Tokyo Hobby Show, October 2012

2012-11-16T05:43:00.002-08:00

Following are collected photos and videos I took from The Tokyo Hobby Show in October 2012.

This is the FULLY LICENSED Heckler & Koch HK416D from Tokyo Marui unveobby Show 2012. It is based on the sopmod/recce gun so it is compatible with the magazines and batteries. It is CNC aluminum. With the first ambidextrous selector switch from Tokyo Marui. Laser engraved markings. The recoil shock on this gun is improved compared to the sopmod and recce rifle. They also unveiled here the new HK M320 grenade launcher to go with the HK416.

This is the FULLY LICENSED Heckler & Koch MP7A1 gas blowback from Tokyo Marui unveiled at the Tokyo Hobby Show 2012. I was able to try it and as expected from a Tokyo Marui product it is very tempting. The trigger response is almost the same as the TM Hicapa which makes this one very useful in indoor CQB games.

Gundams, Robots and animes

RC and Drift Cars, Tamiya and other model cars.

Model Trains and other model hobbiecrafts.

Marushin UZI (AEG)

2012-10-15T18:33:00.001-07:00

This is the Marushin UZI Automatic Electric Gun. It is the full metal frame version. This is already considered an old AEG in today’s standard, in fact you can already called this a vintage toy.

The box is nicely presented and color coordinated in blue and yellow.

In the box, the gun sits primly on its molded styropor packing, complete with loader, battery, charger (which I already lost) and one standard magazine.

The left side view. There is a sling attachment at the base of the handguard.

The right side view. You can notice here the scratches on the metal folding stock, which happens every time you extend the stock.

Removing the top of the frame you see immediately the old school gearbox, or the lack of it. There is no gearbox in the gun, the gears, piston, cylinder, etc are all built into the frame of the gun,, which makes this one a classic.

Here is the battery that comes with the package. It is a NiCad 8.4V battery with 500mah capacity.

Here is how the battery goes into the frame of the gun. I was amazed at the good ROF of the gun even with the battery that comes with it. Watch my video.

The selector switch is shown here, D – full auto, E – semi auto, and S – for safety (which is the German version. Israel version is ARS)

Just one more photo, this is the real UZI submachinegun.

Luminox 8813 - Navy Seals Anniversary Edition

2012-06-24T20:59:00.000-07:00

This watch was from the Luminox 8800 series, and Olive Drab version is the Limited Navy Seals Anniversary Edition. On how limited it is, I have no idea since there a lot of sellers who are still selling at the time of posting this.

The hard box, looks like carbon fiber design on the top.

The watch sits inside fully padded leather covered foams with black and red motif.

The Olive Drab faceplate goes well with multicam gears. This one will definitely be my game watch from now on.

The back plate is also made of carbon with proper laser marked brand logos and trademarks.

Since the watch is mostly made of Carbon, I was surprised when I first held it in my hands which only weighs 55 grams. Compared to my Oakley crankcase which is very heavy metal, this lightweight watch is definitely geared towards my airsoft lifestyle. With all the airsoft gears that I put on, this lightweight watch is a great addition.
