A few years ago, I ran a Kickstarter campaign for a book idea I had. It was successful, and I was able to self-publish a book. Originally I shopped the book idea around to several publishers, who all showed interest, they just did not show any money. Since I was able to publish and distribute one book successfully (and get it on to Amazon!), I decided I would do the same for the other book projects I had in mind. And then all kinds of things started to happen.

We had some family medical issues. My dad passed away suddenly. We moved. Life happened. So many distractions and life events took over for a while, and the book stuff all got set aside for a while. But thankfully everything is fine now, and we are moving forward with several new book projects.
