This organisation are looking for a Temporary Planning Officer to create a robust record of planning contributions and obligations we are creating a record of all S106 agreements.

The database is to provide a comprehensive source of information on all legal agreements.

They use the Ocella system to keep planning records.

This is to be used to record and monitor all future agreements.

A back record of existing agreements is to be created on the system.

The project is to summarise all agreements for the Council.

The priority is to start from 2002 to the present day.

Once these are complete back records need to be dealt with.

Key information on financial and non-financial contributions needs to be extracted from original legal agreements.

The role requires an appreciation of the planning context of the agreements and demands a planner with experience of S106 agreements to identify and summarise the key details.

Initially around 350 agreements require summary with the task anticipated to take around 3 weeks.

Dependent on other project factors there may be further work beyond this.

A full brief will be provided when the role commences setting out all information to be extracted along with a template for use.

You must be Town Planner with experience and familiarity with planning legal agreements. You will also need experience of data input work and it would be an advantage if you have knowledge of the Ocella computer system.
