It's insanity to me to see how the rest of the world or modern world has left us behind. Our rivers of interstate highways are fine examples of great infastructure development. However they are examples of our demise. Europe and China are leaving us behind with their development of high speed and light rail. If we want to have a successful future we have demand now that our leaders and giant special interests have to get together and move forward into the future.<br /> You can go to any town in America and see the remains of our older systems of mass transit. So it wouldn't be all that hard to bring them back and use these old lines to move people now that can't move freely. I just hope we give up on our dependence on the automobile and get out of them and walk for one and also have the opportunity to travel together on our new systems that we sorely need. We can come back.
