A lot has happened since the first version of Dreamlords. Apart from numerous updates with brand new interfaces we have customizable Dreamlords, 3D patria for you to walk around on and massive changes to techs, traits and balance just to name a few things.

We have used the feedback and knowledge gained over the months to build a Dreamlords that is better than ever before.

Current Game Status

We'd like to point out that we are in testing now. So bugs, temp graphics and template content will be frequent. We have changed the very foundation of progression in Dreamlords the Reawakening and it will take some time to let that stabilize. Even if the experience of playing right now won't give you the best of pleasures it will give you the chance to give us early feedback on changes. We greatly value your input on things and we are certain that the changes to come will bring you a better Dreamlords than ever.

Yes, you read it right. Dreamlords the Reawakening will have a free to play version when released, not a short trial of a week or so but you will be able to play the most challenging online strategy game for free!

It is a sad day for our friends at Auran as many of the staff have been released with the company going into liquidation. The launch of Fury's new update 'Age of the Chosen' will still occur, and Fury will remain operational under a new Free To Play set up.

A statement from company CEO Tony Hilliam said that "The Directors of Auran Developments, the company that employs all the Auran staff, have today called in a Voluntary Administrator (like Chapter 11 in the US). All the staff were dismissed today."

This news follows last week's downsizing of the staff, and additional outsourcing for the company, due to a weaker then expected launch of Fury. Hilliam continued by stating that “We have put together a small but committed team to continue developing FURY on an ongoing basis... We will be releasing bug fixes, content and feature updates on a regular basis and in fact they will be more frequent with our new agile team...I believe that once people hear about [the new Fury content] and the new Free to Play business model, we'll start building up the player numbers and revenues that will make the game successful."

We at Alchemic Dream wish to offer our sympathies to those affected and our hope for a speedy recovery for Auran Developments.

According to sources for The New York Times, Second Life's CEO Philip Rosedale and CTO Cory Ondrejka have seen a difference in their futures which has caused Ondrejka to walk the company's virtual planks. Ondrejka who joined the company in 2000 has been involved in operations and programming from the ground up.

In a statement, Rosedale said ''The needs of our company are changing, and the role of CTO, or technical lead, has also evolved,'' and ''Cory and I are in agreement that our paths, at this point in time at least, lie in different directions.''
