Got the new, fresh white walls for the cruiser. Hog needed it. Old rubber was torquing and flexing at the seams. It was starting to show its innards. Brought it to CYCLEPATH over on MLK, great group of techs there.

Visited CHA CHA CHA before heading to see THE SECRET WORLD OF ARRIETTY, the new Studio Ghibli film. I was really tired, but it was really good... no Spirited Away, but great story and outstanding animation none-the-less.

Gave POTATO CHAMPION some support with a classic POUTINE down the gullet. Curds man, curds. They have all sorts of flavors and temptations now. Later on some of us hit up some thrift stores. Scored a new French Press and a Monkey Bread Pan. Gonna make some Monkey Bread Pizza. UPDATE: Made the monkey bread pizza and its was amazing.

Finished up a few posters this weekend along with some wedding invites. One just to the client and one came back from the printers. The ones that just came back look great. Client is please, we're pleased. All around chum-fuckery.

Displaced in the office today. I have no where to sit. Being smashed from all sides and I could sure as shit use a vacation. And concurrently a hundred new jobs as well. How hard and thin do I have to push / stretch before something gives?

Our new run of business cards came in today. After about 5 months of debate, back and forth, jew jawing... they've arrived. They look pretty sharp. We also received the Teardrop Banners today ... I'll post those later as they look really stunning. Well, off to enjoy the weekend.

Saturday night we went and saw DON HERTZFELDT at the Hollywood Theater. He showed his new film which was the third in a trilogy. Everything Will Be OK. It was great. Afterwards, he did a Q&A. Evening well spent. #hertzfeldt

Found a sweet Uke with all its strings at the bins on Friday.

Found a copy (original) of UHF on vhs ... wow. Going to treasure this one... for sure. Its basically untouched. Wish I had a vcr to play it in one last time.

Saturday after a long day of thriftiness, sushi and animation festival, we stumbled upon the DECENTRALIZED DANCE PARTY under the Hawthorne Bridge. We sere so under prepared but still had a blast. This is a must and will be attended every time its here. DDP, congrats.

Also, had a stop in at our favorite bakery. Lemon coconut and coffee cream cakes. Ahem. One of the better weekends I've seen.

Well, I just celebrate my double golden birthday. 33 long years. Too fast, I'd say. Boss took me to lunch, Dan and I got some fresh 'za from some joint on MLK and we rounded out the night by stuffing that pie in our holes and watching some MR SHOW. Going to try and rally some folks for sushi on friday, perhaps hit up the Japanese gardens or something. All in all, it was a good one. Lil' bro got my a DRINKY CROW vinyl toy (cool as shit). Last night, as we were trouncing around downtown (see previous post) ... we happened to walk past the future home of BLUE COLLAR BAKING. We pointed it out because they have Pillsbury Dough Boy vinyl toys in the windows. I commented on them and thought it sounded like a good place because of that single fact. Now today, when I get into work, someone here hands me this packet of promotional cookies from this place. The cookies themselves look amazing and I can't wait to try one. #bluecollarbaking
