Noory, who is known best for his role as host of the mass syndicated radio program Coast to Coast AM, also holds a recurring guest role on the History Channel’s Ancient Aliens, and leads the Gaiam TV program Beyond Belief with George Noory. While Brooke has had a successful, genre spanning career, some of her most notable roles are from the mystery thriller “iMurders”, mobster flick “Sinatra Club”, and of course her comedic and passion project alter-ego “Ms. Vampy”. Growing up in Philadelphia, Brooke quickly learned that her desire was for acting and soon left the City of Brotherly Love for her break at The Big Apple. After spending some time in a number of larger, Off-Broadway roles, the call of the sun and surf from the left coast became too strong so she packed up her things and headed for Hollywood. Brooke continues to reside in California but has not forgotten her PA roots and has since started “Philly Chick Pictures” which allows her more acting and writing opportunities. Brooke is also very active in multiple philanthropic endeavors that include women fighting breast cancer, at risk teens, and female empowerment.

Brooke is no stranger to the paranormal both on and off screen. While claiming to have never been on an “official” ghost hunt, she has had a number of regular encounters with spirits within her own home, and one even has a crush on her! But you have to listen to the episode for the details on that story. Brooke also admits that one of the most interesting things to do while in Los Angeles is to go on the “Dearly Departed” tour. So, while she may claim to have not been on a ghost hunt before, it sure seems like has been in enough situations to where ghosts are able to make their presence known.

David Paulides – Missing 411

National parks are beautiful and amazing places that draw millions of visitors each year. Stretching from coast to coast, these worlds of wonder spark a level of curiosity that draws some of us to explore deeper than the surface level stops. While most hikers and adventurers find their way home, there is an occasional few that unfortunately go missing. When this does happen, there seems to be a standard process that plays out: We catch a small snippet on the local news, are shown a few images of search teams with dogs and flashlights, and it is on to the next story. We only assume that there is far more detailed process that goes on behind the scenes, but what is being discovered is that the opposite is the case. In fact the National Parks Service does not even maintain a continuing list of missing peoples. Troubled by this, this week’s guest on The Malliard Report began his quest to discover why there is such a lack of information attached to these missing people cases and the often mysterious circumstances surrounding these cases. (Often, these individuals are experienced hikers/hunters accustomed to the outdoors)

Drawing upon his experience as a police officer and an outdoorsman as well, David Paulides started the CanAm Missing project. Frustrated by finding out that many missing people cases wind up buried in a file cabinet never to be seen again, David started pushing for what he believes is a much needed paradigm shift within the system, and thus CanAm got its start. CanAm Missing is a group of retired police officers, search and rescue, and various other experts dedicated to following up ad better understanding the issues surrounding the mysterious disappearances in North American National Forests. (How does an experienced hiker wind up dead in a muddy body of water with no boots and perfectly clean socks?)

David tirelessly continues his efforts in bringing awareness to the public on this matter and will exhaust every avenue possible. He has written several books on the subject (including the Missing 411 series, and A Sobering Coincidence) has a feature length film that is awaiting to debut (that has received great reviews from the pre-screenings), and brings his insight to numerous podcasts and radio shows. David’s cause is certainly an unusual one, and one worth looking into. It is something that one would not often associate with shady under dealings, but David reveals that after a number of “off record” interactions with park rangers he was quickly led to believe otherwise.

A New York Times best-selling author, a Harvard alum, and a UFO enthusiast all walk into a restaurant and the hostess asks “table for one?” Besides being a very poor attempt at a very bad joke, this week’s guest on The Malliard Report is in fact all three. On this episode, Jim welcomes the very talented Ben Mezrich. Ben takes the time to discuss the trials of being an up and coming writer, his fascination with UFOs, what inspires him, what his future goals look like, and much more.

Residing currently in Boston, and having grown up in Princeton, Ben graduated from Harvard in 1991 where he watched a lot of friends obtain almost instant success from careers in the financial industry. Slightly envious of his friends rapid affluence but not deterred, (It is easy to see how frustrating it can be, watching your buddies drive BMWs and Mercs while you are stuck on a regular diet of PB&J) Ben kept on keeping on and soon his perseverance paid off. Ben now boasts a writing career that spans nineteen years, sixteen books, and several major motion pictures that include 21 and The Social Network. While Ben has done some fiction pieces, he is mostly known for his non-fiction and his avant-garde, submersion approach to his research. This has often led him into some very precarious situations that include smuggling money and run-ins with Japanese mafia just to name a few.

Ben’s latest work focuses on the peculiarity of the 37^th parallel and the fervent research compiled by Chuck Zukowski. Following up on reports of “shallow-focus” earthquakes in Virginia and Colorado and a theory that a potential underground tunnel system runs from at least Dulce, New Mexico all the way to Area 51 in Nevada, Chuck began to notice a pattern developing. These events and locations were all located on approximately the 37^th parallel. Not one to chalk things up to coincidence, Chuck began to check to see what all sits on the 37^th parallel, and an interesting list quickly came together that includes: San Jose California, Mono Lake California (home of numerous UFO sightings), Area 51 Nevada, US Naval Undersea Warfare Base – Hawthorne Nevada, Taos New Mexico (home of the Taos hum), Dulce New Mexico (rumored massive Deep Underground Base) Aztec New Mexico (UFO crash and recovery – 1948), Blanca Peak Colorado (UFO hotspot), Coffey County Kansas (cattle mutilations reported in 1897), Howell County Missouri (cattle mutilations reported – 1896), Piedmont Missouri (over 500 witnesses report UFO sightings), Cape Girardeau Missouri (UFO crash and recovery), Wytheville Virginia (mass UFO sighting reports) and the Greenbrier Virginia underground bunker (designed to house congress in times of war). Ben’s book follows Chuck in his relentless quest to find out the truth about this anomaly, and is currently in the works to be a full length film as well. (In which Ben admits that he would like to see Robert Downey Jr. play the main character.)

This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes a very special guest to the show; Scott Wolter. While probably most widely known for hosting the late A&E networks H2 television show America Unearthed Scott also holds great notoriety as a forensic geologist, being the president of Minnesota-based American Petrographic Services, and developing an entirely new field of science called archaeopetrography. Archaeopetrography is a scientific based process in which mysterious stones, artifacts, and locations are dated and studied so as to better understand their origins and meanings. Scott joins Jim to discuss, the fate of his show, his thoughts on certain artifacts, places he wants to travel to, Free Masonry, and problems with a lot of current “research”.

Originally garnering the attention of those in the right places, Scott’s 2009 History channel 2-hour special “Holy Grail in America” (Scott proposes the idea that the Kensington Runestone is credible evidence that the Knights Templar were operating out of the Americas more than 100 years prior to Columbus setting sail) quickly led to a full time series. America Unearthed originally launched December 21, 2012 with the theme of the episode being ancient Mayan secrets. Seeing as how the world didn’t end that evening, the show was able to run for a total of three seasons and covered an incredibly wide set of topics ranging from Montezuma’s Gold, to Bigfoot, Captain Kidd, Treasure hidden in the Grand Canyon, The New World Order, Giants in America, and much more. The show unfortunately met its demise, not for a lack of viewership (it was the highest rated series on H2) but rather because the H2 network was sold, and The History Channel deemed the show “too smart for their audience…” (gimmie more of ma pawn shows and big trucks!) and failed to renew the contract. Scott is currently working on a new project that he claims, if validated, is so ground breaking that it will re-write history as we know it. (Color me excited for this one!)

Scott brings his expertise and knowledge from many different fields (did I mention he is a high level Mason too?) to discuss what he thinks The Ark of The Covenant might be, and the potentiality of there being more than one, his opinion on certain celebrity Flat Earthers, research bias, and his fear of watching ancient sites and artifacts being destroyed by meaningless fighting of peoples. It will be hard pressed to find someone that has not heard the story of what allegedly happened in the New Mexico desert in July of 1947, but what if there was an alternate theory that is highly plausible, and does not involve weather balloons or small greys.

1947; Operation Paper Clip (a secret United States Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency program in which more than 1600 German scientist, engineers, and technicians, most of which were former registered Nazi leaders and members whom were granted amnesty and recruited by the US government for employment in order to advance the weapon and rocketry programs) is in full swing and the focus of government spending is now shifting from weaponry to space. This new, uncharted adventure comes with inherent risks and may have claimed more lives than is publically known.

Located approximately 200 miles southwest of Roswell NM sits the White Sands Missile Range. The original location of the atomic bomb testing, it also was the home of the US rocket propulsion program. Is it possible that in the summer of 1947, in the infancy of the US space program, that an early manned rocket flight went horribly awry? Mangled bodies after a high speed crash may look non-human, and rocketry, unfamiliar to a small town farmer would certainly have an “other worldly” appearance. With stories of crashed aliens and UFOs spreading like wildfire, it provided the perfect smokescreen to hide a top secret program.

Biography
Rev. Michael J. Carter is originally from Baltimore, Maryland. He moved to New York City in 1980 and lived there for 25 years, working as a professional actor before moving to Asheville with his family. Michael is an ordained Interfaith minister and received his BA Degree in Letters from the College of New Rochelle where he graduated cum laude. He received his Masters In Divinity Degree from Union Theological Seminary in New York City (class of 2000).While serving various Unitarian Universalist Congregations in New York, Michael was trained as an anti-racism trainer and has been recognized by President Clinton for his efforts. Michael was also a weekly columnist for the Asheville Citizen Times. Rev. Carter now serves as the minister for Unitarian Universalist Congregation of The Swananoa Valley, in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.

Rev. Carter has written articles on UFOs and Religion for such publications as UFO Magazine, Alien Encounters ( A British Publication),The MUFON UFO Journal, Contact Forum, The S.P.A.C.E. Newsletter (Support Program for Abductees Contact Encounters) a UFO support group in New York City. He has spoken at UFO Conferences such as the 2nd Philadelphia, Need To Know Conference, The Annual Long Island UFO Conference with Budd Hopkins, as well as appearing on radio and TV appearances across the nation. Rev. Carter has also appeared on Japanese television discussing the Bible and UFOs.

A Brief Biography

Courtney Brown is a mathematician and social scientist who teaches in the Department of Political Science at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Independent of his work at the university, he is also the leading scholar on the subject of “remote viewing” as it is done using procedures that were developed by the United States military and used for espionage purposes, or procedures that are derivative of those methodologies.

Academic Background: Courtney Brown received his Ph.D. degree from Washington University (St. Louis) in 1982 in political science with an emphasis on mathematical modeling. He began his teaching career as a college calculus instructor in Africa before moving on to teach nonlinear differential and difference equation modeling in the social sciences at the University of California at Los Angeles, Emory University, and the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research Summer Program at the University of Michigan. He has published five peer-reviewed books and numerous articles on applied nonlinear mathematical modeling in the social sciences.

Remote-Viewing Background: Dr. Brown is the Director and founder of The Farsight Institute (www.farsight.org), a nonprofit research and educational organization dedicated to the study of the phenomenon of nonlocal consciousness known as “remote viewing.” He has published peer-reviewed research on this subject in premier scientific outlets, and has spoken internationally at a host of prestigious venues, including various universities, as well as at respected gatherings of physicists. His recently published book on the subject, Remote Viewing: The Science and Theory of Nonphysical Perception, is the only book of its kind where the science of remote viewing is developed with respect to highly structured data-collection methodologies of the kind utilized by the U.S. military. In this book he analyzes data and develops a new theory that explains the remote-viewing phenomenon as a consequence of superposition formation on the quantum level.

Anthony F. Sanchez received his BSc. in Computer Information Systems from Western Governors University of Salt Lake City, UT. In addition to being a Software Consultant for the State of California through his own company, Anthony has been employed for 16 years as a Software Engineer working for 3Com, Intel, Acer, Netscape Communications, and Hewlett Packard performing high level software development supporting scientific engineering and business intelligence projects.

He became interested in UFOs back in 1989, at the time Area 51 surfaced as a public phenomenon. Since 2000 he has researched the subject matter thoroughly employing various scientific methods and hands on approaches, thus compiling decades worth of UFO related research data.

Anthony has also studied in detail, ancient religious texts which include the Nag Hammadi codices, various gospels from the Dead Sea Scrolls such as the ‘book of Giants’ and ‘book of Enoch’.
