Igigi- Plus Size Fashion

2011-03-07T13:00:00.000-05:00

So, while looking around on the web, I came across this site- Igigi. I'd never heard of them before, so I took a look around.

Not the cheapest, but their clothes are GORGEOUS! Not to mention their plus size models are actually plus-sized- and gorgeous.

Check them out here. I'll be keeping an eye out for some coupons for these guys, cuz I know I really want to score some of their clothes. They have some GREAT retro/vintage looking pieces.

From their site:

IGIGI specializes in sexy and sophisticated plus size clothing, with an emphasis on plus size formal wear, plus size wedding gowns and plus size dresses and plus size separates. We believe that words like "ample," "opulent," "curvaceous," and "voluptuous" should be mainstays in the fashion dictionary. It is important to accentuate and celebrate the beauty and sensuality of the female figure rather than cover it up with piles of fabric.

LOVE IT!

Anyone bought from them before? Thoughts?

Sorry for the Absence! (I do not heart viruses)

2011-03-07T12:50:00.000-05:00

I got a nasty computer virus this weekend that pretty much took over most of my weekend. I was DETERMINED not to pay $150 to have someone fix my computer, so I did it myself.

So, we're back to good (I think) but it's taken me the last few days to get everything back in order.

So, thanks for bearing with me!

Keep an eye out this week for an awesome giveaway! Not sure what it might be yet, but it's gonna be good!

Plus-Size Consignment- Right Here on this Blog!

2011-03-02T14:24:00.000-05:00

I've been trying to find a good plus-size consignment store where I live. I've found a few, but it seems they mostly cater to an older crowd. So, I've decided to try to sell some of my clothes here on the blog! I also hope to encourage all of you to sell your clothes on here as well!

Here's how it works:

I'll list an item as a post. Each item will have a number, as well as all of the item's stats.

If you're interested in an item, just EMAIL ME the item number(s), I'll put everything together for you, and send you an invoice through Paypal. At this time, I can only accept payments through Paypal.

If YOU want to sell items on this site, you can do so FOR FREE! I'll be creating a listing form that you just need to fill out, along with YOUR contact info, so interested buyers can email you once they fnd a item they like. :)

I'll be posting more on thisas we go along. I'll also have a separate page where you can find all the info you need, all in one place!

Thanks, and Happy Browsing!

This is a great article that proves that fashionable clothing ain't just for the skinny gals.

While the women pictured here are still gorgeous models (with a few less rolls and bulges than me), it's nice to see how beauty really does come in all sizes.
