In response to my article Scott Peterson and the Case of the Woman Mauled to Death by Her Own Dogs, reader no dhimmi left this comment:

"I understand there are cases like that. What about the instances where a dog saves the woman? Woman says dog saved her life during break-in

"Would you think there is a trade-off, especially when burglars are checking out homes and avoid those with dogs?

"Anyway, thanks for putting this info out for potential dog owners like me who are seeking to protect their loved ones."

My advice about dogs is the same advice I gave to my children regarding knives: Do not treat a knife as a toy, you do not play with a knife, a knife can scar you for life or kill you. To adults I say: do not let little children play with a knife. You can replace the word knife with the word dog and the meaning is exactly the same.

I do not suggest that one not have knives in one's home, only that if you have children then you have to be extremely careful that any knife not be too easily accessible to your children. And adults, unless they are experienced circus performers, should not try to juggle two or more knives at the same time.

If you need a dog to protect you in your home or while walking, then never take more than one dog with you. Two or more dogs can behave differently with humans than a single dog with humans. Also it is easier to fight off a single dog than a pack.

As well, most dog owners do not have the skill or experience to recognize Dominance Aggression in their family pet.

So that poor girl who got mauled to death in the woods might have been playing around with her dogs by rolling over on leaves, an act which in aggressive dogs can easily trigger an attack. So once the alpha dog started attacking her, the other would join in. Never be around two large dogs that you cannot easily fight off - no matter how much you think the dogs love you.

People who heed my advice about dogs will not find themselves dead or badly mauled.

A Dog however can be more dangerous than a knife. A knife will rarely attack you on its own.

Many of my regular readers know that I have warned them about the dangers of keeping dogs as pets in their home. In more than two dozen articles I have pointed out that there are almost 5 million dog bites each year and thousands of incidents where some poor child's face gets mauled and disfigured.

And I always stress in my reports that it is almost always done by the trusted, faithful, loyal, devoted, protective family pet.

So it was no surprise in the least when I read the following story yesterday:

CBS News, Woman mauled to death by her dogs while on a walk, police say

GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. -- Police say a 22-year-old woman found dead in Virginia was mauled to death by her dogs, CBS affiliate WTKR-TV reports... The two dogs each weigh more than 100 pounds, WTKR-TV reports. Police described them as pit bulls...

"It appeared the attack was a violent attack initiated by the victims' dogs while the victim was out for a walk with the dogs," Agnew said of the medical examiner's initial report. "The victim had defensive wounds on her hands and arms trying to keep the dogs away from her, which would be consistent with being attacked while she was still alive."

The first traumatic injuries she suffered were to her throat and face, Agnew said. "It appears she was taken to the ground, lost consciousness, and the dogs then mauled her to death," he added.

If humans can suddenly turn into violent, vicious beasts then how can you trust animals who by their very nature are violent, vicious beasts?

Well, it seems my criticism applies not only to that fake news media itself but to their reporters as well.

After Trump held a rally in Pensacola, Florida this past Friday night, he mentioned how the arena was filled to the rafters. I know what you want to say, "Why is he so obsessed with crowd count?" But you know who cares even more about the size of his rallies? Based on how frantically they search for images that might show a smaller number then it's definitely the left wing media.

Dave Weigel, a reporter for the Washington Post, in a tweet, just couldn't spend one second to verify if the following photo accurately depicted the crowd when President Trump finally arrived to speak: He just had to mock our President:

In a recent interview in St. Moritz, Switzerland, with Fake News CNN Sports, American skier and snowflake Lindsey Vonn got political when Fake News interviewer Alpine Edge asked a few stupid questions and received a few stupid answers in return:

CNN, 7 Dec 2017, Lindsey Vonn: I won't be representing US President at Winter Olympics

As well as competing for a second Olympic gold medal in South Korea, she is attempting to break the record of 86 World Cup victories held by Ingemar Stenmark since 1989.

Away from the slopes, Vonn also appears willing to put her head above the parapet and speak out about US politics.

"I take the Olympics very seriously and what they mean and what they represent, what walking under our flag means in the opening ceremony," she added.

"I want to represent our country well. I don't think that there are a lot of people currently in our government that do that."

And Vonn revealed she wouldn't accept an invitation to the White House if she were to win gold at Pyeongchang.

What was left out of the Fake News CNN article above is mentioning that the idiot CNN interviewer asked loaded questions to force Ms Vonn to get political as well as hoping she would get anti-Trumpian:

I hope she doesn't take a knee when our anthem is played, although I hear that she's used to being on her knees when she dated Tiger Woods.

To any sane, intelligent person, an invitation to the White House is a great, once in a life-time honor. Liberal idiots - how stupid can one be?

A few months ago I wrote I Am Returning to Blogging but it turned out to be a premature assertion. My back got worse and after physical therapy, an inversion table, two epidural steroid injections (all which failed), I went for a second MRI after two years of pain and daily opiods I decided on surgery. So a month ago, on Halloween to be precise, I underwent Laser Surgery on my L4-L5 lumbar vertebrae.

It has been 3 weeks now without so much as as an ibuprofen. I was instructed not to bend over or lift anything heavier than 10 pounds until I heal, a process that could take another few months.

I am also wrapping up a business project I have been working on for a year and hopefully now with more time, no opioids and practically no pain (other than from old age - I'm 72), I would like to return to one of my favorite projects in life, my blog. I should mention that the number of daily page views on my blog has taken a significant hit due to all my sparse blogging these past few years.

So that's an 80% drop in page hits. I'm going to have to work hard to rebuild my blog.

The leftist media does not only want to bring down the Trump Presidency, but they also want to "name names" against anyone that "behaves" in a way that seems to support President Trump. CNN, aka FNN - Fraud News Network, brewed up a Twitter storm Tuesday when they threatened to dox the Reddit user who created the body slam GIF that Trump retweeted.

Here is the story from CNN, and for once they're telling the truth:

The Reddit user who initially claimed credit for President Donald Trump's tweet that showed Trump tackling CNN issued an apology Tuesday for the video and other offensive content he posted -- one day after CNN identified the man behind the account and attempted to make contact with him.

Now the user is apologizing, writing in a lengthy post on Reddit that he does not advocate violence against the press and expressing remorse there and in an interview with CNN for other posts he made that were racist and anti-Semitic.

The user further apologized for calls for violence against the press in his statement on Reddit.

CNN is not publishing "HanA**holeSolo's" name because he is a private citizen who has issued an extensive statement of apology, showed his remorse by saying he has taken down all his offending posts, and because he said he is not going to repeat this ugly behavior on social media again. In addition, he said his statement could serve as an example to others not to do the same.

CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change.
