BSF apprehends 7 crossing over illegally from Bangladesh

Seven Bangladeshis, who illegally entered India with the help of human traffickers, were apprehended from West Bengal's Nadia district on Wednesday, the Border Security Force (BSF) said.

Bangladeshis, who included two women and a three-year-old child, at around 11.30 a.m. from the Gajna-Tarakpur road where they were waiting for a vehicle, the BSF said.

When the BSF asked them to identify themselves and they could not produce any valid Indian identities or documents, they were detained.

In its "Guidance note on Bi-directional TB-Covid screening and screening of TB among ILI/SARI cases" issued on Wednesday, the ministry said studies have shown that a history of active as well as latent tuberculosis is an important risk factor for the SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Tuberculosis is associated with a 2.1-fold increased risk of severe Covid-19 disease, the health ministry said on Wednesday, recommending that all newly diagnosed tuberculosis patients or those currently on treatment should be tested for Covid-19 and vice versa.

NEET UG Admit Card 2020 released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG examination on Wednesday.

Candidates who have registered for the examination can download their NEET UG Admit Card 2020 (NEET UG Admit Card 2020) from the official website ntaneet.nic.in, this examination will be conducted on September 17.

Procedure for downloading admit card:

1) Go to the official website ntaneet.nic.in

2) Click on the admit card link on the homepage.

3) Fill the mandatory details such as your application number, password, and date of birth.

4) Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.

5) Download and take the print out.

Earlier on Sunday, the NTA released a detailed protocol for the NEET UG 2020 examination amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Under this protocol, the candidates will be given separate time slots to report at their respective centers to reduce congestion at the examination centers.

Here is the list of mandatory protocols released by the NTA:

1) All staff members and candidates to be checked with Thermo guns at the entry point for fever. In case, any staff person and candidate is observed to be having above-normal temperature (>37.5°C/99.4°F) or displaying any symptom of COVID-19 suspect, they will be placed in separate Isolation Room as stated by NEET official website.

2) Body frisking will be avoided and candidates will only be screened with metal detectors.

3) Manual attendance with signature will be taken by the candidates and thumb impression will be avoided.

4) Due to the Coronavirus crisis in India, the number of centers has also been increased to 3843, earlier it was 2546.

5) For the maintenance of social distancing, the number of candidates sitting in each room has been reduced from 24 to 12.

All these changes are been made for the safe conduction of the examination.

India registers highest spike of 75,759 coronavirus cases, death toll over 60,000

This story starts with eight persons entered in room. These eight persons are selected for the final interview. All persons know that this interview is for the top post of top company of world. But no one even know the name of CEO of company.

Room consists eight seats having question paper on the bench. All candidates take seats then invigilator came. Invigilator explains that exam is of 80 minutes duration and have only one question.

There are three rules

No one can talk with armed guard or invigilator

No one can spoil the paper

No one will leave the room

If anyone break these rules that person will be disqualified.

As the exam starts, candidates realize that question paper is blank. Now all are in confusion, they do not know what to do. After few minutes one chinese girl write on the paper that i believe i deserve this job. Immediately guard enters in the room and take her out of the room ,means she is disqualified now.

Now all candidates realized that they can not write anything on the paper without knowing the question.

Then one person says invigilator told us that we can not talk with guard or invigilator, but we can talk with each other. He suggests that we should help each other to find the question. Other person says we are in competition how we can help each other. Then he says no one can clear this exam without knowing the question.

Now 7 persons among them were convinced but one person did not show any interest in it.

They have chosen nick names for each other. They set their nicknames by their appearance

One person was black so nick name given to him is black

White for person who was giving nicknames as he is white

Brown for person having brown colour

One girl was having blonde hair so blonde name given to her

one girl having dark hair so dark name was given to her

One girl having brunette for girl having brunette hair

one person who was not showing interest to them,white has given him deaf nick name.

White stand up and says they can stand or move because it was not mentioned in the rules that they can not move.

one girl says may be question is in watermark which will be visible in special light. but when white check it in light nothing was visible.

blonde says may be by shading question appears on paper. But then black stopped her from doing that.

dark says may be it is possible that all have different question. Black says it is also possible that we all have to answer same question.

All of them check their papers in light but no one find any question in their paper.

Then black says it is possible that this question is visible in special light like UV light. Blonde observed that dark stripes are present in the walls of the room. Then they observed that light exists in strip.No one find any switches in the room.Dark reminds all of them that you can not move out of the room.

Black says these are emergency lights so we have to create emergency. so all of them break lights in the room.suddenly blue light appears. for some tie all of them feel happy that they have turned on the emergency lights but even in this light question does not appear on the paper so all of them get frustrated.

white says they can not spoil their own paper but they can spoil the paper of otherone. Now white make shade on the paper of disqualified chinese girl.But no question appears on paper

Brown says it is a game not interview. Dark says this company CEO always look on every matter of company. He must be observing us with invigilator.

Now all are frustrated. Brunette takes lighter from the guard without talking or interacting with him.She proposed the idea that it is possible that by triggering fire,safety mechanism can release special chemical instead of water which can develop photo on the paper.

she triggers the fire by burning paper provided by white. Suddenly liquid start coming out of the safety mechanism. This liquid was water. Again their idea get flopped.

Suddenly guard came he takes the brunette out of the room. She got disqualified because white cheated her by giving her, her paper instead of already disqualified chinese girl.

After this black got angry with white. He says i will punch you when lightsout.

suddenly light goes. then brown says what you did. then he said lights on. then lights turned on by his voice. soon they realized that lights are turned on/off by voice command.

Now deaf started crying and white says why do not you tear your paper. so deaf tear his paper and guard take him out of the room but his he forget to take his glasses.

Black got very angry with white. He punched him on the face and soon white losses his consciousness

Now black tied him with chair. When white get consciousness black ask him tell us what is the question of this interview. white says there is no question in this interview ,this test is itself a question.

During this white started crying because he was suffering from a disease.Dark says he will die if medicine is not given to him, so she starts shouting at camera that you are not understanding one person is dying.suddenly guard came and put her out of the room.

then blonde manages to give his lost medicine to him. actually brown hide the medicine of white. Now, white recovered and blonde also untied her. Now black take gun from the guard and pointed at white. But gun did not work and suddenly white snatched the gun from him and he understands that this gun works from the fingerprint of guard. so he takes the fingerprints of guard and pointed at black.Now he told others to leave the room. Brown left the room and blonde told i am leaving so while leaving she shouted lights off and lights turned off. White fired several rounds .It hits the black. Blonde have kept just one foot in the room. Now the timer clock which was present in the room indicates time of exam is over. so white declares i am the answer of question. Suddenly guard came he put him out of the room. Guard shows him the time, time was not over. Actually deaf have changed the time of clock.

Blonde was still in the room as her one foot was in the room.

Now deaf man and invigilator comes in the room. deaf man was the CEO of company.

Blonde observed her paper with the glasses of deaf man. It indicates question 1 and nothing was written in the paper. Now invigilator asks any questions. she said NO.

Can calorie restricted diet enhance the life span of humans?

Researches from united states and china have conducted the experiment on rats,monkeys,rodents. They have observed that when they have treated these animals with calorie restricted diet it has created a anti ageing characters in these animals.

“The effect of caloric restriction on extending healthspan and lifespan suggests that aging is reversible and druggable,” co-author Guang-hui lui a professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

“We hope that we can identify the intervention target to mimic the beneficial effect of caloric restriction in the future.”

Researchers pitted two groups of rats against one another: One group received 30 percent fewer calories versus the other group, who were kept on a normal diet. The researchers followed the rats over the course of nine months, from age 18 months (middle-aged for a rat) to 27 months, deliberately choosing older rats as this is when potential clinical applications would prove most effective. The rats’ ages were comparable in humans to about the ages 50 through 70.

They found that the rats who were subjected to calorie restriction didn’t display almost 60 percent of the age-related changes in cell composition that occurred in the rats on a normal diet.

Older rats on a calorie-restricted diet were also found to share similarities in tissue and cell composition with young rats on a normal diet, suggesting that older rats maintained similar physiology to rats much their junior.

Supreme Court extends deadline to complete Babri Masjid demolition trial

The Supreme Court has fixed a fresh deadline of September 30 for the CBI judge in Lucknow to complete the trial against BJP veterans L K Advani, M M Joshi and others in the 1992 Babri demolition case.

A bench of Justices R F Nariman, Navin Sinha and Indira Banerjee gave further one month's time to the judge for the purpose.

The court passed its order on August 19 on a request by Special CBI judge, Surendra Kumar Yadav.

"Having read the report of Yadav, Special Judge, and considering that the proceedings are at the fag end, we grant one month's time, i.e., till 30th September, 2020, to complete the proceedings including delivery of judgement," the bench said.

Earlier the court had fixed August 30 to finish the trial and deliver the judgement.

The court had then asked the trial judge to use video conferencing for recording evidence and ensure the time frame was not breached further.

The top court had earlier extended the term of the judge and fixed the deadline of April 2020 for finishing the trial in the case.

On a letter received by the Special Judge to further extend the time, the bench said, "the effort must now be to complete the proceedings and deliver judgment latest by August 31, 2020."

The top court noted that on July 19, 2019, it had given six months time to complete recording of evidence and three more months to deliver the judgement.

UPSC Selection Procedure consists of three stages.
1. Written Exam
2. Interview/ Intelligence Test/ Personality Test
3. Document Verification
4. Medical Examination

1. Written Exam:
i. Written Exam consists of Objective Type questions and time duration 2 hrs and maximum marks is 100 for each subject.
ii. For the candidates who are appearing for Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air force Academy written test comprising of English, General Knowledge and Elementary mathematics subjects and for candidates who are appearing for officers training academy the written test comprising of English and General Knowledge.
iii. Candidates who are declared successful in the written exam will be detailed for intelligence and personality test at the Service Selection Board based on their preference, by the respective service HQ.
2. Interview/ Personality Test: The candidates who are selected in written test are called for interview. The SSB procedure consists of two stage selection process-Stage I and Stage II. Only those candidates who clear the stage I are permitted to appear for Stage II.
a. Stage I comprises of Officers Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are Picture Perception Description Test (PP&DT). The candidates will be shortlisted based on combination of performance in OIR Test and PP&DT.
b. Stage II comprises of Interview, Group Testing Officers Tasks, Psychology Tests and the conference. These testes are conducted over 4 days .
The personality of candidate is assessed by three different assessors viz. the interviewing Officer (IO), Group Testing Officer (GTO) and the Psychologist. There are no separate weightage for each test. The marks are allotted by assessors only after taking into consideration the performance of the candidate holistically in all the test.
3. Document Verification: Document Verification will be conducted only after the candidate has qualified for Interview/Personality Test.
4. Medical Examination: A Candidate recommended by the Services Selection Board will undergo a medical examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers. Women candidates will undergo Medical Examination by a Medical Board comprising male/ female doctors/ specialists/ Gynaecologist. There will be a Lady Medical Officer as member of Board. Only those candidates will be admitted to the Academy who are declared fit by the Medical Board.

PAPER – 1: ENGLISH:
The question paper will be designed to test the candidates’ understanding of English and workmanlike use of words.
PAPER – 2: GENERAL KNOWLEDGE:
General Knowledge including knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. The Paper will also include questions on History of India and Geography of a nature which Candidate should be able to answer without special study.
PAPER – 3: ELEMENTARY MATHEMATICS:
Arithmetic: Number System-Natural numbers, Integers, Rational and Real numbers. Fundamental Operations addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, Square roots, Decimal fractions. The papers in all the subjects will consists of objective type questions only. The question papers of General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics will be set bilingually in Hindi as well as English.
In the question papers, wherever necessary, questions involving the metric system of Weighs and Measures only will be set.

Corona virus continues to wreak havoc worldwide. The number of infected and epidemic deaths is also increasing. The number of people who lost their lives in the world has crossed seven lakh. Government of Canada signs agreement with Pfizer and Moderna Company for Corona vaccine

The Canadian government has been criticized for its slow response to the Covid-19 epidemic. Due to this, there was a shortage of personal protective equipment such as masks in the country. Anand said, "We are now focusing on preparing Canada for a vaccine. In view of the global competition, we are adopting an aggressive way to secure access to the most qualified candidates so that we can prepare to apply the vaccine to all Canadians as soon as possible.
