2.1 INTRODUCTION

In Unit I, you have learned about 'Nature of Science', 'Objectives ofTeaching Science' and 'Science Curriculum'.

Nature of Science: What is Science, and why should we teach science? We live in a scientific and technological age, and no citizen can survive in a developed society without basic scientific literacy and certain elementary skills. We depend upon scientific knowledge and understanding for economic and material advancement. Science is fundamentally concerned \~ith exp!oring and interpreti,:&ih: physical w.hkci tl~rob~li I~ILC ~u~lddiil~irki~ areas of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. One has to be trained to use it. This training comes from teaching. Which helps in developing power ofthinking and reaso~iing, curiosity. open-mindness, and ultimately to develop scientific temper.

Objective of Teaching Science: There are many objectives for teaching of science. According to NPE-1986, science education should be strengthened so as to develop in to? child, well defined abilities and values such as the spirit of enquiry creativity, objectivity, the courage to question, and aesthetic sensibilities. Science education programmes will be designed to enable to learner to acquire problem solving and decision-making skills and to discover the relatio~iship of science with health, agriculture, industry and other aspects of daily life. Every effort will be made to extend science education to the vast numbers who have remained outside the preview of formal education.

Science Curriculum: Science has two basic components, viz. content and processes. In Science texts, you can very easily find out, 'What is content?' and 'What are processes?'. 'Law, Theories, Principles, Hypotheses. Equations and concepts can be categorized, as content. Skills such as 'Observing, Classifying, Using numbers, Measuring, Using space- time relationships, Communicating, Predicting, Inferring, Defining operationally, Formulating hypotheses, Communicating, Predicting, Inferring, Defining operationally, Formulating hypotheses, Interpreting date, Controlling variables and Experimenting' comprise processes.

Teaching a particular content and process has to be compatible with the 'Nature and Objective of Science' with the cognitive level of child and existing classroom conditions. In this unit, we will discuss various Approaches/Methods of teaching science which helps in matching the objectives and cognitive level of child. You must have frequently come across the terms, 'Approach' and 'Method', they are not same but have a fine line of difference between them.

Ail approach may be explained as a comprehensive way of dealing with a particular problem. It is a general plan ofaction, on the basis ofwhich, various methods and models have e\-olved. However, a method is an orderly and logical arrangement of ideas based on a particular approach. It is a procedural illustration of systematic and clearly defined steps of accomplishing particular objectives. An approach, hence can be called as a premise or precilrsor on which a method is designed.

There are a variety of approaches and methods for teaching science. We will discuss the following :

- Laboratory Method

- Scientific Method, and

- Project'Method

2.2 OBJECTIVES

After completing this unit, the trainees will be able to:

identify when to use a certain approach/method, with reasons,
differentiate various approaches/methods from one another.

2.3 ENQUIRY APPROACH

If you want to develop in the child the spirit of enquiry, use 'Enquiry Approach' while teaching science. Enquiry Approach begins with a puzzling event like 'blowing out of an electric bulb in the class'. Children enquire when there are explanations to be given/ obtained. After the puzzling event (problem) is presented to the children, they may ask the teacher (you) soine questions. You should not give the children the readymade answers. Let them enquire. You may answer the children's question with a 'yes' or 'no'. Each question may be in the form of a small hypotheses. Such teacher-student interaction may continue till the children begin to formulate hypotheses about what happened in the puzzling event. Then, the children verify these hypotheses after searching tluough reference material, and doing little experiments:

2.3.1 How to Use this Approach?

Select a topic, say 'construction of an electric bulb'. Think of some event regarding the topic, which may puzzle the children, like 'blowing up the electric bulb'. Children will I enquire when they get puzzled, and will ask you some question. Answer the childrens' question in 'Yes' or 'No'. Continue this interaction between you and the children till the children begin to forinulate hypotheses about what happened when the electric bulb blew up. Encourage and motivate children to verify their hypotheses. Let them search through soine reference material and let them do little experiments.

CONSTRUCTS

To summarize their observations and to provide explanations of behavior, scientists create constructs. Constructs are abstractions that cannot be observed directly but are useful in interpreting empirical data and in theory building. For example, people can observe that individuals differ in what they can learn and how quickly they can learn it. To account for this observation, scientists invented the construct called intelligence. They hypothesized that intelligence influences learning and that individuals differ in the extent to which they possess this trait. Other examples of constructs in educational research are motivation, reading readiness, anxiety, underachievement, creativity, and self-concept.

Defining constructs is a major concern for researchers. The further removed constructs are from the empirical facts or phenomena they are intended to represent, the greater the possibility for misunderstanding and the greater the need for precise definitions. Constructs may be defined in a way that gives their general meaning, or they may be defined in terms of the operations by which they will be measured or manipulated in a particular study. The former type of definition is called a constitutive definition; the latter is known as an operational definition.

Constitutive Definition

A constitutive definition is a formal definition in which a term is defined by using other terms. It is the dictionary type of definition. For example, intelligence may be defined as the ability to think abstractly or the capacity to acquire knowledge. This type of definition helps convey the general meaning of a construct, but it is not precise enough for research purposes. The researcher needs to define constructs so that readers know exactly what is meant by the term and so that other investigators can replicate the research. An operational definition serves this purpose.

Operational Definition

An operational definition ascribes meaning to a construct by specifying operations that researchers must perform to measure or manipulate the construct. Operational definitions may not be as rich as constitutive definitions but are essential in research because investigators must collect data in terms of observable events. Scientists may deal on a theoretical level with such constructs as learning, motivation, anxiety, or achievement, but before studying them empirically, scientists must specify observable events to represent those constructs and the operations that will supply relevant data. Operational definitions help the researcher bridge the gap between the theoretical and the observable.

Although investigators are guided by their own experience and knowledge and the reports of other investigators, the operational definition of a concept is to some extent arbitrary. Often, investigators choose from a variety of possible operational definitions those that best represent their own approach to the problem.

Certainly an operational definition does not exhaust the full scientific meaning of any concept. It is very specific in meaning; its purpose is to delimit a term, to ensure that everyone concerned understands the particular way a term is being used. For example, a researcher might state, “For this study, intelligence is defined as the subjects’ scores on the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children.” Operational definitions are considered adequate if their procedures gather data that constitute acceptable indicators of the constructs they are intended to represent. Often, it is a matter of opinion whether they have achieved this result.

Operational definitions are essential to research because they permit investigators to measure abstract constructs and permit scientists to move from the level of constructs and theory to the level of observation, on which science is based. By using operational definitions, researchers can proceed with investigations that might not otherwise be possible. It is important to remember that although researchers report their findings in terms of abstract constructs and relate these to other research and to theory, what they have actually found is a relationship between two sets of observable and measurable data that they selected to represent the constructs. In practice, an investigation of the relation between the construct creativity and the construct intelligence relates scores on an intelligence test to scores on a measure of creativity.

VARIABLES

Researchers, especially quantitative researchers, find it useful to think in terms of variables. A variable is a construct or a characteristic that can take on different values or scores. Researchers study variables and the relationships that exist among variables. Height is one example of a variable; it can vary in an individual from one time to another, among individuals at the same time, among the aver- ages for groups, and so on. Social class, gender, vocabulary level, intelligence, and spelling test scores are other examples of variables. In a study concerned with the relation of vocabulary level to science achievement among eighth-graders, the variables of interest are the measures of vocabulary and the measures of science achievement. There are different ways to measure science achievement. The researcher could use a standardized achievement test, a teacher-made test, grades in science class, or evaluations of completed science projects. Any of these measures could represent the variable “science achievement.”

Types of Variables

There are several ways to classify variables. Variables can be categorical, or they can be continuous. When researchers classify subjects by sorting them into mutually exclusive groups, the attribute on which they base the classification is termed a categorical variable. Home language, county of residence, father’s principal occupation, and school in which enrolled are examples of categorical variables. The simplest type of categorical variable has only two mutually exclusive classes and is called a dichotomous variable. Male–female, citizen–alien, and pass–fail are dichotomous variables. Some categorical variables have more than two classes; examples are educational level, religious affiliation, and state of birth.

When an attribute has an infinite number of values within a range, it is a continuous variable. As a child grows from 40 to 41 inches, he or she passes through an infinite number of heights. Height, weight, age, and achievement test scores are examples of continuous variables.

The most important classification of variables is on the basis of their use within the research under consideration, when they are classified as independent variables or dependent variables. Independent variables are antecedent to dependent variables and are known or are hypothesized to influence the dependent variable, which is the outcome. In experimental studies, the treatment is the independent variable and the outcome is the dependent variable. In an experiment in which freshmen are randomly assigned to a “hands-on” unit on weather forecasting or to a textbook-centered unit and are then given a common exam at the end of the study, the method of instruction (hands-on versus textbook) ante- cedes the exam scores and is the independent variable in this study. The exam scores follow and are the dependent variable. The experimenter is hypothesizing that the exam scores will partially depend on how the students were taught weather forecasting. In this case, freshman status is a constant.

However, if you wish to determine the effect of testing procedures, classroom grouping arrangements, or grading procedures on students’ motivation, then motivation becomes the dependent variable. Intelligence is generally treated as an independent variable because educators are interested in its effect on learn- ing, the dependent variable. However, in studies investigating the effect of pre-school experience on the intellectual development of children, intelligence is the dependent variable.

CONSTANTS

The opposite of variable is constant. A constant is a fixed value within a study. If all subjects in a study are eighth-graders, then grade level is a constant. In a study comparing the attitudes toward school of high school girls who plan professional careers with those who do not plan professional careers, high school girls constitute a constant; whether they plan professional careers is the independent variable, and their attitudes constitute the dependent variable. Figure 2.3 illustrates a process for classifying variables and constants.

QUESTIONS THAT EDUCATIONAL RESEARCHERS ASK

The specific question chosen for research, of course, depends on the area that interests the researchers, their background, and the particular problem they confront. However, we may classify questions in educational research as theoretical (having to do with fundamental principles) or as practical (designed to solve immediate problems of the everyday situation).

THEORETICAL QUESTIONS

Questions of a theoretical nature are those asking “What is it?” or “How does it occur?” or “Why does it occur?” Educational researchers formulate “what” questions more specifically as “What is intelligence?” or “What is creativity?” Typical “how” questions are “How does the child learn?” or “How does personality develop?” “Why” questions might ask “Why does one forget?” or “Why are some children more achievement-oriented than other children?”

Research with a theoretical orientation may focus on either developing new theories or testing existing theories. The former involves a type of study in which researchers seek to discover generalizations about behavior, with the goal of clarifying the nature of relationships among variables. They may believe that certain variables are related and thus conduct research to describe the nature of

the relationship. From the findings, they may begin to formulate a theory about the phenomenon. Theories of learning have thus been developed because investigators have shown the relationships among certain methods, individual and environmental variables, and the efficiency of the learning process.

Probably more common in quantitative educational research are studies that aim to test already existing theories. It may be overly ambitious, especially for beginning researchers in education, to take as a goal the development of a theory. It is usually more realistic to seek to deduce hypotheses from existing theories of learning, personality, motivation, and so forth, and to test these hypotheses. If the hypotheses are logical deductions from the theory, and the empirical tests provide evidence that supports the hypotheses, then this evidence also provides support for the theory.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Many questions in educational research are direct and practical, aimed at solving specific problems that educators may encounter in everyday activities. These questions are relevant for educational research because they deal with actual problems at the level of practice and lead to an improvement in the teaching– learning process. Slavin (2004) writes that “enlightened educators look to education research for well-founded evidence to help them do a better job with the children they serve” (p. 27). Some academic researchers, however, criticize practitioner research as not being sufficiently rigorous. But Anderson (2002) also argues for a research continuum for doctoral students in education that includes practitioner research. Such practical questions are, for example, “How effective is peer tutoring in the elementary school classroom?” “How does teaching children cognitive strategies affect their reading comprehension?” “What is the relative effectiveness of the problem discussion method as compared with the lecture method in teaching high school social studies?” or “What are the most effective means of providing remediation to children who are falling behind?” The answers to such questions may be quite valuable in helping teachers make practical decisions in the classroom.

These practical questions can be investigated just as scientifically as the theoretical problems. The two types of questions differ primarily on the basis of the goals they hope to achieve rather than on the study’s level of sophistication.

LANGUAGE OF RESEARCH

Any scientific discipline needs a specific language for describing and summarizing observations in that area. Scientists need terms at the empirical level to describe particular observations; they also need terms at the theoretical level for referring to hypothetical processes that may not be subject to direct observation. Scientists may use words taken from everyday language, but they often ascribe to them new and specific meanings not commonly found in ordinary usage. Or perhaps they introduce new terms that are not a part of everyday language but are created to meet special needs. One of these terms is construct.

THE ROLE OF RELATED LITERATURE

IN QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH

Quantitative researchers are urged not to rush headlong into conducting their study. The search for related literature should be completed before the actual conduct of the study begins in order to provide a context and background that support the conduct of the study. This literature review stage serves several important functions:

Knowledge of related research enables investigators to define the frontiers of their field. To use an analogy, an explorer might say, “We know that beyond this river there are plains for 2000 miles west, and beyond those plains a range of mountains, but we do not know what lies beyond the mountains. I propose to cross the plains, go over the mountains, and proceed from there in a westerly direction.” Likewise, the researcher in a sense says, “The work of A, B, and C has discovered this much about my question; the investigations of D have added this much to our knowledge. I propose to go beyond D’s work in the following manner.”
A thorough review of related theory and research enables researchers to place their questions in perspective. You should determine whether your endeavours are likely to add to knowledge in a meaningful way. Knowledge in any given area consists of the accumulated outcomes of numerous studies that generations of researchers have conducted and of the theories designed to integrate this knowledge and to explain the observed phenomena. You should review the literature to find links between your study and the accumulated knowledge in your field of interest. Studies with no link to the existing knowledge seldom make significant contributions to the field. Such studies tend to produce isolated bits of information that are of limited usefulness.
Reviewing related literature helps researchers to limit their research question and to clarify and define the concepts of the study. A research question may be too broad to be carried out or too vague to be put into concrete operation; for example, “What do parenting practices have to do with mental health?” A careful review of the literature can help researchers revise their initial questions so that the final questions can be investigated.The literature review also helps in clarifying the constructs involved in the study and in translating these constructs into operational definitions. Many educational and behavoral constructs—such as stress, creativity, frustration, aggression, achievement, motivation, and adjustment—need to be clarified and operationally defined. These, as well as many other educational and behavioral constructs, do not lend themselves to research until they can be quantified. In reviewing literature, you become familiar with previous efforts to clarify these con- structs and to define them operationally. Successful reviews often result in the formation of hypotheses regarding the relationships among variables in a study. The hypotheses can provide direction and focus for the study.
Through studying related research, investigators learn which methodologies have proven useful and which seem less promising. The investigator develops increasing sophistication after digging through the layers of research that the related literature represents. As you delve into your topic, you soon see that the quality of research varies greatly. Eventually, you should begin to notice that not all studies in any one field are necessarily equal. You will soon be critiquing studies and noticing ways in which they could be improved. For example, early studies in any one particular field may seem crude and ineffective because research methodology and design are constantly being refined with each new study. Even so, many research projects fail because they use inappropriate procedures, instruments, research designs, or statistical analyses. Becoming proficient at evaluating research to determine its worth helps the investigator discover the most useful research path.

5. A thorough search through related research avoids unintentional replication of previous studies. Frequently, a researcher develops a worthwhile idea only to discover that a very similar study has already been made. In such a case, the researcher must decide whether to deliberately replicate the previous work or to change the proposed plans and investigate a different aspect of the problem.

6. The study of related literature places researchers in a better position to interpret the significance of their own results. Becoming familiar with the- ory in the field and with previous research prepares researchers for fitting the findings of their research into the body of knowledge in the field.

As this discussion shows, quantitative research is built on a study of earlier work in the field, which helps the researcher refine his or her problem and place it in con- text. For qualitative researchers, the approach is very different. They are advised not to read in their area of interest because it is important that they approach their study without any preconceived ideas that might influence their work.

INDEXING AND ABSTRACTING DATABASES

Indexing and abstracting periodicals are vital for locating primary sources in your field. These publications subscribe to professional journals in a given discipline. Their staff then identifies the key terms for each article, indexes them, and typically provides an abstract for each article.

Databases that combine several of these indexing and abstracting periodicals are very useful because you can ask for your key terms of interest and the data- base will identify the journal articles by journal, date, volume number, and pages that include your key terms.

ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center)

There are several reasons for beginning with the ERIC database:

1. ERIC indexes and abstracts more education-related primary sources than any other database. It covers more than 800 journals and more than 1 million other documents.

2. It includes useful primary sources that were never published. In fact, ERIC was established in 1966 to collect, store, index, and abstract unpublished (fugitive) information. Such documents include reports submitted to the U.S. Department of Education by its contractors and grantees, reports submitted to state and local departments of education, papers presented at professional conferences, and so forth. The IDs of these documents begin with ED. Only later were pro- fessional journals added to the ERIC database. The IDs of journal articles begin with EJ. You can download the full text of ED materials. With EJ articles, only key terms (which ERIC calls descriptors) and abstracts can be downloaded.

3. It can be accessed for free from your home or office terminal at www.eric .ed.gov. The U.S. Department of Education contracts with a private contractor to maintain the ERIC system and provide its services free to the public.

The ERIC system formerly produced hard copy (print) periodicals of ED mate- rials in Resources in Education and EJ documents in Current Index to Journals in Education. Today, it exists only in electronic form. Submissions to ERIC are now evaluated on four criteria to determine what is included and what is not:

1. Relevance of the submission to education

2. Quality of the submission (completeness, integrity, objectivity, substantive merit, and utility/importance)

3. Sponsorship by professional societies, organizations, and government agencies

4. Editorial and peer review criteria

TYPES OF HYPOTHESES

There are three categories of hypotheses: research, null, and alternate.

THE RESEARCH HYPOTHESIS

The hypotheses we have discussed thus far are called research hypotheses. They are the hypotheses developed from observation, the related literature, and/or the theory described in the study. A research hypothesis states the relationship one expects to find as a result of the research. It may be a statement about the expected relationship or the expected difference between the variables in the study. A hypothesis about children’s IQs and anxiety in the classroom could be stated “There is a positive relationship between IQ and anxiety in elemen- tary schoolchildren” or “Children classified as having high IQs will exhibit more anxiety in the classroom than children classified as having low IQs.” Research hypotheses may be stated in a directional or nondirectional form. A directional hypothesis states the direction of the predicted relationship or difference between the variables. The preceding two hypotheses about IQ and anxiety are directional. A directional hypothesis is stated when one has some basis for predicting a change in the stated direction. A nondirectional hypothesis, in contrast, states that a relationship or difference exists but without specifying the direction or nature of the expected finding—for example, “There is a relationship between IQ and anxiety in children.” The literature review generally provides the basis for stating a research hypothesis as directional or nondirectional.

THE NULL HYPOTHESIS

It is impossible to test research hypotheses directly. You must first state a null hypothesis (symbolized H0) and assess the probability that this null hypothesis is true. The null hypothesis is a statistical hypothesis. It is called the null hypothesis because it states that there is no relationship between the variables in the popula- tion.A null hypothesis states a negation (not the reverse) of what the experimenter expects or predicts. A researcher may hope to show that after an experimental treatment, two populations will have different means, but the null hypothesis would state that after the treatment the populations’ means will not be different.

What is the point of the null hypothesis? A null hypothesis lets researchers assess whether apparent relationships are genuine or are likely to be a function of chance alone. It states, “The results of this study could easily have happened by chance.” Statistical tests are used to determine the probability that the null hypothesis is true. If the tests indicate that observed relationships had only a slight probability of occurring by chance, the null hypothesis becomes an unlikely expla- nation and the researcher rejects it. Researchers aim to reject the null hypothesis as they try to show there is a relationship between the variables of the study. Testing a null hypothesis is analogous to the prosecutor’s work in a criminal trial. To establish guilt, the prosecutor (in the U.S. legal system) must provide sufficient evidence to enable a jury to reject the presumption of innocence beyond reason- able doubt. It is not possible for a prosecutor to prove guilt conclusively, nor can a researcher obtain unequivocal support for a research hypothesis. The defendant is presumed innocent until sufficient evidence indicates that he or she is not, and the null hypothesis is presumed true until sufficient evidence indicates otherwise.

For example, you might start with the expectation that children will exhibit greater mastery of mathematical concepts through individual instruction than through group instruction. In other words, you are positing a relationship between the independent variable (method of instruction) and the dependent variable (mastery of mathematical concepts). The research hypothesis is “Students taught through individual instruction will exhibit greater mastery of mathematical con- cepts than students taught through group instruction.” The null hypothesis, the statement of no relationship between variables, will read “The mean mastery scores (population mean μi) of all students taught by individual instruction will equal the mean mastery scores (population mean μg) of all those taught by group instruction.” H0: μi = μg.*

THE ALTERNATIVE HYPOTHESIS

Note that the hypothesis “Children taught by individual instruction will exhibit less mastery of mathematical concepts than those taught by group instruction” posits a relationship between variables and therefore is not a null hypothesis. It is an example of an alternative hypothesis.

In the example, if the sample mean of the measure of mastery of mathematical concepts is higher for the individual instruction students than for the group instruction students, and inferential statistics indicate that the null hypothesis is unlikely to be true, you reject the null hypothesis and tentatively conclude that individual instruction results in greater mastery of mathematical concepts than does group instruction. If, in contrast, the mean for the group instruction students is higher than the mean for the individual instruction students, and inferential statistics indicate that this difference is not likely to be a function of chance, then you tentatively conclude that group instruction is superior.

The retention of a null hypothesis is not positive evidence that the null hypothesis is true. An important characteristic of inferential statistics is the process of going from the part to the whole. For example, you might study a randomly selected group of 500 students attending a university in order to make generalizations about the entire student body of that university.

A population is defined as all members of any well-defined class of people, events, or objects. CONTROL

Control of variables is the essence of the experimental method. When a study is completed, researchers want to attribute the outcome to the experimental treatment. To do this, they must eliminate all other possible explanations by controlling the influence of irrelevant variables. Without control it is impossible to evaluate unambiguously the effects of an independent variable or to make inferences about causality.

Basically, the experimental method of science rests on two assumptions regard- ing variables (Mill, 1986/1846):

1. If two situations are equal in every respect except for a variable that is added to or deleted from one of the situations, any difference appearing between the two situations can be attributed to that variable. This statement is called the law of the single independent variable.

2. If two situations are not equal, but it can be demonstrated that none of the variables except the independent variable is significant in producing the phenomenon under investigation, or if significant variables other than the independent variable are made equal, then any difference occurring between the two situations after introducing a new variable (independent variable) to one of the systems can be attributed to the new variable. A- MS office यानी Microsoft office माइक्रोसॉफ्ट (Microsoft) कंपनी द्वारा बनाया गया एक सॉफ्टवेयर संग्रह है जिसमे बहुत सारे दफ्तरों में काम में आने बाले बहुत सारे सॉफ्टवेयर उपलब्ध है। इसमें आपको दफ्तर के हर काम के लिए एक अलग सॉफ्टवेयर मिल जाता है। MS office का इस्तेमाल करके office का कोई भी काम जैसे document लिखना, स्प्रेडशीट बनाना, प्रेजेंटेशन बनाना आदि आसानी से किये जा सकते है। MS office office के कामो के लिए सबसे लोकप्रिय सॉफ्टवेयर है।

1. Microsoft word :-

MS word यानी Microsoft word Microsoft office package का एक सॉफ्टवेयर है. इसको 'Word' भी कहा जाता है. इसका इस्तेमाल Word processing करने यानी Documents को बनाने एडिट करने खोलने पड़ने फॉर्मेट करने, प्रिंट करने और शेयर करने के लिए किया जाता है.

MS word Microsoft (माइक्रोसॉफ्ट) कंपनी द्वारा बनाया गया सॉफ्टवेयर है. MS word सबसे ज्यादा इस्तेमाल होने वाला word processing सॉफ्टवेयर है इसका इस्तेमाल स्कूलों, कालेजो, दफ्तरों और कई जगहों पर होता है.
MS word का सबसे पहला version यानी 1988 में आया था तब इसका नाम MS work या microsoft work हुआ करता था. इसके बाद से MS word के काफी सारे versions आ चुके है.

Microsoft word को ओपन कैसे करें :-

1- MS word को ओपन करना बहुत ही आसान है इसके लिए सबसे पहले आपको अपने कंप्यूटर के start menu को ओपन करना होगा.

2- इसके बाद आपको अपने सामने एक सर्च बॉक्स दिखेगा जिसमे आपको "word" टाइप करना है.

3- अब आपको start menu में नीले कलर का आइकॉन दिखेगा बस आपको इस पर क्लिक करना है. बस आपके सामने MS word ओपन हो जाएगा.

Title bar :-

यह MS word के सबसे ऊपर का भाग होता है यहाँ पर हमें हमारी फाइल का नाम दिखाई देता है साथ ही साथ इसमें पांच बटन भी होते है जिनमे सबसे पहला बटन Help का होता है इसको दबाने पर help का विंडो खुलता है इसमें MS office की तरफ से ही काफी सारा help कंटेंट दिया गया है. दूसरा बटन Menu bar और Ribbon को छिपाने और दिखाने के लिए होता है. और उसके बाद बाला बटन विंडो को Minimize (मिनीमाइज) करने के लिए होता है जिसको दबाने पर हमारा MS word मिनीमाइज हो जाता है यानी taskbar में चला जाता है. उसके बाद वाला बटन विंडो को resize या छोटा बड़ा करने के लिए होता हो और पाँचवा बटन विंडो को क्लोज करने के लिए होता है.

Quick access toolbar :-

यह Title bar का ही एक हिस्सा होता है. इसमें सबसे पहले MS word का आइकॉन रहता है और उसके बाद के आइकॉन को हम आपने अनुशार कस्टमाइज कर सकते है.

Menu bar :-

Menu bar title bar के ठीक निचे होता है इसमें बहुत सारे option दिए गए है जिनमे कई सारे features दिए गए है लेकिन क्यूंकि हम अभी MS Word क्या है और इसके basics पड रहें है तो इनके बारे में हम बाद मे बात करेंगे.

Ribbon :-

यह menu bar का ही एक भाग होता है Menu bar से सेलेक्ट किये हुए menu के अंदर के सारे आइटम्स इस पर ही शो होते है बस 'File' menu के options को छोड़कर.

Text Area :-

यह MS word का सबसे ख़ास भाग होता है क्यूंकि हम अपना document यही एडिट करते है. हमें अपने document में जो भी लिखना होता है वो हमें यही पर लिखना पड़ता है.

Scroll bar :-

यह document को स्क्रॉल करने के लिए होता है.

Office button या File button :-

Office बटन MS office के पुराने version में पाया जाता था लेकिन आजकल इसकी जगह 'File' नाम के बटन ने ले ली है जो की इसकी तरह ही काम करती है. इसमें हमें कुछ basic features जैसे फाइल को सेव करना प्रिंट करना आदि के option मिल जाते है.

Document में title कैसे बनायें :-

Document का अपना एक title होता है. जो document के बाकी हिस्से से ज्यादा बड़े अक्षरों में लिखा जाता है. यह लिखने के लिए आपको MS word के Ribbon में दिए गए styles में से Title नाम का style सेलेक्ट करना होगा.

उसके बाद आप Text area में अपने document का title लिखकर enter दबाना होगा.इसके बाद आप अपने normal document को टाइप करना शुरू कर सकते है.

Font को कैसे चेंज करें :-

अगर आपने document पूरा टाइप कर लिया है तो आपको font बदलने के लिए document के पूरे text को सेलेक्ट करना होगा. सेलेक्ट करने के बाद Ribbon के font बाले हिस्से पर जाना होगा. अब आपको यहाँ पर दो ड्राप डाउन मेनू दिखेंगी जिनमे से एक में font और दुसरे में font के साइज़ का option रहेगा. इसमें से आपको font बाले ड्राप डाउन मेनू पर क्लिक करना है और अपना मन पसंद फॉण्ट सेलेक्ट करना है.

Font का साइज़ कैसे बदले :-

इसके लिए भी आपको text सेलेक्ट करना होगा सेलेक्ट करते समय इस बाद का ध्यान रखें की कही आपने किसी heading या title को तो सेलेक्ट नहीं किया है. text सेलेक्ट करने के बाद Ribbon के font वाले हिस्से में फॉण्ट drop down मेनू पर क्लिक करे और अपने फॉण्ट का साइज़ सेलेक्ट करें.

MS word में आइटम्स की लिस्ट कैसे बनायें :-

MS word में आप दो तरह की लिस्ट बना सकते है पहली बुलेट लिस्ट इस लिस्ट में आपको लिस्ट आइटम के पहले एक बुलेट दिखाई देगा और दूसरी है numbering लिस्ट इसमें हर आइटम के पहले एक क्रमशः एक number या अल्फाबेट दिखाई देगा. लिस्ट बनाने के लिए आपको Ribbon के पैराग्राफ वाले सेक्शन में जाना होगा उसमे से दोनों types मेसे कोई एक टाइप सेलेक्ट करना होगा. इसके बाद आप अपनी लिस्ट बना सकते है लिस्ट में अगला आइटम जोड़ने के लिए enter तथा लिस्ट को ख़तम करने के लिए दो बार enter प्रेस करना होगा.

Document को सेव कैसे करें :-

Document को सेव करने के लिए MS office 2013 और इससे बड़े वाले version में "File" मेनू दिया गया है इस पर क्लिक करने पर आपको बहुत सारे option मिलेंगे और उन्ही में से एक "Save as" का option भी होगा आपको इसी option पर क्लिक करके कंप्यूटर सेलेक्ट करके browse पर क्लिक करना होगा. MS office 2010 या 2017 में फाइल menu की जगह office बटन दिया गया है जो File मेनू की ही तरह है. फाइल को सेव करने के लिए आपको बस इसपर क्लिक करके 'save as' पर क्लिक करना. इसके बाद आपको अपने screen पर एक browse विंडो दिखेगी आपको उसमे से फोल्डर सेलेक्ट करना होगा और अपनी फाइल को एक नाम देना होगा फिर save पर क्लिक करना होगा.

2. Microsoft Excel :-

MS Excel यानी Microsoft Excel Microsoft (माइक्रोसॉफ्ट) कंपनी द्वारा बनाया गया एक सॉफ्टवेयर है. जो MS office यानी माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ऑफिस के साथ आता है. MS Excel spreadsheet (स्प्रेडशीट) बनाने के लिए उपयोग किया जाने वाला सॉफ्टवेयर है. इस सॉफ्टवेयर का इस्तेमाल मोटे तोर पर टेबल्स बनाने के लिए किया जाता है. इसमें रो और कॉलम पहले से ही दिए रहते है इसमें बहुत से cell होते है जिनमे हम अलग अलग डाटा भरते है. इसके रो और कॉलम हमारी जरूरत के हिसाब से expand होते जाते है. इस सॉफ्टवेयर की मदद से हम अपना डाटा जैसे मार्कशीट, कर्मचारियों के बेतन की जानकारी या किसी भी चीज़ का हिसाब-किताब एक साफ़ सुथरे ओर्गानिज़ ढंग से बना सकते है.

" Microsoft Excel यह एक electronic spreadsheet है, जिसका उपयोग रो और कॉलम में डेटा अरेंज करने और उसमें क्लिकली कैलकुलेशन करने के लिए होता है। आप आप से सैलेरी शीट, मार्क शीट और कोटेशन जैसे काम बहुत आसानी से कर सकते है। एक्‍सेल 2010 के एक शीट में 1,048,576 रो और 16,384 कॉलम होते है, जो पूराने Excel 2003 से 1500% ज्‍यादा रो और 6,300% ज्‍यादा कॉलम है। "

MS Excel को कैसे ओपन करें :-

MS Excel को आप डेस्कटॉप पर बने आइकॉन पर क्लिक करके ओपन कर सकते है. अगर आपको डेस्कटॉप पर इसका कोई आइकॉन नज़र नहीं आ रहा है तो आप start मेनू ओपन करके उसमे 'excel' सर्च कर सकते है और इसके आइकॉन पर क्लिक करके ओपन कर सकते है.

Title bar :-

Title bar MS Excel विंडो का सबसे ऊपर का भाग होता है इस पर फाइल का नाम लिखा होता है साथ में इसके दाई तरह 5 बटन होतें है जिनमे से पहला बटन help के लिए दूसरा बटन इसी विंडो के एक हिस्से जिसे Ribbon कहा जाता है को दिखाने और छिपाने के लिए होता है.

इसके बाद बाले बटन common विंडो बटन होते है यानी ये हर विंडो में होते है जो विंडो को क्लोज करने, मिनीमाइज करने और resize करने के काम आते है.

इसमें बायीं ओर एक और छोटा सा हिस्सा होता है जिसे quick access toolbar कहते है इसमें बहुत सारे बटन होते है जिन्हें हम अपने हिसाब से कस्टमाइज कर सकते है.

Menu bar :-

यह title bar के ठीक निचे होता है इसमें बहुत सारे option होते है जैसे File, Insert, Design आदि

Ribbon :-

यह MS Excel का वो हिस्सा है जिसपर ओपन किये गए Menu के अंदर के सारे टूल्स दिखाई देते है. यह ठीक menu bar के निचे ही होता है. इसमें File menu को छोड़कर सारे menu के tools दिखाई देते है.

Office button या File button :-

Office बटन MS office के पुराने version में हुआ करता था लेकिन आजकल इसकी जगह 'File' नाम के बटन ने ले ली है जो की इसकी तरह ही काम करती है. इसमें हमें कुछ basic features जैसे फाइल को सेव करना प्रिंट करना आदि मिल जाते है.

"यह बटन एक्‍सेल विंडो के उपर लेफ्ट कॉर्नर में होता है। इस बटन पर New, Open, Save, Save As, Print and Close जैसे कमांड के बटन होते है। "

Name box :-

यह ribbon के निचे बायीं तरफ दिखाई देता है जिसमे करंट cell का नाम दिखाई देता है और हम इसमें किसी भी cell काम नाम डालकर उस cell पर पहुँच सकते है.

Formula bar :-

यह name बॉक्स के बगल में ही दिखाई देता है. इसमें हम फार्मूला का इस्तेमाल करके डाटा पर ऑपरेशन कर सकते है जिनके बारे में हम आगे की पोस्ट में बात करेंगे.

Text Area या sheet :-

यह MS Excel का main हिस्सा होता है हम अपने document का डाटा इसमें ही लिखते है. हम अपने document को write और एडिट यहीं पर करते है.

Scroll bar :-

इसकी मदद से document को हम horizontally या vertically scroll कर पाते है.

Status bar और Zoom slider :-

Status bar में करंट status शो होता है जैसे Ready और इसमें ही दाई ओर एक और फीचर होता है जिसे zoom slider कहते है इसकी मदद से हम sheet को zoom in और zoom out कर सकते है.

MS Excel में एक बेसिक फाइल या document कैसे बनायें?

Row Horizontal cells होती हैं और column verticle cells होती है .

1- इसमें एक बेसिक document बनाते है. इसमें हम कोई फार्मूला या और कुछ नहीं लगाएंगे इसमें बस हम एक छोटी से लिस्ट बनाएंगे. जिसमे हम तीन कैंडिडेट विशाल, राज और रोहित के मैथ्स, इंग्लिश और हिंदी के मार्क्स store करेंगे.

2- इसके लिए आपको सबसे पहले MS Excel को अपने कंप्यूटर में ओपन करना होगा.

3- ओपन करने के बाद हमें इसमें सबसे पहले लेबल बनाने होंगे क्यूंकि हम अपनी फाइल में तरह-तरह का डाटा रखने वाले है जिसको हमें अलग-अलग नाम यानी लेबल देना होगा.

4- लेबल document की पहली row में दिए जाते है तो हम row के सबसे पहले cell को सेलेक्ट करेंगे और उसमे लिखेंगे 'no.' जिसके निचे हम कैंडिडेट को सीरियल number देंगे. उसके बाद हम दूसरा cell सेलेक्ट करेंगे जिसमे हम 'Name' लिखेंगे उसके बाद के cells में क्रमशः 'Maths', 'English' और 'Hindi' लिखेंगे.

5- अब इसके बाद हमें सबसे पहले कॉलम में सारी वैल्यूज देनी है क्यूंकि हमारे पास तीन कैंडिडेट है तो हम 'No.' वाले column के निचे बाले rows में एक से तीन तक number लिखेंगे.

6- इसके बाद वाले कॉलम में यानी जिसके पहले row में 'Name' लिखा हुआ है के निचे वाले rows में तीनो कैंडिडेट के नाम लिखेंगे. उसके बाद वाले कॉलम के निचे क्रमशः 'Maths', 'English' और 'Hindi' के नंबर लिखते जाएंगे.

7- इसके बाद आपको अपना document सेव करना है सेव करने के लिए MS excel विंडो के File button या office बटन को दबाएँ. उसके बाद आपको इसमें 'save as' का option मिलेगा जिसको आपको सेलेक्ट करना है सेलेक्ट करने के बाद browse पर क्लिस्क करना है और फिर फोल्डर सेलेक्ट करने के बाद 'save' बटन पर क्लिक करना है.

8- यह सब करने के बाद आपकी फाइल कुछ ऐसी दिखेगी.

Microsoft Excel Formulas :-

1- SUM :-

SUM formula का इस्तेमाल दो या दो से अधिक अंको का SUM करने यानी जोड़ने के लिए किया जाता है। जब भी हम किसी वर्कशीट में कुछ elements या elements की कतार को जोड़ने की जरूरत पड़ती है तो हम Excel के इस function या formula का इस्तेमाल कर सकते है। यह एक basic formula है जो हमें जानना बहुत जरूरी है। अगर हम इसके बिना cell में दिए हुए elements को जोड़ेंगे तो हमें बहुत ज्यादा समय लग जाता है।

Syntax :-
Excel में हम दो तरह से SUM का इस्तेमाल कर सकते है।

1. पहला AutoSum का इस्तेमाल करके इसके लिए आपको सबसे पहले आपको जिस row का Sum करना है उसके निचे एक खाली cell सेलेक्ट करनी है। अब आपको Menu bar में FORMULAS पर क्लिक करना है उसके बाद आपको Ribbon में दिख रहे AutoSum option पर क्लिक करना है। आपकी पूरी row का sum होकर selected sell में autofill हो जाएगा।

2. दूसरा =sum(elements) formula का इस्तेमाल करके। अगर आपको selected cells का sum करना है तो आपको formula कुछ इस तरह इस्तेमाल करना है। सबसे पहले एक खाली cell सेलेक्ट करें। उसके बाद formula bar में =sum() लिखकर parenthesis '()' में जिस जिस cell का sum करना है उनका नाम डालना है।
जैसे - =sum(c1, d2, c3, a2)
cell का नाम कुछ ऐसे होता है जैसे C कॉलम की 2 cell तो cell का नाम रहेगा c2। अगर आपको cell के नाम समझने में प्रॉब्लम आ रही है तो आप cell को सेलेक्ट करके उसका नाम formula bar के लेफ्ट साइड में name box में देख सकते है। अगर आपको पूरी row का sum करना है तो आप formula का इस्तेमाल कुछ इस तरह करें।
सबसे पहले एक खाली cell सेलेक्ट करें। उसके बाद formula bar में =sum() लिखकर parenthesis '()' में row के पहले cell का नाम लिखें है उसके बाद कोलन ':' लगाना है उसके बाद आखिरी cell का नाम लिखना है और फिर enter दबा देना है।
जैसे - =sum(e2:e7)

AVERAGE

इस formula का इस्तेमाल करके हम excel में किन्ही भी selected numbers का average यानी ओसत निकाल सकते है। आइये जानते इसके बारे में है।

Syntax

average भी आप दो तरीको से निकाल सकते है।

1. पहला Auto Average निकालना

इसके लिए आपको सबसे पहले row के निचे (जिसका average निकालना है) उसके निचे एक cell सेलेक्ट करना है।

उसके बाद menu bar से FORMULAS को सेलेक्ट करना है।

उसके बाद ribbon में AutoSum की जगह average सेलेक्ट करना है।

आपके row का average निकल जाएगा।

2. दूसरा =average() formula की मदद से

Selected elements या cell का average निकालने के लिए।

सबसे पहले एक खाली cell सेलेक्ट करें।

फिर formula bar में =average() लिखें और parenthesis '()' के बीच में उन सभी cells का नाम लिखें जिनका average निकालना चाहते है।

फिर enter दबा दें।

पूरी row का average निकलने के लियें

एक खाली cell सेलेक्ट करें।

उसके बाद formula bar में =average() लिखकर parenthesis '()' में row के पहले cell का नाम लिखें है उसके बाद कोलन ':' लगाना है उसके बाद आखिरी cell का नाम लिखना है और फिर enter दबा देना है।

इस formula का इस्तेमाल करके हम excel में numbers का product यानी गुना कर सकते है।

Syntax

Selected cell का product निकालने के लिए -

सबसे पहले एक खाली cell सेलेक्ट करें।

उसके बाद formula bar में =product() लिखें और parenthesis '()' यानी छोटे कोष्ठक के बीच में उन सभी cells का नाम लिखें जिनका product निकालना चाहते है।

और enter बटन दबा दें।

पूरी row का product निकलने के लियें -

एक खाली cell सेलेक्ट करें।

उसके बाद formula bar में =product() लिखकर parenthesis '()' में row के पहले cell का नाम लिखें है उसके बाद कोलन ':' लगाना है उसके बाद आखिरी cell का नाम लिखना है और फिर enter दबा दे।

MIN & MAX

इन दोनों formulas का इस्तेमाल करके हम selected numbers या किसी row के numbers में से सबसे maximum यानी बड़ा और सबसे minimum यानी सबसे छोटा number ढूंढ सकते है।

Syntax

selected cells के लिए min और max का इस्तेमाल -

सबसे पहले एक खाली cell सेलेक्ट करें।

उसके बाद formula bar में =min() लिखें और parenthesis के बीच में अपने cells का नाम लिखें। (अगर minimum value ढूँढनी है तो)।

या

formula bar में =max() लिखें और parenthesis में cell का नाम लिखें (अगर maximum value ढूंढनी है तो)।

उसके बाद enter दबाएँ।

row के सभी cells में से max और min के लिए -

सबसे पहले एक खाली cell सेलेक्ट करें।

फिर formula bar में =min(value1:value2) डालें (अगर minimum value निकालनी है तो)।

या

=max(value1:value2) डालें (अगर maximum value निकालनी है तो)

आप auto min और auto max का इस्तेमाल भी उसी तरह कर सकते है जैसे हमने auto sum और average का किया।

UPPER :-

यह formula पिछले formulas की तरह numbers के लिए नहीं है बल्कि इस formula का इस्तेमाल हम lowercase में लिखे हुए शब्दों या नमो को uppercase में करने के लिए करते है।

syntax

इसका इस्तेमाल एकदम सिंपल है।

इसके लिए सबसे पहले एक खाली cell सेलेक्ट करनी होगी।

उसके बाद formula bar में अपना formula =upper(cell name) लिखना होगा और cell name की जगह उस cell का नाम लिखना है जिसमे आपका text मौजूद है।

इस formula का इस्तेमाल करके selected text या नाम में कितने शब्द है यह पता कर सकते है।

3. Microsoft PowerPoint :-

MS PowerPoint यानी Microsoft PowerPoint इसे 'PowerPoint' भी कहा जाता है ये MS Office package का एक सॉफ्टवेयर है जो Microsoft (माइक्रोसॉफ्ट) कंपनी द्वारा बनाया गया है. इसका इस्तेमाल presentation यानी प्रस्तुति बनाने के लिए किया जाता है.

इस सॉफ्टवेयर में आपको पहले से ही बहुत सारे टूल्स और एक से बढकर एक theme दिए जाते है जिनकी मदद से आप काफी अच्छी presentation बना सकते है.

MS PowerPoint presentation के लिए सबसे ज्यादा इस्तेमाल किया जाने वाला टूल है इसकी बजह से आजकल किसी प्रोडक्ट के बारे या किसी बिषय में किसी को भी जानकारी बहुत आसान हो गया है. इसका उपयोग स्कूल, कॉलेज, दफ्तरों आदि में होता है और बिज़नस के लिए यह बहुत काम का टूल है.

PowerPoint को सर्वप्रथम एक कंपनी Forethought inc. ने 1987 में बनाया था इसका नाम पहले Presenter हुआ करता था लेकिन बाद में यह नाम बदल कर PowerPoint कर दिया गया और उसके बाद Forethought Inc. कंपनी को Microsoft ने खरीद लिया. अब PowerPoint MS office के साथ ही आता है.

Presentation क्या है ?

Presentation को PPT भी कहा जाता है यह कई सारे पाजो जिन्हें slide कहते है उनको मिलकर बनाई जाती है. इसमें हम अपने हिसाब से जितने चाहे उतने पेज या slide ले सकते है.

MS PowerPoint को कैसे ओपन करें ?

MS PowerPoint को आप डेस्कटॉप पर बने आइकॉन पर क्लिक करके ओपन कर सकते है. अगर आपको डेस्कटॉप पर इसका कोई आइकॉन नज़र नहीं आ रहा है तो आप start मेनू ओपन करके उसमे 'PowerPoint' सर्च कर सकते है और इसके आइकॉन पर क्लिक करके ओपन कर सकते है.

इस तरह से आप विंडोज 7, 8 और 10 में MS PowerPoint ओपन कर सकते है.

Title bar :-

Title bar MS PowerPoint विंडो का सबसे ऊपर का भाग होता है इस पर फाइल का नाम लिखा होता है साथ में इसके दाई तरफ 5 बटन होतें है जिनमे से पहला बटन help के लिए दूसरा बटन इसी विंडो के एक हिस्से जिसे Ribbon कहा जाता है को दिखाने और छिपाने के लिए होता है. इसके बाद बाले बटन common विंडो बटन होते है यानी ये हर विंडो में होते है जो विंडो को क्लोज करने, मिनीमाइज करने और resize करने के काम आते है. इसमें बायीं ओर एक और छोटा सा हिस्सा होता है जिसे quick access toolbar कहते है इसमें बहुत सारे बटन होते है जिन्हें हम अपने हिसाब से कस्टमाइज कर सकते है.

Menu bar :-

यह title bar के ठीक निचे होता है इसमें बहुत सारे option होते है जैसे File, Insert, Design आदि जिनके बारे में हम बाद में बिस्तार से पड़ेंगें. इस पोस्ट में हम केवल MS PowerPoint क्या है (in Hindi) पड़ेंगे.

Ribbon :-

यह MS PowerPoint का वो हिस्सा है जिसपर ओपन किये गए Menu के अंदर के सारे टूल्स दिखाई देते है. यह ठीक menu bar के निचे ही होता है. इसमें File menu को छोड़कर सारे menu के tools दिखाई देते है.

Office button या File button :-

Office बटन MS office के पुराने version में हुआ करता था लेकिन आजकल इसकी जगह 'File' नाम के बटन ने ले ली है जो की इसकी तरह ही काम करती है. इसमें हमें कुछ basic features जैसे फाइल को सेव करना प्रिंट करना ओपन करना और क्लोज करना आदि मिल जाते है.

Text Area या slide :-

यह powerpoint का सबसे ज्यादा important हिस्सा होता है हमारे slide में हमें क्या दिखाना है और क्या लिखना है यह सब काम हम इसके ऊपर ही करते है.

Scroll bar :-

इसकी मदद से slide को हम horizontally या vertically scroll कर पाते है.

Status bar और Zoom slider :-

Status bar में करंट slide number शो होता है और इसमें ही दाई ओर एक और फीचर होता है जिसे zoom slider कहते है इसकी मदद से हम sheet को zoom in और zoom out कर सकते है.

Thumbnail viewer :-

यह Text Area या slide के दाई और का हिस्सा होता है इसमें इसमें हमें दुसरे slide के thumbnail दिखाई देते है जिनपर क्लिक करके हम slides को एडिट करने के लिए ओपन कर सकते है.

MS PowerPoint में एक बेसिक Presentation कैसे बनायें?

दोस्तों, MS PowerPoint क्या है (in hindi) इसके बारे में तो हम जान ही चुके है. आइये अब हम इसमें एक बेसिक दो slide वाली presentation बनाकर देखते है.

1. इसके लिए सबसे पहले आपको PowerPoint को अपने कंप्यूटर पर ओपन करना होगा.

2. ओपन करने के बाद आपको अपनी presentation का Template पसंद करना है.

3. इसमें बहुत सारे Templates दिए रहते है जिनमे से आप कोई भी एक पसंद कर सकते है.

4. पसंद करने के बाद आपको कलर पसंद करके 'Create' बटन पर क्लिक करना है.

5. अब आपको सबसे पहले अपने presentation का title लिखना है और उसके ठीक निचे subtitle. यह सबसे करने के बाद अब आपको Thumbnail viewer पर राईट क्लिक करना है और New slide के option पर क्लिक करना है.

6. अब इस slide में आप सबसे पहला अपना title लिखकर उसके बारे में जो लिखना चाहें लिख सकते है.

7. अब आपको अपने presentation को सेव करना है. सेव करने के लिए सबसे पहले 'File' बटन पर क्लिक करना है और फिर 'save as' पर इसके बाद browse बटन पर क्लिक करके एक फोल्डर सेलेक्ट करना है.

जिसमे आप अपने presentation को सेव करना चाहते हैं. folder सेलेक्ट करने के बाद सेव पर क्लिक करना है और आपकी presentation तैयार है.

8. अपनी presentation का slide show देखने के लिए आपको अपनी presentation खोलकर 'Slide Show' मेनू पर क्लिक करना है और 'Start from begining' को दबाना है आप देख पाएंगे की आपकी presentation full screen पर दिखाई दे रही है.

9. आप अपने कंप्यूटर की लेफ्ट और राइट arrow keys से अपनी presentation control कर सकते है.

A.- सॉफ्टवेयर कंप्यूटर का वह भाग है जिसका इस्तेमाल करके हम कंप्यूटर से कोई काम करा सकते है। सॉफ्टवेयर को छुआ नहीं जा सकता बस देखा और चलाया जा सकता है क्यूंकि यह और कुछ नहीं बस कंप्यूटर की भाषा में लिखी गयी सूचनाओं और आदेशो का एक समूह होता है जो कंप्यूटर के अंदर ही किसी स्टोरेज device (जैसे हार्ड डिस्क) के अंदर स्टोर रहता है यानि की रखा रहता है। सॉफ्टवेयर अपने आप काम नहीं करते उनको हम अपने काम के हिसाब से इस्तेमाल करते है हमें सॉफ्टवेयर को चलाने के लिए कुछ जरूरी उपकरणों की जरूरत पड़ती है जिन्हें हम हार्डवेयर कहते है हार्डवेयर को हम अपने हाथो से छु सकते है। सॉफ्टवेयर को अपनी आँखों से देख सकते है लेकिन नहीं छु सकते है क्योंकि हार्डवेयर एक पदार्थ होता है जबकि सॉफ्टवेर कोई पदार्थ नहीं है यह बस कंप्यूटर के अंदर इंसानों द्वारा लिखे गए कुछ आदेशो का समूह है जिनके जरिये हम कंप्यूटर से अपना काम करवाते है। एक सॉफ्टवेर किसी एक ख़ास काम के लिए ही बना होता है /

मुखतः सॉफ्टवेयर को तीन भागो में बाटा गया है।

1- सिस्टम सॉफ्टवेर (System software)

2- एप्लीकेशन सॉफ्टवेर (Application software)

3- यूटिलिटी सॉफ्टवेयर (Utility software)

1- सिस्टम सॉफ्टवेर (System software) :-

सिस्टम सॉफ्टवेयर यानी वे सॉफ्टवेयर जो कंप्यूटर को नियंत्रित करने का कार्य करते है इन्हें हम आपने कामो के लिए use नहीं करते लेकिन कंप्यूटर को चलने के लिए इनकी जरूरत होती है। एप्लीकेशन सॉफ्टवेर भी सिस्टम सॉफ्टवेर पर depend होकर ही चल पाते है ये कंप्यूटर की आत्मा के तरह है अगर कंप्यूटर में सिस्टम सॉफ्टवेर नहीं रहेगा तो कंप्यूटर हमारा कोई भी काम नहीं करेगा।

ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम :-

ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम व्यवस्थित रूप से जमे हुए साफ्टवेयर का एक समूह होता है जो आंकडो एवं निर्देश के संचरण को नियंत्रित करता है। आपरेटिंग सिस्टम हार्डवेयर और साफ्टवेयर के बीच सेतु/पुल का कार्य करता है। कम्प्यूटर अपने आप में कोई भी अस्तित्व नही रखता है। यह केवल हार्डवेयर जैसे की-बोर्ड, मॉनिटर, सी.पी.यू इत्यादि का समूह है। आपरेटिंग सिस्टम समस्त हार्डवेयर के बीच सम्बंध स्थापित करता है। आपरेटिंग सिस्टम के कारण ही प्रयोगकर्ता को कम्प्यूटर के विभिन्न भागों की जानकारी रखने की आवश्यकता नहीं पड़ती है। यह सिस्टम के संसाधनों को बांटता एवं व्यवस्थित करता है। उदाहरण के लिए आप प्रिटिंग का कोई काम करें तो केन्द्रिय प्रोसेसर आवश्यक आदेश देकर वह कार्य आपरेटिंग सिस्टम पर छोड देता है और वह स्वयं अगला कार्य करने लगता है। इसके अतिरिक्त फाइल को पुनः नाम देना, डायरेक्टरी की विषय सूची बदलना, डायरेक्टरी बदलना आदि कार्य आपरेटिंग सिस्टम के द्वारा किए जाते है।

2- एप्लीकेशन सॉफ्टवेर (Application software) :-

एप्लीकेशन सॉफ्टवेयर यानी वे सॉफ्टवेयर जिनको हम अपने काम के लिए उपयोग में लेते है। हर एप्लीकेशन सॉफ्टवेयर एक ख़ास काम के लिए बना होता है जैसे की फोटोज एडिट करना विडियो एडिट करना गाने सुनना आदि हम आपने कामो के लिए एप्लीकेशन सॉफ्टवेयर को ही काम में लेते है। एप्लीकेशन सॉफ्टवेयर सिस्टम सॉफ्टवेर पर depend हो कर चलते है यह सीधे कंप्यूटर से कम्यूनिकेट नहीं करते यह सिस्टम सॉफ्टवेर से कम्यूनिकेट करते है।एप्लीकेशन सॉफ्टवेयर को apps भी कहा जाता है आप जो अपने फ़ोन में या कंप्यूटर में जो रोज मर्रा के कामो के लिए उपयोग करते है उन्हें ही एप्लीकेशन सॉफ्टवेयर कहा जाता है।

3- यूटिलिटी सॉफ्टवेयर (Utility software) :-

यूटिलिटी सॉफ्टवेयर को कंप्यूटर के एप्लीकेशन सॉफ्टवेयर, सिस्टम सॉफ्टवेयर और हार्डवेयर को ब्यवस्थित रूप में लाने के लिए किया जाता है। वैसे तो यूटिलिटी सॉफ्टवेयर सिस्टम सॉफ्टवेयर के अंतर्गत ही आते है लेकिन कभी कभी इन्हें अलग गिना जाता है। कुछ यूटिलिटी सॉफ्टवेयर आपने देखे ही होंगे जैसे की हम कंप्यूटर में से virus हटाने के antivirus सॉफ्टवेयर का इस्तेमाल करते है यह antivirus सॉफ्टवेयर एक यूटिलिटी सॉफ्टवेर है।

पर्सनल कंप्यूटर माइक्रो कंप्यूटरों का एक रुप है इसको बोल चाल की भाषा में PC भी कहा जाता है इसका निर्माण समय की जरूरत के कारण हुआ पहले के कंप्यूटर आकार में बहुत बड़े, धीमे और कम विश्वसनीय थे उससे भी बुरी बात यह थी कि उनकी कीमत बहुत ज्यादा थी जो साधारण उपयोगकर्ता की पहुंच से बाहर थी समय के साथ कंप्यूटर के आकार में कमी हुई और उनकी ताकत बड़ी कीमत भी नई तकनीकों के कारण कुछ घटी परंतु तब भी बे केवल बड़ी बड़ी कंपनियों द्वारा खरीदे जाने लायक रहे. 1970 के बाद के समय में माइक्रोप्रोसेसर बनाए गए जिनसे माइक्रो कंप्यूटर का जन्म हुआ यह आकार में बहुत छोटे थे परंतु उनकी शक्ति बहुत ज्यादा थी इनकी कीमत भी ऐसी थी कि मध्यम श्रेणी की कंपनियां भी खरीद कर लगा सकती थी तब यह विचार पैदा हुआ कि ऐसा कंप्यूटर बनाया जाए जो हर एक आदमी का अपना कंप्यूटर हो जिसे एक साधारण आदमी खरीद सके.

" पर्सनल कम्प्यूटर व्यक्तिगत उपयोग के लिए छोटा, अपेक्षाकृत कम खर्चीला डिजाइन किया गया कम्प्यूटर है । यह माइक्रोप्रोसेसर प्रौद्योगिकी पर आधारित है । व्यापर में इसका उपयोग शब्द संसाधन, लेखांकन, डेस्कटॉप प्रकाशन, स्प्रेडशीट तथा डेटाबेस प्रबंधन आदि के लिए होता है । घर में पर्सनल कम्प्यूटर का उपयोग मनोरंजन के लिए, ई-मेल देखने तथा छोटे-छोटे दस्तावेज तैयार करने के लिए होता है । "

PC का विकास

दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी कंप्यूटर बनाने वाली कंपनी IBM ने सन 1981 में अपना पर्सनल कंप्यूटर बनाने की घोषणा की इसको आईबीएम PC कहा गया इसकी क्षमता बहुत कम थी वास्तव में यह केवल कंप्यूटर के शौकीनों के लिए बनाया गया था यह आकार में इतना छोटा था कि मेज के एक कोने पर भी रखा जा सकता था, परंतु यह इतना पसंद किया गया के सभी कंपनियां इसे बनाने के लिए दौड़ पडी इसके साथ ही इनकी ताकत बढ़ाने की भी कोशिश की गई जिससे PC-XT तथा PC-AT सामने आए.
प्रारंभ में सभी पीसी एमएस-डॉस ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम पर चलते थे विंडोज ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम का विकास होने पर उनहे Windows पर चलाया जाने लगा जैसे जैसे windows का विकास होता गया वैसे-वैसे अधिक क्षमता की PC की आवश्यकता पड़ती गई इससे पेंटियम नाम से पर्सनल कंप्यूटर बाजार में आए जो कि आजकल सबसे ज्यादा प्रचलित है आजकल बड़े आकार के कंप्यूटर अंगुलियों पर गिरने लायक रह गए हैं. आज के पेंटियम कंप्यूटरों की शक्ति बड़े कंप्यूटरों की सत्य से टक्कर लेती है जबकि उनकी कीमत की तुलना में बहुत कम है शुरू में PC में लगाए जाने वाले प्रोसेसर 8 बिट के होते थे परंतु PC-AT तथा पेंटियमों में लगाए जाने वाले प्रोसेसर 16 या 32 बिट के होते हैं इनकी काम करने की गति बहुत अधिक होती है.
आजकल पुराने पीसी, PC-XT तथा PC-AT लगभग समाप्त हो गए हैं और केवल पेंटियम श्रेणी के PC अधिक प्रचलन में है इनकी गति बहुत तेज होती है तथा भंडारण क्षमता भी काफी अधिक होती है.

पीसी के भेद :-

PC के जन्म के बाद अब तक PC की कि कई पीढ़ियों सामने आ चुकी हैं उनमें मुख्य हैं PC-XT (Personal Computer – Extended Technology), PC-AT (Personal Computer – Advanced Technology), पेंटियम-1, पेंटियम-2, पेंटियम-3 तथा पेंटियम-4.
इनमें मुख्य अंतर प्रोसेसर तथा भंडारण क्षमता का होता है पीसी में लगाए जाने वाले माइक्रोप्रोसेसर इंटेल-8086 परिवार के होते हैं IBM ने अपने पहले पीसी के लिए इंटेल 8088 माइक्रोप्रोसेसर को पसंद किया था बाद के सभी IBM PC में इंटेल- 8086 परिवार के प्रोसेसर लगाए जाते हैं.

पीसी के मुख्य भाग (Main Parts Of PC)

कोई भी PC चाहे किसी भी प्रकार की हो PC-XT, PC-AT या पेंटियम और किसी भी कंपनी का बना हो उसके मुख्य भाग लगभग वही रहते हैं जिससे पूरा पर्सनल कंप्यूटर बनता है किसी कंप्यूटर के मुख्य भागों को उसका सिस्टम कॉन्फ़िगरेशन (System Configuration) कहा जाता है.

कम्प्यूटर:-

कम्प्यूटर गणितीय और अगणितीय क्रियाओं को करने वाला इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण है । यह आँकड़ों को इनपुट के तौर पर लेता है उन्हें प्रोसेस करता है और आउटपुट के तौर पर अर्थपूर्ण नतीजे प्रदान करता है । हम अपरिपक्व तथ्यों को आँकड़े के रूप में इकट्ठे करते हैं और ये आँकड़े कम्प्यूटर में डाले जाते हैं । कम्प्यूटर इन आँकड़ों को प्रोसेस करके हमें सूचनायें प्रदान करता है ।

अक्सर लोग सोचते हैं कि कम्प्यूटर एक सर्वशक्तिमान सुपरमैन की तरह है परन्तु ऐसा है नहीं । यह केवल एक स्वचालित इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मशीन है जो तीव्र गति से कार्य करता है और गलती नहीं करता है । इसकी क्षमता सीमित है । यह अंग्रेजी शब्द कम्प्यूट से बना है जिसका अर्थ गणना करना है । हिन्दी में इसे संगणक कहते हैं । इसका उपयोग बहुत सारे सूचनाओं को प्रोसेस करने तथा इकट्टा करने के लिए होता है ।

1. System Unit:-

System Unit एक बक्सा होता है जिसमें Computer को अपना कार्य करने के लिए आवश्यक यंत्र लगे होते है. सिस्टम युनिट को ‘C.P.U. भी कहा जाता है. इसमें mother board, processor आदि यत्रं होते है जो Computer को कार्य करने लायक बनाते है. इसे case भी कहते है.

2. Monitor:-

Monitor एक आउटपुट उपकरण है जो हमें दिए गए निर्देशों के परिणामों को दिखाता है. यह बिल्कुल टीवी के जैसा होता है. वर्तमान में मॉनिटरो की जगह एल सी डी एवं एल ई डी ने ले ली है.

3. Keyboard:-

Keyboard एक इनपुट उपकरण है जो हमें Computer को निर्देश देने के लिए होता है. इसकी मदद से ही Computer को वांछित आंकडे एवं निर्देश दिए जाते है. इसमे विभिन्न प्रकार की कुंजिया (keys) होती है इन्ही के द्वारा आंकडे एवं निर्देश Computer तक पहुंचाए जाते है.

4. Mouse:-

Mouse भी एक इनपुट उपकरण है जो Computer को निर्देश देने के लिए होता है. हम इसके द्वारा Computer में उपलब्ध प्रोग्राम को चुनते है.

5. Speakers:-

Speakers आउटपुट उपकरण है जो हमें Computer से आवाज को सुनने में मदद करते है. इन्ही के द्वारा हमें गानों, फिल्मों, प्रोग्रामों तथा खेलों आदि में उपलब्ध ध्वनी सुनाई देती है.

6. Printer:-

Printer भी एक आउटपुट उपकरण है जो Computer द्वारा विश्लेषित सूचनाओं को कागज पर प्राप्त करने के लिए होता है. कागज पर प्राप्त होने वाली सूचनाओं को ‘हार्डकॉपी’ भी कहते है. और इसके उलट जो सूचनाए Computer में ही रक्षित रहती है उन्हे ‘सॉफ्टकॉपी’ कहते है.

कम्प्यूटर की विशेषताएँ :-

यह तीव्र गति से कार्य करता है अर्थात समय की बचत होती है ।
यह त्रुटिरहित कार्य करता है ।
यह स्थायी तथा विशाल भंडारण क्षमता की सुविधा देता है ।

किसी भी computer network मे कंप्यूटर, स्विच, हब एंड दूसरी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स devices के साथ साथ नेटवर्किंग केबल भी एक important कम्युनिकेशन मध्यम है | केबल ही वो medium है जिसकी हेल्प से information तथा डाटा एक कंप्यूटर या डिवाइस से दूसरी डिवाइस तक मूव करता है | किसी भी नेटवर्क इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर मे किस प्रकार की नेटवर्क केबल use होगी यह नेटवर्किंग का एक important factor माना जाता है एवं रोज नयी technologies के आने से network cable का role और भी ज्यादा क्रिटिकल हो गया है | नयी Technologies जैसे ब्लेड सर्वर्स, virtualization, network storage devices, वायरलेस एक्सेस पॉइंट्स आदि जैसे जैसे नेटवर्क मे introduce होते जा रहे है नेटवर्किंग का fast and better perform करना जरुरी हो गया है |

वैसे तो नेटवर्क मे वायरलेस कम्युनिकेशन भी होता है जिसमे wires और केबल्स का बहुत जयदा उपयोग न करके वायरलेस टेक्नोलॉजीज की help से डाटा transmit किया जाता है लेकिन नेटवर्क इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर के डाटा ट्रांसफर मे फिजिकल medium सबसे मोस्ट इम्पोर्टेन्ट role play करता है | आज की date मे अलग अलग type की नेटवर्क केबल्स exist करती है जिनको अलग अलग use or purpose को ध्यान मे रखते हुए design किया गया है | किसी केस मे एक नेटवर्क एक तरह की नेटवर्क केबल utilize करता है जबकि दूसरा नेटवर्क किसी दूसरी type की केबल use कर सकता है | किस network मे किस type की केबल use करनी है यह उस नेटवर्क की topology, प्रोटोकॉल, size and दूसरे फैक्टर पर डिपेंड करता है |

Twisted Pair Cable

जब दो separate insulated wires को एक साथ twisted pattern मे एक दूसरे के parallel रखते हुए बनाया जाता है तो इसको twisted pair cable कहते है | Wires के pair से एक circuit बनता है जिससे की data transmit होता है | जब wire मे electrical current flow होता है तो यह wire के चारो तरफ छोटा सा magnetic field crate कर देता है एवं जब दो wires electrical circuit मे एक दूसरे के पास होते है तो उनका magnetic fields एक दूसरे के exact opposite होता है और दोनों magnetic fields एक दूसरे के magnetic effect को खत्म कर देते है इसके साथ साथ outside magnetic fields को भी cancel कर देते है | wires को Twist करने से wires का cancellation effect increase होने के साथ crosstalk (साथ वाले wire से generated होने वाली noise) से protection मिलता है |

UTP केबल :-

UTP cables बहुत सारे ईथरनेट नेटवर्क्स एंड टेलीफोन वायर systems मे use की जाती है | UTP cable मे Shielded का मतलब है किसी प्रकार की अतिरिक्त शील्डिंग या कवर नहीं करना जैसे की meshes or aluminum foil | UTP cable, twisted pair के बंडल से मिल कर बनती है | ट्विस्टेड पेयर्स छोटे 22- or 24- अमेरिकन वायर Gauge (AWG) साइज के वायर्स एक दूसरे के ऊपर ट्विस्ट करके बनती है | Wires, copper polyethylene (PE) or FEP insulation से मिलकर बनते है जो की specific कलर कोडेड होता है | कलर कोड depend करता है की वो wire किस application के लिए design किया जा रहा है | जैसे की AT&T ने सबसे पहले 25-pair कलर कोड UTP केबल अपने इंडोर टेलीफोन applications के लिए develop की जिसमे की अलग अलग color pair use किये गए जैसे की – blue-white, white-blue, orange-वाइट, white-ऑरेंज आदि | ये वायर polyethylene जैकेट जिसका रंग ज्यादतर grey होता है से cover होते है | ये UTP केबल फाइबर एंड coaxible केबल की तुलना मे सस्ते होने की वजह से ज्यादा use की जाती है और कंप्यूटर नेटवर्किंग जैसे शार्ट and medium length Ethernet connections मे use किये जाते है | UTP केबल को ज्यादातर Jack 45 (RJ-45) connector के साथ इनस्टॉल किया जाता है | RJ-45 जो की eight-wire का connector होता है computer equipment को नेटवर्क or Ethernet से कनेक्ट करने के लिए काम आता है|

UTP cable के फायदे – UTP का external diameter लगभग 0.43 cm (0.17 inches) होता है जो की इंस्टालेशन के लिए बहुत सूटेबल है इसलिए UTP केबल मे installation इजी व् सस्ता होता है | UTP LAN केबलिंग दूसरे नेटवर्क मीडिया की तुलना मे सस्ता होता है और इसको लगभग सभी प्रकार के major networking आर्चिटेक्टर्स के साथ use किया जा सकता है | UTP केबल lightweight, thin and बहुत फ्लेक्सिबल होने के साथ versatile, रिलाएबल एवं inexpensive होता है |

UTP केबल की खासियत है –

स्पीड — 10 to 1000 Mbps
हर नोड की एवरेज कॉस्ट — सबसे सस्ती
उसे की जाने वाली वायर व् कनेक्टर का साइज – सबसे छोटा
सबसे लम्बी सुताब्ले केबल के लम्बाई —100 m

नुकसान :-

दूसरे cable medium की तुलना मे UTP cable मे ज्यादा electrical नॉइज़ व् interference होता है |
ज्यादा लम्बाई की केबल मे डाटा ट्रांस्मिशन reliable नहीं है |
Cross-talk ज्यादा होता है |
डाटा के secure transmission का कोई provision नहीं है

How to create a Bootable USB Flash Drive on windows with diskpart ?

Bootable USB drive बनाने के लिए आपके पास एक minimum 4 GB size की USB drive होनी चाहिए और अगर इससे ज्यादा capacity ki USB है तो वो और भी अच्छा होगा | वैसे तो bootable USB के लिए 4 GB नहीं चाहिए लेकिन अगर आप इसमे OS files copy करते है तो 4 GB या उससे ज्यादा की जरुरत पड़ सकती है | आइए देखते है bootable USB drive बनाने का step by step process –

सबसे पहले आपके working windows computer मे USB drive insert करे |
अब आप administrtor rights के साथ Command Prompt open करे | इसके लिए windows start menu के search box मे cmd type करे फिर command prompt पर right click करके choose open as administrator
अब Dos command prompt पर Type करे – diskpart
अब आपको USB flash drive की information (drive number or letter) देखने के लिए command prompt पर type करना है – list disk and click ENTER. list disk command computer की सभी disk को display कर देगा | यहाँ पर आपको आपकी USB flash drive की drive number or letter को note करना है |
अब आप command prompt पर type करे select disk <z> and then click ENTER | यहाँ Z USB flash drive का drive number है |
इसके बाद USB drive के data को remove करने के लिए Type करे clean and hit ENTER. यह आपके USB drive का सारा data remove कर देगा |
अब USB मे नए primary partition create करने के लिए type create partition primary and hit ENTER
Create किये हुए primary partition को select karne के लिए type select part 1 and press ENTER
अभी आप USB को access नहीं कर सकते जब तक ये active नहीं हो जाता तो इसको active करने के लिए type active and press enter
एक बार partition active हो जाये तो आप इसको fat or NTFS किसी भी mode मे format कर सकते है|
1. NTFS मे format करने के लिए type format fs=ntfs quick, and then click ENTER
2. FAT मे format करने के लिए type format fs=fat32 and press enter
ये process करने के बाद आपकी USB drive ready है ऐवम अब आप इसको bootable drive काम मे ले सकते है | आप चाहे तो windows OS files इसमे copy कर सकते है जिससे आप इसको किसी system मे OS install कर सके |

ATX की तुलना मे AT पुराना standard है जो की अब धीरे धीरे बिलकुल नहीं या बहुत कम काम मे लिए जाता है |
AT and ATX motherboards को अलग अलग size मे produce किया जाता रहा है | AT boards ATX की तुलना मे बड़े size के होने के कारण AT board मे fit होने वाले computers के parts overlap कर जाते है | ATX board AT की तुलना मे कम से कम 4 inch narrow होते है जिससे की कोई overlap होने का chance नहीं होता है | Size की वजह से आप कभी भी AT case के साथ मे ATX motherboard को use नहीं कर सकते (ये कभी भी fit नहीं होंगे) |
AT system का एक नुकसान इसके back की ports भी है | AT boards मे AT cases से compatibility maintain करने के लिए केवल जरुरी connectors होते है और अगर आपको और connectors चाहिए होते तो आपको unused expansion slots का use करते हुए leads को add करना होता है जबकि ATX cases manufacturers को motherboards के suit करने वाले खुद के custom backplates allow करता है |
ATX से पहले power switch directly power supply से connected होता था इसलिए ही computer अपने आप (OS के shut down option से) turn off नहीं हो सकता था | ATX ने switch को motherboard पर move कर दिया | इसके बाद से computers को OS से power off किया जा सकता है ऐवम आपको manually power button से turn off करने की जरुरत नहीं है | इसके मतलब AT computers मे power switches directly power supply मे होता है जबकि ATX सिस्टम्स मे switch motherboard पर connected होता है |
AT ऐवम ATX मे power connectors अलग अलग होते है | AT motherboards को power देने के लिए दो 12-pin के plugs use करता है जबकि ATX motherboard केवल एक 20-pin का plug use करता है |

windows मे अगर आपको control panel open करना हो तो आप start menu मे जा कर control panel open करने के लिए कुछ steps follow करने पड़ते है लेकिन यहाँ पर हम जो commands आपको बता रहे है इनकी help से आप easily एक command से perform कर सकते है | जैसे की control panel open करने के लिए आपको run पर केवल “control” कमांड type करना है और ये control panel ओपन कर देगा | ये सभी कमांड्स विंडोज users and system administrator के काम को बहुत easy कर सकते है |इन commands के लिए या तो आप start के run पर जा कर command enter कर सकते है या फिर आप cmd prompt open करके भी इनको execute कर सकते है | वैसे तो निचे दिए गए commands windows XP से लेकर windows 10 सभी पर open होते है लेकिन किसी OS मे compatibility reasons के वजह से हो सकता है की ये run भी न हो |

विंडोज के पॉपुलर versions windows XP, windows 7, windows 8 and windows 10 है जिसमे की विंडोज 10 लेटेस्ट वर्शन है| जब भी किसी laptop या windows PC ko फॉर्मेट किया जाता है तो यह मशीन की ड्राइव को पूरी तरह से क्लीन करते हुए ड्राइव का पूरा data रिमूव कर देता है| विंडोज फॉर्मेट करने का कारण कुछ भी हो सकता है जैसे आपको पहले के OS रिमूव करके नया OS डालना हो, आपने नया PC ख़रीदा हो तो आप उस पर पहले का सारा डाटा रिमूव करके नया OS डालना चाहते है, आप अपना पुराना PC बेच रहे है और आप नहीं चाहते की आपका डाटा कोई और access करे, आपके करंट OS मे कुछ problem आ रही है एंड आप पूरी तरह से डाटा क्लीन करके नया OS डालना चाहते है आदि| Computer formatting का जो भी reason हो फॉर्मेट करने के तरीके पता होना चाहिए | वैसे जब केवल कंप्यूटर फॉर्मेट करने के बात की जाती है तो मशीन पर कोई भी OS (linux, windows etc) इन्सटाल्ड हो या फिर हार्ड ड्राइव क्लीन हो या नहीं उससे कुछ फर्क नहीं पड़ता क्योकि फॉर्मेट मे केवल हार्ड ड्राइव का डाटा रिमूव करना होता है चाहे वो पूरी हार्ड ड्राइव हो या केवल एक पार्टीशन ( c or D drive)|

Windows 7 Media (Bootable CD, DVD or USB) से फॉर्मेट करने का तरीका –

कंप्यूटर को स्टार्ट करे और विंडोज 7 की इंस्टालेशन मीडिया (USB or DVD) कंप्यूटर मे लगाने के बाद कंप्यूटर को वापस से रीस्टार्ट कर लें |
BIOS मे जा कर बूट प्रायोरिटी का source CD or USB करे (जो भी मीडिया आपके पास हो) :कंप्यूटर के स्टार्ट होने पर कंप्यूटर के मॉडल or BIOS version के अकॉर्डिंग आपको “F1,” “F2,” “DEL,” “ESC” या “F10 की प्रेस करना होगा जिससे की आप BIOS मे एंटर कर सके | आपको कौनसी key प्रेस करनी है वो आपको कंप्यूटर के स्टार्ट होते ही BIOS मे एंटर करने के लिए आने वाले message से पता लग जायेगा| BIOS मे जाने के बाद बूट options मे जा कर फर्स्ट बूट डिवाइस आपको USB या CD\DVD करना होगा (जिससे भी कंप्यूटर फॉर्मेट करना चाह रहे है)|
बायोस मे किये गए changes को सेव करके BIOS से exit करे । BIOS से एग्जिट करते ही कंप्यूटर ऑटोमेटिकली रीस्टार्ट हो जायेगा ।
कंप्यूटर रीस्टार्ट होने के बाद आपके कंप्यूटर स्क्रीन पर एक message शो होगा – “Press any key to boot from CD or DVD” | यहाँ पर आप जैसे ही एंटर key press करेंगे विंडोज 7 का इंस्टालेशन start हो जायेगा |

5 . नेक्स्ट स्क्रीन पर language, time and currency एवं keyboard input टाइप choose करके नेक्स्ट पर क्लिक करे | इसके बाद नेक्स्ट विंडो मे क्लिक on”Install Now”|

6 .आगे की विंडो मे license agreement को पढ़े और “I accept the license terms.” check box पर क्लिक करे | Continue करने के लिए फिर नेक्स्ट बटन को क्लिक करेंगे तो आपको दो options मिलेंगे – कस्टम्स एंड अपग्रेड | आपको कस्टम ऑप्शन choose करना है |

7. नेक्स्ट वाली window मे आपको आपके कंप्यूटर की सारी ड्राइव शो होंगी | किसी भी ड्राइव को सेलेक्ट करे और “Drive Options.” पर क्लिक करने पर आपको उस ड्राइव को format, delete, refresh, new के options मिलेंगे |

DNS कैसे काम करता है : DNS एक client server network communication system पर based service है जिसमे की client, server से request करता है एवेम server उस request को पूरा करता है | Request मे एक नाम दिया जाता है एवेम जिसका result IP address होता है इसको forward lookup DNS कहा जाता है | जब client request मे IP address को भेजता है and reply मे name मिलता है तो इसको reverse DNS lookup कहा जाता है | DNS forward lookup and reverse look के लिए एक database maintain करता है जिसकी help से यह request आने पर IP to name and name to IP मे convert करता है |इसको हम एक example से समझते है – मान लेते है की आपने browser मे type किया www.hinditechy.com तो DNS उसके corresponding IP address को DNS database मे search करता है एवेम जैसे की उसको website का IP address मिल जाता है तो वो होस्टिंग सर्वर को locate करके requested pages open कर देता है |

Network Repeater:-

हर operational computer या data communications network की एक specific Range होती है जहाँ तक उसकी service जा सकती है या वो अपने signal को send कर सकता है | लेकिन कभी कभार network को new/existing होस्ट तक पहुंचने के लिए signal को आगे तक पहुंचना होता है इस तरह के case मे network रिपीटर की service use कर सकता है जो की received signal को amplifies करते हुए आगे वाले destination/receiving nodes तक data को पंहुचा देता है | एक wireless repeater (जिसको की wireless range एक्सटेंडर भी बोलते है ) existing signal को wireless router or wireless access point से आगे फॉरवर्ड करने के लिए rebroadcasts करता है | जब दो या ज्यादा hosts IEEE 802.11 protocol को आपस मे connect करना होता है एवं distance ज्यादा होता है तो wireless repeater को इस gap को bridge करने के लिए use करते है | Wireless repeaters को ज्यादातर homes and small Offices मे signal range and strength इनक्रीस करने के लिए use करते है | wireless coverage को एक्सटेंड करने का एक better alternative है की secondary box को as a wireless access पॉइंट configure करो फिर LAN port से इस secondary box को primary box (router) की LAN port से wire से कनेक्ट करो and use करो |

Networking Hub :-

Hub एक नेटवर्क hardware device जो की multiple devices को आपस मे connect करने मे हेल्प करती है | जब हम एक नेटवर्क की बात करते है तो कहते है की हब एक most basic networking device है जो की multiple computers or other network devices को connects कर सकती है | एक network switch or router की तरह network हब की कोई routing tables or intelligence नहीं होती है एंड हब को ये नहीं पता होता है की डेटा information को कहा भेजना होता है इसलिए ये इनफार्मेशन या डेटा को सभी network कनेक्शन मे ब्रॉडकास्ट कर देता है |hubs basic network errors जैसे की collisions, को detect कर सकते है लेकिन information को multiple ports पर broadcast करना एक security risk हो सकता है | पहले के समय मे network hubs popular थे क्योकि ये switch or राऊटर के comparison मे कॉस्ट इफेक्टिव थे लेकिन आज switches भी बहुत सस्ते हो चुके है and do not cost much more than a hub इसलिए नेटवर्क के लिए switch much better सलूशन है |

Networking Router :-

Router एक हार्डवेयर डिवाइस है जो की इनकमिंग नेटवर्क पैकेट्स को रिसीव करने के बाद analyse करके दूसरे नेटवर्क मे forward या move करते है| अगर हम इंटरनेट के केस मे router की बात करते है तो राऊटर पैकेट्स को एनालाइज करके next network point का पता लगा कर packet को डेस्टिनेशन पर फॉरवर्ड करता है | Router पैकेट्स को दूसरे नेटवर्क इंटरफ़ेस मे कन्वर्ट, ड्राप या फिर दूसरा नेटवर्क रिलेटेड ऑपरेशन भी perform करता है | Routers को अगर simple language मे define किया जाये तो कहा जा सकता है की यह एक small electronic device होती है जो की multiple computer networks को wired or wireless connections की help से आपस मे connect करती है and जो भी packet router को receive होते है उनको analyse करके दूसरे नेटवर्क मे forward/pass करने का काम करती है | जब राऊटर के पास कोई पैकेट आता है तो router डेस्टिनेशन नेटवर्क का address एवं internal routing table चेक करने के बाद decide करता है की पैकेट को किस पोर्ट या नेटवर्क मे फॉरवर्ड करना है| Actually Routing डाटा के फ्लो को नेटवर्क सेग्मेंट्स के बीच और hosts or routers के बीच मैनेज करने का process है | इस routing को मैनेज करने के लिए राऊटर एक table मैनेज करता है जिसमे network के दूसरे routers की information store होती है |

Switch :-

Switch को इंटेलिजेंट डिवाइस भी कहा जाता है| स्विच को छोटे एवं बड़े सभी तरह के नेटवर्क मे use किया जा सकता है | स्विच मे जब किसी डिवाइस से कोई इनफार्मेशन आती है तो switch उस इनफार्मेशन को Broadcast नहीं करता| Switch के पास अपना data स्टोर करने का स्पेस होता है जहाँ पर वो चेक करता है की आने वाला पैकेट किस डिवाइस के लिए है | स्विच के पास सभी नेटवर्क devices के फिजिकल एड्रेस सेव होते है, उनको चेक करने के बाद स्विच इनफार्मेशन को सीधे उस डिवाइस पर भेज देता है एवं information को broadcast किये बिना| इससे नेटवर्क मे पैकेट ट्रांसफर की स्पीड भी फ़ास्ट होती है एवं network मे unnecessary ट्रैफिक भी नहीं बढ़ता | इसमे half /Full duplex transmission mode होता है |

Networking Bridge :-

Bridge एक प्रकार का Computer Network Device है, जो एकही(Same) Protocol Use करने वाले Other Bridge Network के साथ Interconnect करता है। Bridge Device ओपन सिस्टम इंटरकनेक्ट मॉडल ( The OSI Seven Layer Model) के Data Link Layer पर काम करता है और दो अलग अलग Network को एक साथ Connect और उन दोनों के बीच Communicate करता हैं। Bridges, Repeaters and Hubs के जैसे ही हर Node से Data Broadcast(प्रसारण) करता हैं। Bridges का इस्तेमाल मुख्यतः Local Area Network में किया जाता है। Bridge का काम है Data packets के Destination को Examine करना (one at a Time) और Decide करना की Data Packets को Ethernet Segment की दूसरी Side मे Send करना है या नहीं। Bridge, Media Access Control (MAC) के लिए Address Table को Maintain करता है जो की Data Packet के Fast Transmission मे Help करता है जैसे ही कोई New Segment आता है तो उससे उसके ही Desired Recipient को भेज देता हैं।

चुकंदर के स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य लाभ चुकंदर स्वास्थ्य के लिए काफी लाभदायक सब्जी है। इसमें कार्बोहाइड्रेट और कम मात्रा में प्रोटीन और वसा पाया जाता है। इसका जूस सब्जियों में सर्वश्रेष्ठ माना जाता है। चुकंदर एक सब्जी है जिसको हम कच्चा या सलाद में खा सकते हैं, अर्थात कच्चा और पका कर दोनों ही तरीके से खा सकते हैं। और इसका रस तो बहुत ही स्वादिष्ट होता है, ये सिर्फ स्वादिष्ट ही नहीं बल्कि गुणों का खजाना है, लोग इसको सिर्फ खून बढाने के लिए जानते हैं, मगर वो इसके दुसरे फायदे नहीं जानते होंगे जैसे ये लीवर से फैट हटाने के लिए बहुत ही रामबाण है। आंतो में फैली गंदगी के अवरोध को समाप्त करने के लिए, और आपकी आँखों को फिर से रोशन करने के लिए और ये यहीं नहीं रुकता ये हमारे ब्लड सर्कुलेशन को बढाता है, हाई ब्लड प्रेशर के रोगियों के लिए ये अमृत के समान है।

सामग्री :-
2 चुकंदर
2 प्याज
1 चम्मच – तिल का का तेल
1 चम्मच – सिरका
स्वादानुसार – सेंधा नमक

तैयार और खाने की विधि :-
सबसे पहले आप चुकंदर और प्याज को सलाद के रूप में काट लें, इस पर सिरका और तेल छिड़क दीजिये और इसमें स्वाद के अनुसार नमक मिला दीजिये, भोजन करने के 1 घंटा पहले आप इस सलाद का भरपूर आनंद लें। ज्यादा नहीं सिर्फ 1 महीने में आपका पुरा शरीर उर्जा से भरपूर होगा, लीवर स्वस्थ होगा, आँखों की रौशनी में गज़ब का परिवर्तन मिलेगा। ब्लड प्रेशर में भी बहुत लाभ होगा, हृदय सही ढंग से काम करेगा. प्रयोग काल में चाय, चीनी, मैदे, सफ़ेद नमक से पूर्ण परहेज करना है।
