1) OWASP Day Kuala Lumpur 2011

OWASP Malaysia will host OWASP Day KL 2011 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from Sep. 20 to Sep. 21, 2011 and colloborate with UniKL-MIIT & OSDCMY. The events will gather OWASP leaders, security experts, executives, technical thought leaders, developers, scientists and researchers from Malaysia and around the world for in-depth discussions of cutting-edge application security issues.

The summit will draw participation from major Malaysia and global organizations across various verticals including government, information technology, services and consulting, telecommunications, finance, e-commerce, Internet, universities and research institutes. About 200 people are expected to attend the events. exhibition and lunch will be held at the summit, providing sufficient networking opportunities.

Persidangan perisian sumber terbuka (Open Source Software @ OSS) ini adalah bertujuan bagi menemukan pengguna-pengguna OSS daripada seluruh negara Malaysia dan luar negeri.

With the theme "Open Source Towards as a developed Country In 2020" MOSC 2010 able to stir the interest on development OSS's application and produce many more OSS's application developers in Malaysia.

Of the purpose working paper call is open to all individual, University or Company who is to present on the solutions or applications. The working paper must be in knowledge sharing concept. The working paper must not contain marketing materials to promote certain product or company.

Please do note that the closing date for CFP is on May 12, 2010 and the selected paper will be informed immediately. For selected speakers please submit your presentation slide before June 15, 2010.

Prospective speakers are invited to submit an abstract in 100 - 200 words by using this online form.

Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) adalah pertubuhan bukan untuk keuntungan bersifat kebajikan seluruh dunia (not-for-profit worldwide charitable organization) yang menumpukan usaha dalam meningkatkan keselamatan perisian web. Misi OWASP adalah untuk menimbulkan kesedaran tentang keselamatan dalam perisian web, agar keputusan yang dibuat oleh individu atau organisasi adalah lebih tepat dan benar.
