Existen proyectos hoteleros en marcha que permiten establecer que el crecimiento de la infraestructura turística irá en ascenso durante los próximos cinco o diez años. Es una ciudad muy bulliciosa en la principal calle llamada la 5ta. avenida que es paralela a la costa y es donde se encuentran la mayoría de establecimientos como tiendas y restaurantes.
