About the role:

Following the retirement of the existing post holder, the Planning and Regeneration Service requires an enthusiastic, motivated and organised planning professional with significant recent experience in the preparation of local development frameworks to lead the Plans, Policy and Place Making Group and its approach to localism. This role includes the day to day management of the LDF, economic regeneration, sustainability, conservation and landscape functions and will make an important contribution to the Management Team for the Service.

You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide variety of people and work to tight deadlines with the minimum of supervision, exercising tact and diplomacy at all times. The role will require you to deal with complex planning and regeneration issues and to develop creative solutions.
