Horsehide Pocket Holster by Kramer

A good pocket holster needs to do just a few things, but do them very well. Greg Kramer knew this and made sure that his holsters designed would do more than fit the bill.
First all the holster needs to provide a safe environment for carrying a small pistol in the pocket. Only a crazy person carries a loaded handgun in the pocket without a holster. Anything that is in the pocket can become entangled with the trigger at which point the slightest movement can cause the revolver to discharge. Scary thought. The Kramer design does this well.
The second thing needed is for the holster to stay put. The last thing anyone needs when required to hastily put rounds on target is to have the pocket holster come out with the gun when drawn. Again, the forward, high arched "wing" of the [...]

Horsehide Pocket Holster by Galco

The Galco Horsehide Pocket Holster looks very similar to many others of of the same platform. Of course, the devil is in the details as the saying goes.
Unlike many competitors, Galco's pocket holster is stitched with the rough side out. This provides a high-friction surface which works to keep the holster securely in the pocket when the gun is drawn.
The holster is made with a cut away pattern to facilitate a superior grip on the gun when needed. Each holster is patterned properly to match up to every gun and ensure that this cut away design does not interfere with the pocket holster's ability to protect the trigger properly when carried.
This premium horsehide pocket holster is designed for front pocket carry in pants or a jacket. It keeps the firearm in the same general position so you can quickly locate the grip when you need to [...]

Nylon Pocket Holster by Uncle Mike’s

If you are familiar at all with Uncle Mike's Holsters, then you know that they pretty much look at any traditional design and figure out how they can make it with nylon and make it better. Such is the case with their pocket holster.
Uncle Mike's Pocket Holster comes in two variations. The first is a full-wrap that covers the majority of the gun up to the grip. This design is doubly effective at breaking up the outline of the gun when carried in the pocket. It's weakness lies in the fact that the grip of the pistol is not completely exposed, setting up the possibility of a more tenuous grip when the gun is drawn in an emergency situation.
The second variation of this pocket holster utilizes a cut-back design. While not as effective at presenting a smooth, broken-up outline of the pistol when carried, it [...]

PCH-R Pocket Holster by Milt Sparks

In 2000 the folks over at Milt Sparks Holsters designed to rework their long offered PCH-R pocket holster. The upgraded version became known as the model "I" and the new holster is often referred to as the PCH-RI. This newer rendition of a well-loved design kept all the favorite features of the the original and added a new, higher quality leather layout.
The PCH-RI positions the revolver rearward towards the center line of the pocket. This small changes allows a forward to rear, thin edge to thin edge profile on the holster. The outer shell remains unformed in order to obscure the details of the gun that it houses. It is the holster's overall shape and size in concert with the rough side out construction on the inner shell which provides every shooter with the knowledge that the pocket holster itself will remain in place when the [...]

Leather Pocket Holster by Alessi

The ultimate purpose of a pocket holster is to keep a small pistol or revolver secure while carried in the pocket of the shooter's trousers while at the same time remaining in the pocket when the gun is drawn.
Lou Alessi designed his pocket holster with the rough side of the leather out and the smooth side in. This increases the surface friction of the holster by a factor of 10 which is why the Alessi Pocket Holster is known for it's real-world reliability in crisis situations. The design is not fancy, but it works and that's what really matters.
This holster can be either the right pocket or the left. Drawing the pistol simply requires that the gun be drawn toward the back edge of the pocket and out. In addition to the friction from the leather's rough surface, the edge of the pocket holster catches the pocket [...]

PCH Pocket Holster by Milt Sparks

One of only a few pocket holster designs made by Milt Sparks, the PCH (Pocket Concealment Holster) is designed to shield an ultra-small pistol such as a mini-revolver, or super-small automatic.
These holsters are leather. If you are thinking of buying one new it will feature a built-in wire that allow the edge of the holster to be molded to stay in proper position and contour better to your body. This add-in was not brought into production before the 2000 model year, so if you are thinking of buying one second hand its often best to check with the seller to see if this is integrated or not if it's something that matters to you.
Tan is the standard color offered and the Milt Sparks website makes no mention of any other, but as the company is known for being a small-run custom shop, it's very likely that you could [...]
