Ask.com: Just Don't Expect An Answer

I wonder when people will stop treating the information super-highway like the gas station off an exit, one that they pulled into for directions, even though they have a satellite navigation system.....then having the dumb attendant, who has a wall full of maps behind him, saying: "I'm not sure because I just moved here, but I believe it's that way."......followed by the guy in line behind them, who overhears all of this while scrolling through his I-phone chiming in with: "No. I don't think so. I could be wrong, but I believe it is back that way."

That's a pretty accurate metaphor for Ask.com and the rest of those sites, where morons go to share their lack of knowledge with one another. It's like asking someone wearing a watch, holding a cellphone, and standing underneath a giant clock for the time and having him respond, "I don't know, but I'm pretty sure it's after 2." Or dialing 411 for a phone number and the operator tells you: " OK, don't quote me on this, but here's the number." Or punching in '2 + 2 =' on a calculator and having it spit out "4....give or take."

And just to make it even more illegitimate and confusing, each uneducated guess is open to a public vote, which is used to rank them in order of credibility. So whichever answer has the best percentage of idiotic endorsement, or "thumbs up," is labeled the "Best Answer." Not to be confused with the correct answer......or just the answer.

Don't get me wrong. They are useful for certain things like taking opinion surveys, but these "ask a fellow fool" sites always pop up on the first Google page when you type in a question, a simple question for which you would like a simple, definitive answer to, such as the question that prompted this discussion, earlier today when I broke my no-ask.com rule. I needed to convince a misguided friend that cat hair does not CAUSE asthma. I was expecting a simple (and factual) "No." Instead ,I got an "I think so," followed by a story of how a kitten once gave a person the sniffles and an "I don't think so," based on equally significant evidence and, as one "Ask-contributer" barked, exclamation points and all, cat hair not only causes asthma but hay fever as well.

Having misinformation is worse than having none; some say it's actually dangerous.

I recently visited a relative who is fond of our President, and I asked her how exactly it was that he paid for school, laughing at the notion that he simply had taken out student loans. She disappeared into her study, printed something off the web, and within minutes she proudly produced some literature, with my answer highlighted in bright yellow. "There you have it," she said.

Sure as can be, it 'confirmed' that it was student loans which put him through Harvard. The site she used for reference? ChaCha.com. The information marked was written by someone named "Obaman68." In her defense, it was the very first link to appear, and to the casual googler, that is expected to be legit, and it should be.

There's calendar on the wall right next to you; you don't need to ask the guy who accidentally stumbled across your question going from the Kim Kardashian Report over to the latest in pro-wrestling what today's date is. I'm not saying he definitely won't know it, but.........

We Just Don't Need Them

This idea that without being protected by police and military, we will be swallowed up by brutal invaders or some Mad Max type gang will move in and terrorize neighborhoods, is just wrong, I believe. Rather, it is only the same people who behave like this and have been since Babylon. Our reality is shaped by them, by distorting history as well as the present. It's far from hocus-pocus. It's actually very easy, if you control the news and the history books, which they do; that's a fact. They have, through those simple tactics, unleashed wars and enacted legislature based on sheer fabrications. They have created an existence where we are separated into groups and told lies about each other, about the way we live, what we believe, what we plan to do, instigating fear and conflict. We are told that the people across the borders and seas are dangerous enemies.

Mammals of the same breed don't fear other. They don't conquer each other. They do fight for sport. They fight over their mates. They fight over their private piece of turf, meaning don't run in another man's house. But they don't murder, torture, enslave or rule. Insects do that. Bees live to serve the queen, not humans. Ants colonize, not humans. Those who have been in power since the "great flood," all the way up to the President, who ALL share the same royal bloodlines, who are all part of a global network of secret societies.....evidence would surely suggest....are not human.

The quality that humans do possess is that they are spiritual beings, and when separated from their "source" (God), as they are by these creatures since birth and every day following, they are filled with a void. They spend their lives missing something, that completeness they had for a little while as a child. They KNOW instinctively they are missing something and are disconnected, but they aren't sure what. They are never told.....exactly. Because that is what they exploit! And so they have manufactured bogus religions throughout the world, which are sprinkled with enough divine truth to capture the faith of humans, but are in fact used to divide. They are used to instill great fear, greater than any other, the fear for their immortal soul. They are told exactly what to do, how to behave, and most importantly, who to kill............and oh I forgot....who to give their money to.

The fear and stress put upon people through religion, fear of each other, fear of perishing if you don't have enough, stress to achieve more and more and the greed that comes along with it, the social pressures that arise from being taught separateness........and all of that jazz......certainly don't help either when it comes to mental health. That combined with everything else we mentioned is bound to create some fked up individuals. It's really no secret that upbringing and conditioning from a young age creates the world's psycho killers. Many times it's a bad step=parent or foster home. Well, we all have bad "alternative" parents....the ones that our real parents are forced to hand us over to when we are 5 years old, who teach us all of these qualities. Sure, they will say, "We teach them good wholesome American values!" Yeah right, like bombing the shit out of a country over nothing.

And when a person snaps under one of the many pressures placed upon him, the media, which they own, is right there to cover it, so then we can say, "People are just evil." The mind is very powerful and can be manipulated easily, but if everybody is so evil, violent, and dangerous, how come when one of these stories comes out you always hear everyone around you saying, "Oh, that's terrible." Why aren't people saying, "Oh wow, he killed two people with his bare hands....cool. I wish I could do that."

Police are supposed to protect and serve, but all they serve are summons and fines. Don't get me wrong, they will sometimes catch and punish, but very rarely do they protect. Neighborhood watches are always more effective when it comes to a killer on the loose, and they don't have helicopters, satellite radios, infrared and glocks.

These insects have humans believing that success in this life is to have a good job. They scream and yell because they need jobs! People will say, "But you need a job to live." No you don't. You need a job to live THEIR way. You need a job in their game, their reality. People say, "If everyone stopped working, the country would fall apart." Well, that is certainly an opinion, and I strongly disagree. I think the day our "economy" collapses will be a major step toward purging this world of them.

Money is not necessary to live, and yet they have created a reality in which we think it is. The fact is that humans beings run around saying, "Please, please create more jobs." meaning, please give us more occupations, meaning please occupy us.

The definition of occupy is to seize, to control. Is that what we need? Not me.

On The Trayvon Story

It becomes very interesting when you add some cynicism to your evening news, especially the top story, the one that dominates headlines of every “nationally recognized” news outlet in the country, the outrage, the one the President has an opinion on. In this case, of course, it’s the horrific tragedy of Trayvon Martin, the young, black teenager who was apparently murdered at the hand of a self-appointed neighborhood watch captain, another renegade who tried to take the law into his own hands, yet was allowed to walk home by the seemingly incompetent (and quite possibly racist) local police force.

It is the kind of heart-breaking story where you can feel the pain of the victim’s family and share their anger, one that is usually met with a collective effort to seek justice on their behalf and, more importantly, do whatever is necessary to ensure that this will never happen again. This usually results in government action. I would describe it as an injustice, apparently fueled by racism, met with enough widespread empathy to garner majority support in an area it normally wouldn’t. Can you think of any other stories like that in the national media?

Many New Yorkers recall a similar story in the 80s known as the “Subway Vigilante” that featured a white man who shot and injured a group of black teenagers in what he claimed was self-defense. In the end, public opinion was somewhat divided as he was found not guilty of attempted murder, so the similarities and differences remain to be seen until the facts are given, but the formula and the overall message remains the same.

Why, just when it seems like we were “getting along,” does some fool have to go and do this, and set us back in our fight against racism? That’s what I thought when I heard the news, not realizing how ignorant the question is. It implies that this is the first time this happened since the last national outcry, but it isn’t.

Statistics say that 17,000 murders are committed every year in the U.S., and of course, that doesn’t count the ones that are unreported. That’s 45 murders a day. The percentages between black and white offenders and victims are, for the most part, split, which means, without going too deep, that there are most likely thousands of blacks killed by whites every year, probably around ten a day (and vice versa). That means, in no uncertain terms, that roughly 300 black Americans were killed by white Americans since the day of the now infamous Trayvon Martin story. 300.

Now, I have no idea what the circumstances were surrounding the other 25,000 or so inter-racial murders that have taken place on President Obama’s watch, but obviously they weren’t important enough for him to take notice. With all due respect (not really), the murder of children who “look like his son would,” if he had one, by a white man because he is different must not be too deplorable to him, since he orders such operations on a daily basis. (Maybe he only means young men that speak the same primary language as his imaginary son, and is on our side.)

Why then did he take time to address the nation on behalf of the Martin family, stating that they should “expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves, and we are going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened."? (as opposed to the rest that do not deserve squat) That is a generic line directly out of the play book. You should recognize it if you read it again. Sound familiar? That is EXACTLY how our beloved Patriot Act was born.

And so it becomes clear. He is not outraged by this. As we see, this happens daily; he is responsible for such actions daily! As tragic as it is, there is nothing which makes this story any more worthy than the rest. So, again I ask why.

Well, I don’t have that answer exactly, but if I had to surmise I would start by removing the emotion and looking at the facts:

We know, from our study of Nazi Germany for one, that the masses can be swayed by carefully controlled propaganda.

We know that the major media outlets are owned and operated by a handful of wealthy, elite Americans, the proverbial 2%. (Some “lists” have only five corporations owning them, while others name over thirty, but either way that boils down to a handful, and although it becomes more diverse locally and online, let’s face it, if a story is blasted on the big boys, the rest will have to follow suit, lest they appear worthless.)

We know that this group of media moguls, along with their major personalities (the Cronkite, Jennings, Brokaw’s......) and leaders or key members of government, finance and education from around the world are all members of a handful of organizations, which hold private meetings in undisclosed locations on a regular basis. These include The Council on Foreign Relations, The Bilderberg Group, The Trilateral Commission....and others. These meetings are a veritable who’s who on the world stage, yet they are NOT reported by the media. Shocking, but not at all surprising.

(By the way, it is fun to catch sound bytes of politicians, whose futures are determined inside these elite groups, dance around questions regarding their membership. Obama was my favorite when he was asked at a town hall type discussion if he was a member of the CFR, he played it like “I don’t know.....”,.turned to his wife (or his assistant) and asks, “are we a member? I dont know I’m in a lot of groups.......” and chuckled. Next question. lol Yes Barry, you are a member.)

So, you have a small group of elite making decisions over cocktails at high brow clubs and spas as to how to wield their power. The fact is there are hundreds of stories a day that are capable of grabbing public attention. They simply need to be broadcast as a “national story” and covered on all the major outlets, there businesses. Just imagine that, rather than being addressed by the President, the Trayvon story was found exclusively on page nine of your local paper. Horrible? Yes. Are we talking about it? Nope. Conversely, take a local slaying from page nine and have it lead the evening news. Instant outrage. There are over 500 million people in this country, and they do all sorts of outrageous crap that would piss you off.

Then I would look for similarities in these major stories. As I mentioned before, stories like this often involve, besides racism, either a vigilante or a rogue cop who goes to far and inadequacy by the local police, either by causing the vigilant mindset with its failure to provide a feeling of security prior to the incident and/or a lackluster investigation conducted following.

So, I would conclude that they want to keep racism alive, for one. That’s a no-brainer. Keeping us divided is what our democracy is all about. A monarchy gives the people one common enemy to rebel against, but the two-party system splits them down the middle. OK........

But, more interesting to me (but not surprising) is the dual message that says: Taking the law into your own hands is not a good idea, because whenever we attempt to protect/police ourselves, kids die. and We need to leave our safety up to the government....BUT not the locals because they are incompetent fools.

hmmmmm.......... what do you guys think? Totalitarianism? Are the so called Conspiracy Theorists right when they claim that the goal a one world government? I don’t know, but it sure looks like it. You could even say that they telegraph their moves. Yet, nobody sees it.

Columbus Day

The Merovingians

This bloodline and its offshoots includes a long line of pharaohs in ancient Egypt, including Rameses II (1295-1228 BC), who is considered to be the greatest pharaoh of all. He was his country's master architect (sacred geometry) and his name can be found on almost every ancient shrine. The gold mines of Nubia made him rich beyond the imagination. Alexander was taught by the Greek philosopher, Aristotle, who in turn was taught by Plato and he by Socrates. The bloodline and the hidden advanced knowledge have always gone together.

This key bloodline comes down through the most famous Egyptian queen, Cleopatra (60-30BC), who married the most famous Roman Emperor, Julius Caesar, and bore him a son, who became Ptolemy XIV. She also bore twins with Mark Anthony, who has his own connections to this line and its many offshoots; this bloodline also connects to Herod the Great, the "Herod" of the Jesus stories, and continues to the Roman Piso family who wrote the Gospel stories and invented the mythical figure called Jesus!!; the same bloodline includes Constantine the Great, the Roman Emperor who, in 325AD, turned Christianity, based on his ancestors' stories, into the religion we know today, and King Ferdinand of Spain and Queen Isabella of Castile, the sponsors of Christopher Columbus, who instigated the horrific Spanish Inquisition (1478-1834) in which people were tortured and burned at the stake for in any way questioning the basis of the religion their various ancestors had created.

More than that, the most used version of the Bible [King James Bible] was commissioned and sponsored by another strand in the same bloodline, King James 1st of England. Just a coincidence, nothing to worry about! The line of James, according to genealogy sources listed below, can be traced back to 1550 BC and beyond and includes many Egyptian pharaohs, including Rameses II.

The bloodline moved into France and northern Europe through the Franks and Meroveus or Merovee, who gave his name to the Merovingian bloodline, and it continues with the rest of the Merovingian clan like Clovis and the Dagoberts who connect into the elite secret society, the Priory of Sion and the Rennes-le-Chateau "mystery" in Languedoc [Provence], Southern France. Many books have been written recently which claim that the Merovingians are the bloodline of "Jesus".

Some of these authors have just been mistaken, others have blatantly sought to confuse and mislead. The Merovingians are a key bloodline, yes, but it has nothing to do with Jesus, who was invented by an earlier family in the same line, the Pisos. Authors like Sir Laurence Gardner (Bloodline of the Holy Grail and a favorite of Nexus Magazine and its owner, Duncan Roads) MUST know this and yet they still connect the Merovingians to "Jesus". Why??

The Merovingians were Goddess Diana worshippers, as are so many in this line to the present day. They founded the city we call Paris and on one of their former sites of Diana ritual, Princess Diana was murdered in the Pont d'Alma tunnel (meaning "bridge or passage of the Moon Goddess") on August 31st, 1997. As The Biggest Secret points out, the Windsors, another Merovingian bloodline, were very much involved in this ritual murder.

From the Merovingians, this bloodline's connections to the present day include: Charlemagne (742-814), who ruled as Emperor of the West in the Holy Roman Empire; a stream of French kings, including Robert II, Philip Ist, II and III, and Louis Ist, II, VI, VII, VIII, VIIII, XIII, IX, XV, and XVI. The latter married Marie Antoinette of this same bloodline and both were executed in the French Revolution. But they produced the son who became Daniel Payseur, who was taken to the United States where he became the secret force behind the Morgan and Carnegie empires and owned vast amounts of real estate, banking, and industrial holdings.

This bloodline also connects to the de Medici family which supported Christopher Columbus and produced Catherine de Medici, the Queen of France who died in 1589. Her doctor was Nostradamus: It includes Rene d'Anjou, Duke of Lorraine, and the House of Lorraine which employed Nostradamus and Christopher Columbus. The bloodline relatives of the de Medicis and the House of Lorraine, Queen Isabella of Castile and King Ferdinand of Spain, were also sponsors of Columbus when he "discovered" the Americas.

This bloodline also includes the Habsburgs, the most powerful family in Europe under the Holy Roman Empire; Geoffrey Plantagenet and the Plantagenet royal dynasty in England; King John, who signed the Magna Carta; King Henry Ist, II, and III, who were extremely close to the Knights Templar, as was King John; Mary Stuart and the Stuart Dynasty, including King James Ist of England, sponsor of the King James version of the Bible; King George Ist, II, and III; Edward Ist, II, and III, Queen Victoria; Edward VII; George V and VI; Queen Elizabeth II; Prince Charles and Elizabeth's other offspring, Anne, Andrew and Edward; Princes William and Harry from Charles' "marriage" to Princess Diana; US Presidents, George Washington, John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and George Bush are all named in the charts as strands of this bloodline; it was passed on to the year 2000 US presidential favorite, George W. Bush Jr., and his brother, Jeb Bush, the Governor of Florida.

In fact if you go deeply enough into the genealogical research you will find that ALL the presidents are from this line. Genealogical sources, like the New England Historical Genealogical Society and Burkes Peerage, have shown that 33 of the 42 presidents [up] to Clinton are related to Charlemagne and 19 are related to England's Edward III, both of whom are of this bloodline. A spokesman for Burkes Peerage, the bible of royal and aristocratic genealogy based in London, has said that every presidential election since and including George Washington in 1789 has been won by the candidate with the most royal genes. Now we can see how and why. United States presidents are not chosen by ballot, they are chosen by blood!

This same bloodline also includes key Scottish families like the Lords of Galloway and the Comyns; Marie-Louise of Austria, who married Napoleon Bonaparte; Kaiser Wilhelm II, the king of Germany at the time of the First World War; and Maximilian, the Habsburg emperor of Mexico, who died in 1867. On and on it goes into country after country. This bloodline connects into every surviving royal family in Europe, including King Juan Carlos of Spain and the Dutch, Swedish, and Danish royal lines.

Plume Adresses An Obama Supporter

He just couldn't help it. What started as just a pleasant stroll through the digital representations of all his surviving friends, family, associates, and acquaintances, a collection built by that magical algorithm, on the world-changing site called Facebook, with every intention to 'keep it light,' turned into a lecture. (for which he didn't even charge lol)

The Professor has told himself to be understanding during this time, known as 'election time,' from now until November of next year, when another Freemason with the proper royal blood/DNA is appointed-----I mean, elected. If not, the political rhetoric will most certainly drive him to actually become what most already believe he is---insane.

But, that will have to begin tomorrow. Here is a response to his FB friend, Eric, who is a Philadelphia radio DJ and who most always incites very interesting discussions......sometimes too interesting.

How many times must I say it, Eric, my man, my mellow....O-bomb-a is a puppet. So was Bush. They all carry out the agenda of the 'ruling' class, the 'illuminati' if you will, the royal bloodlines (of which Obama is a part of, being a cousin to Dick Cheney), that date back to Medeival Europe, back to Alexander the Great, back to ancient Babylon.

The bottomline, though these people who call themselves 'democrats' and want to pretend this guy represents them and not the people who put him there simply won't acknowledge, is that O-bomb-a promised everyone he would bring every soldier home--this after he condemned it as wrong and evil over and over again. YET, here we are three years into his term and there are still almost 50,000 troops there, he has increased troop strength in Aghanistan, he has about 1600 soldiers' deaths on his hands and who knows how many Iraqis killed, maimed, left without homes.

You know the bit, but we love to conveniently forget about that and talk more bullshit "healthcare" proposals. FOH I'll tell you the healthcare plan, same as always, get people to buy medicine, simple as that.

Now, recently he has promised (once again) to widdle down to 3000 troops by the end of the year, even though he clearly said 'ALL,' and so the dems are running around saying that he has cut it to 3000, bullshit! He has a full load over there firing away. I will eat my wallet if there are only 3000 troops there at the end of his term. I would like to know how a mother of a soldier who was killed in that quagmire over there, three years after voting for this guy on the premise of ending the Iraq war, feels about healthcare.....or Gay marriage or the f---in economy. lol

Underneath all of the left wing talking points, which have been made ever popular after the Bush presidency (which was all in the design), and the fact that it is "The First Black President" (even though he's about as black as soap), is the plain fact that the mission has remained exactly the same as it has been---ever since the Rothschild family created the state of Israel out of thin air in a movement called "Zionism" where he basically said (under the guise of 'world leaders' of course) that GOD told the Jews it was their land. Period. No questions asked, and after the holocaust (again part of the design), sympathy was sky high everyone felt they deserved it.

So under that bullshit he started a marketing campaign to get American and European "Jews" (and their $) to the new Israel, where they receive first class treatment over the native Jews that were there for a thousand years, living in Palestine in peace!!

Let me summarize: the JEWS that WERE living in Palestine, and simply called themselves 'Palestinians', were pushed aside in 1948 to make room for Rothschild's "Zionist" Jews; the Palestinians were completely driven out and "terrorized" and there you have Israel.

The ends to all of this, an agenda that O=bomb-a is driving full steam ahead, is control of the entire region and its resources, not to mention good old war profiteering...and the ends to all of THAT, is very simply Global Domination, and they are very close. It could probably be thwarted if we stop the ridiculous left-right hamster wheel that have us on.

Don't take this a s a dis on "your boy" but the fact is that, much like his predecessor, who he now hails as a 'great American,' he is responsible for a body count that puts guys like Manson and Bundy to SHAME! My (super left-wing) mom says , "well, I don't know what it takes to get 50k troops home." hahaha Put them on a fucking plane! lol Peace my brother

So many leaders, including U.S. Presidents and even Hitler, spoke about the "powers that be" often, but of course, much of it flew right over our heads.

1913 - President Woodrow Wilson publishes "The New Freedom" in which he reveals: "Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the U.S., in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it."

Let's Clear Up This Terrorism Thing

We are now ten years into this "war on terror" and still, as Americans, we know as much about this so called enemy as we did on the day we were told they destroyed the Twin Towers. Who are these psychopaths who 'hijacked Islam' and 'want to rid the world of western infidels.' -- or something like that? Why didn't they 'hate' us this much before, let's say, World War II? Coincidentally, they began to discover oil in the region around that time, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I think it's about time we identify who it is, exactly, that is causing all of this trouble; we need to know who to fear, who is truly the 'axis of evil,' so I'm going to clear things up. In short, the antagonist is Israel. They are the 'bad guys' in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but that doesn't mean the Jews. The Sephardic Jews, who are a 'second tier' citizen in the new Israel, lived about a thousand years in peace alongside Arabs in the region, before the real problem moved in.

I'm going to skip the part about the Nazi's, because you're not ready, and go right to the subsequent move by the all-powerful Rothschild family, known as Zionism, the creation of Israel, their own personal country. So, the Israeli population is an apartheid, made up of the real Jews, who were already there back when Americans had no idea who they were, and the Zionist Jews, who flooded in with the Rothschilds after they manipulated the creation of a powerful country one day, sixty years ago.

These new people, who came from Europe and America, took over as the dominating class and the leadership in Israel, backed by their powerful friends that make up the US and British governments, have no empathy for the Palestinian people. This is why every Israeli PM is so blatantly racist towards them. As he continues the tireless construction of his new album, which he considers to be of great importance, dismissing his earlier 32oz catalog as 'recreational' and targeting the infamous year 2012 for its release, Professor Plume (who is operating under a host of pseudonyms throughout the project, including Thorton Melon, Oscar Wild, producer Muddy Bottoms, among others.), takes a moment to address the new 'direction' of this blog, in preparation for what has been tentatively dubbed, The Awakening:

Hello to all,

For those who enjoyed some earlier, more frivolous writings here, like the still-unanswered letter to Brandy's mother, forgive me. We still hold the art of Sarcasm in the highest regard possible; however, it had to take a back seat to more pressing issues. Even I can only juggle a certain amount of balls before they come crashing to the ground.

For others, who have enjoyed the newer, more serious themes here, such as the enslavement of the human race at the hands of a satanic illuminati, namely a handful of interbreeding families who are behind world affairs, namely the U.S. government and Zionist Israel, thank you for the comments, for and against. Again, I apologize for not following up, and again I blame other endeavors, namely the rebirth of SF, which will be no secret here shortly. lol

With that said, I encourage you to at least peek in every now and then, as I plan to breathe some life into this page, just to catch you up on what I have been researching in the 'off-hours.' The posts will basically pick up where we left off, speaking about the bible and looking at it with a rational mind, but it will take you SO much deeper. I want to share what I've learned since the day I was suddenly inspired to question a religion, into which I had been fully indoctrinated and injected with the full dose of fear that it is designed to instill.

That last sentence is important, and although I've mentioned it several times, it always bears repeating. I did not just 'decide' to begin writing inflammatory things about the government, religion, and life in general. My alter-ego, Your Dali Mama, has been on a spiritual journey for some time now (as you can follow in his sporadic writings here) and all roads led to here. I'm hoping you will feel more comfortable at least knowing that I have no prior agenda. We'll see.

So, I only ask to keep your mind open, way open, from this point on. What I am going to do is try to simply start from the beginning by purging my emails and other posts/messages that I have sprinkled around the web (mainly to my headstrong mother, as you know. lol), in regards to this topic, to catch up. I will also be regurgitating information from different people, and I'll give them credit when I do.

But, know that I am just telling the story from my perspective, combining years’ worth of reading in this golden age of research, and I will never blindly repeat something without verifying it thoroughly, of course. I am not taking credit for any of the groundbreaking work that many have put into uncovering this; however, the way I see it, we cannot have too many people trying to explain the truth. If, for some reason, I can get through to one person when another fails, it's worth it.

Instead I would point you in a more spiritual direction (NOT a religious one). Basically, look inside yourself, think, meditate, question things, lose your fear....etc. Many different 'new age' teachers are writing great books these days, referring also to great literary works by enlightened ones throughout history. (Unlike Icke), I feel Buddhism and other Eastern philosophies are excellent guides, but basically this is all one knowledge, I call truth. Once you tap into the truth, it all makes perfect sense.

Before I start posting, you could ask yourself a few questions to warm up to things:

Why is money so important to everyone throughout history? It turns humans to animals, yet it appeared alongside "civilization" in the history books. What turned humans so thirsty for money and material things?

Who decides what gets to stay in the bible and what is irrelevant?

Why are we so warlike, bringing destruction and killing in great numbers, all since we became "civilized?" Why do we have the mentality that we must conquer territory? Who decided what "rules" we need to live by? Who decided that as soon as a child knows what is going on in the world, they are to be stripped from their families and taught about 'their' history (from a book written by who?), taught how to act 'right,' and exposed to laws and punishment, and basically 'bred' to be good 'cattle?'

More importantly, why did ALL of these things that still bind us today, like language, government, politics, school (indoctrination), war, conquest, ...religion...etc. all instantaneously "sprout" out of literally nothing, as was the case in ancient Sumer and Babylon.

Think about that for a minute. According to history, the human race lived for over a million years as various forms of homo-whatever, which incidentally was probably far more advanced than we are today if you think about it. Have we not already begun to phase out writing on paper, in favor of storing information digitally. This entire blog exists only as 1's and 0's, the computer's binary code.

So, imagine that we were a thousand years advanced from today, in an inevitably digital world, where money and books are stored digitally, when a catastrophe, such as a great flood, destroyed the planet. How would the survivors who returned to rebuild civilization, possibly access the world wide web? They couldn't. The entire Internet would exist, full of "ancient advanced knowledge," just outside of our consciousness. Now, imagine a group of ex-microsoft employees were among them. They would have an edge. The analogy is loose, but it works perfectly.

Given that scenario, we can see it is very possible that what we call the beginning of "civilization" was actually starting over. It may or may not be accurate, although Icke and many others believe that to be the case. What is accurate is that following a million years of "homo-evolution," in which humans survived as peaceful hunter-gatherers, with no sign of a hierarchy, evolved almost overnight into the gaudy, ritualistic, warlike, territorial, indoctrinating, god(and devil)-worshipping, homo-sapien sapiens. Interesting....and baffling to most historians.

The professor's biggest supporter and antagonist, his mother, Mrs. Rosa, asks for his opinion of the recent uprisings in Libya. The blatant reverse psychology in the first sentence, including the DM reference, only served to ensure just that.

Don't mean to send you off on a rant (ala Dennis Miller) but I was curious about something (and besides, I need to practice my typing skills). Do you not think that what is happening in Libya, Syria, Egypt is a good thing? It kind of reminds me of the American Revolution where people decided to take matters into their own hands......it seems as if the people have taken it upon themselves to overthrow dictators and take control of their government, which to me, seems like a good thing. I understand the caveats, that is who exactly is taking over, are we trading one dictatorship for another, is it a bid by the powers to be to gain the oil, but I tend to remain optimistic about the whole thing. You know me, always wanting to believe the good in people. Anyway, I am interested in your opinion.

For the record, I have decided not to waste my time following this story, figuring that a new world order is inevitable, and unfortunately injustices will occur around the globe that I can't stop. To answer your question, however, I think it has all been orchestrated as part of the plan to control the Middle East region moving forward. Let me explain:

It is not only documented to death, but it also makes all the sense in the world that the group of powerful Englishmen who settled this country and wrote the constitution have been in power since day one. This is supposed to be a democracy, a model for the world, and you mean to tell me that we have "democratically elected" all family members?! How can they tell me we have a pure democracy going on here? lol From Washington to Quincy Adams to Jackson, no one else had a chance, as if they were just taking turns, two-terms each, so they could get everything in place, like set up the first central bank and so and on...MY question is WHEN did these people relinquish that power? What year did it happen that they signed things over to "the American people?" When did they hand over the keys to the White House? Answer: They didn't! And why would they? Would you? In school, they tell you that you could be president. That's not true. It's a very select group....very select.

We are talking about powerful families, like the Bushes, the Rockerfellas, in cahoots with their friends, the middle east OIL countries, the saudi royals, the UAB.....I don't know, nor should I have to, all of the "relatives" who make up the group, but they are these people, direct descendants of our founding fathers, who always remain in key positions of government, enough to control it. They have been called 'illuminati,' but that's really just a generic term for such a faction and not necessarily the original Knights Templar.

(What I'm trying to hammer home, and have been unsuccessful in thus far, is that Barack Obama, like Bush before him, IS NOT the most powerful man in the world, not even close. He is a good-looking, well-spoken politician with the necessary bloodlines to be president, Dick Cheney's cousin, actually).

This aristocracy, which is what it is, is just a little over 2 centuries old (That's about 9 generations, not too long at all really). During that time, they have mastered the art of social engineering and propaganda, of course all backed by the good ol' bible, (that good book that's been keeping people in line for 2000 years!). They control the money flow through the federal reserve, using a brilliant system of debt, interest rates, and income tax, all made possible in one off-season afternoon with a bill pushed by Sen. Aldrich, in-law to Mr. Rockerfella and fellow 'blue blood.'

There are many documentaries that show exactly how the two work succinctly (income tax and fed. reserve) to form what is a never-ending, "debt-based" system, controllable by moving the interest rates and the supply of money itself. They were also completely responsible for the great depression (just read about it).

With all that said, I am almost certain that if I did begin to dig into this story of the Libya uprising, then it would confirm my belief that this powerful group I have been speaking of has a vision for the Middle East, not the people, but the land that has been fought over forever and just happens to still be rich with resources. I believe they were tired of rogue dictators like Saddam and Quadafi, fellow oil tycoons in direct competition, who wouldn't 'play ball' the way they wanted them to (and that could be anything. We know that Saddam just didn't like his oil business foe, who used our military to flex his own family muscle.)

These are the guys they paint as psychos and label public enemy #1. You remember McCarthy-ism; I remember the evil commies, the evil Ayotollah, Manuel Noriega, Quadafi, Saddam, all crazy men who needed to be stopped. We have been meddling in that region, playing double agent, ever since they struck oil after the war; before that you never heard a peep out of the area. We cared about as much as we care about Africa, which has been riddled with "madmen" dictators and oppression. Do Africans not deserve "democracy?"

Follow our actions post- 9-11. We immediately went for Afghanistan---not for oil but for their geographical location to build a pipeline, an important component in the business of oil trade to Eastern Europe and an ongoing subject of conflict in the area. It was also the reason we were supporting Osama Bin Laden throughout the 80s against Russian invasion. Not to mention their enormous poppy fields, which had been largely shut down under the Taliban regime, but are up and flowing again in peak numbers thanks to us.

After that, of course, we went for the oil; this is interesting. Think of the villians we have seen in that area over the last few decades, many we just named. Think of the countries which have "caused trouble" for us, the perennial axis of evil.
Now, here is a list of the most oil-rich countries in the middle east, in order. Out of 30 countries in the region, 18 of them produce oil.: (click here for actual numbers)

Saudi Arabia--- Number 1 and our number 1 friend. They are VIP here. Prince bashir is more powerful than any senator.
Iran- well, well-- They wont play ball with us and are therefore THE AXIS OF EVIL
Iraq-- coming in at number 3, but arch-nemesis to Sir Bush, also a member of the axis of evil and a true madman that we have rightfully disposed of. We freed those poor people. They will now have a choice between TWO leaders like us. (Of course, both will be very friendly towards America when it comes to the oil)
Kuwait--good peoples- They play ball--and in return we are their bodyguard whenever they decide to slant drill into Iraq.
United Arab Emerites- also very nice people.
Libya--Has refused to play ball with Bush since 80s and is therefore a true psycho madman. We must support the (very america-friendly) rebellion and free those poor persecuted people.

Those are the big six; after that the numbers start to get thin, but rounding out the top 15 are countries you have heard of like Egypt, Syria, Sudan, and Yemen, all in the news, going hot and cold. But not every country in the middle East has oil. Here is a list of the oil-less countries in the region and tell me when the last time was that they were mentioned at all for anything. lol

Somalia-- you know how much we gave a crap about them.

Tunesia was last on the list of countries that HAVE oil, with only a small fraction of the others. They are located right next to Libya on the map, but they are in bed only with France when it comes to oil, have limited exports and really have nothing to offer. Just last year, they revolted against their prime minister/dictator who was a corrupt man and had been pillaging the country's wealth, solely for the gain of his family for the last 20 years. Not only was it a successful revolution, but it was done peacefully, through demonstrations, the real American Way, good over evil, a perfect example of the morals we are supposedly trying bring to that region.

Did you hear about it? How many times have you heard the word 'Tunesia' on the news? lol

So anyway, yes, I believe this was totally provoked (most likely through what we hear them cal human intelligence? It is a classic tactic. Any government agency worth a damn can pull it off.

As far as how do I feel about us, in one way or another, removing these country's governments and replacing them with their own personal versions of American democracy and capitalism? Hey, misery loves company!!! lol Just kidding. The sad fact is that, in thirty years, kids will know nothing about Iraq. Saddam Hussein and George W Bush will be answers on a history test (that's IF they still have tests then), and all of these families will continue to rule, generation after generation.

My question for the future is what will happen when the NEW powers (Bill Gates, The Google guy) and the old powers (Rockefella, Rothschilds) clash?

Trying To Explain To Myself One More Time

After having what we would call, a moment of clarity, Professor Plume scrambles to the first pen or keyboard he could find to try, yet again, to explain it....mainly to himself.

We are eternally whole. We are one with "God" or the Divine or the Source...
As soon as we enter the physical world, we begin to disconnect from the Source, as a result of the evolution of human consciousness, which has surpassed all species that we know of. The disconnect was a product of our natural survival skills, namely memory and fear, which create emotions. (It is accepted throughout the science community that emotions are learned not hereditary. It is really a whole subject in itself, yet it is actually simple: In our natural quest to be complete and reconnected to source, we also fear the thought of loss. All negative emotions, worry, fear...etc are due to a fear of losing something that we have formed a relationship with.)

In other words, you could use the atom comparison. We are, in fact, made up of atoms. Atoms are constantly looking to form bonds. Everything in nature looks to form bonds. The difference is that only humans, being the "smartest" of all the animals, are afraid to then break those bonds, as is also natural.

This disconnect at birth, which is called 'Original Sin' by some, is the evolved consciousness of man that allows for reasoning or rational deduction, that tries to make choices based on memory (and fear), using our misguided sense of reality, rather than just DO. This is also called our free will, and it is what makes us "superior" to all other animals.

From the time we are born with this OS, free will, disconnect...etc, until what some call the "age of reasoning," when we begin to be thoroughly conditioned by society, is a period that is magical to most of us. We remember that pure innocence and long to go back, but alas, "it's just not the way it is." Well, actually it is exactly the way it is.

The way it isn't is the world we are then thrust into, when our ego is fully developed. The ego has many names, and it appears everywhere. You could called it the Devil, with horns and a pitchfork, the false self, the flesh, the earth, hell, eternal suffering, temptation, evil, sin......it all mirrors our constant desire to form relationships, to be whole once again. It's just natural that when you remove something, it tries to reconnect. It is just a fundamental truth, and it's obvious when you think of us, a fish out of water, yearning for relationship with God.

Only, we don't know God.

So, there you have the idea of false gods. It could be anything, a car, a job, a partner. When we say something is our 'god,' it doesn't mean they are literally worshiped, but actually they are. We never feel complete, but we always say to ourselves, "If I could get that job, I'll be straight!" or "Wait until I get that house (girl), haircut, whatever, then I'll do this and that." But these are all dead ends. It is the Devil, the ego.....sins of the flesh. Sex, gambling, drugs, narcissism, workaholism, perfectionism.....It is all just us looking for a relationship. If you read about Adam and Eve or Lucifer, if you read any tale of the beginning, by any culture, at any time, and you can see parallels to these fundamental things.

Here's the best part (or worst part). Usually, at some point, we all come to a realization that it's time to seek God, what we are truly missing. In fact, it was known in the beginning what we must do to be whole. The earliest man to come into this advanced state of consciousness (which we just mentioned, gives us the elevated sense of memory and fear, which causes us to create emotions, such as greed, jealousy....etc...all the way to war and death, basically the Devil, Hell, his dominion here on Earth,) knew exactly what had happened and what was needed to prevent it. These are our ancient adages, our ancient wisdoms, magic, alchemy, going back to Egypt and Babylon...etc.

BUT, the Devil, or the ego, the false self, basically the dark side of man is very powerful. From this fear of loss grew greed, and to be powerful and wealthy enough to never experience it was the motivating force. The ones at the top knew they must control the masses. So, EVERY SINGLE GOVERNING INSTITUTION used the same, obviously effective, model, using these fundamental truths and wisdoms, tweaking them in a way that fits the particular time and region, while manipulating them to be contradictory to their enemies, as we see in the eternal Islam/Christianity/Judaism conflicts, involving the same fertile region, with religions that intertwine just perfectly enough to cause trouble for the other, or at least give a reason to.

Basically, the powers that be and always were will NEVER relinquish power. I don't mean Sadam Hussein. I mean the ones above him, above the US, Russia, China....the ones that rule the WORLD, and always have.. They KNOW about man's constant longing to be reconnected with God, the Source, the Divine, the Light, so they are conveniently right there, with a "way" to heaven.

There are many, many different ways, divided among many governments (and often customized). They are set up perfectly to perform the following functions:

In no particular order and not limited to,

1.Keep us divided, worshipping different "Gods," in different ways, with different rules, that make one person more righteous than the next. A great example would be the gay marriage debate, perfect to keep our collective eye off of what they are doing.

2. Keep us paralyzed by the fear of God. We certainly don't want to burn in hell eternally, so we walk a constant tight-rope with our morality. We live in fear...(worse fear like Bing Crosby's kids. lol j/k)

3. Great money-maker!!!!

4. Keep us from really seeking the truth, since we are already registered with the church, our spiritual work is taken care off. Most people believe their church donations have bought them a ticket to the after-life, (at least coach.) This way, they don't have to worry about too many of us being awake.

OK, here's the final summary:

We are born disconnected and always yearn to be back with the Source, where we belong, where all things are, but we are "tempted by the Devil" with all of the other possible relationships that will fill the void, but really won't, like sex, drugs, money, power.

As we all know, these relationships always end in either death, where the person has gone so mad searching that it becomes fatal, or in the realization that, in fact, these are NOT the way to being complete, God is. (How many times have we seen that play out and asked "how the hell could someone be unhappy with all that money?" Of course, no matter how many people we see in tears telling us that material wealth isn't the way, we still want to try it out for ourselves!)

When it does happen though, instead of being shown the true way to the Divine, the governments, throughout time, have hijacked the ancient truths and have set up institutions known as religion, which are basically a branch of government, an extension of their control and nothing more, to give us the illusion of a true spiritual search, while providing all the benefits mentioned above.

And here we are.

Also, I will say that, like all of the pleasures sought by the ego, the government sponsored religions can certainly provide a measure of relief, and like those other pleasures can often be abused. It is certainly very possible that this abuse will eventuality lead to the Divine on its own, somehow, if you are receptive enough to the lessons.

Well, the light seems to be dimming, but this is positive stuff, really.

The Professor meets Pro Warez Arguments

While roaming about the beautiful, anarchical matrix known as the Internet, the Professor stumbled upon a forum, modestly called The Best Forum Ever, where the following arguments in favor of using warez, or pirated software, was posted.

The morality of copyright infringement is also disputed, with members of warez groups often viewing their actions as "socially positive". Proponents of warez software might argue the following:

1. Difficulty of implementing copyright enforcement – Warez groups believe that they are allowed to continue their activities due to the nature of Internet globalization, inconsistent worldwide laws and technical difficulties in tracking warez groups.

2. Difference between copyright infringement and conventional property theft – Cracking software is different from theft or stealing other people's property, namely, it does not deprive the use of the software from the original owner. For example, if Alice steals Bob's car, Bob will no longer be able to use that car; but if Alice copies Bob's software, Bob can still use that software with no trouble.

3. Difference between legally wrong and morally wrong – Although copyright laws state that it is illegal to crack people's software, there is a difference between "legally wrong" and "morally wrong". To them, it is indeed morally right to do so. It is beneficial, at least to the users of warez.

4. Criticism of copyright laws – Some warez groups may regard copyright as harmful to society. For example, it hinders creation and over-protects the rights of copyright holders. Sometimes the protection is even ridiculous or unnecessary. For instance, it is ridiculous to regard "a legitimate backup copy of a purchased CD" or "a format transfer of music (eg. from * .wav to * .mp3)" as illegal in some countries. Also, current copyright law can extend copyright for centuries, and many feel that older works should have entered public domain.

5. Criticism of copyright holders – There are various reasons, including: some warez groups may hate copyright holders or their companies. They distribute software as a form of revenge possibly because they have had bad experiences with the software company(s). The copyright holder is unjust or greedy in that it exploits its own staff.

6. Philosophy of freebies – All software should be distributed free of charge. Reasons include: the effect/cost of creating software is just one-off. It is wrong to charge every copy of the software.

7. High price – Since copyright holders sell their products and services at an unacceptably high prices, users should not pay for these companies or holders.

8. Perceived injustice of the poor – This point is similar to the above reasons. Warez groups feel it is bad not to share products and services with those who could not afford to obtain it otherwise. These groups compare themselves to Robin Hood.

9. Full trial before buy – Some software owners only give function-limited demo or do not give demo at all. Users need to fully trial them before deciding whether to buy it or not.

10. Deprivation of individual rights – Laws such as the Digital Millennium Copyright Act may also contribute to the motivations of those involved in warez, as user rights are increasingly threatened in the United States and rights holders attempt to lock out consumers.

11. Increase market share – Companies such as Adobe, Borland, and Microsoft have gained big market shares due to vast numbers of warez users, such as college students and working people who adopted applications as they were readily available. Later when they find out that the software is useful, these people purchase legitimate licenses for future uses. This helps companies with software familiarity and dominancy. (Some, such as supporters of the Open Source movement, consider this a negative.)

12. Victimless crime – Many "warez" users only ever obtain what they can get for free in the first place. For example, a person who is interested in accessing a song they once heard may not be prepared to buy the entire CD to get it, or may only be interested in a program for a trivial matter that would not justify spending large amounts of money on it. If the warez user truly never would have purchased the product, it is argued that the copyright holder does not incur a loss. Generally, a "warez" user would not have purchased the product, or a similar product in the absence of the "warez" option, and would have opted for a freeware or open-source product, or simply have gone without.

13. Monopoly and cartel strategies – Many companies use their position in the market to ensure that they have full control over it, making it impossible for other companies to provide alternatives. That privileged position is then used to inflate the prices. Some consider this itself as a result of piracy.

14. Lack of production – Particularly in the piracy of older video games, often people will pirate games or TV shows that are no longer in production but have not become public domain. While illegal, not even the company that made the product is losing money directly.

15. Superior Product – Warez is often perceived as superior in quality to legally licensed software. In the process of software cracking, the cracker often will remove restrictive or other undesirable features, such as Digital Rights Management, product activation, resource limits, hardware limits, nag screens, reporting back to the manufacturer, or time-limited features. By adding copy protection to software, a manufacturer may actually create a perverse incentive to pirate the product, as the pirate product contains fewer limitations or annoyances than the genuine product.

16. Regional Issues – Consumers often cannot purchase the software they want at any price due to regional lockout, or simple lack of availability in their specific geographical region. Furthermore, authorities in certain jurisdictions have ruled that regional restrictions violate principles of free trade and fair use. In these jurisdictions, the use of warez or bypass devices, such as modchips, may result from a citizen's desire to reclaim consumer rights under applicable laws or administrative regulations.

17. Privacy – As Internet availability becomes more widespread, a greater number of software titles are relaying information back to the manufacturer. Due to the complex legal and technical jargon present in End-User License Agreements, many users are unable to properly give informed consent to such disclosure. In addition, some users feel that modern corporate privacy practices facilitate privacy invasions, aggressive marketing, telemarketing, and spam. The incentive to pirate such software arises out of the fact that pirate software is almost always devoid of features which relay personally identifiable information to third parties, or serve interests other than that of the user.

18. Rejection of Capitalist/Consumer Society – A smaller number of warez advocates base their behavior upon a fundamental rejection of the nature of the Capitalist system that creates (and creates the perceived need for) and sells the products in question. While the knee-jerk reaction to this argument is that such users shouldn't thus be using the software at all, these politically-minded users often cite reasons of protest and/or the fallacy of anyone being able to realistically walk away from life and society regulated by the companies and governments that enforce the systems being opposed herein.

Naturally, he couldn't resist and joined the discussion, which was about even, for and against. He didn't realize, however, that the original post was made two years ago and immediately following his remark, which was naturally meant to inflame, as is vintage Plume, a forum regular called for the "old" thread to be closed. The Professor didn't take that very well, and he proceeded to kick up a small firestorm, and although he will point out that he never once strayed from the original topic, it led to him being thoroughly lambasted by an unruly mob for two days. Plume later commented that the whole thing had been "a pleasant surprise."

Why would you close a thread right after someone comments on it?? Because it's old? It's not like a current events topic. Not to mention, the dates are screwed up on this site anyway. It said everyone on the thread posted on the same day in 09. To call for a thread to be closed like that is like shutting the door in someone's face. lol If you don't agree with the post, say why.

That is similar to the sites that "debunk" all of these so called, "conspiracy theories," with a bunch of paper thin arguments but then only allow "approved" comments. Maybe, it was inadvertent, but for the BEST forum ever, if someone responds to a topic, that means it's interesting to someone. It's not like the board is overflowing with posts. lol I think there's plenty of bandwidth to even accommodate "older" posts.

So, anyway the topic was a good one. The pro-warez arguments. My take was :

I love #2, also, SHM. Nice post. and 6,7,8,10 but my favorite out of all of them is 12! Read that all you hall-monitor, self-righteous, defenders of the earth. Worry about your own house. You're just afraid of doing anything that the government tells you is bad. READ NUMBER TWELVE and stop being a little b----. And for the other spineless yellow-bellies that are afraid of their own shadow, talking about (in a little girlie voice) " Oh I'm gonna get a virus...."" Read number 15. Jerks. Tattle=tale, middle management, snitches..........

And I will add that I can see something to the effect of licensing for commercial use only. Meaning that if you use the software to make money, as in a business, then you need a license and that is how these poor software "companies" which are actually a few guys writing a program lol (It's not like they have factories set up across the country with hundreds of workers at each distributing these programs to local stores. Many do it as a hobby.) make money and, might I add, are compensated very well for their work, if it's worth a crap. Most of the time their demos are so limited, you can't really know what the hell you're buying until it's too late anyway. Then they 'upgrade' every five minutes, which means they tweak their program a bit, based on thousands of emails explaining exactly what to tweak, and charge a whole new fee for it. Although they are nice enough to give some kind of "deal" to upgrade.

And they are so paranoid about squeezing every dollar they can out of their code that 20, 30, even 40 percent of it is wasted on security, as number 15 eluded to.

Then there's the fact that the more people using it the more popular, the more 'commercial' uses they will recieve. In other words, it is in their best interest to have EVERYONE using their stuff, in non-profit capacities, of course. It is only free-promotion and familiarity for when a 'commercial' enterprise does exist and a software must be chosen.

How do you differentiate? Same way they do now. Same way they do for music licensed in the same manner.

Can we leave this open for a minute. Maybe someone will actual want to answer that, even though the discussion is so OLD and stale. lol

So, the topic is old, yet you feel the urge to comment on it, and quite a long comment at that. Now, it is my understanding that when a topic is deemed "old", it is because nobody cares. Well, aside from your twenty paragraph comment, I see 7 more under it, in one day. In the business world, they would say, old or not, if it brings attention, it stays. What makes this "not so current" anyway? lol It doesn't matter, though, because you could use the term "kid" and tell me to stop crying, but you put your foot in your mouth. Similar to the fools that wait on hold for 30 minutes to tell a radio host his show sucks. lol

About your fiery response to a "dead" topic, I will again direct you to number 12. If a person was not going to buy the software anyway, how exactly are they taking money out of the programmers pocket? How exactly, and in what world of business, does free promotion, free "training," and widespread familiarity with a product hurt sales? Bear in mind that I did say they should acquire a license before using it in a commercial setting, in other words, to stay in the context of #12, if they were going to pay for it anyway.

In regards to your diatribe: "Do you ever buy multiple copies of a program if you don't have to? Can a program wear out? (yes it can be upgraded, but again, work has to go into that in order to make it even eligible for repurchase). No, not it can't."

I would say programmers not only upgrade their product constantly, as the entire system is designed to keep you on the treadmill lest your set up is deemed unusable, they OFTEN (as is a 'trick of the trade') double up, or offer redundant bundles, basically forcing you to buy crap you don't really need, or already own, in order to get something you do. In fact, I would add that to say there is no "repeat purchasing" or turnaround in the manner you suggest, in the world of computer technology, is asinine. Are you kidding?? They wrote the book on that sort of marketing. Please, tell me what you buy that wears out faster than the version of a software, that isn't labeled 'disposable.'

The automobile industry WISHES they can get away with the acceptable average lifespan on their vehicles that the computer industry does on their product. Computers AND programs are all but disposable. So, I seriously would choose another reason to weep for the poor programmers who are paid a king's ransom on the back-end of a program they wrote years ago, with only minor tweaking every so often, tweaking which was probably available in the first place. People would not pay a red-cent for the type of "upgrades" that come with each version of a program if it didn't render them "out of the game". It's a fine racket they have going, give up a little nibble at a time and keep us chasing the rabbit.

Again....when something is "dead" it doesn't get you to stop and talk about it. That means it still works. When a topic is "dead," that means it is solved. This is far from solved. That is akin to saying that the discussion about the morality of abortion is "dead." Or do you mean that you have already discussed it? Well, I'm sorry to intrude, but with a name like "Best Forum Ever" did you not expect company? And did you not think we had an opinion? That is seriously ridiculous. It's exactly like this: Calling your site The greatest place in the world to discuss facts.com, publishing it on the world wide web, then putting up a poll on your site whether or not you agree with the war in Iraq....but when someone new comes to answer it, saying, "Wait a minute, that's old." haha don't mean to laugh, but......

Now, if alternate opinions are not desirable here, I completely understand and will take my infinite wisdom elsewhere, but I would consider changing the forum name. As I have already stated, it's not like you don't have the bandwith.

Now, speaking of so wrong not knowing where to begin, or whatever it was:
Demos being limited is a moot point. Read about the software, understand what it does, and if you need it buy it. Hell, if you're in need of something that costs a couple hundred dollars, you should know before hand what it is and what it does.

lol Excuse me for laughing once again, but are you saying you shouldn't get to test drive a vehicle? You should just read the damn manual and make a decision. Right? I'll give you a pass on that ludicrous comment because I don't think you thought about it.

As far as software companies being large. Yes, many times they are, when they also manufacture hardware. A handful of people write code, and once it's done it's done, and they do a fine job and should be rewarded, again we go back to what I said about licensing software for commercial uses. It works just fine for the musicians who make a nice paycheck selling royalty free music. That is a large company. Often a program is handles by one guy, which is why, in most cases, the support is indeed pretty good, and personal.

The bottom line will always be that philosophically there is nothing wrong with pirating software. I've indicated already, but I shouldn't have to, that free promotion is always good. Software companies will only benefit, using my model of commercial licensing (a model which, again, worked for the music biz forever), if EVERY single college student uses and familiarizes themselves with their platform. That's obvious.

So, what's left is a morality issue, a bunch of self-righteous tattle-tales who want to spread their view of morality to every other glass-house on the block.

This is what I'm gathering:

1. You are offended by the "Forum with an agenda" line. You know, honestly, I thought twice about that. Probably not a great title, I admit. I'm sorry if it was offensive. Moderator, you have been decent to me, but I am not sure about the spreading love statement. lol Like I said I guess it was the word, "agenda," that's my bad.

2. We're cruising right along here for a dead topic.

3. Many on the forum don't like reading long paragraphs. Again, I apologize, guess I'm a little 'old school.'

4. The argument that stealing is wrong is completely subjective, not because stealing isn't "wrong," although philosophically one can make an argument for, let's say, killing, if it is principally for the betterment of society. We all agree that killing and stealing are close relatives, correct. There is an argument that can be made over what, in fact, stealing is. That was exactly the point of the list in the original post. I chose #12. So, please follow me, instead of calling me an a--hole who writes long paragraphs. If I say that I don't believe piracy is stealing because x,y,z (#12 for starters, or my long ass paragraphs), then a rebuttal of "Stealing is wrong" is not correct. I am assuming many of you are college students. If you have taken logic or debate or even philosophy, you have to agree that is true. Maybe I sound obnoxious to you, and that's cool, but the fact doesn't change.

5. Moderator and those who attempted to hold your ground without the torch and pitchfork. Thank you. I'm just a dude who likes to debate, who came across the best forum ever, which seemed like a place where people shared opinions, liked the topic and the original post, regardless of the date, saw the topic was still open and wanted to comment. For the record, when I posted my original response the date came up as 2009, and I noticed that everyone's posts read the exact same date. So, I took a moment to chime on on a pretty balanced discussion.....and the rest is TBFE history.

If you ever decide to "give a fuck" (as one intelligent poster claimed not to do) and read something so painfully long, instead of just posting a picture of South Park and telling me to f--- off, I'm sure you'll see that I did nothing to offend anyone here....except of course, the questionable title, which was wrong. Having an agenda would be every poster out for the same thing, like coming down on one side of an issue that is consistently split down the middle.

......and long paragraphs doesn't equal trolling, guys.

P.S Oh, yeah, in regards to writing code being harder than I let on, OK, fine, it takes a handful of extremely intelligent people xx hours to do-- Of course, they do get offered feedback daily from other very intelligent programmers from around the globe, who use the software and actually love to give their two-cents, something that engineers in other fields, like for instance, aeronautical or neuroscience or any of those jobs reserved for the intelligentsia do not have the luxury of receiving.

They also, ironically, spend a good portion of their time on anti-piracy measures, in an effort to maximize the already sufficient profits, instead of understanding all of the points that were laid out in the original, "dead" post and expounded upon by yours truly, taking away from time they could be enhancing their product, which would benefit those who use the software, something that is obviously of less importance. STILL, with that said, I concede that I underestimated what is an AMAZINGLY difficult task. It doesn't change the argument at all.

As you are aware, many times Plume will be drawn into FB discussions that go deeper than what he had for breakfast. Often times his viewpoints are challenged or, at least, questioned. Recently, a good friend of the professor was curious to know what exactly he meant when he compared religion to politics. Here is his reply: (remember, facebook rants are off the cuff and largely unedited. Please excuse any snafus and feel free to leave editor's notes in the comments area.)

Carla, my dear, I thought you'd never ask. What do I mean by Democrats and Republicans [being the same type of debate as the one over religion that has a father of six remaining incarcerated in order to defend his faith in Jesus Christ.], huh?

Well, I think I covered it pretty thoroughly when I went on a binge about this topic about three months ago. In fact, one title was something like Religion=Government, and that's exactly true. Of course, I am still learning how to express my thoughts clearly and everyday is a new chance to practice, so....

Let me first say that I still think, after all this time, that you are misunderstanding my position on all of this, and I believe it stems from the definition of "religion."

Christianity, the Catholic Church, the Baptist Church, the Church of Latter Day assholes...all of that is religion. They are political institutions, meaning they have constituents, they raise money (called dues or fees or taxes), they hold a specific moral stance on political subjects, they even lobby right alongside the NAACP and the unions and everyone else. In fact, the Catholic Church is a political juggernaut in this country as is the Jewish faith.

The political parallels are not only blatant like that, they not only steer our foreign policy directly (Israel-Palastine), but they are one in the same and always have been!

Back to Israel-Palastine for a moment, if you truly think that conflict is over which son of Abraham is the true heir to the promised land then I have a nice bridge over here in NY, actually a few of them. It's about money, land, power. Do you think the Ayatollas or Sheiks or Mullahs (one of those) are seriously religious. I don't, but they still run a theocracy, which I define as a government that uses the fear of God to breed obedience.

It is the oldest game in the book. Let's take a look at Christianity briefly. How did it start? It didn't start with Jesus. No, Jesus died and rose to heaven...(ok, I have no problem with that. I actually believe he may have lived, and his teachings ARE based on ancient wisdom. There's no doubt about that. That's why I say follow Christ! BUT THE RELIGION...)

OK, so Jesus rose to heaven, and a handful of people witnessed it. I believe it was Mary Magdeline and Thomas and a few others. The point is that It wasn't on pay per view! Nobody wrote a book about it or a movie or even a drawing. In fact, it wasn't until the 6th century that they figured out what he looked like. (you know, a white guy with a beard!)

Keep in mind the political landscape at the time. Roman Law ruled all, but as the Empires who conquered this area over and over often did, they allowed the Jews to govern themselves. You remember that's why Jesus was brought before Punctuos Pilate, the Roman governor. The Pharisees, which were a POLITICAL PARTY in the kingdom of Israel (consisting of different tribes), did not like the fact that Jesus was "rallying support" for someone other than their so called God, and like you said, they were as religious as George Bush is. Remember my definition of a theocracy.

But, they had to bring him before the governor first who said, "Do what you want with him." (in not so many words, of course, my guess is as good as Luke's, but we'll get to that)" He just wanted things to settle down.

So, Jesus rose from the dead, and there was some chatter about it, but that's it, UNTIL 5 years later, when Paul of Tarus, who was a Pharisee, a politician and not only a politician, but was known for being a radical, a loose cannon if you will, enters the scene. He somehow gets wind of the story and decides to start a new sect, the Christians!

So, he writes a bunch of letters. We know them as the famous "epistles," the basis of the New Testament, written by a politician, about 20 years after Christ's death. (There are about 15 missing years there between his so called conversion and the actual letters. things like this take planning, especially with no computers. Also, he never met the man, but it's cool because he said he saw a bright light on the road to Demascus that told him to write them, so it's valid, I guess.)

Ok, Paul kicks off the new political party, the Jewish Christians. If you read the accounts of his three missionary journeys, as seen in the book of Acts, it is nothing more than a political campaign, as he travels from city to city to give speeches (also known as sermons), accompanied by his friend and campaignmanager, Barnabus. By the way, St, Paul spent days in jail as a political activist criminal trouble maker (no surprise) before finally being put to death by the Roman emperor Nero who had enough of his hijinks, but the damage to the Jews was done.

Shortly afterward came the four gospels,, which are written accounts of Jesus' life. The first one was written by Mark, a dude that never met Jesus and wrote his biography two decades after his death, (BUT it was supposedly looked over by Peter so it's valid enough to base a religion on.) Then came Matthew; he was a disciple, so he decided to get in on the action. Mind you, he never thought to write such a thing before, but did so for the sake of the new party (and a nice fee I'm sure).

Luke followed, another political hack who never met Jesus and then John, whose version was written from a different angle than the others and has been called inaccurate, not surprising considering it was written some 50 years after Jesus' death.

The so called scholars have formed a myriad of different hypotheses as to who wrote which book when and who copied from who; still, as I said, imagine you and I and another person writing a story about someone we never met, twenty years after he died and then arguing whose is more factual. It seems that God should have only commissioned one person to write his son's autobiography.

At any rate, these aren't even the Gospels you know, as you'll see.

So, now you have four gospels (actually there are several Gospels, but these four made the final cut, 300 years later, as you'll see), and you have Paul's letters (and other literature written by members of the CNC, the Christian National Committee), which were the foundation of the new political party, the Jewish Christians, first headed up by a guy named James, the Christian party's Ralph Nader, if you will.

They enter the fray, along with the old school Pharisees and the Sudicees and the Assholcees, and the Christians have a new, hot thing going on. I mean, shit, a NEW messiah! So, they were hot out of the gate and, thanks to resilient campaigning by the group, picked up steam steadily for 300 years.

Of course, like any other start-up, they had it rough in the beginning. Back then, trouble-makers like Paul and James were killed, not just punished. We call them Martyrs, but you could only expect that the Jews who were still in power did what they can to stop them.

The Romans got in on the act because the Christians were trouble-makers. Like any other mini-revolt, they did annoying, you could say terrorist, things to be heard. Well, the Romans didn't like them for that , at first, and they even blamed a great fire in Rome on their anti-establishment activities. The Emperors used to throw them to the lions as an example.

Of course, we are taught that they were thrown to the lions because of their faith! lmao They were thrown to the lions for the EXACT, THE EXACT reason the Kurds were tortured or why any rebel or terrorist is punished when they get caught damaging buildings or blowing up trains. The Christians were looked at as terrorists.

Think how we, the US, a better parallel to Rome, because we are an Empirical nation, choose sides all the time when there is infighting in one of our provinces, I mean allies. Look at, (I don't know, we do it so often)...look at Nicaragua, we looked at the Contras as friendly and the Sandinistas as enemies. or Iran-Iraq..if you recall, Iraq were the "good guys"lol

Well, that was Rome's view on the Christians......UNTIL Constantine, Emperor Constantine. You may know him as the Emperor who "found Jesus."
No, he was the Emperor who decided to switch sides. Because the Christians had grown strong behind the new wave messiah and more powerful than the old Jews, so he started playing ball with them, until eventually, he liked the format so much, Rome decided to make Christianity the LAW or the political party or the religion or the law or the political party or the religion, all the same, are you getting that? of the newly named HOLY Roman Empire!!!

Of course, they had to work out some kinks. So, they had a meeting, and this is literal. They literally had a meeting!

THE COUNSEL OF NICEA 325AD, where the Romans got together with some representatives from each of their provinces and picked and chose exactly what they wanted in their new law book, I mean Holy scriptures. They took the epistles (Paul's bullshit letters), they took the four gospels (out of a shitload), they worked out the Creed. you know the NICEAN CREED, that all the parishioners stand up and chant at mass.

They went over that word by word. They even decided how the mass would go.
They decided what rules were inportant, what rules were to be stressed. Basically, whatever the Roman Senate thought was important, Jesus thought was important.

Then, of course, the Romans had to throw some of their own tradition in there, actually a lot. Much of the story of Jesus is based on Pagan ritual and belief, which was the ancient Roman religion of course. By this time it was just tradition, but haven't you ever wondered where the fuck a rabbit hiding eggs comes from on Jesus resurrection or a christmas tree and shit? lol (I believe the santa clause thing was thrown in later.)

See that's the thing. That is just the beginning. This thing has been the rule book for 2 millenia now!! The bible you read today is this book written by political activists who didn't know Jesus, generations after him, then edited 3 centuries later by a Roman council, then edited and amended by Roman Emperors, English Kings, and yes, US Presidents (such as Jefferson) for 2,000 years!!! lmao

I mean, really Carla. I'm not making this up.

Oh, and as far as the analogy to your story featuring Muslims vs. Chrisstian, Islam is the exact same thing. When Christianity began to spread, it spread across the middle East, to Egypt and Syria...etc This is the area we speak of when we speak of that time.

Anyway, about 200 years after the Romans dressed up their new constitution, it was working so well, that a guy named Muhammad, in Mecca, did the same thing our friend Paul did.

It was the unifying rule of the Arab world and it made for a great backdrop for the many, many conflicts that were to come, as the Muslims became the great Ottoman Empire and the Romans split and became the Holy Bystantine Empire and they fought forever, through the crusades, and all the way up to modern times, to that poor lost soul whole sold his family out for nothing!

BUT, it made for great motivation. I mean when you read Bystantine literature denouncing Islam, calling Muhammad a false and deceitful prophet.... That book, put together in Nicea over lunch and cocktails, holds enough weight that people will kill and die and kill and die for what is written in it.

(Another letter from the Professor written in ink with his fountain pen, so please excuse errors. This particular rant regards the police. It is split into two parts as noted.)

I understand that nobody cares because everyone has their own problems, but don't think of this as bitching, just a short read on how this system sucks, it's an extortion racket, I don't need cops, and we don't need cops.

Of course, the first reaction is a concern for safety (because I know if there were no police, then I for one would start killing people, as I think most would). So, since the world would surely become a scene out of Escape From NY, people who don't feel comfortable protecting themselves can hire a private security force. This IS a capitalist society, right?

I mean, I personally believe in the innate goodness of people, not the other way around, enough so that a neighborhood-watch type of set-up would work just fine. How many times have we seen just that, started by a group of people who were sick and tired of waiting for the bullshit police and wanted justice served?

How many times have you seen a neighborhood rally around the fact that a dangerous person was free in their area, and the pigs were incapable of doing the job and exposed for being a sub-standard, rag-tag operation, whose primary function is to make petty arrests and sniff out those criminals who park their car where they're not supposed to, in order to earn profits for the city and state? The answer is, "plenty," but you know what happens; they are called "vigilantes," and by doing what the useless flatfoots can't, they are BAD.

The cops, with their NARC unit (and the feds and their prestigious ATF and DEA) pride themselves on their "drug busts!" Ha Ha That is a joke. Forget about the fact that someone who smokes a little pot is labeled a criminal, branded for life, jailed and bled for his money and his dignity (unless you are the president's daughter. I am guessing that their record was expunged), and forget that the almighty statistics show that drug use is no more rampant in places where weed is decriminalized, and the only difference is in the government's revenue stream coming from marijuana-based fines. Forget those points.

The hilarity comes in the fact that the government KNOWS the drugs are coming in because they bring them in. Sure, they make some "busts" to help them look like they are actually doing something, but it just keeps on coming in, and they know it and are fine with it, because it is they way the system works! Imagine all of the jobs that would be lost if suddenly the war on drugs was a monumental success.

Imagine what would happen to a state's budget when you remove the billions of dollars taken in from drug-related fines, not to mention the cops, probation officers, state-sponsored programs and the rest of the employment based on collecting such fines? There's a reason why every time somebody with some common sense proposes to decriminalize pot and cites the 100 million dollars that would be cut from the state budget every year, they are shut down. It's not because the government cares about the public and refuses to subject it to "the gateway drug." Believe me, if the numbers worked out, they would be selling Marlboro Greens in a New York minute.

OK, I'll leave that right there, but anyone who doesn't think that the government is not only allowing, but promoting, the influx of drugs that earns them a fortune (and that's only the back end) and gives them job security, (meaning it gives the worthless gumshoes something to do like pose in front of all the drugs they stopped from coming in. Of course after the photo shoot and after it sits in the evidence room long enough to cover their ass in the particular extortion victim's "trial." Then it is thrown right back into the circulation.), should seriously think about whether these words apply to you:

naive, sucker, ignorant, denial.....for starters

So anyway, I challenge anyone to tell me what cops do for us, and why we need them. I'll probably get answers like: "What if your home is robbed?" To which I reply, again, cops do NOTHING about burglaries except give you a piece of paper to give to your insurance. I'm waiting for a story where they come rolling up to the victim's house with all their stuff and the guy who did it in the back seat.

A private investigatory group would be working to actually be the best and please the customer, rather than a bureaucracy that could give a shit less about their performance unless there's a bonus involved (or a news camera), because they make the same whether or not you get satisfaction. The former would be out of business with the pathetic, paltry, abysmal record that these vermin have. To repeat myself, are we in a capitalist society or a police state?

I hope after explaining that, I still don't hear: "What about a murder?" because....read it again.

We've already covered the farcical war on drugs, which exposes the frauds as nothing but a crime syndicate, so to bring up organized criminals, who only kill each other and do it in an effort to make their own money, without paying the bully, is not only a blatant catch 22, but it is an eternal game of cops and robbers that has nothing to do with protecting or serving the public. The days of Joey Knuckles coming around and emptying out the local barber's cash register are gone (along with the days of the population living in ignorance, controlled by the propaganda machine that had previously filtered the only official news they were privy to.)

We've also discussed neighborhood-watches, private security, and gun ownership (also known as "take care of yourself") as adequate and even superior forms of personal security, a topic I would happily discuss further if challenged. And with that, I once again ask, "Why do we need the cops?"

I have the answer:

We need them to squeeze us for more money, on top of what they already take automatically from our income and again from our purchases, which equates to about half, and we need that so the officials, whom we "elected" (out of the two choices we were given) to "represent" us (or pimp us out for cash), can line their own pockets. (Oh yeah, they also shave some off the top to maintain the roads and the crappy schools and the crappy public transportation...crap like that.)

Of course, as you should know by now, the riches go up even higher than the puppet politicians, but that's another discussion. Back to them, though:

They don't put it directly in their pocket, because they could get into trouble if people found out, although they do give themselves a pay-raise at every opportunity. No. What they do is build the pot. More tickets, more drug busts, more money in the budget of their particular town, city, state...etc, means they have money to bargain with when the lobbyists come around and ask for some, in exchange for basically anything from campaign funds to laundered cash to Broadway tickets. (You can't expect them to get by on just their pay and what they make selling their vote that you think you had a hand in.)

(Optional virtual experience based entirely on one man's journal, written as a therapeutic exercise that was suggested by his shrink, after displaying dangerously high signs of anger towards all government workers and joking about ghastly acts of violence perpetrated against them. So, with that said, let's look at a first-hand example of the extortion at work:

- A guy who we'll call Simon, a dastardly fellow with the audacity to have a cell-phone to his ear when he knows the dangers it poses, regardless of his own fifteen year history of flawlessly doing so, almost daily. (This type of streak would naturally ease anyone's tensions about a particular "hazard," especially when it can be logically rationalized by science, as well as common sense. For instance, Simon understands that the act of driving utilizes his sense of sight, which is why deaf people can drive and why car stereos can be very loud, but not TOO loud, that's another fine altogether.

It is a marvel that fines are not being given out for changing the station on the radio or perhaps the air conditioner setting, two activities that share the same devices as the operation of an automobile and are far more perilous. Pumping gas with the engine running is another detriment to society, yet it occurs in this country by the minute unnoticed. Surely, that is a gold mine waiting to be unearthed.

At least those rules involve others, unlike their favorite intrusion into the lives of their customers, I mean constituents: SEATBELT LAWS. See, this gem is what I call a "gateway fine" or a "tack-on fine," a side order, if you will. In many states now, this is all it takes to get pulled over, at which point the officer can try to find other reasons for you to give them money, on top of the nifty little fee it brings in itself. It is also fantastic for adding on to any other fine. It's an automatic bonus. Why? Because people don't want to wear their seatbelt....just like they want to eat red meat, smoke, not exercise, fly, ride a train, taxi, or bus, have sex, go outside in the rain, ignore hurricane warnings, go on amusement park rides, light fireworks, use sweet 'n low and cellphones, go tanning..... Wow! Look at all that money waiting for them! shhhh....)

Anyway, back to Simon-- He is fined $100. He chooses to contest it, but the people he is arguing against don't see it his way. Under the law, that means he is wrong, which is hard for any man to accept. However, his delay in succumbing to the whims of those in power, most likely seeded in his false belief that this is a democracy, in which rights are awarded to citizens, costs him another $100.
- At Simon's new address, around the same time, the garbage is picked up along the street where he parks. The truck comes by at around 10:00 am every Thursday morning. He often sees them as he is leaving for the day at that time or hears them out of the window.

In order to clear the street, there is no parking on that day from 8am to 1pm, which makes sense because they can not have a different time everywhere, so everyone who lives on a route is bound to the same time frame. Mind you, the goal here is supposed to be to keep the road clear that day for the garbage truck, and the fines are there to deter people from doing so.

-The ticket-writers in the area are also very familiar with the local garbage routes, and they are also familiar with certain cars in the area, especially a purple VW like Simon "used to" own. So, they are aware of who the residents are on a small residential block, such as Simon's.

After two years of strict obedience, Simon schedule is shuffled. Still, following the spirit of the law, but not the letter of the law (which one, are we taught in school, is the more important? I forgot.), Simon was certain that by 8:45 am, a full hour and 15 minutes before the garbage truck arrives, per their route, his car is not in the 'no parking' zone, because that is when he leaves in the morning according to his new timetable.

Certainly, it makes no sense to walk outside to move his car 45 minutes before he leaves when he is leaving anyway. Certainly, the ticket writers, who stalk the area every single day with one mission, to find illegal parkers, are familiar with such a car and not once, in around 104 mornings, has that purple VW interfered with the garbage route.

Still, the car was ticketed once at 8:00am and also once on the backside, on a day-off in which Simon had a 1:30pm departure and made a decision not to make two trips, especially seeing the emptied garbage cans and hearing the truck earlier at its usual time. Again, Simon felt this was simply a snow-job.

-They gave him another frivolous ticket along the way that he contested, as usual, yet as usual, in the eyes of the people who fined him, lost the argument to the people who fined him. With the addition of late fees, once again added because of a hesitation to remove his spine and surrender to the whims of the "collector," his total added up $600.

Simon makes enough to pay that, technically, but the government takes half of his income. He couldn't swing it on time. Because of that, his license was suspended, as was his registration. More fees began to compound. Because of the suspensions, Simon was not able to drive and had to spend hundreds on mass transit and cab rides to get to work and fulfill other responsibilities. The uncertainty of his transportation caused him to lose his job.

-He now sat at home, unemployed with a car he couldn't drive out in the street. He still had to move it twice every Thursday. One Thursday, following a four hour subway/bus ride to his doctor on the other side of the city the day before, from which he was still exhausted, the whole thing became too much for him. So, when he went out that day to move his car, he decided that he was not going to walk to the pharmacy that was about a half mile up the road, and instead, he drove to the pharmacy, figuring it wouldn't really matter because it is only a few blocks away. He was wrong.

-He was pulled over by the boys in blue and arrested, despite his pleas and his attempt to politely explain, to which they mocked him. His car was also impounded. A "spare," but still relatively new, computer was in the car as well. (Simon lazily left it in the hatchback covered, figuring it was just as safe there as inside.) When he saw the judge he was asked how much time he needed to clear up his fines and when he said a month, the judge said, "How about two?" He was forced to pay $200 in bail, returnable minus a house-fee, when he returned, or he would sit in jail. He paid, figuring he would try to explain to his landlord why he was short, as he must be more receptive than the police, who are here to serve.

He was to return in two months to prove he had satisfied his fines and reinstated his license and renewed his registration, at which time he may retrieve his vehicle. As it stated very clearly, the vehicle could ONLY be released to the registered owner, Simon, when he presented a valid driver's license and valid insurance, meaning Simon had to continue to pay his insurance premium for the two months the car was impounded.

As if it was a practical joke being played on poor Simon, his computer broke down three weeks into his penance. He asks the court to kindly allow him to reclaim his computer, which he felt was simply an innocent bystander in the whole situation, first through a string of unanswered letters and then in person for the ten seconds he was allowed after sitting in a court room all morning.

He tried to actually EXPLAIN the predicament, but there is no compromise when it comes to the city's funding, and they have simply no time for "favors." As far as they were concerned, they owned everything in the vehicle, and not one person, from the employees at the impound to the judge, was willing to budge. Simon was told, with the sinister scowl of a comic book super-villain, to come up with the scratch, and he would see his precious computer again, maybe.

So, with no car, no job, and no access to his computer, the headquarters of his world, Simon was expected to pay his exponentially growing fines. He did it. He accomplished his mission. He satisfied the court two weeks early; however, his bail money, needed to pay the towing fines and have the car released, wouldn't be returned until his scheduled court date. As he learned, there is no extra credit for finishing early.

-When the court date rolled around. Simon proudly stood before the judge and showed his receipts, totaling $840, that he had managed to collect, despite the aforementioned obstacles. He was ready to finally see his baby, his purple VW.

Of course, he figured that there would surely be a towing and storage fee, but he assumed it could not be too much, considering he was given two months to come up with the fines.He also recalled asking the storage place what they estimated his bill would be given the time frame, and he was told that they had "no idea," as it was handled by the courts. How could any reasonable person or entity expect him to pay much more than a couple hundred dollars?

Well, he couldn't understand why they had "no idea" because the fees were posted on the window of the records department, an area Simon was directed to at the back of the police area, downstairs from the court room in the "all-in-one" court house/city hall/police station/mafioso club house for scumbags. He had no idea that this area existed.

Unlike most establishments we are used to in this country, there is no such thing as "customer service." In other words, unlike most business structures, they don't even make the experience of being ripped-off easy or comfortable. They are the only game in town, and they don't give a shit. There is no handbook given out to tell you your options and state a clear policy as to the anal rape that is occurring.

-In hindsight, Simon wishes he had been more diligent, which would have been easier with the help of his computer. While Simon scrambled to meet the demands of the neighborhood bully, thankful at least for the extra month given to him by the kind judge, the bill for his car being stored on the lot of the impound was $1,300.

He was given 10 days from that date to come up with it, or he was to kiss his car goodbye. As a "favor" from the officer who supervises this particular wing of the brute squad, he was able to have his computer back...for a small fee of $115.

Not too surprisingly, old Simon simply couldn't muster one final surge to rescue his beloved car, whom he had silently promised that he would (a silly gesture that strangely meant something to our hero.). The joke was on him, though. He paid his fines as promised, but he was never really going to see his car again. It's the dirtiest trick in the book.

Epilogue

Simon has since made no effort to recover from the losses in the way that you would expect. He has no car, and no plans to own one. He has no job, so he does not pay milk money to the bully. He lives by exploiting loopholes in the system, like making fraudulent claims for government services.

Although he only amasses enough to get by in life, he is aware that his behavior is frowned upon by true patriots, who feel he is ripping off the country and stealing the "taxpayers money," a nice catch-phrase instituted by the institution to make you feel as though you taxes are some kind of noble contribution that is carefully counted and every dollar goes to your child's school.

Simon knows, of course, that he plays as vital a role in the system as any Joe Public and is content to know that he can help employ even one person in the fraud department of the particular entity he "supports." He realizes that, because of him and those like him, government agencies are validated and able to be funded, and funding makes everyone happy. So, much like the Colombian drug syndicates, he is a friend to the country.

Simon understands that his fellow citizens are brainwashed.

He enjoys things that not controlled by any agency and cost nothing but his unconditional love and his total acceptance of life, two things he has plenty of and can never be taken from him. He enjoys those qualities in things so much more than a big price tag. Simon lives life as if he is the richest man on Earth, which he literally would have been in the year 1AD. What's the difference?

Simon would also like you to know that he is thinking about you, and he feels your pain. He said everything will be just fine.

We are living in the most extraordinary time ever in the history of civilization, an unprecedented age of unbridled wisdom and a era of quasi-omniscience! Tell the government to go to hell with their paltry education, based on the superficial knowledge of last century, catechized by yesterday's scholars, using archaic methods.

I went back to school a year ago, and I knew more than the bozo professors. I know people with masters degrees that know as much about their major as I could learn in a one hour google-fest.

Screw their piece of paper that costs a small fortune but isn't be worth the ink, especially during this bogus recession, and spruces up your "home office" at best, while you deliver pizzas five nights a week.

***BTW, explain the recession to me, please. Explain how we have no money all of a sudden, now that we owe trillions, as opposed to when we owed billions. Anyway....

You wanna make it? Teach yourself!! Get off of facebook and get on some forums. Learn what it is before you make your move!

I see our PATHETIC test scores, and I should be ecstatic because that's what I'm saying, EF school! But, if that was the case, we'd be ignoring school completely, not showing up and failing! lol My little encore at SUNY gave me a glimpse into today's youth. I just don't understand how someone that has the answer to any question you will ever be expected to answer in a farcically frivolous college course, taught by some petty bozo whose expertise on the particular subject extends no further than the textbook, fails.

(No offense Aunt Jane. You did your time, and you were a beacon for two generations of our youth during the dark ages of the 1900's. I am very proud of you; however, like the chariot designers of ancient Rome, the occupation has lost its necessity. Now, we are all teachers and students.)

Honestly, if I had a question about anything within the scope of the class (which is already limiting, right there!), why would I wait after class for the other fools that have to speak with the professor, knowing he really doesn't even want to be bothered, to ask him something that he may or may not know when I could ask the question to Professor Google and get an answer from every person in this hemisphere who ever decided to give one. It's silly that we continue to channel our wisdom, as well as our merit, our worth, our standing in society, the ranking we use to measure the type of person we are and will become, the importance we may have within our chosen field and, of course, how much money we will earn, all through Joe Blow the professor, who has taught the same melarky for fifteen years and just doesn't like your face so he drops a C on you, or perhaps his wife didn't enjoy the paper you wrote. Bwahh!!! Hogwash!

To hell with school -- 2nd verse

Learn from google, from the web of wisdom, the entanglement of education, the interlacing of ideas, the mental meshwork, and leave the imbroglio of ignorance in the past, along with this organized crime syndicate known as the department of education that steadily feasts on our nation's budget, collecting a larger percentage the worse it performs, and the national thievery that we call college, which sells us our own personal ignorance for the low price of about our entire life savings! They are nice enough to set us up with a loan shark that will front the cash for around 25 points, secured by your future income, assets, ...and credit score, also known as your worth as a human being, which governs your ability to "have" things and helps ensure a favorable assessment of your character in the minds of those chosen to help you.

My little nephew (in law) was upset the other day because he couldn't figure out some assignment and he was mad he wouldn't be able to get into Harvard. (yeah, I know...)
Now, I never get involved with anyone raising their kids, and traditionally that is the right attitude for an eleven year old to have, but to me it's sad.

I wanted to tell him to crumble up that bullshit assignment and watch the football game, first of all (this was during the Jets game, no less!!) Then tell your teacher, in a calm and polite manner, "Mr. Tenure, listen, I have no desire to remain at the snail's pace which you teach the rest of the fools in seventh grade, nor am I interested in the majority of this flaccid curriculum, defined by underpaid bureaucrats, developed to stimulate, but not overwhelm, the dull-minded mean the is considered the average intelligence quotient in this mentally inferior country by the dim-wits that measure such things.
From here on out, I wish to study subjects that I deem necessary to fulfill the lifestyle I desire, one that will enrich my spirit as well as satisfy my basic needs.

Please respect my decision and kindly award me a very modest grade of 90%, only to satisfy my parents, both of whom are unfortunately so indoctrinated by the customs of yesteryear that they will never understand where I'm coming from, nor do I have the patience or desire to even attempt an explanation. I believe you will find that arrangement quite fair, considering the alternative, which would involve detailed allegations that some may find offensive, if you know what I'm saying."

Then I would tell him to find something he really loved and wanted to do in life and google it, read about it, study it, talk about it, practice it, get involved in it, learn the ropes, learn the lingo, talk the talk, walk the walk, live it, love it, she's just a woman....all of that...

School is for do do heads! I can't wait to have kids!

Of course, that is not to mention the strain on the parents, like that single mom who is just overcoming the fact that her childhood was cut short by pregnancy and has a first-rate education from the school of hard knocks, which finally rewarded her with the right to call herself a responsible adult and mother. Now, the poor thing has to stress over the fact that she's about $80,000 short of providing her child with the opportunity to have a better life than she did.

You wonder what motivates some women to prostitute or strip or sell drugs? The love of your children, for one. That's not a stretch, either. That's perfectly accurate.

Religion To Identify

As human beings, it is in our nature to form relationships. We do this so that we can identify ourselves; we all want to “be somebody.” As we grow up, we are subjected to all types of people, groups, styles, cliques, political parties...etc. We are conditioned to believe certain things about each, and we decide exactly how we want to portray ourselves. Basically, we are all just playing a role. Then our lives are spent trying to uphold that image of ourselves, as we are cast in the play of life, according to the script. If you think about that, it’s exactly correct.

Religion is just another form of identification, another character trait. This one, in particular, displays morals. Being a member of a church says, “I am a good person, or at least I’m trying to be; you could tell by the fish symbol on my car or the cross around my neck.” or “If I was a bad person, would I be walking to Temple wearing a small hat.” (If this type of rhetoric is offensive to you then I’m sure I will be adequately punished by your loving God.....unless of course, my God has a say in the matter.)

This is not a conscious decision, necessarily, unless you are purposely trying to cover a certain lifestyle or purifying your image in the eyes of, say, a judge or a parole board or a possible mother-in-law. Most church-goers attend mass in accordance with who they think they are or want to be. The antithesis, I suppose, would be joining a biker gang. (Please don’t tell me you could be in a biker gang and go to church, too.) I caught a glimpse of how this took place with Christianity, as it became an organization known as the Catholic Church, when I first began to attend a Buddhist Zendo in West Palm Beach, Fl.

The congregation, when at full strength, consisted of only about 20 people, with a “pastor” and a handful of devotees. The practice of sitting in meditation is called Zazen, which is much different from the political rallies known as “mass” in the Western world. It took place inside a church of some Christian denomination, who compassionately leased the space to these poor souls, who would obviously never reach eternal happiness by worshiping a Chinese god (which is not at all what was happening). Besides the obvious violation of their number one rule, clearly set aside for the parishioners and not the governing body, whose duty it is to maximize profits, the arrangement is a no-brainer.

Actually, small Buddhist gatherings like this take place all over the country in rented areas that provide adequate cover. They are simply a group of aspirants who are looking for the salvation and truth that they aren’t receiving from their religions, which are all based on the same “rules” and all insist that their God is more loving and more peaceful than the next, while they murder each other to prove it.

(Looking for alternatives, Islam has positioned itself as an evil religion in the eye of the West, although it is about politics, not God. Islam is a perfect identity for those who oppose, or feel slighted by, the US, such as African Americans, but it is only a different spin on the exact same story.)

It wasn’t until the latter part of the twentieth century, when a guy name Shunryu Suzuki-Roshi brought Zen Buddhism across the Pacific to the United States. When Suzuki arrived in San Francisco in the 60’s, there was only one place where Zen Buddhism was practiced, an old Jewish Synagogue, no doubt allotted them through some financial arrangement.

He started igniting much interest throughout the beatnik community, especially after being mentioned in Alan Watts’ writings. It spread quickly, considering Suzuki’s fear that the mind-set in the West is not prepared to receive it. Although I have no doubt as to the validity of the teachings, I must believe that the majority of these new, hippie-Buddhists saw this as yet another identity for those who opposed government views.

(I’ve outlined the allure of Buddhist teachings, which seem to trim the fat and leave out the stories that have been manipulated over the centuries. It was this idea of God as a principle, a source of life and true love, and the essence of everything that attracted me to the teaching, but I made the same fundamental mistake of identifying myself with it. When asked my religious affiliation, I would proudly answer, “Buddhism,” as if I had found something they had not. That is the ego.)

Now, I’ve described the lure of this practice many times before; it is certainly a less mysterious and less confusing path to eternal life, for those who are serious about finding it, but then again, so were the teachings of Christ compared to the Old Testament, as we see by Jesus’ consolidation of ten laws into only two. Of course, once removed from those who were truly touched by Him, Christianity became only something to identify with. People began to declare proudly that they were Christian. There’s the ego again. So, I guess I’m comparing the emergence of Zen Buddhism in California to that of Christianity in first century Jerusalem. ( I won’t go as far as saying that Suzuki is Jesus Christ, although it would fit the analogy. Both brought a new way to connect with God to a region that had been previously misguided, coincidentally by the same book.)

It should be obvious by now exactly how Zen Buddhism became popular in the U.S. It came at a time when Americans were actively looking for anything to identify with that was anti-establishment, or just plain different. They needed God, as we all do, but to succumb to religion of the evil empire, which was causing massive bloodshed for apparently no reason, was unacceptable. Remember, this is also the time when Scientology was popular, a radical religious cult among the Hollywood personnel, so it’s no surprise that Buddhism, endorsed by the most influential beatnik writers, would catch on.

I’m afraid Suzuki’s fears may have been warranted. I think perhaps Americans, and most people in the First-World today, have been far too hypnotized by their egos to truly accept Buddhism as a whole. Of course, I am not suggesting that those who have picked up where Suzuki left off and who write, teach, and practice zazen in the U.S., as taught by Buddhist monks in the East, are frauds. In fact, I know this isn’t true. It is the idea of Buddhism as a religion that I’m skeptical of. Buddha’s instructions are simply philosophical principles, called “metaphysics,” which morphed into the term “science” when testing methods became stronger and more verifiable, around the 17th century with our pals, Newton and Galileo. A religion is just a group, with which one could identify--another group.

I’ve seen it. After about 3 months of my own zazen practice, which basically consists of sitting meditation, some walking meditation, and chants, I started to become recognizable to the rest. It was a very nice connection, by the way. There isn’t much chatter within these congregations; nobody is adamant about telling you who they are or what they do or why. Nobody asks either. The alliance is formed in silence, so much so that it was almost surreal to go out into the everyday world with them, as if that Orthodox (or whatever) church that was paying dividends to the landlord on the religions off-time was a porthole to ancient China.

That’s how I felt when they asked me to follow everyone to the bagel shop up the road for some light breakfast and small talk.

Back to the practice, quickly, because I was new to the whole thing, I had great difficulty quieting my mind and inviting myself into a meditative state. I was understanding the principles and experiencing some decent moments of insight, but to stop the incessant complaining, worrying, planning, calculating, and daydreaming will all but impossible. I was fixated in the past or the future and could not stay in the present, and even though I understood when they said things like: “observe yourself...,” when your mind won’t shut up, that all sounds like rhetoric. Still, it was therapeutic; it was necessary. Of course, though, in my mind I was the only one, out of the six who came to sit that day, who couldn’t achieve a complete state of oneness with the Divine. (Yeah, right.)

Because it was such a small group, including the Master (the main guy who had the key to the place), I was attending this breakfast with the inner circle of the Zendo. Besides the Master, Doshin, there were his number one and two, both women, a couple of zendo regulars, one of whom was writing a book and who taught me to sit with the correct posture and some new chick. I had never seen her before, but apparently she knew everyone well. By the time we got to the bagel place, I realized that it was her cell phone that had gone off repeatedly during the half-hour of silent Zazen. She must have forgotten to shut it off.

Listen, she was a nice enough lady for sure. It’s just how quickly it dawned on me that we weren’t going to have a deep discussion about a chapter in Suzuki’s book at a table for six at Joe’s Bagels. (Suzuki is revered for bringing Buddhism to the West) These were very much normal people and more so, normal Americans. They spoke of their small congregation and the plans they had in store for it. I detected nothing but sincerity, but I could see that the new girl was not “into it.” She was anxious, often going outside to use the phone. She claimed she was in a rush and was constantly checking her watch.

I don’t want to sound self-righteous. I wasn’t expecting her to be some sort of sage, but she was ordained as a priest! I know this because she flaunted it proudly, as if her team won the trophy in the bowling league. Let me put it this way, she spoke about Buddhism like it was a social club, gossiping about the members of her “new” congregation, where it was obvious that she was involved in the politics...you see? Politics, again. Add to this, the classy business suit, her rudeness to the waiter, and her overall persona which screamed out, “I’m avant garde from New York City, and I’m very worldly. In fact, I’m an ordained Buddhist!”and I saw a socialite who caught on to something with which to identify.

Now, this woman isn’t hurting anybody, and like I said, she is a nice person all in all. It just shows how the Divine principle becomes a group, and lost souls (all of us) long to identify with groups. They are attracted to it; they want to express themselves in it; government loves to “gather” constituents, and there you have a religion. Only God isn’t involved anymore.

Plume Discusses Zeitgeist (part one)

After sharing his piece on religion and government being one in the same, a friend of The Professor, Craig Blake, furthered the opinion by sharing a link to a film, or actually a series of short documentaries, by director, Peter Joseph, one that unfortunately lacked the mass appeal of more important displays of the latter decade, such as Avatar. Here is the movie description as seen online:

Zeitgeist is a documentary about a) the origin of christian faith b) how American banks have seized world power at the beginning of the 20th century c) how these 2 items are related to the wars fought in the 20th and 21st century.

As we said, there is now a series of updates and addenda which include the economy, 9-11, and others. They can be found on youtube.com or somewhere like it on this glorious and ubiquitous home-base called the Internet, our new Zion. They are truly mandatory viewing, and following up with the premise are other works entirely, such as Loose Change and The Obama Deception, also easily found on YouTube.
Unlike some politically motivated presentations in the past, which simply demonized the administration of George W. Bush, this new wave of information sheds a light on the entire government and religious institutions.

(This new "fad" is simply the opening acts to the movement the professor has been suggesting, or at least, it is a display of the power afforded the people by the information super-highway, the Internet, the monster that can not be controlled by the powers that be.)

Starting from around 300 AD, when our friend Emperor Constantine made Christianity the law of the Roman empire, Joseph's views are identical to the Professor. So, it is agreed that the bible was devised by the Roman leaders, based on the writings of political radical, Paul of Tarus, or St. Paul, mixed with pagan beliefs and hand crafted for the purpose of governing, not saving the eternal soul of its citizens.

However, the movie goes on to actually deny the existence of Jesus Christ altogether, claiming that he was nothing more than a pagan story, based on a long line of characters found throughout Egyptian, Greek, and other ancient civilizations, who supposedly represented the Sun. The argument is very well presented, based on the writings of an author named Acharia S, who has written books about the topic, and artfully entertaining. Unfortunately, according to Plume, this thirty minute segment, entitled The Greatest Story Ever Told, may have made a mistake.

"The religious portion of the film was certainly interesting and entertaining. However, I tend to disagree and believe that Jesus was indeed an enlightened individual, not unlike the Buddha or Aristotle, a man whose sole purpose was to teach and to guide, as others throughout history who have shared the Divine knowledge with us. I come to this conclusion simply because of the truth in his teachings. This is the reason why I say to Christians that following Christ can, indeed, be your salvation. It is the church you should be wary of," Plume said.

He continued, "Of course, no man on this Earth, in his present state of consciousness, can know for certain what happened and who existed over two thousand years ago. Therefore, it is all pure speculation.

"It is my understanding that Zeitgeist was originally intended as an video art display at an exhibit in New York City, and for that purpose, the sky's the limit; in that context, I applaud the show. But, since it is now being used, as it should, to bring a much needed awareness to the people and actually promote a utopian concept called The Venus Project, I feel that perhaps it should have been amended. It's not that the information wasn't valid; I just don't feel that the actual life of Jesus or even his existence is relevant to the ultimate goal.

"It seems irrelevant whether Jesus Christ walked the Earth performing miracles, or if St. Paul was even accurate in his depiction of him, twenty years after the fact. What is truly noteworthy is the fact that some three hundred years later, the story of his life, along with the laws of God, as presented by Moses in Israel and topped off with their own pagan beliefs (most likely those cited in the film, do you see how it all comes together?), became the Romans imperial law. Then, once merged with government, the Holy Bible, as it was called, never looked back and became the official way to control the masses, turning into the Roman Catholic church.

"However, once you denounce the Christians' Messiah, you alienate millions of Americans, thus invalidating the rest of the film. From this standpoint, if I were pulling the strings, I would probably just eliminate that segment from public viewing outside of an art project. It's just unnecessary.

"With that said, the film is eye-opening and should be the start, not the end, of an all out investigation headed up by the only person each individual on this planet can trust----- themselves."

The movies, at least the addendum, promotes The Venus Project. This is supposedly our Heaven on Earth, not a monetary system, but a system based on resources. We have the resources to sustain everyone on the planet forever. We have energy in the form of solar, tidal, wave, and wind, as well as geo-thermal, and we may find more. Between those mentioned, we can energize the planet forever.

Instead, we use fossil fuels, and would you just look at what that has gotten us. According to the social engineers at TVP, we use airplanes that clog up the atmosphere and can be used to destroy buildings, when they have technology called Mag-Lev trains, which use magnets to propel a shuttle through a tube that runs under water or land and never wears down. It can get to L.A. from here (N.Y.) in a half an hour”

Plume also comments on the film's exposing of the Federal Reserve, as the centralized bank, which lend us money with interest that is paid directly with an unconstitutional income tax, “It’s unbelievable what has been perpetrated against us. Anyone who has ever felt that pain, that resistance to do what everyone relentlessly told you was ‘the way it is’ and that you had to just suck it up, struggle, save, work your ass off doing NOTHING that allows you to grow as a person.

They are stealing our lives! I, for one, will detach myself from the government in every way, stripping down to the bare necessities and entertaining myself with knowledge. Learning is free, and it is my favorite thing to do. It is power. Mixed with our weapon, the Internet, it can be spread at the speed of light. The Sarcastic Order of Metaphysical Monks, under myself and Yo Dali Mama, are in full support of Peter Joseph and others like him, such as Alex Jones, Zeitgeist, Loose Change, and The Venus Project. I almost see, now, the projections of the world’s end, which always seem to be in the beginning of this century. It is usually based on the fact that things are so bad. I say things are beginning to blossom.”

Professor Plume has been acting even stranger than normal; although in his defense, he truly seems to believe something special is on the horizon, and his eyes are fixed up and outward, as they say Alexander’s were. Not that we are suggesting anything here at the Sarcastic Temple. Haha.

Bravo, Mr. Joseph. Bravo. This is just great work and a true display of our power, power that we don’t realize we have or need yet but will soon be proven vital in our fight for freedom, not the freedom they told us we won in 1776, thanks to good old George Washington, but true freedom. To be able to share this knowledge, as Mr. Blake did for me and the others who are in our social knit is critical. Knowledge is power, but without communication, it can never be properly utilized.

Enhanced lines of communication won the war for Lincoln and helped free a great many. I applaud Mr. Joseph for this excellent film, and I salute the beautiful Anarchy of the Internet.

Let’s summarize the movie parts for those who haven’t spent the two-plus hours....yet, and I implore you to take some time out of your “busy” lives to give it due:

Religion

It starts off with religion as I mentioned, and it is exactly what we talk about here, post-Constantine. Remembering what I said earlier, let's take it as an artful display for those with a truly open-mind and ownership of his/her own soul.

The film makes some interesting suppositions regarding Jesus Christ, such as illustrating the similarities between many pagan Sun-gods, or Sons of God, including 12 apostles, miracles and death and resurrection. The research is wonderful and it checks out, in some places. Of course, that type of information is always scattered.

Mind you, no single man on this planet in this present state of consciousness could possibly know the exact truth about the very particulars of who, what, when. where, or how, but they build a great argument. They come to the same exact conclusion as we do here: religion and government are one in the same. It is a matter of making rules and enforcing them with divine backing.

That final point, which is perfectly consistent, is all that matters. Although the pagan parallels were interesting and believable, as I said, completely debunking the story of Jesus is simply too much for the fanatics to handle. I mean, come on, these are the same people that believe dinosaurs roamed, at our side, 4000 years ago!

I feel it is safer to leave it open. Jesus’ words ring true with timeless wisdom, whether borrowed from the Kaballah or taught by a man named Jesus at the Sea of Galilee. He can be your “way,” not your governor. That is NOT his mission.

When you call it a flat out lie and tell Christians that Christ was a recycled pagan god, they shut it off right there. They drop all semblance of rational thought and put up an involuntary shield. Think about it. You are essentially telling them that everything they stand for is a lie, and that may not be exactly correct, nor is it the most important fact. What I mean is, "stroke them."

1. Horus was not born of a Virgin--that's a lie.
2. Horus was not baptized. That's a complete fabrication. "Anup the Baptizer"?--show me where you find that! That's a lie.
3. Horus never walked on water. He performed miracles, but raising the dead and walking on water were not among them. Nor did he cast out demons.
4. Horus had disciples--but you can't show me a single reference to his having twelve. That's a lie.
5. Horus never taught in the temple at age 12. That's a lie. Read the accounts above--it's not there.
6. Where was ever said that was Horus crucified? That's a lie! He died in a later version of the story and was brought back to life--but Jesus' "resurrection" was more than a mere coming back to life. His body was transformed and changed. Anyways, it was only later added to the Horus legend...

PLUME’S RESPONSE To THE CHRISTIAN

Can you not see the narrow-mindedness of your arguments? Who cares what miracles each one performed performed or how many apostles they travelled with or who was baptized? That has nothing to do with the point. The simple fact is that science, which was born of metaphysics, the philosophy of life and God, as studied by Aristotle, St. Augustine of Hippo, St. Thomas Aquinas and many, many others, disproves everything in the Bible as untrue, as does archaeology, geology, biology, zoology, meteorology, surrounding historical data, common sense, and the very nature of God. It is completely unsubstantiated.

The retorts from the church that I've heard in regard to matters such as dinosaurs or the parting of the Red Sea are ludicrous. They are pointing to vague descriptions of some lizard to be translated as proof that dinosaurs roamed the Earth, 65 million years after every respectable researcher ever to find a fossil suggests they did, and chariot wheels at the bottom the Sea, relatively close to shore, to have verified that tall tale of Moses leading a mass exodus of Jews out of Egypt, something that missed the Egyptian record books.

And, we are to believe that men of that age lived to upward of 900 years of age. Why then is life expectancy at 70 and RISING? Did we flip the odometer?

And you speak of an attempt by Muslims to discredit Christianity, yet they are the same exact religion, both stemming from Judaism! They have the same exact story, same exact concept, and same bibles, minus some additions and corrections, of course. Each religion has even been sub-divided, mainly over bull-crap facts like which son of Abraham did God gave land to. My God would have cleared that up before 3,000 years of bloodshed took place over it.

Moses, who was most likely an Egyptian Pharoah, but was certainly a political figure in ancient Egypt broke off to begin a nation called Israel. He had to make rules built around One God. the reason I say he was the Pharoah, Amenhotep, is because he was known to have supported the God of Aten, one God, the Sun, instead of many gods. See, one God gives you more authority. One king, one God, get it?

So, Moses was pretty successful with that nation, I'd say. Sure, they were conquered by many empires over the next century, but they kept their sovereignty in tact for the most part. They were run by a political/religious group called the Pharisees (and a couple of others, like the Sadducees)

Then, under the Roman Empire, a Jewish Pharisee named St. Paul, who was a known radical and actually spent his last days in jail, began a new upstart political party, Christianity.

Now look, I believe Jesus Christ may have been a truly enlightened individual, even the son of God, as we all are! I say that because his words ring true with the timeless knowledge. It is the same that was known to the Ancient Egyptians, helping them to ascend to higher consciousness and build great pyramids, and to Abraham, the Kaballah, and for that matter, was acheived by Siddharta the Buddha and Lao Tse in the East.

The other thought would be that religion in itself, such as the Ancient Egyptian awareness of spirit and, hence, their amazing understanding of the universe, is born of that same timeless knowledge and the stories are just that...stories. This is where I see your "obvious" discrepancies as petty and pointless. They are stories, and they were hijacked and used to rule and govern. Principles became rules that were justly punishable, even by death, even by war.

So, Paul riled up a new political movement, the Christians, who were persecuted at first until they began to pick up steam and were eventually adopted as the political party/religion of the ruling Emperor, Constantine. Religion, namely Christianity, had made it to the BIG stage, The Roman Empire. Constantine then re-wrote the "Bible" to be a Roman constitution, using their pagan traditions and stories to give it some flair. See, finding the Truth is not that theatrical.

Where do you think Christmas comes from, with Santa Clause and evergreen trees? What about the Easter bunny? They are pagan rituals that were thrown in by the great emperor and those who followed, and they stuck.

The same thing happened when Muhammad altered the Old Testament to form a religion for the tribes of Mecca and Medina to unite under and, thus, to rule them with. It eventually spun that into the Rashiduns, a group that grew to eventually take out the Persian and the Byzantine Empires and came to be know as the Ottoman Empire, now a bunch of people who found oil and opium, are being exploited by our crooked government, and who worship the SAME GOD CHRISTIANS DO.

Listen, there is nothing wrong with uniting again with our Divine source, listen to the words of Jesus and follow them, but nowhere in them do I hear of war or political parties or rules. The commandments are not rules; they are guidelines. Jesus said there were only two, love God and your neighbor. So, tell me; if you did that why would you need to be told not to steal or kill??

Religion divides us, just the way you are so afraid to be associated with a pagan. Do you really believe that EVERYONE who was on this planet before Jesus was born went to Hell? Is that a viewpoint expressed of love? How could it be? How egotistical are we to believe that?

Ancient wisdom remains completely consistent, regardless of the names or the stories, and the so called “rules” are nothing more than resistance to the very nature produced by religion and government, which are one in the same. Do you see that?

Human Beings are not thieves by nature, nor are they murderers. Evil is not inherent in us; it is learned. It is based on fear of not having enough. We all have enough!! It is money that causes evil, which is government and, as you know, is religion too.

We have the resources available to eliminate our fear of loss, which is created by the illusion of scarcity put forth by our government, one that starts and stops the flow of currency and oil and raises the price of goods and keeps us chasing that dollar to the point of barely surviving. That is why we steal and COVET! We need no more currency.

No more government, being allowed to control the rate of progression in our technology. That is what we, as human beings do! We create and build; we progress. We do not use our minds to create an advertising campaign or count money or sell stocks! We are here to grow as a people.

Unfortunately, as long as we are kept divided by religion and government and we say things like, "..those Muslims over there say this and that," without realizing that we are all just Human Beings, we are doomed. And that, my friend, is Hell. As a matter of fact, I would say we are there now!

I was baptized and raised Roman Catholic. I was an Altar Boy and everything. I know the Bible pretty well. Never is Christ self-righteous and yet all Christians seem to be. Christ was not involved in Politics. He was not into damning people to hell. When he speaks of eternal suffering have you ever thought he may have meant inner suffering, such as worry, fear, anxiety, grief, regret? Or evil such as war, murder, theft, adultery...?

If we don't wake up we will just continue to be nothing but cattle. This is what Zeitgeist is!! Embrace it! Stop your petty debates over how many damn disciples some god had compared to Jesus. That is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!

What About The Mind?

Human beings love to take care of their bodies, at least they love the idea of it. (Of course, even physical improvement is expected to come in eight minutes these days.) We diet, exercise, tan, style our hair, get manicures, pedicures, even surgery. We try not to smoke or eat red meat or drink caffeine. And there’s nothing wrong with wanting to be healthy. It’s just peculiar that we spend so much time developing something that we know is going to deteriorate, yet we do nothing to cultivate our mind.

(I didn’t use the word “eternal” to describe the mind because the churchs’ stances are always changing, but I assume one would need a mind to experience the fires of hell or the pleasures of heaven. Then again, that’s just more science hocus-pocus, something about brain sensors and feeling. Really though, do we not identify ourselves by our thoughts? So, why would you care about hell if it wasn’t even YOU that was there!?)

Going back to our obsession with the physical being, think about why that is. Could that be the fear of loss we talk about? the fear of death? Why do we lift weights to build muscles on this body that we are only borrowing for what amounts to be a blink of His eye, but we refuse to give our mind a second to grow? I may be off here, but isn’t that something like polishing your rented shoes every five minutes at the bowling ally and then walking home barefoot through mud? No?

We loved the mind as a small child. We longed to learn everything (before the “age of reasoning,” which is Eve and the apple, which is a point of mental evolution...are you getting that, yet?). At that time, we turned our back on the mental forever. We loved gym class, hated math. We wanted to play, not do homework. If a teacher challenged our brain, we resisted; we panicked. Even those that forced their way through college, did just that..forced it, half the time spacing out or complaining about doing it.

On the other hand, physical fitness is at the top of the list for most college students. They love their bodies. Although it’s not their bodies they love, it’s looking good in order to portray an image, not only to help form relationships, but to form a relationship with. If we truly loved our body, we would see its obvious connection to our mind,...and our mind’s connection to our soul.

It isn’t until we start to see the inevitable decay creep in and begin thinking about death that we concern ourselves with preserving the body, by eating right and visiting the doctor frequently. I see older adults scramble to preserve their finite shell, against nature and despite years of self-abuse, knowing that it will soon be gone, leaving behind only the part of them which hasn’t even been touched! (Because those who haven’t saturated their soul in bogus religions or squandered it chasing earthly ambitions, die without even taking it out of the box. That’s a shame.)

How embarrassing will it be to stand before God, in his long white robe and glowing lantern, and have to report that you have learned nothing in your 75 years on Earth, besides how to cook everything on the Denny’s menu or sell life insurance or how to get even with someone or how to pick up women? How embarrassing, indeed.

And will it hurt God’s feelings to discover that you were more anxious without a connection to Facebook than being cut off from Him? Or that you spent more time and effort improving the performance of your Honda then enhancing the Divine vehicle that He gave you for your journey back to him?

Our mind is the point where our soul meets this life and where life is then interpreted to us. In other words, the mind is our translator and our tour guide, as we move through the physical realm. It learns through memory, and it is actually pretty effective when it comes to solving problems, as you see with the development of math and science.

The problem is that 95% of the time, when we aren’t using it to learn important things, like not to touch a hot stove, the mind is ignored, left unattended, locked in a room, and made to watch the same DVD’s over and over (such as the ‘Who I Am’ and ‘Who I Want To Be’ sagas). A lifetime of suppressing its natural thirst for knowledge, collectively for eons, has left the human mind frustrated, starved, ill, deformed, and most importantly, afraid and manic.

While the body shows signs of need, like a growling stomach or a long yawn, and even cars display lights and sounds when it’s time for maintenance, the mind does nothing. It simply conforms and occupies itself with automatic tasks, namely worry, fear, anxiety, and the rest of that gang.

You could say that the “Devil” takes over. An idle mind is the Devil’s play thing, or something like that. Your mind takes on a mind of its own. Be serious; can you honestly say that you have control over your mind? And yet, we try to control our body without it. Has science not proven a connection between mind and body?

Instead of wasting mental energy on the past or the future, leaving it on ‘auto’ to create bogus emotions that engulf you, then formulating ways to either alleviate or enhance those emotions, why not commandeer it for its intended purpose, to grow closer to the Divine?

As adults, we are out of shape mentally. We need to train, and that doesn’t mean watching the Discovery Channel or doing a crossword puzzle, not even suffering through college courses, even if you are enthusiastic about it. I’m saying study yourself, by yourself. Observe why you do certain things or think a certain way.

It is all about mental observation, and that means emotions too. Once you expose the unattended mind as a fraud, you can gain control of it again. Instead of becoming captivated by your thoughts and feelings and allowing your undisciplined mind to run rough shot, like a bull in the old china shop, dragging you along with it, just WATCH the bull. DON’T try to lasso it, just watch it. Let it buck and kick you around, while you just watch.

I understand that it is against everything we know to not resist, but remember, Jesus did say to turn the other cheek. Simply being aware of your mind, watching it operate on you, and eavesdropping on your own mental chatter, which goes on constantly, is the only text book you will need. I know how crazy that sounds; I really do. Because you see no results in your future, that is, you don’t know what to expect. It is the fabled leap of faith.

A good comparison would be those novelty wall pictures that showed up in shopping malls years ago, where you are supposed to stand about 3 feet away and stare at it until the confusing series of tiny dots changes into a cool 3-D image. They are very frustrating in the beginning. Some people still can’t get it; some catch a glimpse here and there, and others, who have worked at it and, more importantly, were open to the experience, just see it.

An even better parallel would be anything that you devotedly wanted to learn, which may have seemed too elaborate to grasp in the beginning, but ultimately became second nature, or even first. This was my experience when I studied Audio Engineering, 15 years ago. I would cram my brain everyday, but the confusion was overwhelming. Then one day, everything became so clear, first basic electricity, signal flow, and sound, then different equipment and techniques.

Surely, I’m not the only one who has experienced that type of sudden illumination while studying. It‘s born out of persistence, which comes from truly wanting to know something. Now, how could you not want to know everything about this magnificent gift, given to you by the Divine God (the top-tier name brand)?

Imagine receiving a futuristic computer or game system (or a car, anything), whose technology was centuries advanced, as a gift today and deciding it was just too complicated to bother with, despite the outrageous claims made about the product, its glowing testimonials, and free tutoring offered by the manufacturer. Would you be satisfied using it as a paper-weight? I suppose those who spend hours on their computer playing solitaire would be just fine with it.

Human beings, with our home theaters and beefed-up car stereos, walk around sporting a stock brain with only the factory pre-sets and their foreheads flashing "12:00 am." And God shakes his head.

Plume has mentioned, at some point, the fact that, by Egyptian accounts, there is no mention of this "Israelite" who brought plagues to the Pharoah, in order to lead the Jews out of Egypt and, ultimately, drown the Egyptian army in the Red Sea. Granted, there was no Daily newspaper, but for ancient people who wrote on rocks, the Egyptians were quite meticulous when it came to recording their history. You would think that such an event would have gotten 9/11 type coverage.

"That was just one of those facts that I had heard forever," he said. "But now that I've decided to smash these heretics known as religious organizations, I came across an account that does make some sense, and actually, fits right in to my explanation of mankind, something that hardly surprises me."

I don't think we have to review the story, but very quickly: Years after Joseph (and his techni-color dreamcoat) won the hearts of Egypt (as he did years later on Broadway), the Pharoah of Egypt turned on the Jews, enslaving them and ordering that all newborns be killed. Moses was spared as a child, sent up a river, found by an Egyptian princess and allowed to "mingle" with Egyptian nobles. Keep in mind he is a JEW, not an Egyptian.

He then beat up an Egyptian for beating up a Jew (bible-ists point to that as definitive proof that he must have been an Israelite, and not an Egyptian), and out of fear, he runs away to herd sheep for 40 years (40 is a big number for him).

During that time, God speaks to him through a burning bush and commands him to go to the Pharoah and have the Jews released. When Pharoah doesn't comply, God sends the aforementioned plagues, including frogs and locusts, to Egypt and parts the Red Sea, just long enough for Moses to lead the Jews to their new land, and drowns the Egyptian army which was in pursuit.

Do we notice any similarities in these religious stories, whether it's Moses or St. Paul or Muhammad? It is always political. It always involves new land and a new government. Power and conversion are always at the forefront. It's always about separation and segregation. It is typical human greed and corruption. It is always about ego. These are the Devil's traits, clearly illustrated by the Judeo-Christian-Islamo God, over and over again.

So, Moses starts trouble with the Pharoah, and he heads up a new nation, under God, complete with, you guessed it,.....rules! (The bible talks of a puppet King, named Saul, being the first king of Israel. However, SOME Hebrew, and other, scholars believe Moses and Saul are one in the same. Either way, it fits.)

Take a look at how the Greeks viewed Moses. Does he sound like a dull-witted shepard or an organized politician?

The earliest existing reference to Moses in Greek literature occurs in the Egyptian history of Hecataeus of Abdera (4th century BC). All that remains of his description of Moses are two references made by Diodorus Siculus, wherein, writes historian Arthur Droge, "he describes Moses as a wise and courageous leader who left Egypt and colonized Judaea." Among the many accomplishments described by Hecataeus, Moses had founded cities, established a temple and religious cult, and issued laws:

After the establishment of settled life in Egypt in early times, which took place, according to the mythical account, in the period of the gods and heroes, the first . . . to persuade the multitudes to use written laws was Mneves [Moses], a man not only great of soul but also in his life the most public-spirited of all lawgivers whose names are recorded.^:

Do you remember when we said that the Jews' nation of Israel was the first to use ONE God and reinforce their laws with His Divine authority? We said that it was a pretty good idea for a ruler looking to be a totalitarian monarch. It was a natural upgrade from the pagan Greeks and Egyptians, as the Romans almost 2,000 years later, when they adopted Christianity.

Well, class, I believe we may have found the man responsible for that innovation: an Egyptian, whose initial attempts were rejected by the pagans, but who, like any power hungry aspirant, persevered and eventually broke off to form his own nation, Israel. Thank you, Moses.

*(Again, some scholars say Moses was the first king, hence he WAS Saul. The bible's version displays Saul as a puppet who looks good for the role: He was "a head above any Israelite" (1 Samuel 9:2) Either way, does it not fit? The next King was a military commander, David, who incidentally, was a direct descendant of Abraham and chosen by God. Are you surprised by that, class?)

I came across this article, which suggests that Moses was indeed an Egyptian Pharoah. This is not the first time this theory has come up, but it makes all the sense in the world. Other versions call him a "nobleman."

The name Moses derives from the Egyptian word mose, meaning "offspring" or "heir", as in Tuthmose: "born of Thoth". In the book of Exodus, it is stated that Moses' life was under threat when the Pharoah decreed death to newborn Israelite males.The reason for this was that their were too many Israelites in Egypt and they were becoming too powerful. So it was pronounced that every son born should be cast into the river. An Israelite woman placed her son in a basket of rushes and set him among the water reeds. The Pharoah's daughter discovered the baby and rescued him, she paid a woman to nurse him and eventually adopted him. It was she who named him Moses. In the very next verse of the bible, Moses appears as a grown man.

Amenhotep III

Historical linguist, Ahmed Osman, has conducted an in-depth research into the identity of Moses using Egyptian records. He believes there was an influential Israelite named Yusef- Yuya (Joseph), who was chief minister to the Pharoahs Tuthmosis IV and his son Amenhotep III. When Tuthmosis died, Amenhotep married his younger sister, Sitamun, so he could inherit the throne. Shortly afterward, in order to have an adult wife, since Sitamun was only a child at this time, Amenhotep married Tiye, the daughter of Yusef- Yuya. It was decreed however, that no son born to Tiye could inherit the throne,there was a general fear that the Israelite relatives were gaining too much power in Egypt. So when Tiye was pregnant, certain palace officials thought that her child should be killed at birth if a son.

Akhenaten

Arrangements were made for Tiye's Israelite relatives to nurse the boy. Amenhotep (born 1394 BCE) was educated at Heliopolis by the Egyptian priests of Ra and spent his teenage years at Thebes. During this time his mother had become more influential than the senior queen Sitamun-who had only borne a daughter- Nefertiti. When Amenhotep III suffered ill health, young Amenhotep was brought to the fore. He married Nefertiti in order to reign as co -regent and when his father died he succeeded as Amenhotep IV.

Because of his part Israelite upbringing, Amenhotep IV couldn't accept the Egyptian dieties and developed the notion of Aten - an omnipotent god with no image, represented by a solar disk with downward rays. Amenhotep changed his name to Akhenaten (Glorious spirit of the Aten) and closed all the temples of the Egyptian Gods making himself very unpopular.There were plots against his life and threats of armed insurrection if he didn't allow traditional gods to be worshipped alongside the faceless Aten.

He was eventually forced to abdicate in favour of his cousin Smenkhkare. Akhenaten was banished from Egypt and fled to the land of Midian. Here, he took another wife, an Israelite named Zipporah. Nefertiti had died a short while before. He then made arrangements to return to Egypt to retrieve his supporters who believed he was the rightful heir, the royal"mose", as they had been placed in bondage under the new, harsh laws.

Moses is described in the Old Testament as being "an Egyptian" and "slow of speech" in the language of the Israelites. Ahmed Osman believes that Moses was in fact the Pharoah Akhenaten. Akhenaten introduced monotheism and closed the temples making himself extremely unpopular. He was later forced to abdicate and banished from Egypt. He returned to lead his supporters out of Egypt to a new life.

This makes so much sense. It also grants Moses his due as the most influential executive in history, whose vision was followed by men such as Paul of Tarus, Muhammad and Joseph Smith Jr.

Nobody will believe me when I say this, but there is no such thing as good and evil.Human beings supposedly have free-will, because we are “special.” And by special, we mean having ‘round the clock access to evil. The other, less fortunate animals know nothing about evil. They move through life with no regret, no fear of abandonment, no fear of death, no need for money, nice stuff, or relationships, because they are not as loved as we are. We are God’s children.

If that sounded sarcastic, it was. One more time, free-will is the product of our mental evolution. If you read any philosopher/physicist who ever spoke on this topic, you would see that it has to do with this directly, but for the time being, just think that our brain is evolved to a point where our memory is so enhanced that we can perceive time. A lower, less conscious species, like a beetle, has no idea what day it is or that it is going to die.

When we reached that point in the evolution of our mind, we began to feel fear as emotions, based on expectations and the fear of loss. That is where good and evil came in to play! What hurts me is bad; what brings pleasure is good. Love is good. Pain is bad. Pain is our perception of things, and we are trained to know what is good and bad. We KNOW for a fact that sex out of wedlock is bad, the same way we know that the sky is blue. We learned!

Animals don’t sin. They don’t commit murder, (although chimpanzees have been known to actually kill for no reason. They are at a pretty high level of consciousness, though. They may be just around the corner from us.) Animals only kill for survival. We kill for survival as well, and there is nothing “evil” about it, unless emotions get involved. A tiger does not feel regret for killing a hyena, and we are not opposed to killing cows, for example.

They also don’t steal from each other for the sake of having stuff. Animals don't become attached to things, like we do. They aren't possessive. Therefore, to steal, or "covet," is not something animals do. They have no need for relationships the way humans do, because they have no ego.The ego is always looking to things (and people) to define itself.

It is only when our expectations and social conditioning set in, that we start forming our opinions of good and evil. If it weren’t for greed and our need to identify ourselves, not one of those Ten Commandments would be necessary. In fact, the Buddhist "guidelines" and all other spiritual, metaphysical, philosophical, and scientific laws and theorems are in place to help us come to a realization that we don't need them.

The Ten Commandments do not lead us to salvation, they protect us from loss, while controlling the collective conscience of the masses. The Ten Commandments are saying, "Don't hurt me by doing this." The Buddhist Noble Truths, for example, are saying, "Do this and you can never be hurt." Which one sounds more like God? Which one sounds like an insecure, mortal politician?

Religion Is Government Is Religion

Ok, let’s see if you can stomach this, and before you write it off as some Internet nonsense, remember that I’m laying my eternal soul directly in harm’s way by even thinking this, much less writing about it. To help you clarify that, think about your fear of God and multiply it by a million. That’s what is ingrained in a Catholic school kid’s mind.

Now, this is a theory. Of course, I can’t be sure, the same way NOBODY can be sure, even “Hebrew scholars.” I’m just going by the facts, as collected by those who have dedicated their lives to finding artifacts and studying them using scientific methods. When you plug it in, though, I see no holes, which is WAY more than I could say about religion.

Stop me if I’m making too much sense.

We know civilization began in Mesopotamia, around the fertile crescent. From there it spread out concentrically through Eur-Asia, forming tribes that eventually led to "nations," like Israel; Egyptians, Persians, Greeks, and later Romans, formed empires that controlled large areas of land and ruled over many of the smaller nations. The Babylonian Empire was the first united rule of the land.

You may remember Hammurabi. He was the Babylonian King famous for his “eye for an eye” code. You see, he knew that he needed a set of strict rules to govern a large area. Hammurabi's Code is the rough draft for the Ten Commandments, only it was secular, so it lacked the "ultimate authority." Regardless of how strict or how mean, they were only enforced by men.

These early empires, more than usual, were plagued with revolt and assassinations. To combat this, they needed to grant their rulers that ultimate authority. The Persians, Egyptians, Assyrians, Greeks, and later Romans were all pagans, and so they often told of the rulers being the son of a god (and a mortal, of course. Except, there was nothing immaculate about those gods. The ancient Greeks loved sex. I'm not sure what happened with the Israelites). Regardless, that supreme power gave them a little punch.

*The Persians also became united under a dualistic religion, Zarathustra, which became the basis of Cyrus the Great's legendary rule, about 500 years later.

While the great empires clashed, the small tribes were constantly being attacked, so they united, using the "ultimate authority" government, and formed the nation of Israel. Israel was a country, a union of states, a completely theocratic government. They were a player in the game. Their king, personally appointed by the Lord, was David and, surprise, like every king throughout the ancient world, he is touched by God; David was a direct descendant of Abraham, who has a deed to the land signed by Yaweh (God).

(Incidentally, David is also the ancestor of Joseph, Jesus’ step-father, a thousand years later. ??)

So, at this point, after the early Babylonians and others learned that they must inject Divine power into their rulers, using collective fear to avoid being overthrown and to maintain order, we have the first empires of the world all ruled by people who claim to be connected, in some way, to God, or gods. So, is it any shock to you that this would be the case in Israel? (By the way, do you think fear is still used by government today?)

*King David is a descendant of Abraham, who made a pact with God, just like Zeus bore kings with mortal women throughout Ancient Greece and Jupiter in Rome. (THAT IS, BEFORE A ROMAN EMPEROR JOINED THE CHRISTIANITY PARTY, A POLITICAL SECT THAT WAS GAINING TRACTION, STARTED BY POLITICAL RADICAL, SAUL, WHO WAS FORMALLY WITH THE PARTY KNOWN AS THE PHARISEES.)
**I must say that Israel actually toned it down. Besides the Arc and the parting of the Red Sea, their stories aren’t near as elaborate as the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans.

For a thousand years, the kingdom of Israel played the nations' game, with their Bible-based government being run by scholars and aristocrats who formed political parties, like the Pharisees. They were constantly invaded and conquered by empires, from the Egyptians (who Moses dealt with) to the Romans (at Jesus' time). Keep in mind, being conquered means that they got to keep their government in tact, but the final rule (and the taxes) belongs to the empire.

The battle cry for the nation of Israel was the fact that the ONE and only “God” was on their side and that one day, he will deliver the land back to them. Every group, school, team, country needs to feel special and keep up morale. It's actually brilliant to say, "Yeah, they're big and bad, but we have God on our side. He parts the Red Sea for us. Wait and See. He's coming." I actually would expect nothing less from a smaller nation at that time in that place. It’s not unlike the Gods smiling on Greece or “God Bless America.” It not unlike what they do know.

Israel was a government, and the Ten Commandments was their constitution. They had three political parties, the Pharisees, which were the strongest, the Sadduces, elitists, and some other one, a third party who was sick of the first two. Typical government. At Jesus’ time, they were under Roman rule, still using the Commandments and the fear of God tactic. It had calmed down, though; there hadn’t even been a prophet for 500 years, since Ezekial. The political parties were mainly in control, Pharisees like Herod and...um...St. Paul the apostle.

Enter the Messiah. Now, this could go a few ways, but I think it’s irrelevant to the point.

The first theory would be that Jesus was a highly enlightened human being, and therefore, the son of God, as we all are (and this is the way I lean). He was not unlike the Buddha and many others. He chose to give everything up and just teach, as we see throughout the years is the only choice for an enlightened individual. People began to follow him, and if you believe, as I and all Buddhist monks do, that a higher level of consciousness allows for “miracles” of sort, then his stories may be valid. Of course they are embellished. I believe this theory because of the meaning in his words and alleged actions. I DO feel he may have touched enough people to keep his story alive.

However, if we don’t want to go that far, we can say that he was a radical or that he never even existed. At any rate, it fits. The New Testament often mentions beef between Jesus and the Pharisees, particularly around John the Baptist. Still, whether he was enlightened, a political hack, or a fabrication, the Pharisees didn’t like him and the Romans didn’t like problems, so they killed him. Whether he actually rose from the dead, his spirit spoke to someone, or that part was thrown in after the fact doesn’t matter.

A few years later, maybe ten, a Pharisee named Saul (again, a Pharisee, a political activist) is said to have seen a blinding light on the road to Demascus, where he saw a vision of Jesus. It is from this man's account that Christianity was based (and we went over how absurdly inaccurate the New testament must have been if this is the main source.)

I would say Saul either heard the story about some charismatic guy, whichever story it was, or he completely fabricated it. Regardless, that light he saw was the formation of a new political party, the Christians. That’s EXACTLY what they were! Saul, who became St. Paul the apostle, sent out his famous "epistles" and rallied up support for the new coup. Surprisingly for a radical, political activist, Paul spent his last days in federal prison.

If you think about it, Paul did EXACTLY what Joseph Smith tried to do, (with pretty decent results, I might add), with the Mormans. They both claimed to have been told the law by Jesus. Incredible. A guy named Muhammad also pulled it off pretty well. Islam is Christianity part II. Exactly! You can see this, right?)

The Christians conflicted directly with the Jews after that, and unfortunately for the latter, the Roman empire adopted the Christian model of government when Constantine converted to the new political party in the 4th century A.D. He altered things slightly, like adding some cool pagan holidays. The Christian party, now called the Roman Catholics, was solidly in control of the Empire for over a thousand years. They became so strong, the model was adopted by their enemies, the Arabs.

The Arabs were a group of tribes in the same area centering in Mesopotamia, but expanding out east to the Middle-East. They were similar to the Jews before they united under Israel. The problem for the Arabs was their land; it was very arid and volcanic. The tribes were nomadic because they constantly had to travel to find water. There were only a few areas that were fertile, Medina and Mecca are two, Israel (Jerusalem) is another. These lands were seized by the strongest. This is why the conflict over Israeli soil has raged on.

In the In the 7th century AD, a politician named Muhammad started his own party to conquer the world, saying HE was summoned by God (who apparently changed his name to Allah, the main god of many worshiped by the Arab tribes). As a great prophet/messenger of the Lord, he rallied the Arabs in Medina to conquer Mecca. A new political party was formed, called Islam!

The Bible came here with the first ship

Islam was the basis of a new powerhouse empire, the Ottomans. The Muslims, as they were called, were fierce rivals to the Christian Romans for centuries and overwhelming them for sometime through the Dark Ages, until they came back strong during the Renaissance and Christianity spread west throughout Europe (and eventually in the U.S. of A).

It was around this time that the great oxymoron, "Holy War" was accepted. Also, during all this time of clashing between the Muslims and Christians, the pesky Jews, the originators of it all, hung around claiming that land. The Muslims oppose the Jews because they have that rich land right in the middle of their region. Although the Christians inherently hate the Jews, due to their history and the fact that they killed Jesus, they support the Jews politically because, well, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

The three have been slaughtering each other, under the authority of God himself for centuries, with no end in sight.

Please notice that NOWHERE in here do I say that Jesus Christ is NOT the son of God. In fact, if he did exist, I would say he definitely was, because we all are. What I am whole-heartedly denouncing is religion. Whichever of the three versions you choose, know that you are only picking a political affiliation.

Let’s take a look at The Commandments

1. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery;
Do not have any other gods before me.
In other words, “We are your government. Have no other king/emperor besides me.”

2. You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name.
More issues of respect for authority.

3.Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.
Don’t get me started. Why the hell aren’t they talking about this? It’s the one thing they said right!

Buddha In Comparison

Here are what's known as the Four Noble Truths. You could say it is the rulebook of Buddhism, except they don't treat it like that. Rather than a law, that is punished by God with eternal suffering, it is a guideline to enlightenment (happiness). It is also meant to keep you from eternal suffering by telling you what causes suffering. That is how the Buddhists view it. Life is suffering inherently, if you are not awake. This is the Hell they speak of. It isn’t a form of government. It is a principle of life.

1. The Nature of Suffering: This is the noble truth of suffering: birth is suffering, aging is suffering, illness is suffering, death is suffering; sorrow, lamentation, pain, grief and despair are suffering; union with what is displeasing is suffering; separation from what is pleasing is suffering; not to get what one wants is suffering; in brief, the five aggregates subject to clinging are suffering.

*          The five aggregates subject to clinging are:
          - form or matter , which is external and internal matter. External is the physical world. Internal includes the material body and the physical sense organs
          - sensation or feeling sensing an object as either pleasant or unpleasant or neutral.
          - perception, conception, cognition or discrimination registers whether an object is recognized or not (for instance, the sound of a bell or the shape of a tree).
          - mental formations, impulses, or volition mental habits, thoughts, ideas, opinions, prejudices, compulsions, and decisions triggered by an object.
          - consciousness or discernment

2. Suffering's Origin - This is the noble truth of the origin of suffering: it is this craving which leads to renewed existence, accompanied by delight and lust, seeking delight here and there, that is, craving for sensual pleasures, craving for existence, craving for extermination.

         *OR COVETING THY NEIGHBORS WIFE. Buddhas says you will suffer if you do this....suffer in your mind. You will feel pain. The Christians like to punish and make rules. Sounds like a government doesn't it? It is.

3. Suffering's Cessation - This is the noble truth of the cessation of suffering: it is the remainderless fading away and cessation of that same craving, the giving up and relinquishing of it, freedom from it, non-reliance on it.

           * Sounds like "avoiding temptation." Doesn't it? This is meant to help you end suffering. Now, imagine if one wanted to take these teachings and use it to control the masses.

4.The Path Leading to the Cessation of Suffering: This is the noble truth of the way leading to the cessation of suffering: it is the Noble Eightfold Path; that is, right view, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness and right concentration.

          * This is your way to Heaven, they call it Nirvana. It is the full realization of what the fuck is really going on. If you do these things, they are saying, you will be totally free and enlightened and happy. If you don't, you won't be burned alive by the devil. You will miserable. People are miserable everyday. They try to mask it with money and worldly possessions, but it doesn't end the suffering.

Buddha goes on to outline all of life. No politics.

Dinosaurs In The Bible

I really enjoyed this one. I hope you do, too. It's a lot of reading, but it's actually pretty damn important. I mean, as a Catholic school snob, who grew up thinking my religion was number one, I am shocked and appalled. To think that I was indoctrinated with this stuff. It's scary, people. This is cult-ish, and as a former employee and true crusader for the Roman Catholic church, I must say, frankly, these people scare the hell out of me!

Remember the Scopes trial we discussed, where the Bible-beaters argued against evolution and the existence of dinosaurs? Yeah, see that's a relatively new obstacle for the church. It wasn't until the 17th century that the first dinosaur bone was found and people started learning through "science", (which ironically spawned from metaphysics, the study of God), and it wasn't a problem for them until the 19th century, when Darwin came around. They went with the 'no dinosaur' thing for about fifty years until that book, Inherit The Wind and society's dull-witted common sense caught up with that melarky.

So, they have changed their stance. Are you ready for this? While studying a question Mom had about the bible's mention of suspended planets, I came upon a few Christian websites, in regard to the matter. I wish I could say, "Boy, this Internet is terrible....." Only, this is the exact crap that was fed to me and my mother and her mother and our whole neighborhood and at one point, all of New York and all of Europe. (while the other version had the whole Middle-East in a choke hold.)

OK, this is the Christians serious response to the Dinosaur thing: They are smugly claiming that, if we only look, the Bible does, in fact, mention Dinosaurs, so there.....(Well, not exactly.) These self-righteous snobs are going to tell us, and more importantly, a generation of young children, that Dinosaurs lived 4,300 years ago, DESPITE consensus from the scientific community that they are off by about 64,995,700 years (and we wonder why scientists and other people with a brain are atheists).

Just so you don't miss any of the pretension or the ignorance or the demonic cultivation, I'll be right with you the whole way in my signature, sarcastic Plume purple. The story we have all heard from movies, television, newspapers, and most magazines and textbooks is that dinosaurs “ruled the Earth” for 140 million years, died out 65 million years ago, and therefore weren’t around when Noah and company set sail on the Ark around 4,300 years ago.

Yes, that wacky "story" that Hollywood puts out....and textbooks. The one that's been verified using radiocarbon dating. That one. Notice the use of parenthesis to denote sarcasm. We also see that in the Plume writings. As a Sarcastic Monk, I HAVE to give them points for that. Let's continue:

Although the Bible does not tell us exactly how long ago it was that God made the world and its creatures, we can make a good estimate of the age of the universe by carefully studying the whole counsel of Scripture, instead of wasting time with that carbon dating and the other scientific methods we've spent billions developing.

God made everything in six days, and rested on the seventh. (By the way, this is the basis for our seven day week—Exodus 20:8–11 <<remind me to get back to that). Leading Hebrew scholars indicate that, based on the grammatical structure of Genesis 1, these “days” were of normal length, and did not represent long periods of time. and of course, don't bother to google that. Now, that's a coincidence. I was just mentioning the other day how a book that I read, in Catholic school, blew that out of the water. You might want to put Inherit The Wind on the ban list (IF you did that stuff) because, as Scope's lawyer pointed out, the heavenly bodies weren't created until day four. If a "day" consists of full rotation of the Earth as it revolves around the Sun, how the Hell did the LEADING HEBREW SCHOLARS (also known as Pharisees, a major political party of time.) measure days 1,2, and 3??

BTW, that Exodus passage is hands down the BEST VERSE IN THE WHOLE BIBLE. God does NOT want us to do shit on Sunday. Would you Bible freaks get on top of THAT one!! We are told God created the first man and woman—Adam and Eve—on Day 6, along with the land animals (which would have included dinosaurs).

Hahaha. Wow. Ok, we seem to have a small disagreement here between EVERY reputable scientist who could keep a straight face and the LEADING HEBREW SCHOLARS (nice word). Now, they're only off by 65 million years!

Those same non-hysterically laughing scientists agree that dinosaurs were far too massive to have inhabited the exact same territory as civilized humans. And IF it were true, which it certainly isn't, they would probably be mentioned a little more often, being that some were the size of three elephants.

(When asked if they thought this was a comical attempt to save face that is making these people look ridiculous, the remaining scientists lost it and cracked up in my face.)

The Bible records the genealogies from Adam to Christ. From the ages given in these lists, (which pinpointed the average life expectancy at about 600 years old, give or take a few hundred) and accepting that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to Earth around 2,000 years ago, we can conclude that the universe is only a few thousand years old (perhaps just 6,000), and not millions of years old (see also Did Jesus Say He Created in Six Literal Days?). Thus, dinosaurs lived within the past few thousand years.

Well, that's that. I wouldn't have believed it if not for the link. I wonder, then, what I did that stupid dinosaur project for. And what's up with all the Neo-lithic, Neantherdal stuff in science class..in Catholic school?

In Genesis 6:19–20, the Bible says that two of every sort of land vertebrate (seven of the “clean” animals) were brought by God to the Ark. Therefore, dinosaurs (land vertebrates) were represented on the Ark.

How Did Those Huge Dinosaurs Fit on the Ark?

Although there are about 668 names of dinosaurs, there are perhaps only 55 different “kinds” of dinosaurs. Furthermore, not all dinosaurs were huge like the brachiosaurus, and even those dinosaurs on the Ark were probably “teenagers” or young adults.

LMAO...I'm sorry. Um, well, I'm satisfied because I was going by the 600+ "names." Since it was only about 50 teenagers, I guess that's certainly plausible.

Should I bother asking how these Hebrew scholars knew that the dinosaurs were teenagers?

Actually, creationism is a great field to get into. It's a very distinguished profession. You are revered within the church. You could author books, give keynote speeches, and there's minimal work; you set your own hours. I mean, it's not like you're doing research. There's nothing to learn! When you realize that horses, zebras, and donkeys are probably descended from the horse-like “kind,” Noah did not have to carry two sets of each such animal. Also, dogs, wolves, and coyotes are probably from a single canine “kind,” so hundreds of different dogs were not needed.

According to Genesis 6:15, the Ark measured 300 x 50 x 30 cubits, which is about 460 x 75 x 44 feet, with a volume of about 1.52 million cubic feet. Researchers have shown that this is the equivalent volume of 522 standard railroad stock cars (US), each of which can hold 240 sheep.

By the way, only 11% of all land animals are larger than a sheep.Without getting into all the math, the 16,000-plus animals would have occupied much less than half the space in the Ark (even allowing them some moving-around space). Oh, well that's nice to know it was a comfortable ride. Thank you for that extended research.

Amazing that Noah built an arc that size, at the age of 700, and oh, don't worry, I wouldn't expect you to "get into all the math." You haven't been getting into all the history or all the geology or all the archaeology or all the biology; why bother with the math?

The Bible is reliable in all areas, including its account of the Ark (and the worldwide catastrophic Flood). A Christian doesn’t have to have a blind faith to believe that there really was an Ark. What the Bible says about the Ark can even be measured and tested today. Really? Where?

Most of us loved reading about dinosaurs at some time in our lives. In 1993, the movie “Jurassic Park” stimulated the public interest in dinosaurs far beyond its previous level. As a result, increasing numbers of people have thought, “Since we have found all these fossils and dinosaur bones, we know dinosaurs existed. How come they are not mentioned in the Bible?” Most of do love Jurassic Park, but not them. That's when the problem spiked a bit for them.

Actually, dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible, and we will prove it by doing the following three things:

Examining the Bible’s text and the related scientific facts.

Explaining the accuracy of the Bible.

Exploring what we are taught in school and through the media.

So. they ARE in the bible and we never knew it. They are going to PROVE it by............reading the bible!

The Bible’s Text

The Bible refers to many the common animals we know today. The list includes lions, wolves, bears, sheep, cattle and dogs along with various kinds of birds, rodents, reptiles, and insects. What is interesting is that this extensive list includes three animals that we no longer recognize. These three are (in the original Hebrew language) tanniyn, b@hemowth (yes, it’s spelled correctly—at least as close as we can get in Roman characters), and livyathan.

Although we alter the spelling of behemoth and Leviathan slightly, we still use those same words in bibles today. However, tanniyn is always translated into another word when we write it in English. Tanniyn occurs 28 times in the Bible and is normally translated “dragon.” It is also translated “serpent,” “sea monster,” “dinosaur,” “great creature,” and “reptile.”

The evidence so far= A word used to describe an animal seen in the bibles sometimes referred to as a dragon or dinosaur, but also could mean snake, gator, iguana or big animal.

**Can I also say that it's ridiculous that we would even have a debate over whether or not enormous pre-historic reptiles, who roamed the Earth 60 million years ago were present 4,000 years ago, on a giant ark built by a 700 year old man, which carried two of every animal to safety, on God's orders before He annihilated the human race.

The fact that the term "creationist" is mentioned with the same prestige implied as "scientist" is also laughable. Hey, it would help if maybe, we could find the ark!!

** On another side-note, the Abraham-ists, meaning the Jew/Christian/Islam three-headed monster also has PROOF that Moses parted the Red Sea and it crashed on top of the Egyptian soldiers. That proof? Chariot wheels were found at the bottom of the sea!

That says it all. I mean, chariot wheels don't just "end up" at the bottom of the sea (near the coast, about 20 meters deep). I know you would be hard-pressed to find a truck tire in the ocean at low tide.

But, they continue:

Behemoth and Leviathan are relatively specific creatures, perhaps each was a single kind of animal. Tanniyn is a more general term, and it can be thought of as the original version of the word “dinosaur.”

The word “dinosaur” was originally coined in 1841, more than three thousand years after the Bible first referred to “Tanniyn.” To make things clearer, we constructed the following table comparing the scientific names with the Biblical names tanniyn, behemoth, and Leviathan.How we got these new names is interesting.

In 1822, Mary Ann Mantell became the first person to discover and correctly identify a strange bone as part of a large, unknown reptile. Her husband, Dr. Gideon Mantell, later named this creature an “Iguanodon.”

From that time forward, these forgotten animals were given names chosen by the people who rediscovered them. Of course, the Bible, written between approximately 1450 BC and 95 AD, does not include any of these names.

Reading the Bible carefully, you will realize that no living creature matches the descriptions of behemoth and Leviathan. However, if you grab your kid’s dinosaur book, you will notice several possible matches for each one.

And if you read further in your kid's books, it says that these creature lived 65 million years ago, so that doesn't work. If you really want to go by descriptions, Jesus sounds like on of those dudes you see in your kid's rap videos.

The most frightening part of this is the reference to your"kid's" dinosaur book. This stuff is actually meant for adults!

Let’s examine those.

Behemoth has the following attributes according to Job 40:15-24

It “eats grass like an ox.” --must be a dinosaur

It “moves his tail like a cedar.” (In Hebrew, this literally reads, “he lets hang his tail like a cedar.”)

Its “bones are like beams of bronze,

His ribs like bars of iron.”

“He is the first of the ways of God.”

“He lies under the lotus trees,

In a covert of reeds and marsh.”

Some bibles and study bibles will translate the word “behemoth” as “elephant” or “hippopotamus.”

OK, OK...elephant makes sense. Elephants were everywhere in the region AT THAT TIME.

Others will put a note at the edge or bottom of the page, stating that behemoth was probably an elephant or a hippopotamus. Although an elephant or hippopotamus can eat grass (or lie in a covert of reeds and marsh), neither an elephant o). r a hippopotamus has a “tail like a cedar” (that is, a tail like a large, tapered tree trunk. In your kid’s dinosaur book you will find lots of animals that have “tails like a cedar.”

Did you get that, folks? Don't you love the smugness.

We would expect behemoth to be a large land animal whose bones are like beams of bronze and so forth, so whatever a behemoth is, it is large. A key phrase is “He is the first of the ways of God.”

This phrase in the original Hebrew implied that behemoth was the biggest animal created. Although an elephant or a hippopotamus are big, AND THEY WERE THE BIGGEST THING AROUND AT THAT TIME. they are less than one-tenth the size of a Brachiosaurus, the largest (complete) dinosaur ever discovered. A Brachiosaurus could therefore easily be described as “the first of the ways of God.”

Comparing all this information to the description in your kid’s dinosaur book, you may come to the conclusion that “behemoth” is not a normal animal, it is a dinosaur—the brachiosaurus. We agree with that conclusion!

Yes, but.....forget it

I do realize that most people do not believe any of that nonsense. Many Christians concede that, yes, those stories are impossible, but that are simply parables used to illustrate a higher point. The problem is some don't, and apparently they are fine with indoctrinating a new generation, so that the indisputable fact can be debated.

God and Intelligence

Our connection to God is inversely proportionate to our intelligence within our bell curve. But, to know God requires an advanced consciousness. That’s why stupid people are happy and ignorance is bliss, but philosophers are said to have IQ's well above average.

In an individual, intelligence forms from the time we are born. At around 7 years old, we have full brain skills complete with memory in tact. That is what the Christians call the “age of reason.” At that point we can begin the indoctrination, the learned emotions, the false life we project in the past and the future, in order to build up an image of ourselves to hold on to, the ego. We lose our connection slowly with the present moment as expectations begin to set in.

The first feelings of stress stem from not being accepted by peers, based on expectations that are learned about what makes a person worthy of acceptance, and another is school performance, which are expectations by society as a whole based on the same thing. Adults say, “Enjoy life while you can. It only gets rougher.” Why is that? Life itself doesn’t get “harder,” expectations become greater. There are no lions complaining about having to hunt. Then again, there are no lions afraid of dying, either. Our use of memory and fear as a survival tactic has gone awry, and we are encompassed by them.

When people say we are inherently evil, they’re wrong. That exact same development of our mind from the time we are born to the “age of reason” is what took place collectively as a species when our intelligence evolved. We are no more evil than any other higher mammal, such as a dog, but when we collectively reached our “age of reason,” (around 3000B.C. Babylon, if I had to guess), we started the development of the brain, as is perfectly illustrated in both the creation story and Darwin’s crude theories.

Let’s review that. Adam (or man on Earth) met Eve (life) and everything was fine; although, we do see signs of fear, perception, and memory as survival tactics, in caveman art. At some point in the collective evolution of the species, as well as individually, we reached a point where we begin to perceive time through the use of our memory. We hear this development from the ancient philosophers, who had been relentlessly trying to grasp this new perception, since the first civilization began, or since Eve gave Adam the apple from the tree of knowledge.

Today, we are so engrossed in our memories that we have created a false existence, collectively and individually, which is based on expectations and predictions, which tell us how to obtain what we think we need to fill the void, which was created by the same exact thinking. See, if we create a false existence in the past and the future, which isn’t reality, then we lose our connection to the present moment, where God is and no fear exists.

The Hawk........ and Politics

The Hawk

I’m sure I’ve mentioned the Hawk before. I maintain that I was visited by a Hawk on the day that I began to wake up. He didn’t speak to me. The bird just loudly appeared on the window sill and stared through the window at me for about 30 seconds. Do I believe in omens? Why not? As cool as it is, though, I try not to discuss it much and here’s why:

I believe this is your own writing, but where is all this knowledge coming from? Are these your own deductions based on what you have read? What I mean is has this stuff been rolling around in your head for years or have you suddenly become enlightened? Because you know if you credit the hawk with this, then it kinda flies in the face of the facts that you have been writing about.

Yes, that was mom after she read a few of these blogs. I have to laugh. Where is all of this knowledge coming from? No. It’s not the Hawk who told me this. I have been studying this for seven years, but it's no wonder she didn’t realize that. Yes, I had been reading books written by spiritual masters, or enlightened individuals, including the words of Jesus and Buddha, and I’ve been meditating, but it’s not like I went off to India and joined a monastery, or took classes on world religion. Everything I needed to know, though, was inside of me.

Do you see the assumptions in that email? I must have gotten this information, or this enlightenment, from somewhere outside of myself, a book or school, or a predatory bird. Someone made the comparison to a tree; everything that tree needs to be complete is inside of one tiny seed. All of the answers are inside of you. The rest are only the trivial aspects of Wiki-facts that, I swear, you already know. That is to say, the actions of humans throughout history is very predictable.

Politics

Back to Mom for a minute-- One of my many relationships with life, meaning of the false relationships that I had formed in my mind to identify myself with, was what I believed to be my mother’s perception of me, which was not only incorrect, but false. That is to say, one of my motivations for doing whatever I did in life was to satisfy what I thought was an obligation necessary to gain the approval of my mother. That’s the ultimate relationship, the same attraction that brings us to “God.”

Of course, mothers also feel that bond to their children, although they identify with them, as well, and therefore, they place the same rules on them as far as what is expected. It sounds bad, I know, but while our parents do have that fundamental attraction to us, which we recognize as love, the greatest force we know of, their relationships with us are based on them wanting “what’s best” for their children, (because, of course, they know what that is)--not to mention the direct reflection on their false projections of themselves, the most important thing to human beings these days.

Lately, my mother has been reading this blog (and she may be the only one), and it may be the first time that she’s listened attentively to what I had to say. I don’t blame her. She mentioned the other day that she was surprised to find such open-mindedness in me, being that I used to argue with her vehemently in favor of the evil Republican party and, more specifically, George W. Bush. She said she knew I’d come around to realize that the Democrats had it right the whole time. It’s funny because she was serious.

It was just before I started seeking the truth. Call it the darkness before the dawn, although it was the logical first step in the journey. I was fast asleep before 9/11, ignorant to what was controlling us and who was in charge. I had to start with the vermin, and these politicians do a wonderful job of indoctrination on talk radio.

So, yes, I believe I was mistaken for a year or two, when it comes to political views, but that doesn’t mean that I chose the wrong party. Politics is just a byproduct of the life we have created for ourselves through our new eyes, the ones that perceive time. When 9/11 happened, I was in a deep sleep. This made me look up, and the first thing I saw was the government.

To be more accurate, the attacks stirred up emotions inside of me. The same emotions we have been discussing. The conservatives were offering immediate justice. Before then, I knew NOTHING about politics. I assumed THIS WAS real life. The opposition to the Iraq war had it right in theory. They claimed they wanted to “understand” the attackers, and so did I, except they are so fixed in the illusory world (as all politicians are) that their deductions were farcical. For example, they don’t hate us because we treat women fairly.

Politics is the very embodiment of the world we created through our false perceptions. The beginning of civilization, also called the age of reasoning or the apple, is marked by the beginning of organized government. So, to say that government=The Devil is very accurate, but we knew that already. It would also be accurate to say government=religion=The Devil. We’ve seen that throughout history, including the Middle-East right now. (Anyone who is going to tell me that church and state are separate in the U.S. should really go back to the beginning of this blog and read, because you missed it.)

Why is it that nobody was oppressed or poverty-stricken before government was formed, before civilization, before Original Sin, before The Devil was given dominion over the Earth, before Eve told Adam to eat the apple from the tree of knowledge, literally translated to mean before "life" gave "men on Earth" the fruits of knowledge, or as Darwin and the atheist scientists would suggest, the evolution of intellect in human beings, from the innate flight or fight survival skill that uses memory and fear, to the incidental formation of emotions that signify to us what is good and what is evil?

There is a natural attraction to the truth, and we know instinctively that this life based on expectations and learned emotions is not real. We try to repair the damages when they get overwhelmingly obvious, like when people are starving. (Of course, we perceive hungry through our own ideas, in relation to our full stomachs.) We probably have a bit of guilt as well, knowing why they are starving. It is funny to watch us try to solve the problem with more of the same thinking, though.

Beware Motivation

Plume was living in Daytona Beach, Florida, late in 2003, when he first began to see a glimpse of the truth. His long-time girlfriend, and first love and heartbreak, with whom he had settled down, hours away from both of their families, decided to leave him (the first time). At that time, he was totally entrenched in fear, or should I say, he was completely unconscious, thanks to his innate survival skill that allows for memory creation as a learning aid and a full stock of emotions he and all of us are taught since birth, after Original Sin. He felt a great loss, so he went to Barnes & Noble and, after an hour of sifting through books in the “self-help” department. He came away with Guy Finley’s book, The Secret Of Letting Go.

I was trying to select the right author. I didn’t want a Dr. Phil-type; I don’t trust those high-profile guys. I don’t trust ANYONE who is selling a book. I also didn’t want more Christian nonsense. Oh, no. I was accepting of Buddhism (and Hinduism), but I didn’t want to do anything that may offend Jesus Christ, just in case. Mr. Finley won the gig. He’s just a man, son of a late night talk show host and TV pioneer, who grew up in Hollywood and was a successful songwriter/musician until he turned 30 years old, at which point he took off for India to study the truth.

He returned to the U.S. a few years later and studied under a metaphysician named Vernon Howard until he broke off and began his own Learning Center, where he is now, teaching and writing, which is all that an enlightened man CAN do. What attracted me to his books (and later his talks), besides the fact that I had never viewed life from that angle before, was his simplicity and the way he tied everything in to the scriptures. That’s when I saw that they were identical religions. It wasn’t until years later that I learned which religion he actually studied, all of them mixed with science and psychology, truth.

Anyway, since then I’ve basically swallowed whole anything I can find in regards to the truth and have even regurgitated my own opinions, but I still regard Guy as my first teacher and because I’m comfortable with his style, I still listen to his talks on a daily basis. He gave an excellent lesson today, one that I listened to over and over, so that I wouldn’t forget it.

Motivation = Slave Driver

He spoke about motivation......and how dangerous it is. Actually, he used the term “slave driver.” Basically, if you have no motivation to do something, then you don’t want to do it! People will say, “But, I have bills to pay.” Yes. We have needs, such as food, shelter, and clothing. When we need to do something, we just do it. There’s no need for motivation in that case, but when we go to work and “do what we gotta do,” when we don’t want to, it’s because we don’t NEED what we are chasing. It is done out of fear. We will say it’s a fear of being homeless or maybe starving to death; that’s the short answer and it’s rather effective, although you are pretty certain that won’t happen, no matter how bad it gets. What we really fear is losing our identity, meaning who we think we are and are trying to become.

As we discussed, human beings long for relationships, with people or things, so that we have something to identify with. That job is a means of forming relationships. I don’t necessarily mean within the workplace, although that is also true (we’ve all seen people who get “attached” to their job), but with everything you believe the job will get for you. People also identify and yearn for relationship with their careers, because they feel that the promotion will elevate their standing within society, for example. This is not done out of love, or else we wouldn’t need a motive.

Now, Mr. Finley is not saying to quit your job and do nothing. Healthy human beings will do what they have to do for themselves and their family to survive, and enlightened human beings will never just do NOTHING. When we say we are “struggling” to live, we mean we are struggling to maintain, or “improve,” the image of ourselves that we keep in our memory and that tells us what we need to do or be or have to make us happy. In the practical sense, he claims we should do what we have to and do it to the best of our ability. But, don’t motivate yourself to do it so that you’ll receive something or become something that your mind tells you will make things better.

We have to look at all of this as social conditioning, as well. Emotions are learned. In fact, they are part of our evolution as a species, because the ability to learn, or memory, is a survival tactic, in itself. We are told by our parents and their parents that we need to work, because we will have good bank accounts and a house and that is the way to find happiness. We watched our parents struggle with this; we struggled with this. We say, “That’s life.”

No, it’s not!

I've always challenged the notion that money can’t buy happiness, but I was wrong. It can not. And what sort of life has been spent when you have learned nothing about yourself besides how to work a cash register? Or how to close million dollar deals?

I had a problem. I was robbed. Well, my wife was. It was your classic grab and go
by a young hoodlum. I will leave the story dangling so as not to allow my vex to veer off into the details of the ordeal. I will simply make two definitive statements, which I expect will be accepted as truth; it IS my story.

OK, here they are: First, I knew who did it beyond all doubt, and better yet, I knew where he resided. Second, I needed swift retaliation and recovery of the lost funds, a revenge served piping hot.

I needed to talk to the people in charge. Only THEY are powerful enough to aid my retribution. I should say, though, I am not speaking of the police or any government agency. I am not a rat. Besides, I needed action. I traveled to the new frontier, The Internet. It was only here in this dimension of disorder that I would find justice. Here I sought them out.

They are called Avengers. I couldn't say exactly where they were to be found, only that they were among the first inhabitants of the land which now supports billions, and among these masses they hide, lurking in Cyber Space. You must simply search for them.

Naturally, I was furious over the incident and eager to hear their doctrines of revenge. I would approach this dangerous group with the humility of a man who begs Don Corleon for a reprieve. They're tagged Avengers because that's exactly what they are, students of retribution. They strike fear without force. They bring destruction from a leather chair with the slightest movements of their index finger. They are a conglomerate of frustrated geniuses who resent the world for being too simple to entertain them and too shallow to understand them, yet still arrogant enough to mock them. It's a conclave brought about by the greed of this cocky world, the exact trait which irks these Avengers to no end.

From time to time, inexperienced ones will be exposed. They bring great apprehension to the mindless public, which labels them "hackers", a title as piercing as "terrorist" and more daunting than "communist". It is a handle they wear proudly, knowing they are the masters of this wild beast called the net.

I found them at their hangout, their spot, their club. On the web, these social settings are called forums or boards. Though not an actual location as we know it, its patrons are just as menacing as any ragtag group of hooligans to ever assemble at a neighborhood watering hole. I entered humbly, offering praises. I was full of contrition for the disrespect I had shown earlier in the decade, during my first visits to their land of organized confusion. I was unaware of the etiquette demanded in their boolean world, and my ignorance led to an awful heresy known as "leeching"( downloading files without sharing).

I felt it was best to be upfront with that information. It was in the past, and I suspected they would appreciate my candor. Besides, they knew anyway. They probably know everything I've ever done in that world. That's why they rule here, but make no mistake, Cyber-Space is no democracy, nor is it totalitarian. It's an anarchy, a place where you don't fuck with the wrong person.

My sincerity wasn't good enough. In not so many words, I was told, "Good Luck, but we can't help a leecher". They take leeching very seriously, very seriously. When spotted, offenders are usually either tormented with illness, known as a virus, or suspended indefinitely from their world. So much for honesty.

To be brief, I was upset, but still, I marched ahead using the instructions found in this group's extensive literature on the topic of vengeance. Barely scratching the surface of these resources, I handpicked a few tactics and executed them, and it worked! I had found great rapture in the art of investigation with intent to demolish!

Although I was shunned for my past offenses, I at least wanted to report my success and show gratitude. Below is my reply to these unforgiving masters of the future...(and present). (Yes, it was also an attempt to gain acceptance, naturally I want to be with the strongest swimmers when we are finally thrown completely into the digital sea.) Here it is:

As the "newbie" who asked for assistance in executing a proper attack in the name of justice and compensation two days ago, I thank you solely for this special organization. This group, ***, as well as it's predecessors and relatives around the www have provided me with a wealth of resources, ideas, and inspiration to execute what is surely the most effective counter-strike in my history, without working up a sweat and with not so much as a broken nail.

I am proud to announce that just one day into my campaign, two-hours ago, I fielded a phone called from a gentleman who asked if I was responsible for putting his house up for sale, would I PLEASE take down the ad, and can I give him the number of the bank account in which he will surrender funds. That man was of course my mark (actually the person legally responsible for my true, underage mark). Apparently the girl scouts, the Marines and Jehovah's witnesses had yet to engage him. I almost feel bad, but that's when I picture the s^%$%@g running away with my wife's (my) money!

Clearly, it was not your typical Hayduke revenge. It was served hot off the grill and many of the commandments were blatantly broken. This was more of a Mel Gibson revenge, no time to cool off because they've got his son (usually). In my case, it was my overdue rent and my pride. Still, the tactics employed were those of TAH(The Handbook), Hayduke, Anarchist CB...etc.

If this is so, I am disheartened to say the least. I've found my frontier, albeit late; I am here in the wild west of the binary code armed with a six shooter. On horseback, I've galloped into town, and I'm being sneered at from every corner of the local tavern. Thing is, I'm not the Outlaw Josey Wales or any other cliche "stranger in town" who blows through and rides off. See, I love it here. I'd like to stick around. I burn to find my niche in the new reality.

I AM a newbie, yet I still feel I have the advantage over the moronic majority. Anyone over 30(not the elite group represented here,of course) didn't exactly grow up with the web; most are ignorant. Most use email, microsoft office, and facebook. period.

Even the "Internet babies" (20-under) rarely get past twittering and making themselves look like a cartoon. Again: "most of them". There is much more than these silly social games that invite every sociopath with working fingers to thoroughly stalk you with an efficiency that would freak out Max Cady himself!

No, I see a new world where money no longer exists, only 1' and 0's. The proverbial suitcase full of cash is reduced to a magnetic stripe which fits on your key chain. I can see Tony Montana crying.(Remember how they got him?)

I see a world where the smartest of us rule. No more simpletons who look good on Television or politicians who get to the top through artful deception and hollow promises. Perhaps,the mindless bureaucrats,aristocrats,and hippocrates will still be propped up to BS the cattle, but make no mistake, You are the ones who will rule!

The PLA, Avengers, hackers,whatever...The wicked, terrorizing anarchists, who decided there was something to that C64 when the rest of us wallowed in archaic seas of Atari and Coleco Vision, who listened to that mime selling apple computers and sailed to the new land known as the Internet. These dot com pioneers are this century's Knights of Templar, soon to be the illuminati of the new millenium. They are vilified in the media by the same paper tigers who court them behind closed doors, begging for their protection.

In the new world, hackers are the security experts. Those on the front page for fraudulent actions of the worst kind are also on the front line when it comes to defending them from their own monstrous creation, built out of greed.
There is no superpower on Earth that can stop this force majeure, this marvelous
monstrosity. This is our Dr. Manhattan transcending even Nuclear attack.

I see it. I'm actually quite astonished at how the masses can be kept at bay with only the most rudimentary of rules and guidelines enforced mainly by threats and hyperbole. You CAN get busted, but more often than not, it is fear that keeps the order. Petty crimes are free, with only the dumbest getting pinched (and I mean dumb). Social networking and gossips shepard the rest of the cattle. I think of the Zombies films where fireworks are set off in the sky to immobilize the curious, pea brained sloths. Classic! All the knowledge man has collected since the first historical recording of ancient civilizations is a click away, yet facebook remains King! (Plato rolls over.)

For the independent thinkers, who realize that our laws are devised by imbeciles and villians set into action, in most cases, either as a favor to a contributor or as a moronic, knee-jerk reaction to their own colossal failures (usually purposely exposed in some scandalous way). For us, there lies an array of victimless crimes waiting to be enjoyed.

And still my past forbids my acceptance in this new land? Kindly reconsider, friend. Walter is dead, only Rorshack remains.

The Beginning and The End...and the Internet

As a footnote, I have no idea why I continue to capitalize these "sacred" words. I’m not sure if it’s to placate these fools so that they might actually listen or if I am subconsciously carrying around some residual fear of my childhood pastor, Monsignor Guido, who would condemn all Jews, including my family physician, sweet, old Dr. Schweig, to hell and once told me, in first grade, to take a hike because I had attended mass in a different parish, that is, my collection envelopes went to a different parish.)

With that said, every time I hear a Bible-beater speak about the creation story, starring Adam and Eve, with historical certainty, I think of a book we read in school about the John Scopes “monkey trial,” where a school teacher in some early southern Christian town took it upon himself to trump the Garden of Eden tale and teach Darwin’s theory of evolution, which was beginning to pick up steam because...basically, what they had was B.S. The book was called Inherit The Wind.

Anyway, the book centers around the witch hunt trial involving the sharp local D.A. versus the lawyer from the city who defends Scopes and, in effect, the theory itself. And, he said something that I thought made all the sense in the world.

The last time I brought it up was in an argument with a “born again” co-worker who was actually trying to convince me that dinosaurs didn’t exist and that the Earth was only 3,000 years old. (Basically, he takes the Bible literally. I know, I can’t believe it either.) You would think the argument would have been over once I pulled this gem out, since it even worked well in the book, but I have a feeling he didn’t change his mind. Actually, he simply shook his head and expressed sympathy for my soul.

Here it is, and don’t expect anything to complex. According to the book of Genesis, God created the world in six days, (and on the seventh day he watched football.) But, if you look closer, he created light on day one, then on days two and three, he separated the water from the land and made vegetation and crops. It was day four that he created the heavenly bodies, or the “lights in the sky.” Think about that. Day 4? What is a day as we know it? It is the amount of time it takes for the Earth to complete one rotation, because of its relation to the Sun. We spin around the Sun to create seasons, and we rotate, causing day and night to occur.

Only, the Sun and the planets in orbit weren’t created until the fourth day. So, what exactly were we using to measure days 1,2, and 3? They could not have been 24-hour days, because there was no solar system. So, is it not possible that those “days” they speak of were actually a little more than 24 hours, like maybe 52 hours or a few days or a few million years?! It was a Pacino-like moment in the book, and he won his case. That does not mean anyone’s mind was changed, though, which is unbelievable. At any rate, we discussed that yesterday and decided it didn’t matter how we got there.

Yesterday, we spoke about the creation being the point in our evolution where we reached a level of consciousness that allows us to feel fear and, from that, generate emotions. We talked about our perception of time at this level and how we began to form memories, which led to expectations, and a false existence we created in the past and the future, which took us away from the present moment, where we are connected with God and with everything else. This moment, when we broke away from the pack and gained a “soul,” is called Original Sin by the Bible; it is the point where Adam (man on Earth) met Eve (life) and bit the infamous apple. It was the formation of our ego.

So, in terms of beginning and end. The Armageddon we speak of would have to be our movement, once again, into a higher realm of consciousness. To do this, we must shed the illusions we’ve created at this level, which have caused fear and negative emotions that we see as the Devil, and move forward, collectively, until they disappear. If we give in to the Devil, meaning, we stay asleep in that level of consciousness, which perceives time through newly enhanced memory functions, ingrained for survival, that lead to expectations (and so on), we are stuck in what I call fear consciousness, or "hell."

This idea of moving forward collectively is illustrated by a student of Freud, Carl Jung, and his Jungian brand of psychology. Jung believed in a “collective conscience” or sub-conscience, that connected all of us. It explains how all humans seem to have the same tendencies. We are all moved by the same “force” that is fed by all of us, everyday. Christians call it the Holy Spirit.

So, this collective conscience naturally progresses toward a level that not only perceives time, but fully understands its principles and completely sees the “evil” it has created as a result of its ignorance. It is at that moment, illustrated by religion as some system of rewards and punishments, which is a handy tool when it comes to crowd control, that we move forward into “Heaven.” By the way, the concept of the Holy Spirit, reaching out to all of us with the knowledge necessary for that transformation, sounds familiar.

Now, I’m not saying that the Internet is God, although it is the closest thing to omniscient I’ve seen. It is, however, a collection of our factual knowledge, our thoughts and ideas, our questions, our answers, and basically anything you need to find the truth. It is also the closest thing to a collective conscience that I’ve seen. The fact is that the answers we seek, or the resources needed to find those answers, are right there for us. I truly believe we are on our way to eternal happiness, and it only stands to reason that the Internet will play an important role in spreading the Truth. It is the ultimate Holy Spirit.

Of course, don’t forget the Devil rules this “world,” meaning the illusion we have created through our newly acquired ability to create memories, a skill ingrained in us as a means of survival, which has allowed us to perceive time and causes us to have expectations and “feelings” about a person, place, or event, called emotions, namely fear. If we continue to live in that illusory world and serve the “Devil,” then we will never go to Heaven, meaning we will never advance to a higher level of consciousness.
