Breast Implant Exchange, Mastopexy (Breast Lift) and Liposuction

Patient Profile:
This patient came to the office due to a rupture of her left-sided saline implant. Since her original breast augmentation (at another location) she had three children and felt her breasts had sagged and changed significantly in size. She wished to have fuller, larger breasts. After meeting with Dr. McMillan, this patient also wanted to improve the look of her inner & outer thighs as well as her abdomen. Liposuction was discussed as a good option for her to obtain better contour in these areas.

Surgical Procedure:
The patient underwent bilateral augmentation mastopexy with silicone implants. Additionally liposuction was performed to her abdomen and thighs.

Post Op photos were taken 6 weeks after procedure and again at 10 weeks. The patient is much happier with the appearance of her breasts and body. She is very happy with the results and her decision to have the surgery. She feels great and scars will continue to lighten.

Breast Augmentation

Patient Profile:
A 22 year old patient came to see us regarding the size of her breasts, which she felt were too small. Her bra size was a large A, almost a B, and wanted to be a solid B.

Surgical Procedure:
Dr McMillan performed a Breast Augmentation. The patient chose silicone breast implants and a 200 cc implant was placed on the right and a 175 cc implant was placed on the left.

The patient is thrilled with her results and feels great. Her post-op photos were taken 7 weeks after surgery.

Breast Reduction

Patient Profile:
A wonderful 47 year old woman came to see Dr. McMillan regarding her large breasts who had complaints of neck, upper back and shoulder pain. She also had frequent rashes under her breasts due their large size. She had done physical therapy to help reduce the pain but it did not help reslove these issues. Her breast size was a 38 G

Surgical Procedure:
Breast Reduction Surgery. During the surgery, Dr. McMillan removed 690 g of tissue from her right breast and 804 g from her left breast. Post Op photos were taken 2 1/2 months following the surgery.

Breast Reduction Photos Before and After:

The patient is feeling and doing great. The patient is now wearing a C cup bra and no longer has the pain that occured prior to the surgery.

Gynecomastia (Male Breast Reduction)

Patient Profile:
This 46 year old patient came to see Dr. McMillan with complaints of an enlargement of his right breast that became evident about 20 years prior. He had a mammogram and it showed that it was normal breast tissue and there have been no changes since. He was self conscious, even around family and did not take off his shirt.

Surgical Procedure:
Dr. McMillan performed both liposuction and direct excision of breast tissue. Post op pictures were taken 10 weeks following the surgery.

Gynecomastia Photos Before and After:

The patient feels great and is really happy and now feels his chest is symetric. He forgets that he no longer has to feel self conscious and can walk around without his shirt on.

Breast Reduction

Patient Profile:
Our 40 year old patient came to us seeking smaller breasts as she currently wore a size 34 DD bra. She felt her breasts started getting larger in her 20’s and continued when she had children. She had back, neck and shoulder pain and went to physical therapy to help relieve the pain, to no avail. She told Dr. McMillan she would love to be anywhere from a size B to a C.

Surgical Procedure:
Breast Reduction Surgery. Dr. McMillan removed 330 grams of tissue from her right breast and 521 grams from the left. Post op pictures were taken 9 weeks after surgery.

Breast Reduction Photos Before and After:

The patient feels great and very happy with her results. Her scars will continue to fade as time goes on.

Breast Reduction

Patient Profile:
This 59 year old patient came to see Dr. McMillan with complaints that her breasts were too large and making it challenging for her to dance, do aerobics and be active. She was having shoulder, upper back and neck pain. She had tried massage therapy and lost 50 pounds, neither of which decreased the pain or the size of her breasts.

Surgical Procedure:
Dr. McMillan performed a bilateral reduction, removing 590 g or tissue from the right breast and 674 g of tissue from the left.

Breast Reduction Photos Before and After:

Post Op photos were taken 4 months following the procedure and the patient feels great. She is back to teaching aerobics and doing more physical activity more easily. Scars from the surgery will decrease even more as the months pass.
