts will alternate by picking 5 horror movies under a certain theme of their choosing. Lady Phantom is up first and she picked ghostly haunting movies for the crew to review, rate, analyze, debunk and discuss.
