Okay gamers lets face it, most of us have never played online before and most of us never will. Why? Isn’t the reason too obvious?
We don’t have the ORIGINAL copy of the game. I used to suffer because I wasn’t able to test the online feature of any game which was a crucial part of the game I was reviewing. And this frustration reached its limit when Gears Of War came to me. As a blogger and game reviewer I was determined to get a solution to this problem; and it was then that I stumbled upon this “solution”. And from that time onwards life has been great.
If you wanna play GOW online then do exactly what is written below:-
Important:-
*******Make backups of the original files in your GOW install folder that this fix will replace.
(note: this fix will remove any of your old profiles, such as your saved campaign, keyboard configuration, and you are only allowed to use one player profile per machine)

1. click Here to download Hamachi client
2. click here to download the GOW hamachi Fix (if there asre no seeds tell me i'll start seeding)
3. open the Compressed file and paste the files as specified
4. install the hamachi client and join any of the 5 GOW networks

To play surf on the IRC room and look for players and get their Hamachi IP address from them and when you are in the game open the console (by pressing ~ key) and type...
open “IP address of the player hosting the game”

For example you might type...

open 5.1.3.29 (fake IP)

where this is my address if I’m hosting the game

Remember: do not host the game if you’ve a slow connection or are downloading something otherwise your players will run away due to too much lag.
