<p>- To ensure that trade operatives are kept busy and that they keep their appointments<br />
- To ensure that operatives communicate in a timely and accurate manner and in line with tenant’s requirements<br />
- Communicate any updates, changes directly to Planning Administrator and call centre staff<br />
- Communicate with the Team Leaders and Maintenance Assessors<br />
- Assist in general office routines and responsibilities including mail, photocopying, filing, data entry<br />
- Update electronic and manual data to maintain the integrity of the Housing Maintenance Unit records<br />
- Ensure that all cost centres for which you are managed within approved budgets<br />
- Promote the best interests of the Association and its policies in all areas of work<br />
- Maintain excellent working relationships with customers, partners, colleagues and key stakeholders<br />
- Keep abreast of development in legislation and good practice and update the Association’s policies and practices accordingly<br />

<p>As part of Southern Water’s continued development plan to attract the best talent, an exciting position has arisen for an experienced Asset Planner who will be based in Falmer, East Sussex. </p>
<p>The Asset Planner will be involved in the development of new asset management systems and processes to establish industry leading asset management practices, ensuring such processes that feed the Regulatory Business Plan become business as usual. Additionally, you will be required to identify and prioritise asset needs using advance asset planning tools, including scenario planning, modelling and interpretation of results versus specific output and serviceability performance targets.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will be degree qualified with experience in IT / Technical Modelling within a Utility or Asset Management environment. You will be a strategic and analytical thinker with excellent communication, verbal and written reasoning skills. Additionally you will possess the ability to evaluate and model complex regulatory &#038; serviceability issues and information and have an understanding of Water Industry regulatory framework and OFWAT’s business model.</p>
<p>Key Accountabilities</p>
<p>•Liaise with the SW Data team to ensure the Data Improvement programme delivers appropriate information to feed the new asset planning system </p>
<p>•Perform the asset planning process under the guidance of the Asset Manager, modelling scenarios and interpreting the investment requirements necessary to deliver the necessary Outputs and Serviceability performance to ensure the highest possible AMA score for SW</p>
<p>•Input to the development and optimisation of the Capital programme to deliver the above outputs and serviceability performance at lowest whole life cost</p>
<p>•Ensure the timely delivery of output briefs to the Solutions team</p>
<p>•Maintain strong links with the Regulatory business planning team</p>
<p>Experience within the Water industry would be ideal although wider Utilities sector experience will be considered for an individual at the right level.</p>

<p>As a planner you will be working on a freelance basis, starting ASAP until March 2014.</p>
<p>You must have previous site experience having worked your way from an engineering to planner capacity. </p>
<p>You will be required to plan the work using Primavera 3 or 6 and be happy to challenge the site manager or the programme to ensure the project is delivered most efficiently on time and within budget.</p>
<p>Successful candidfates will ideally have PTS and rail experience.</p>

<p>This organisation are looking for a Temporary Planning Officer to create a robust record of planning contributions and obligations we are creating a record of all S106 agreements. </p>
<p>The database is to provide a comprehensive source of information on all legal agreements.</p>
<p>They use the Ocella system to keep planning records. </p>
<p>This is to be used to record and monitor all future agreements.</p>
<p>A back record of existing agreements is to be created on the system. </p>
<p>The project is to summarise all agreements for the Council. </p>
<p>The priority is to start from 2002 to the present day. </p>
<p>Once these are complete back records need to be dealt with.</p>
<p>Key information on financial and non-financial contributions needs to be extracted from original legal agreements. </p>
<p>The role requires an appreciation of the planning context of the agreements and demands a planner with experience of S106 agreements to identify and summarise the key details.</p>
<p>Initially around 350 agreements require summary with the task anticipated to take around 3 weeks. </p>
<p>Dependent on other project factors there may be further work beyond this. </p>
<p>A full brief will be provided when the role commences setting out all information to be extracted along with a template for use.</p>
<p>You must be Town Planner with experience and familiarity with planning legal agreements. You will also need experience of data input work and it would be an advantage if you have knowledge of the Ocella computer system.</p>

<p>Description: Senior Town Planning Policy Officer &#8211; North London Waste Plan</p>
<p>An opportunity has arisen within the Town Planning Policy department to contribute to the early stages of a major inter-local authority project. You will be helping make arrangement for the new plan, analysing responses from the initial consultation and establishing critical relationships on the new duty to co-operate with other planning authorities.</p>
<p>The position is initially a contract position lasting six months but will be a four-year project with scope for promotion.</p>
<p>The Job</p>
<p>The North London Waste Plan will take four years to complete and you will be helping making vital initial arrangements for its efficient management, the production of a sound evidence base and effective community engagement. Two contracts need to be set up to carry out parts of the work and you will be helping the boroughs to specify the work, evaluate the tenders and liaise with the consultants over the work. </p>
<p>Person Specification</p>
<p>Experience of:<br />
- working on complex issues in a role focussed on spatial planning and the environmental agenda</p>
<p>- strategic policy development, drafting and engagement;</p>
<p>- project management &#8211; setting up, developing and monitoring complex and innovative projects;</p>
<p>- delivering agreed outcomes and improved performance.</p>
<p>An understanding of:</p>
<p>- the development plan system and its constituent parts;</p>
<p>- significant issues relevant to spatial planning in an urban area;</p>
<p>- how boroughs operate and their functions Ability to:</p>
<p>- take responsibility for a defined area of service or outcome and to deliver it in a high quality, effective manner;</p>
<p>- establish and maintain collaborative and constructive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders (professionals, members, and service users); Desirable</p>
<p>- knowledge of waste planning</p>

<p>This is an exceptional opportunity to join and drive a fast changing, highly profitable and ambitious company and team of people.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory for specific product groups and/or vendors to meet demanding customer service levels whilst remaining within working capital targets.</p>
<p>The main purpose of the role is:</p>
<p>To drive the S&#038;OP process within the business<br />
Liaise with Sales and Marketing teams to minimise obsolete and slow-moving inventory<br />
Maintain both dynamic and static master data to ensure efficient and effective operation of SAP<br />
Process owner for Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators<br />
Deliver strong key performance indicator results (Service Level to Customer, Inventory, etc) by developing detailed purchasing plans covering multiple brands and future promotions.<br />
Conduct root cause analysis for missed KPI’s and develop corrective action plans<br />
To build strong relationships inside and outside the organisation to achieve successful      results<br />
Promote a continuous improvement mind-set to the Supply Chain processes and      reporting<br />
Actively work with suppliers to resolve shortages and identify cost reduction      opportunities<br />
The successful candidate will have:</p>
<p>Previous experience in a similar role in Supply Chain/Material Control<br />
Proven knowledge and experience of SAP<br />
Experience of leading multifunctional projects<br />
Experience in an external facing role, either customers or suppliers<br />
An analytical approach to data management<br />
It may be an advantage if you had:</p>
<p>Previous experience as a MRP Controller, MRP Controller, Logistics Administrator, Materials Controller, Materials Requirement Plan, Purchasing Controller, Supply Chain Coordinator, Procurement, Buying, Materials Planner, Stock Controller, CIPS, SAP, Inventory Co-ordinator, Demand Analyst, Expeditor, etc</p>
<p>In return our client offers a basic salary of £25,000 &#8211; £30,000 per annum, dependant on experience, KPI driven Bonus Scheme, Company Pension and the opportunity to progress with a rapidly expanding organisation</p>
